Heavy oil thermal recovery, currently the world's largest engineering project for enhancing crude oil and heavy oil recovery, has experienced rapid growth. Thermal recovery primarily includes steam stimulation, steam flooding, steam-assisted gravity drainage (SAGD), hot water flooding, and reservoir thermal combustion.

[0005] Steam-assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) involves first injecting steam into the reservoir to increase the pressure, and then using the higher pressure to collect oil and gas. Different tools need to be switched between steam injection and collection, increasing tool costs and the number of operational steps.

[0039] Technologies, methods, and equipment known to ordinary technicians in the relevant art may not be discussed in detail, but where appropriate, they should be considered part of the specification.

[0040] Referring to Figures 1 to 9, the present solution provides a downhole steam injection and collection tool, which includes an outer tube 12 and a plunger device arranged in the outer tube 12. The plunger device includes a plunger tube 2 that forms a steam injection annulus with the outer tube 12. The lower part of the outer tube 12 is provided with a steam injection hole connected to the steam injection annulus. The upper part of the plunger tube 2 is provided with a vent hole connected to the steam injection annulus. The plunger device includes a floating valve assembly arranged in the plunger tube 2. The floating valve assembly can be operated to move axially relative to the plunger tube 2 to open the floating valve, thereby allowing oil and gas to pass through the plunger tube 2.

[0041] The outer tube 12 is the external structure of the downhole steam injection and collection tool. The plunger tube 2 is concentrically arranged in the outer tube 12, and a steam injection annulus is formed between the two. The steam injected into the plunger tube 2 can enter the steam injection annulus through the vent hole and be discharged through the steam injection hole at the lower part of the outer tube 12 and injected into the reservoir.

[0042] A flow guide cover may be provided on the outside of the outer cylinder 12, with its opening facing downward to protect the steam injection holes so that the steam injection airflow flows downward.

[0043] The plunger device also includes a floating valve assembly arranged in the plunger barrel 2. By operating the floating valve assembly, it can be opened or closed, thereby allowing oil and gas to flow upward through the plunger device when the floating valve assembly is opened, thereby realizing oil and gas collection.

[0044] The steam injection and collection process of the downhole steam injection and collection tool can be as follows: the floating valve assembly remains closed, at this time, steam is injected into the plunger tube 2 to inject steam into the reservoir through the steam injection hole of the outer tube 12, thereby increasing the pressure in the reservoir; after stopping the steam injection, the floating valve assembly is opened, and the oil and gas flow upward at high pressure, thereby passing through the plunger device to realize the collection of oil and gas; repeat the above operations to realize the steam injection and collection cycle.

[0045] It should be noted that the flow area of the vent is relatively small. When oil and gas pass through the plunger device, only a small amount of oil and gas enters the steam injection annulus through the vent, which will not affect the collection of oil and gas. Moreover, when the oil and gas pressure is too high, the presence of the vent can avoid or alleviate blowouts.

[0046] In this solution, steam injection and oil collection can be carried out separately. After the steam injection is completed, there is no need to remove any equipment, and the state can be directly switched from steam injection to oil extraction, which shortens the switching time, reduces heat loss, and saves costs.

[0047] In which, the floating valve assembly includes a piston outer tube 8, a piston inner tube arranged in the piston outer tube 8, a downstream floating valve gasket 20 arranged at the upper end of the piston inner tube, a downstream floating valve 21 arranged on the upper side of the downstream floating valve gasket 20, a piston joint spring 19 arranged between the piston inner tube and the piston outer tube 8, and a limit pin 6 radially passing through the piston outer tube 8. A spring sheet 5 elastically acting on the limit pin 6 is provided on the outer periphery of the piston outer tube 8. A groove is provided on the inner periphery of the plunger tube 2. The piston outer tube 8 can move axially between an upper position and a lower position. In the upper position, the spring sheet 5 is located in the groove, the limit pin 6 moves radially outward to allow the piston inner tube to move downward, and the downstream floating valve 21 disengages from and opens the downstream floating valve gasket 20; in the lower position, the spring sheet 5 disengages from the groove, the limit pin 6 limits the downward movement of the piston inner tube, and the downstream floating valve 21 engages and closes the downstream floating valve gasket 20.

