[0001] A PIZZA BOX
[0002] TECHNICAL FIELD
[0003] The invention relates to a box for packaging various products, in particular pizzas.
[0004] PRIOR ART
[0005] Packaging boxes are boxes used for the protection, transportation and storage of various products. These boxes are usually made of carton, cardboard, or other durable materials. The purpose of packaging boxes is to protect the products against external factors, to prevent them from being damaged during transportation and to ensure order in storage.
[0006] Packaging boxes are widely used in many industries, such as food, electronics, healthcare, etc. One of these is pizza boxes. A pizza box is a special type of packaging used for transporting pizza. It is usually made of carton or cardboard material and is designed to help keep the pizza slices inside warm and fresh. Pizza boxes are widely used by pizza restaurants and fast food chains.
[0007] The use of the raw materials consisting the pizza boxes in the prior art is not at an optimal level. Considering that thousands of pizza boxes are widely used all over the world per day, it has negative effects on the environment. Today, the efficiency of raw materials, which is very much needed, decreases and therefore causes more energy consumption and more costs. In addition to all these drawbacks, it leads to triggering the climate crisis even more.
[0008] Furthermore, a special opening section must be made in order for today's pizza boxes to be opened when they reach the end consumer. For this reason, additional operations are required to configure said special opening sections, thus wasting time and increasing energy use.
[0009] As a result, all the above-mentioned problems have made it imperative to make an innovation in the relevant technical field. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0010] The present invention relates to a box for eliminating the above-mentioned disadvantages and bringing new advantages to the relevant technical field.
[0011] An object of the invention is to introduce a box whose raw material requirement and therefore cost is reduced.
[0012] Another object of the invention is to introduce an environmentally friendly box by reducing the required energy as a result of using less material.
[0013] In order to accomplish all the objects mentioned above and which will arise from the detailed description below, the present invention relates to a box for packaging various products, in particular pizzas, comprising at least one bottom and at least one lid, having at least one back wall connecting said lid and said bottom, and in which the lid comprises at least one carrier and at least one side carrier. Accordingly, the novelty is that the bottom comprises at least one first folding wall and at least one second folding wall having a length shorter by the shortening distance than said carrier in the x-axis direction, and at least one side wall having a length shorter by the shortening distance than said side carrier also in the x-axis direction. Thus, while it can function as a pizza box, cost and energy savings are achieved.
[0014] A possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that it is essentially a pizza box. Thus, it ensures that the pizza is transported while being preserved.
[0015] A possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that said shortening distance is essentially to centimeters. Thus, the use of materials is reduced without losing its functionality.
[0016] A possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that said bottom comprises at least one lock gap and said second folding wall comprises at least one lock corresponding to said lock gap. Thus, the installation of the box can be provided. A possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that said back wall comprises at least one hole. Thus, the steam of the hot food transported is prevented from being trapped inside and softening the food.
[0017] A possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that said lid comprises at least one handle that can help the user to open the box, and said handle is essentially a partially half-moon-shaped gap. Therefore, this facilitates opening of the box.

[0024] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0025] In this detailed description, the box (10) of the invention is explained by way of example only for a better understanding of the subject, which shall not create any limiting effect.
[0026] Fig. 1 shows a representative top view of the box (10) of the invention in unassembled state. The box (10) provides storage and transportation of various products, in particular pizzas. The box (10) is monolithic and takes its final form by folding. In order to achieve this, it includes at least one lid (20). Said lid (20) forms the upper part of the box (10). In a preferred embodiment of the invention, it is rectangular in shape. In alternative embodiments of the invention, it can have circular or polygonal shapes.
[0027] Fig. 2 shows a representative isometric view of the box (10) of the invention in assembled, half-open state. The lid (20) comprises at least one carrier (21) on at least one edge. Said carrier (21 ) is connected to the lid (20) such that there is partial freedom of rotation. The carrier (21) can be positioned vertically in the x-axis (x) direction with the closure of the lid (20). The carrier (21) is the same size as the desired height of the box (10). Thus, the carrier (21) helps the carrier (21) task by touching the bottom (30) of the box (10) after the box (10) is closed.
[0028] In an alternative embodiment of the invention, the lid (20) comprises at least one handle (23) between it and the carrier (21 ). With said handle (23), it is easier to open the closed box (10). The handle (23) is essentially a gap. The handle (23) can be in various geometries such as partially half-moon-shaped, full circle, triangle. Therefore, the box (10) can be easily opened with the insertion of a finger by the user.
