Abstract
Description
Smart farm automatic control method and system thereof
[0001] The technical idea of the present disclosure relates to a smart farm automatic control method and system thereof.
[0002] A smart farm is a farm that integrates information and communication technology into the agricultural sector to remotely or automatically manage the crop growth environment. It is a representative icon of the facility horticulture sector, which is attracting attention as part of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
[0003] Smart farms provide the necessary conditions for crop growth and control the greenhouse environment to maximize crop yield. Specifically, based on information about temperature, humidity, solar radiation, and carbon dioxide concentration within the greenhouse, they control various environmental factors within the greenhouse to create an environment conducive to plant growth.
[0004] As a prior art related to environmental factor control of a smart farm, Korean Patent Registration No. 699162 has been presented. The technology discloses a ubiquitous-based farm management system and method thereof, and includes a management terminal for detecting environmental factors inside a house to be managed using a communication network and controlling the temperature and humidity inside the house, a farm management server for comparing the environmental factors received from the management terminal with farm management data required for cultivating or raising crops or livestock managed in the house, transmitting the comparison result to a mobile terminal through a communication network, and transmitting a control signal received from the mobile terminal to the management terminal.
[0005] However, these conventional technologies have limitations in that they only control a smart farm based on information about environmental factors collected from a single smart farm, and thus cannot provide information for comparing sensing data of various environmental factors and growth status of multiple smart farms, or provide more effective control of smart farms based on sensing data from other smart farms.
[0006] The technical idea of the present disclosure is to solve the above problem, and the purpose is to provide a smart farm automatic control method and system thereof.

[0013] According to an exemplary embodiment, the method further includes: comparing sensing data for at least one environmental factor of the first sub-area with at least one other sub-area of the first smart farm excluding the first sub-area; and determining whether the first sub-area corresponds to an abnormal suspected state based on a result of the comparison of the sensing data for the first sub-area with the other sub-area, wherein the comparing the sensing data for the first sub-area and the second sub-area and the determining whether the abnormal operating state corresponds to the abnormal suspected state may be performed when the first sub-area is determined to be in an abnormal suspected state.
[0014] According to an exemplary embodiment, if the first sub-area is determined to be in an abnormal operating state, a step of transmitting a notification to an administrator terminal may be further included.

In addition, the server (200) may process a process alone, or multiple servers may process the process.
[0047] In an embodiment, the server (200) receives sensing data of environmental factors for sub-areas of a plurality of smart farms (110, 120), and compares the sensing data of corresponding sub-areas of each smart farm (110, 120), thereby determining whether at least one of the sub-areas of a specific smart farm (110, 120) is operating abnormally.
[0048] The network may include all networks to which the control device (30), administrator terminal (130), and server (200) can connect, such as the Internet, intranet, extranet, LAN (Local Area Network), MAN (Metropolitan Area Network), and WAN (Wide Area Network).
[0049]
[0050] FIG. 2 is a block diagram briefly illustrating the configuration of a smart farm automatic control server according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0051] The communication unit (210) can receive input data (such as sensing data on environmental factors) for performing automatic control of a smart farm. In addition, the input unit (220) may include or be combined with various input devices, such as a touchscreen or buttons, to receive external user commands.
[0053] The memory (230) can store programs and / or program commands for the operation of the processor (240), and can temporarily or permanently store input / output data. The memory (230) can include at least one type of storage medium among flash memory type, hard disk type, multimedia card micro type, card type memory (e.g., SD or XD memory, etc.), RAM, SRAM, ROM, EEPROM, PROM, magnetic memory, magnetic disk, and optical disk.
[0054] Additionally, the memory (230) can store various network functions and algorithms, and can store various data, programs (one or more instructions), applications, software, commands, codes, etc. for driving and controlling the server (200).
[0055] The processor (240) can control the overall operation of the server (200). The processor (240) can execute one or more programs stored in the memory (230). The processor (240) may refer to a central processing unit (CPU), a graphics processing unit (GPU), or a dedicated processor on which methods according to the technical concepts of the present disclosure are performed.
[0056] In an embodiment, the processor (240) receives sensing data for at least one environmental factor for a plurality of sub-areas of a plurality of smart farms from at least one sensing device, compares the sensing data for a first sub-area of a first smart farm with a second sub-area of at least one other second smart farm corresponding to the first sub-area, and determines whether the first sub-area corresponds to an abnormal operating state based on a result of the comparison of the sensing data for the first sub-area and the second sub-area. Here, the environmental factor may include at least one of temperature, humidity, illuminance, air content, and soil component content.
[0057] In an embodiment, the processor (240) may determine that the first sub-region is in an abnormal operating state if the sensing value for at least one environmental factor of the first sub-region is greater than a predetermined difference from a reference value calculated based on sensing data of the second sub-region. Here, the reference value may be an average value or a median value of the sensing values of at least one environmental factor of the second sub-region.
[0058] In an embodiment, when the processor (240) determines that the first sub-region is in an abnormal operating state, the processor (240) may operate an environmental control device for the first sub-region so that at least one environmental factor of the first sub-region reaches a reference value.
