Abstract
Description
Plug docking module of the recovery tool
[0001] The present invention relates to a plug docking module of a retrieval tool that surrounds a connection port branching from a pipe with a service valve while maintaining the internal pressure of the pipe at a work site, and then inserts a pipe corrosion monitoring device and a plug into the connection port through the service valve or separates the pipe corrosion monitoring device and the plug from the connection port.
[0002] Typically, the recovery tool is configured to insert a pipe corrosion monitoring device into a pipe or detach a pipe corrosion monitoring device from a pipe to monitor the internal corrosion condition of the pipe while maintaining the internal pressure of the pipe at the work site. Here, the work site refers to an oil & gas plant, a power plant, an off-shore plant, a petrochemical plant, an oil refinery plant, etc.
[0003] In addition, the above-mentioned pipe corrosion monitoring device refers to a sensor, coupon, injection, or sampling quill that exclusively measures the internal corrosion status of the pipe. The internal corrosion status of the pipe is monitored by surrounding the connection port branching from the pipe with a service valve while maintaining the internal pressure of the pipe, and then directly or indirectly connecting a recovery tool to the connection port through the service valve.
[0004] Meanwhile, a method of using a recovery tool according to the prior art is schematically explained with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2 . First, as illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2 , a recovery tool (20), a connection port (30), and a service valve (50) are prepared in advance for worker training. The connection port (30) accommodates a pipe corrosion monitoring device (not shown in the drawing) inside the connection port (30) via a plug (40). That is, the pipe corrosion monitoring device is connected to a plug (48) at the connection port (30).
[0005] The plug (48) has a connection opening terminal (44) with a hexagonal outer circumference on the upper side. Next, the service valve (50) surrounds the connection port (30) as shown in Fig. 1 and is threadedly connected to the connection port (30). Next, the recovery tool (20) is positioned on the service valve (50) as shown in Fig. 1. The recovery tool (20) has a housing (5) and a recovery holder (18). The recovery holder (18) is threadedly connected to the service valve (50) through the housing (5).
[0006] Next, the recovery holder (18) moves up and down (D) relative to the housing (5) or rotates (R) in one or the other direction together with the housing (5). As shown in FIG. 2, during the up and down movement (D), the recovery holder (18) is gradually exposed from the housing (5) and inserted into the service valve (50) to face the plug (48). Here, the recovery holder (18) has a collection part (14) at the lowest end. The collection part (14) is supported by a spring (not shown in the drawing) inside the recovery holder (18) and can perform an elastic movement by receiving an external force inside the recovery holder (18).
[0007] When the collecting part (14) comes into contact with the plug (48), and the collecting part (14) is pushed into the inside of the recovery holder (18), and the service valve (50) is not transparent (which is a general situation), the operator of the recovery tool (20) empirically confirms the connection state of the recovery holder (18) and the connection opening terminal (44) by hearing the contact sound of the recovery holder (18) and the connection opening terminal (44) from the outside of the service valve (50) or by detecting the contact shaking of the recovery holder (18) and the connection opening terminal (44).
[0008] At this time, the collecting part (14) is partially in contact with the connection opening terminal (44) of the plug (48). After confirming the connection between the recovery holder (18) and the connection opening terminal (44), the collecting part (14) is helically coupled with the connection opening terminal (44) of the plug (48) during the one-way rotation (R) of the housing (5) and the recovery holder (18). However, it should be noted that the elastic movement of the collecting part (14) within the recovery holder (18) may frequently cause the collecting part (14) to be separated from the plug (48) due to the elastic rebound of the collecting part (14), for example, the collecting part (14), on the plug (48) at the time of the initial contact between the collecting part (14) and the plug (48).