[0048] As shown in Figure 1, the piston inner tube includes a piston lower joint 18 and a piston lower component 7, which are inserted into the piston outer tube 8. A piston joint spring 19 is arranged between the two. The piston joint spring 19 can move the piston inner tube downward, thereby driving the downstream movable valve gasket 20 to disengage from the downstream movable valve 21.

[0049] As shown in Reference Figure 7, a rectangular groove 82 is provided on the outer periphery of the piston outer tube 8 to accommodate the curved spring sheet 5, and a through hole 83 is provided in each rectangular groove 82 to accommodate the limit pin 6 to pass through. The spring sheet 5 can act on the limit pin 6 so that the limit pin 6 can intervene in the interior of the piston outer tube 8 to limit the axial movement of the piston inner tube; when the piston outer tube 8 moves to allow the spring sheet 5 to enter the groove of the plunger tube 2, the limit pin 6 moves radially outward, thereby releasing the axial limiting effect on the piston inner tube (piston lower component 7), thereby allowing the piston lower component 7 and the piston lower joint 18 to move downward.

[0050] The lower end of the downstream movable valve 21 is roughly spherical, and the downstream movable valve gasket 20 forms a circular hole. When the downstream movable valve 21 is pressed against the circular hole, the downstream movable valve is in a closed and disconnected state. When the downstream movable valve gasket 20 moves downward, the downstream movable valve 21 disengages from the circular hole to open the downstream movable valve, thereby allowing oil and gas to pass through.

[0051] When it is necessary to open the plunger device, the plunger device can be operated to move the piston outer tube 8 upward to reach a position where the spring sheet 5 is aligned with the groove of the plunger tube 2. Under the action of the piston joint spring 19, the piston lower component 7 and the piston lower joint 18 move downward; when it is necessary to close the plunger device, the plunger device can be operated to move the piston outer tube 8 downward, the spring sheet 5 is staggered with the groove of the plunger tube 2, and the piston lower component 7 and the piston lower joint 18 move upward.

[0052] The lower portion of the outer circumference of the piston inner tube is provided with a first boss, and the middle portion of the inner circumference of the piston outer tube 8 is provided with a second boss. The piston joint spring 19 is positioned between the first and second bosses, enabling the piston inner tube to move upward and compress the downstream movable valve gasket 20 against the downstream movable valve 21. A first boss 81 is provided on the inner circumference of the piston outer tube 8. The piston lower joint 18 is partially inserted into the piston lower component 7, with the uninserted portion being larger than the outer diameter of the piston lower component 7 to form a second boss. The piston inner tube, consisting of the piston lower joint 18 and the piston lower component 7, is constructed for ease of processing and assembly.

[0053] A third boss is provided on the upper portion of the outer periphery of the piston inner tube. In the upper position, the limit pin 6 is located radially outward of the third boss, and in the lower position, the limit pin 6 is located axially below the third boss. The third boss is provided on the piston lower component 7. When the spring sheet 5 does not enter the groove of the plunger tube 2, the limit pin 6 is located at its radially inward limit position, axially below the third boss, to limit the downward movement of the piston lower component 7. When the spring sheet 5 enters the groove of the plunger tube 2, the limit pin 6 moves radially outward, allowing the piston lower component 7 to move downward, driving the downstream movable valve gasket 20 to move and disengage from the downstream movable valve 21.

[0054] The stop pin 6 includes a head 61 and a tail 63 rotatably hinged to the head 61. The tail 63 can rotate upward under oil and gas pressure to reduce the radial dimension of the stop pin 6, and can rotate downward under gravity to increase the radial dimension of the stop pin 6. As shown in FIG3 , the tail 63 is rotatably hinged to the head 61 via a hinge shaft 62. The tail 63 has an L-shaped stop structure. Under gravity, the stop structure is limited by a mating structure on the head 61, allowing the tail 63 to extend horizontally. Under oil and gas pressure, the tail 63 is pushed upward by the oil and gas, reducing the length of the stop pin 6, thereby allowing the boss of the piston lower component 7 to pass over the stop pin 6.