[0029] The lid (20) comprises a side carrier (22) on at least one edge. The said side carrier (22), like the carrier (21), is connected to the lid (20) such that there is partial freedom of rotation. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the number of side carriers (22) is two. The length of the carrier (21 ) and side carriers (22) in the direction of the x-axis (x) is in the desired height of the box (10) on the x-axis (x). Thus, it ensures that the product remains in a closed area after the box (10) is assembled with the lid (20).
[0030] The box (10) comprises at least one back wall (40). Said back wall (40) forms the back wall (40) of the box (10) after it is assembled. The back wall (40) is configured in such that there is also partial freedom of rotation between the lid (20) and the bottom (30). The back wall (40) comprises at least one hole (41). Thus, the ventilation of the products placed in the box (10) or the softening of products such as pizza as a result of steam is prevented. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the number of holes (41 ) is two. The box (10) comprises at least one bottom (30). Said bottom (30) is essentially the part where the products will be placed. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, it is rectangular in shape. In alternative embodiments of the invention, it can have circular or polygonal shapes.
[0031] Fig. 3 shows a representative isometric view of the box (10) of the invention in assembled, closed state. The bottom comprises at least one side wall (33) on at least one edge. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, there are two side walls (33). Owing to the side wall (33) which is designed shorter than the desired height of the box (10) in the direction of the x-axis (x), the material used is reduced due to its positioning on the right and left of the box (10). Said height difference, i.e. the distance saved, is the shortening distance (I). In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the shortening distance (I) is two centimeters. In alternative embodiments of the invention, it can have any length. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the side wall (33) is designed to be two centimeters smaller than the desired height measurement. Despite its shorter height, the side wall (33) continues to fulfill its function in keeping the product in a closed environment.
[0032] The bottom (30) comprises at least one first folding wall (31) on at least one edge. The bottom (30) comprises at least one second folding wall (32) on at least one edge. Said second folding wall (32) is connected to the first folding wall (31 ) such that it can rotate around the folding part (35). Thus, the first folding wall (31 ) and the second folding wall (32) are located side by side in the x-axis (x) direction. The height of the first folding wall (31) and the second folding wall (32) is equal to the length of the side wall (33) in the direction of the x-axis (x). Thus, savings can also be achieved in the first (31 ) and second folding walls (32).
[0033] The second folding wall (32) comprises at least one lock (321) on at least one edge. Said lock (321) is essentially a protrusion. The bottom comprises at least one lock gap (34) on at least one surface. Thus, the lock (321 ) on the second folding wall (32) engages with the lock gap (34), keeping the first and second folding walls (32) fixed in the x-axis (x) direction. In other words, the second folding wall (32) is connected by engaging by shape with the lock gap (34) located on the bottom (30) in a manner that also secures the first folding wall (31 ). Thus, by positioning the side wall (33), the first folding wall (31 ), the second folding wall (32), and the back wall (40) in the x-axis (x) direction, the bottom of the box (10) can become a chamber in which products can be placed.
[0034] Therefore, the first folding wall (31 ), the second folding wall (32) and the side wall (33), which are connected to each other in terms of assembly on the bottom (30), are made two centimeters smaller than the requested height, resulting in a total size advantage of eight centimeters.
[0035] The opening of the box (10) is facilitated by means of the shortening distance (I) that occurs in a preferred embodiment of the invention. In the pizza boxes (10) of the prior art, the walls forming the bottom (30) and the lid (20) do not have a place where they can be grasped for opening, since the carriers are of the same length, and a handle (23) is required. However, in box (10) of the present invention, owing to the shortening distance (I) caused by the shortening of the bottom (30) walls, the end consumer can open the lid (20) by holding any part of the front face to open the lid (20). Therefore, the need for any other structure to open the box (10) can be eliminated.
[0036] Fig. 5 shows a representative top view of the arrangement of the box (10) of the invention during production. Pizza boxes are arranged side by side as the amount the machine capacity allows during production. With the present invention, a nesting arrangement can be made and the machine capacity can be used in the most efficient way. In other words, two different boxes (10) can be arranged side by side such that the edge of the side carrier (22) and the edge of the side wall (33) coincide, complementing each other and leaving no gaps, due to the formation of the shortening distance (I). This reduces the space needed.
[0037] Therefore, although a pizza box with the same functionality is obtained by means of the box (10), both a decrease in the number of raw materials used and a decrease in the production energy consumed can be achieved.
[0038] The scope of protection of the invention is specified in the appended claims and cannot be limited to what is described for illustrative purposes in this detailed description. It is clear that a person skilled in the art can produce similar embodiments in the light of what is explained above, without deviating from the main theme of the invention.