[0009] In addition, the spiral connection of the collection section (14) and the connection opening terminal (44) does not require the connection of the inner surface of the recovery holder (18) and the hexagonal outer surface of the connection opening terminal (44). This is because the inner surface of the recovery holder (18) is formed as a hexagonal surface surrounding the collection section (14), and when connected to the hexagonal outer surface of the connection opening terminal (44), it is firmly wrapped around the hexagonal outer surface of the connection opening terminal (44), thereby preventing the rotation of the recovery holder (18) in one direction of rotation (R) of the housing (5) and the recovery holder (18).
[0010] To prevent this, the worker has to continuously empirically and repeatedly check the connection status of the recovery holder (18) and the connection opening terminal (44) during the operation according to the handling operation maturity of the recovery tool (20), which causes a burden of work. After confirming the spiral connection of the collection part (14) and the connection opening terminal (44), during the other rotation (R) of the housing (5) and the recovery holder (18), the collection part (14) separates the plug (48) and the pipe corrosion monitoring device from the connection port (30).
[0011] After separating the plug (48) and the pipe corrosion monitoring device from the above connection port (30), the recovery holder (18) is moved toward the housing (5) and removed from the inside of the service valve (50).
[0012] The present invention has been devised to solve the conventional problems, and its purpose is to provide a plug docking module of a recovery tool suitable for separating a plug and a pipe corrosion monitoring device from a pipe connection port inside a service valve, thereby minimizing the work burden on the worker by smoothly guiding the plug and connection state during work without checking the plug and connection state during work.
[0013] The plug docking module of the recovery tool according to the present invention comprises: a connecting tubular member located inside a recovery tool housing, so as to surround a connecting port branching from the pipe with a service valve while maintaining the internal pressure of the pipe at a work site, and then insert a pipe corrosion monitoring device and a plug into the connecting port through the service valve or separate the pipe corrosion monitoring device and the plug from the connecting port; a connecting tubular member inserted through the lower side of the connecting tubular member onto the connecting tubular member and rotatably fixed to the connecting tubular member, and raised through the upper side from the connecting tubular member to male-female couple with the connecting tubular member at the upper side; a rotationally driven plate-shaped member located inside the connecting tubular member at the upper side of the connecting tubular member and rotatably fixed to the connecting tubular member; a rotationally driven rod-shaped member penetrating the rotating driven plate-shaped member and fixed to the rotating driven plate-shaped member and passing sequentially through the connecting tubular member and the connecting tubular member; And it includes a cover tubular member that covers the rotation driven plate-shaped member by penetrating the rotation driving rod-shaped member and surrounds the upper side of the connecting tubular member, and the connecting tubular member is characterized in that when the recovery tool housing and the rotation driving rod-shaped member rotate in one direction, the connecting tubular member comes into contact with the plug and rotates relatively to the plug, and when the recovery tool housing and the rotation driving rod-shaped member rotate in the other direction, the connecting tubular member comes into contact with the plug and rotates together with the plug.
[0014] The above recovery tool housing can expose at least one of the connecting tubular member, the connecting tubular member, the rotating driving rod member, and the cover tubular member from the recovery tool housing when the rotational driving rod member moves up and down relative to the recovery tool housing or when the rotational driving rod member and the recovery tool housing rotate, or can recess at least one of the connecting tubular member, the connecting tubular member, the rotating driving rod member, and the cover tubular member into the recovery tool housing.
[0015] The above connecting tubular member can be screw-connected to the lower side of the connecting tubular member while surrounding the rotary drive rod-shaped member together with the lower side of the connecting tubular member.
[0016] The above connecting tubular member may include a connecting body and a connecting protrusion that are sequentially stacked starting from one side of the rotating rod-shaped member toward the other side and formed integrally with each other and surround the rotating rod-shaped member.
[0017] The above connecting body has a relatively flat and curved surface on the outer surface of the connecting body compared to the inner surface, and has an angled surface having 12 or more angles on the inner surface of the connecting body, and a plurality of connecting holes penetrating the outer surface and the inner surface of the connecting body can be used to insert screws into such holes so as to contact the lower side of the connecting tubular member through the screws.