[0055] When the plunger device needs to be opened, the piston outer tube 8 can be driven upward, so that the spring sheet 5 enters the groove of the plunger tube 2, and the limit pin 6 moves radially outward. At the same time, the nail tail 63 rotates upward under the upward pressure of the oil and gas, and the length of the limit pin 6 inserted into the piston outer tube 8 becomes smaller. Under the elastic force of the piston joint spring 19, the piston lower part 7 moves downward, and the third boss above the limit pin 6 can pass over the limit pin 6 downward, and the downstream movable valve gasket 20 disengages from the downstream movable valve 21 to allow oil and gas to flow upward through the downstream movable valve gasket 20; when the plunger device needs to be closed, the piston outer tube 8 can be driven downward, the spring sheet 5 disengages from the groove of the plunger tube 2, and when the piston lower joint 18 collides with the structure located on its lower side, the piston lower joint 18 and the piston lower part 7 move upward relative to the piston outer tube 8. The third boss moves to the upper side of the stop pin 6, and the nail tail 63 rotates downward under the action of gravity. At the same time, the spring plate 5 pushes the stop pin 6 radially inward, and the stop pin 6 once again locks the piston lower part 7. When the plunger device needs to be closed, generally after collecting oil and gas, the oil and gas pressure drops, so the nail tail 63 can rotate downward under the action of gravity.

[0056] In addition, the floating valve assembly includes a piston connector 4 connected to the upper end of the piston outer tube 8. An axially movable downstream floating valve seat 23 is provided on the piston connector 4. The downstream floating valve 21 is connected to the downstream floating valve seat 23. A downstream floating valve spring 22 is provided between the downstream floating valve 21 and the piston connector 4. The upper portion of the downstream floating valve 21 passes through the downstream floating valve seat 23. The downstream floating valve spring 22 is located between the lower end ball of the downstream floating valve 21 and the downstream floating valve seat 23, allowing the downstream floating valve 21 to move to its downward limit position. When the piston inner tube moves upward, the downstream floating valve gasket 20 collides with the downstream floating valve 21. The downstream floating valve spring 22 acts as a buffer and presses the downstream floating valve 21 against the circular hole of the downstream floating valve gasket 20.

[0057] In addition, the upper end of the piston connector 4 is connected to a tubular exhaust member 3, which is provided with an exhaust hole. An annulus is formed between the exhaust member 3 and the plunger barrel 2. After the collected oil and gas enter the exhaust member 3, the gas can be allowed to enter the annulus between the exhaust member 3 and the plunger barrel 2 through the exhaust hole, and then enter the steam injection annulus through the vent hole on the plunger barrel 2, thereby discharging the gas back into the reservoir. In addition, when the oil and gas pressure is too high, some of the oil and gas can also be returned to the reservoir in this way, avoiding or alleviating blowouts.

[0058] Furthermore, the upper end of the steam exhaust component 3 is connected to an upstream movable valve seat 27 with a flow groove 273. An upstream movable valve gasket 24 is disposed between the upstream movable valve seat 27 and the steam exhaust component 3. The upstream movable valve seat 27 is equipped with an axially movable upstream movable valve 25 and an upstream movable valve spring 26 that elastically acts on the upstream movable valve 25. The flow groove 273 allows collected oil and gas to enter the annulus between the upstream movable valve seat 27 and the plunger cylinder 2, allowing further upward flow and collection. The upstream movable valve 25 and upstream movable valve gasket 24 cooperate in the same manner as the downstream movable valve 21 and downstream movable valve gasket 20, and will not be repeated here. When oil and gas enter the steam exhaust component 3, the pressure of the oil and gas causes the upstream movable valve 25 to move upward, opening the circular hole in the upstream movable valve gasket 24 and allowing the oil and gas to pass through. The oil and gas then enter the upstream movable valve seat 27 and are then discharged through the flow groove 273.

[0059] The upstream movable valve base 27 can be connected to the sucker rod. In addition, the upstream movable valve base 27 can be connected to the sucker rod so that the upstream movable valve base 27, the exhaust member 3, the piston connector 4, and the piston outer tube 8 can be driven by the sucker rod to axially move, thereby realizing the opening and closing of the plunger device.