[0059] In an embodiment, the processor (240) compares sensing data for at least one environmental factor of a first sub-area and at least one other sub-area of a first smart farm excluding the first sub-area, determines whether the first sub-area corresponds to an abnormal suspected state based on a result of the comparison of the sensing data for the first sub-area and the other sub-area, and compares the sensing data for the first sub-area and the second sub-area when the first sub-area is determined to be in an abnormal suspected state.
[0060] In an embodiment, the processor (240) may transmit a notification to the administrator terminal when the first sub-area is determined to be in an abnormal operating state.
[0061]
[0062] FIG. 3 is a flowchart for explaining a smart farm automatic control method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0063] In step S310, the server (200) can receive sensing data for at least one environmental factor for multiple sub-areas of multiple smart farms (110, 120) from at least one sensing device (10).
[0064] For example, a sensing device (10) provided in each of a plurality of sub-areas of each smart farm (110, 120) detects environmental factors (temperature, humidity, illuminance, etc.) for each sub-area to generate sensing data, and this sensing data can be transmitted to a server (200) through a control device (30).
[0065] At this time, the plurality of smart farms (110, 120) may include a first smart farm (110) and at least one second smart farm (120). The first smart farm (110) and the second smart farm (120) may be farms that cultivate the same crop.
[0066] Additionally, as illustrated in FIG. 4, the first smart farm (110) and the second smart farm (120) can be divided into multiple sub-regions. That is, by dividing the cultivation area of the smart farm (110) into multiple regions based on location and reference area, multiple sub-regions can be divided.
[0067] At step S320, the server (200) can compare sensing data for the first sub-area of the first smart farm (110) and the second sub-area of at least one other second smart farm (120) corresponding to the first sub-area.
[0068] For example, the server (200) can compare sensing data (temperature measurement values, humidity values, illuminance values, etc.) of sub-area A of the first smart farm (110) and sub-area A' of the second smart farm (120) corresponding thereto.
[0069] At step S330, the server (200) can determine whether the first sub-area of the first smart farm (110) is in an abnormal operating state based on the comparison result of the sensing data.
[0070] In an embodiment, the server (200) may determine that the first sub-area is in an abnormal operating state when a sensing value (temperature measurement value, humidity value, illuminance value, etc.) for at least one environmental factor of the first sub-area of the first smart farm (110) is more than a predetermined difference from a reference value calculated based on sensing data of the second sub-area of at least one second smart farm (120). Here, the reference value may be an average value or a median value of the sensing values of the second sub-areas of a plurality of second smart farms (120).
[0071] For example, if the temperature measurement value of sub-area A of the first smart farm (110) is greater than a certain difference (for example, a difference of 10°C or more) from the average of the temperature measurement values of sub-areas A' of a plurality of second smart farms (120), the server (200) can determine that sub-area A of the first smart farm (110) is in an abnormal operating state.
[0072] In step S330, if the server (200) determines that the first sub-area of the first smart farm (110) is in an abnormal operating state, the server (200) can operate the environmental control device (20) for the first sub-area so that at least one environmental factor of the first sub-area reaches a reference value.
[0073] For example, the server (200) can operate the environmental control device (20) for the first sub-area by transmitting a predetermined control signal to the control device (30) of the first smart farm (110). That is, if the reference value is 25°C and the temperature measurement value of the first sub-area is 15°C, the server (200) can operate the heating device so that the temperature of the first sub-area reaches the reference temperature value.
[0074] At step S340, the server (200) can send a notification of abnormal operation to the administrator terminal (130).
[0075] That is, the server (200) can notify the manager of the first smart farm (110) of the abnormal operation of the first sub-area, thereby allowing the manager to take appropriate action (manual control of the environmental control device (20), maintenance, etc.).
[0076] Meanwhile, the method (300) illustrated in FIG. 3 is exemplary and may be modified in various ways depending on the embodiment. In an embodiment, steps S340 and S350 may be performed simultaneously or in a reversed order. Furthermore, in an embodiment, only one of steps S340 and S350 may be performed. That is, for example, if an abnormal operation state is determined in step S320, the process may proceed directly to step S350 without performing step S340, so that the server (200) may transmit a notification of the abnormal operation to the administrator terminal (130).
[0077]
[0078] FIG. 5 is a flowchart for explaining a smart farm automatic control method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0079] The method (500) may further include steps S510 and S520 in addition to the method (300) described above with reference to FIG. 3.
[0080] In step S310, when sensing data for multiple sub-areas of multiple smart farms (110, 120) is received, the process proceeds to step S510, where the server (200) can compare sensing data for at least one environmental factor of the first sub-area of the first smart farm (110) among the multiple smart farms (110, 120) and at least one other sub-area excluding the first sub-area.
[0081] For example, the server (200) can compare the temperature measurement value of sub-area A of the first smart farm (110) with the temperature measurement values of sub-area B, sub-area C, and / or sub-area D located around sub-area A.
[0082] Next, in step S520, the server (200) can determine whether the first sub-area corresponds to an abnormal suspected state based on the comparison result of the sensing data.