[0018] The above connecting protrusions may be inserted in a finger shape into the upper side of the connecting tubular member while protruding in multiple numbers from the connecting body toward the connecting tubular member and surrounding the lower side of the connecting tubular member.
[0019] The above connecting tubular member surrounds the above rotating drive rod-shaped member, and can be screw-connected with the connecting tubular member on the lower side of the connecting tubular member, and can be pin-connected and screw-connected with the above rotating driven plate-shaped member on the upper side of the connecting tubular member.
[0020] The above connecting tubular member has a connecting lower body on the lower side of the connecting tubular member and a connecting upper body on the upper side of the connecting tubular member, and the connecting lower body and the connecting upper body can be sequentially positioned from the connecting tubular member toward the cover tubular member along the rotational driving rod-shaped member.
[0021] When the above connecting tubular member has a connecting body and a plurality of connecting projections on the connecting body, and the connecting body has a plurality of connecting holes penetrating the outer surface and the inner surface of the connecting body, the connecting lower body may have a plurality of receiving grooves along the periphery of the connecting lower body on the outer surface of the connecting lower body, and the individual receiving grooves of the connecting lower body may face the individual connecting holes of the connecting body.
[0022] When the connecting body inserts a screw into the individual connecting hole of the connecting body, the connecting body and the connecting lower body can slide relative to each other by inserting the screw into the individual receiving groove of the connecting lower body through the individual connecting hole of the connecting body and restricting the movement of the screw inside the individual receiving groove of the connecting lower body when the recovery tool housing and the rotary driving rod-shaped member rotate in one direction or the other direction.
[0023] When the above connecting tubular member has a connecting body and a plurality of connecting projections on the connecting body, and the plurality of connecting projections protrude from the connecting body toward the connecting upper body, the connecting upper body may have a plurality of connecting projections protruding toward the connecting body and positioned between the plurality of connecting projections.
[0024] When the above connecting body has a plurality of connecting holes penetrating the outer surface and the inner surface of the connecting body, and the connecting lower body has a plurality of receiving grooves on the outer surface of the connecting lower body, the individual connecting protrusions can move between two adjacent connecting protrusions in conjunction with the movement of the screws inside the individual receiving grooves of the connecting lower body through one-way or two-way rotation of the recovery tool housing and the rotational driving rod-shaped member when there is a screw connecting the individual connecting holes and the individual receiving grooves of the connecting body and the connecting lower body.
[0025] The above-described connecting upper body may include a catch formed around the pivoting rod-shaped member under the cover tubular member and positioned inside the connecting upper body; a first mounting groove that forms a predetermined space by retracting while slanting a portion of an inner side toward an outer surface of the connecting upper body on the catch, and extends the catch into the predetermined space; a second mounting groove that is positioned on the catch groove in an area occupied by the first mounting groove; and an insertion groove along the periphery of the connecting upper body on the outer surface of the connecting upper body.
[0026] The inner surface of the above part has a fixing hole and an adjustment hole extending from the inner surface of the above part toward the outer surface at a first horizontal level on the catch, and an adjustment hole and a fixing hole extending from the inner surface of the above part toward the outer surface at a second horizontal level, and when the rotational driven plate-shaped member is seated in the first mounting groove on the catch and around the first mounting groove, an elastic application screw and a pressure adjustment screw can be inserted into the fixing hole and the adjustment hole at the first or second horizontal level, respectively, so as to contact the rotational driven plate-shaped member through at least one of the elastic application screw and the pressure adjustment screw.
[0027] The above-mentioned catch can limit the movement of the rotational plate-shaped member on the catch by pin-connecting the rotational plate-shaped member to the second mounting groove at the catch when the rotational plate-shaped member is secured in the first mounting groove on the catch and around the first mounting groove.
[0028] The above fitting jaw can be brought into contact with the cover tubular member on the outer surface of the connection upper body when covering the connection upper body through the cover tubular member on the connection upper body.