[0060] The plunger assembly also includes a pressure-regulating retaining ring 10 disposed on the underside of the traveling valve assembly. A pressure-regulating nozzle 103 is provided within the retaining ring 10. Referring to Figure 5 , the retaining ring 10 is provided with the pressure-regulating nozzle 103 to regulate the pressure of the oil and gas. Furthermore, a wear ring 101 and a sealing ring 102 may be provided on the outer circumference of the retaining ring 10.

[0061] A first limiting member 9 and a second limiting member 11 may be provided on the upper and lower sides of the pressure regulating retaining ring 10 , respectively, so that the pressure regulating retaining ring 10 is fixed in the plunger cylinder 2 .

[0062] In addition, the lower end of the plunger tube 2 is connected to a fixed valve outer tube 13, a fixed valve 16 axially movably disposed within the fixed valve outer tube 13, a fixed valve spring 17 elastically acting on the fixed valve 16, and a fixed valve gasket 15 disposed at the lower end of the fixed valve outer tube 13. Specifically, a valve assembly is disposed at the lower end of the plunger tube 2. When the oil and gas pressure in the reservoir is high, particularly when the piston outer tube 8 and the piston lower joint 18 are moved upward, the space between the piston lower joint 18 and the fixed valve outer tube 13 increases, and the pressure decreases. The oil and gas pressure can act on the fixed valve 16, causing it to move upward, thereby opening the circular hole in the fixed valve gasket 15. The oil and gas then pass through the fixed valve outer tube 13 and reach the piston lower joint 18. The oil and gas can then further act on the nail tail 63 of the stop pin 6, causing it to rotate upward, allowing the piston lower component 7 to move downward.

[0063] In addition, a lower joint 14 is connected to the lower end of the fixed valve outer tube 13 . The lower joint 14 can be connected to a lower device, and the lower joint 14 can support a fixed valve gasket 15 in the fixed valve outer tube 13 .

[0064] In addition, the upper end of the outer tube 12 is connected to the upper joint 1. The upper joint 1 can be inserted into the upper end of the outer tube 12, and the plunger tube 2 can be inserted into the lower end of the upper joint 1, so that a steam injection annulus is formed between the outer tube 12 and the plunger tube 2.

[0065] Example 1

[0066] Figure 2 is a schematic diagram of the structure of the outer tube 12. The upper and lower ends of the outer tube 12 are provided with internal threads. The first internal thread 121 and the second internal thread 125 are respectively connected to the upper joint 1 and the fixed valve outer tube 13. In addition, the third thread 124 is used to connect the lower end of the plunger tube 2. There are four steam injection holes 122 in the lower section of the outer tube 12. A steam guide cover 123 is provided above each steam injection hole 122. The steam injection holes 122 are in a normally open state, providing a circulation path for the steam, and can act as an oil drain to a certain extent, reducing the possibility of blowout. Both ends of the steam exhaust part 3 are provided with external threads. The upper and lower ends are respectively connected to the fifth internal thread 274 of the upstream movable valve base 24 and the seventh internal thread 45 on the upper part of the piston connector 4, and four steam exhaust holes are opened in the circumferential direction.

[0067] As shown in Figure 4 , the upstream movable valve base 27 is provided with a fourth internal thread 271 and a fifth internal thread 274, which are used to connect to the sucker rod and the steam exhaust component 3, respectively. The central portion of the upstream movable valve base 27 is divided into two layers. The inner cylinder 272, whose inner diameter matches the cylindrical portion of the upstream movable valve 25, houses the upstream movable valve 25 and limits its axial displacement. The interlayer between the inner cylinder 272 and the outer shell of the upstream movable valve 25 houses the upstream movable valve spring 26. Four flow grooves 273 are defined at the bottom of the upstream movable valve base 27 for oil and gas circulation.

[0068] Referring to Figure 6, the piston connector 4 includes an upper section and a lower section. Four first flow holes 43 (which can be fan-shaped) are provided on the connecting plates of the two sections. A through-hole 42 is provided in the center of the lower section for installing the downstream movable valve 21. The interlayer formed between the through-hole 42 and the downstream movable valve 21 is used to install the downstream movable valve spring 22; a sixth internal thread 41 is provided in the through-hole 42, and a seventh internal thread 45 is provided at the upper end of the upper section for connecting to the exhaust part 3. A first external thread 44 is provided at the lower end for connecting to the piston outer tube 8.