[0083] Specifically, if the sensing value of the first sub-area is more than a certain difference from the sensing values of other sub-areas, their average value, or their median value, the server (200) can determine that the first sub-area is in an abnormal suspected state.
[0084] For example, the server (200) may determine that the first sub-area is in an abnormal state if the temperature measurement value of sub-area A of the first smart farm (110) does not have similar temperature measurement values to those of other sub-areas B, C, and D, and there is a difference greater than a certain level.
[0085] That is, if the environmental control device (30) of the first smart farm (110) is completely broken down, power is not supplied, or maintenance is performed, the sensing value for a specific environmental factor is measured to be equally low or high across the entire sub-area or multiple sub-areas. In such a case, the process of determining whether or not it is operating abnormally through comparison with another second smart farm (120) or controlling the environmental control device (30) based on this is unnecessary.
[0086] In step S520, if it is determined that the first sub-area corresponds to an abnormal suspected state, the process proceeds to step S320, and the server (200) can perform a series of processes to compare the sensing data of the first sub-area with the sensing data of the second sub-area of another second smart farm (120) corresponding to the first sub-area.
[0087]
[0088] The method according to the embodiment of the present disclosure may be implemented in the form of program commands that can be executed through various computer means and recorded on a computer-readable medium. The computer-readable medium may include program commands, data files, data structures, etc., alone or in combination. The program commands recorded on the medium may be those specially designed and configured for the present disclosure or may be those known and available to those skilled in the art of computer software. Examples of the computer-readable recording medium include magnetic media such as hard disks, floppy disks, and magnetic tapes, optical media such as CD-ROMs and DVDs, magneto-optical media such as floptical disks, and hardware devices specially configured to store and execute program commands such as ROMs, RAMs, and flash memories. Examples of program commands include not only machine language codes generated by a compiler, but also high-level language codes that can be executed by a computer using an interpreter, etc.
[0089] Additionally, the methods according to the disclosed embodiments may be provided as a computer program product. The computer program product may be traded as a product between a seller and a buyer.
[0090] A computer program product may include a software program and a computer-readable storage medium on which the software program is stored. For example, a computer program product may include a product in the form of a software program (e.g., a downloadable app) distributed electronically by an electronic device manufacturer or through an electronic marketplace (e.g., Google Play Store, App Store). For electronic distribution, at least a portion of the software program may be stored on a storage medium or temporarily created. In this case, the storage medium may be a storage medium of a manufacturer's server, an electronic marketplace server, or a relay server that temporarily stores the software program.
[0091] In a system comprising a server and a client device, the computer program product may include a storage medium of the server or a storage medium of the client device. Alternatively, if a third device (e.g., a smartphone) exists that communicates with the server or the client device, the computer program product may include a storage medium of the third device. Alternatively, the computer program product may include a software program itself that is transmitted from the server to the client device or the third device, or from the third device to the client device.
[0092] In this case, one of the server, the client device, and the third device may execute the computer program product to perform the method according to the disclosed embodiments. Alternatively, two or more of the server, the client device, and the third device may execute the computer program product to perform the method according to the disclosed embodiments in a distributed manner.
[0093] For example, a server (e.g., a cloud server or an artificial intelligence server, etc.) may execute a computer program product stored on the server, thereby controlling a client device in communication with the server to perform a method according to the disclosed embodiments.
[0094]
[0095] Although the embodiments have been described in detail above, the scope of the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and various modifications and improvements made by those skilled in the art using the basic concepts of the present disclosure defined in the following claims also fall within the scope of the present disclosure.

5. In paragraph 3, A method further comprising the step of operating an environmental control device for the first sub-region so that at least one environmental factor of the first sub-region reaches the reference value when the first sub-region is determined to be in an abnormal operating state.
6. In paragraph 1, A step of comparing sensing data for at least one environmental factor of the first sub-area and at least one other sub-area of the first smart farm excluding the first sub-area; and Further comprising a step of determining whether the first sub-area corresponds to an abnormal suspected state based on a comparison result of sensing data for the first sub-area and the other sub-area, A method, wherein the step of comparing sensing data for the first sub-area and the second sub-area and the step of determining whether the first sub-area corresponds to an abnormal operating state are performed when the first sub-area is determined to be in an abnormal suspected state.
7. In paragraph 1, A method further comprising the step of transmitting a notification to an administrator terminal when the first sub-area is determined to be in an abnormal operating state.
8. In the smart farm automatic control system, at least one processor; and A memory for storing a program executable by the processor, The processor, by executing the program, receives sensing data for at least one environmental factor for a plurality of sub-areas of a plurality of smart farms from at least one sensing device, compares sensing data for a first sub-area of a first smart farm with a second sub-area of at least one other second smart farm corresponding to the first sub-area, and determines whether the first sub-area corresponds to an abnormal operating state based on a result of the comparison of the sensing data for the first sub-area and the second sub-area. The above sub-area is a system that is set by dividing the cultivation area of the smart farm into multiple areas based on location and reference area.
9. A computer program stored in a recording medium for executing any one of the methods of paragraphs 1 to 7.