[0029] The above-described rotating plate-shaped member may include first and second gear frames having a plurality of gear teeth that are sequentially stacked and bent in different directions; first and second engaging segments that contact the first and second gear frames, respectively, around the first and second gear frames; and a positioning tool that contacts the first or second engaging segment.
[0030] When the above connecting tubular member has a connecting lower body and a connecting upper body that are formed integrally, and the connecting upper body has a catch step along the circumference of the pivoting rod-shaped member inside the connecting upper body on the opposite side of the connecting lower body, the first or second gear frame may include an angled passage hole penetrating the pivoting rod-shaped member; and a ratchet gear positioned on the catch step around the passage hole of the first or second gear frame and having the plurality of gear teeth.
[0031] The first and second gear frames are fixed to the rotational driving rod-shaped member by penetrating the rotational driving rod-shaped member, and can rotate relative to the first and second engaging segments on the engaging jaw or be fixed to the first and second engaging segments when the recovery tool housing and the rotational driving rod-shaped member rotate in one direction or the other direction.
[0032] When the above connecting tubular member has a connecting lower body and a connecting upper body that are formed integrally, and the connecting upper body has a first mounting groove surrounded by a portion of the inner surface of the connecting upper body on the engaging protrusion along the periphery of the rotational driving rod-shaped member inside the connecting upper body on the opposite side of the connecting lower body, the first engaging piece may have a first engaging triangular protrusion on one side of both sides of the first engaging piece, and the second engaging piece may have a second engaging triangular protrusion on the other side of both sides of the second engaging piece.
[0033] The first and second hooking pieces are fitted into the first mounting groove of the connecting upper body, and have a coupling hole in the central region of the first and second hooking pieces, and when the second mounting groove is positioned on the hooking protrusion in the area occupied by the first mounting groove, the coupling hole of the first and second hooking pieces is aligned with the second mounting groove of the hooking protrusion, and a pin positioned in the second mounting groove of the hooking protrusion is fitted into the coupling hole of the first and second hooking pieces so as to rotate around the pin and be fixed to the cover tubular member through the pin.
[0034] The first and second engaging fragments can, when a position manipulation tool contacts the first engaging triangle projection, insert the first engaging triangle projection of the first engaging fragment between two adjacent gear teeth among the plurality of gear teeth in the first gear frame or cause the first engaging triangle projection to be removed from between two adjacent gear teeth among the plurality of gear teeth, and, when a position manipulation tool contacts the second engaging triangle projection, insert the second engaging triangle projection of the second engaging fragment between two adjacent gear teeth among the plurality of gear teeth in the second gear frame or cause the second engaging triangle projection to be removed from between two adjacent gear teeth among the plurality of gear teeth.
[0035] When the above connecting tubular member has a connecting lower body and a connecting upper body that are formed integrally, and the connecting upper body has a first mounting groove surrounded by a portion of the inner surface of the connecting upper body on the engaging groove together with a catch bracket along the periphery of the pivotally driven rod-shaped member inside the connecting upper body on the opposite side of the connecting lower body, the positioning manipulation tool may have a resilient application screw and a pressure adjustment screw in a fixing hole and an adjustment hole that connect the portion of the inner surface and the outer surface of the connecting upper body at a first horizontal level of the portion of the inner surface with reference to the catch bracket when the first and second catch pieces are positioned in the first mounting groove on the engaging groove, and a pressure adjustment screw and an elastic application screw in an adjustment hole and a fixing hole that connect the portion of the inner surface and the outer surface of the connecting upper body at a second horizontal level of the portion of the inner surface with reference to the catch bracket, respectively.
[0036] The elastic application screw and the pressure adjustment screw are formed of a screw portion and a spring portion in the elastic application screw to perform screw engagement with the upper connecting body and spring contact with the first and second engaging segments, and the pressure adjustment screw is formed of a screw portion in the upper connecting body and can perform screw engagement with or without contact with the first and second engaging segments.
[0037] When the first and second engaging segments have first and second engaging triangular projections, respectively, and the first and second gear frames have a plurality of gear teeth, the spring contact of the elastic application screw to the first and second engaging segments and the non-contact of the pressure adjusting screw to the first and second engaging segments cause the first and second engaging triangular projections of the first and second engaging segments to be disengaged from between two adjacent gear teeth among the plurality of gear teeth in the first and second gear frames, and cause the connecting tubular member to rotate relatively with respect to the plug even when in contact with the plug during the one-way rotation of the recovery tool housing and the rotational driving rod-shaped member.
[0038] When the first and second engaging segments have first and second engaging triangular projections, respectively, and the first and second gear frames have a plurality of gear teeth, the spring contact of the elastic application screw to the first and second engaging segments and the contact of the pressure adjusting screw to the first and second engaging segments can cause the first and second engaging triangular projections of the first and second engaging segments to be inserted between two adjacent gear teeth among the plurality of gear teeth in the first and second gear frames, and the first and second engaging triangular projections of the first and second engaging segments can be brought into contact with the plug when the recovery tool housing and the rotary driving rod-shaped member rotate in the other direction, thereby rotating the connecting tubular member together with the plug.
[0039] The above-mentioned pivoting rod-shaped member moves up and down relative to the recovery tool housing or rotates in one direction or the other direction together with the recovery tool housing, has a relatively flat curved surface at both edge regions of the pivoting rod-shaped member compared to a central region of the pivoting rod-shaped member, has a smaller diameter at one edge region surrounded by the connecting tubular member than at the other edge region, and may sequentially have an angled fixing surface and a protruding movement prevention protrusion in the central region of the pivoting rod-shaped member along a direction from the one edge region toward the other edge region.
[0040] When the above connecting tubular member has a connecting lower body and a connecting upper body that are formed integrally, and the connecting upper body sequentially stacks the first and second gear frames of the rotational driven plate-shaped member inside the connecting upper body on the opposite side of the connecting lower body, the fixing surface of the rotational driving rod-shaped member can be firmly fitted into the passage holes of the first and second gear frames when the one edge region of the rotational driving rod-shaped member is inserted into the connecting tubular member and the connecting tubular member, thereby being fixed to the first and second gear frames.
[0041] The movement prevention step of the above-mentioned pivoting rod-shaped member is positioned around the passage hole of the second gear frame on the second gear frame, covers the passage hole of the second gear frame, and presses the second gear frame, and the fixed surface of the above-mentioned pivoting rod-shaped member and the passage holes of the first and second gear frames may have the same circumferential shape.
[0042] When the above connecting tubular member has a connecting lower body and a connecting upper body that are formed integrally, the cover tubular member may include a cover body formed in the shape of a bottle cap to cover the connecting upper body; a finishing groove positioned around the rotating driving rod-shaped member by penetrating the rotating driving rod-shaped member in a central region of the ceiling of the cover body; a position fixing groove positioned in an edge region of the ceiling of the cover body; and a positioning hole in a side wall of the cover body so as to be aligned with an adjustment hole of the connecting upper body around the outer surface of the connecting tubular member.
[0043] When the above connecting upper body has a fitting jaw along the circumference of the connecting upper body on the outer surface of the above connecting upper body, and the first and second gear frames and the first and second engaging pieces of the rotating driven plate-shaped member are seated on the engaging jaw of the connecting upper body on the opposite side of the above connecting lower body, the above finishing groove of the above cover body can accommodate a movement prevention jaw of the rotating driving rod-shaped member positioned on the second gear frame when the rotating driving rod-shaped member penetrates the first and second gear frames.
[0044] The position fixing groove of the cover body receives a pin that starts from the second mounting groove of the catch and passes through the joining holes of the first and second catch pieces, and the position determining hole of the cover body can insert a pressure adjusting screw that contacts or does not contact the first and second catch pieces together with the adjustment hole of the connecting upper body.
[0045] The plug docking module of the recovery tool according to the present invention is:
[0046] From one side of the rotary drive rod-shaped member toward the other side, a connecting tubular member, a connecting tubular member, a rotary driven plate-shaped member, and a cover tubular member are sequentially inserted into the rotary drive rod-shaped member, thereby connecting the connecting tubular member, the connecting tubular member, the rotary driven plate-shaped member, and the cover tubular member to each other.
[0047] When the recovery tool housing and the rotary drive rod-shaped member rotate in one direction, the connecting tubular member rotates relatively to the plug when in contact with the plug, and when the recovery tool housing and the rotary drive rod-shaped member rotate in the other direction, the connecting tubular member rotates together with the plug by contacting the plug.
[0048] In order to separate the plug and the pipe corrosion monitoring device from the pipe connection port inside the service valve, the plug and connection status can be smoothly guided during work without checking the plug and connection status during work, thereby minimizing the work burden on the worker.

[0071] In addition, Fig. 16 is an image schematically showing an enlarged view of the coupling relationship between the rotating follower plate-shaped member and the rotating drive rod-shaped member in the plug docking module of Fig. 3.
[0072] Referring to FIGS. 3 to 16, a plug docking module (230) of a retrieval tool (250) according to the present invention is configured to surround a connection port (30 of FIG. 1 or FIG. 2) branching from a pipe with a service valve (50 of FIG. 1) while maintaining the internal pressure of the pipe (not shown in the drawing) at a work site, and then insert a pipe corrosion monitoring device (not shown in the drawing) and a plug (48) into the connection port (30) through the service valve (50) or separate the pipe corrosion monitoring device and the plug (48) from the connection port (30).
[0073] In general terms, the plug docking module (230) of the above recovery tool (250) includes a connecting tubular member (70), a connecting tubular member (120), a rotating follower plate-shaped member (180), a rotating driving rod-shaped member (200), and a cover tubular member (220), as shown in FIGS. 3 to 5. The connecting tubular member (70) is located inside the recovery tool housing (240), as shown in FIG. 1.
[0074] The above connecting tubular member (120), as shown in FIGS. 3 to 5 and FIGS. 10 and 11, is inserted into the connecting tubular member (70) through the lower side, is rotatably fixed to the connecting tubular member (70), and is raised from the connecting tubular member (70) through the upper side to be male-female coupled with the connecting tubular member (70) at the upper side.
[0075] The above-mentioned rotational driven plate-shaped member (180) is positioned inside the connecting tubular member (120) on the upper side of the connecting tubular member (120), as shown in FIGS. 3 to 5 and FIG. 13, and is rotationally fixed to the connecting tubular member (120). The above-mentioned rotational driving rod-shaped member (200) is fixed to the rotating driven plate-shaped member (180) by penetrating the rotating driven plate-shaped member (180), as shown in FIGS. 3 to 5 and FIG. 14, and passes through the connecting tubular member (120) and the connecting tubular member (70) in sequence.
[0076] The above-mentioned cover tubular member (220) covers the rotation driven plate-shaped member (180) by penetrating the rotation driven rod-shaped member (200) as shown in FIGS. 3 to 5 and FIGS. 15 and surrounds the upper side of the connecting tubular member (120). Here, considering FIGS. 3 to 5 and FIGS. 10 to 14, the connecting tubular member (70) rotates relatively to the plug (48) even when it comes into contact with the plug (48) when the recovery tool housing (240) and the rotation driven rod-shaped member (200) rotate in one direction, and rotates together with the plug (48) when the recovery tool housing (240) and the rotation driven rod-shaped member (200) rotate in the other direction.
[0077] When examined in more detail, the recovery tool housing (240), when the relative up-and-down movement (D1) of the rotational driving rod-shaped member (200) with respect to the recovery tool housing (240) or when the rotational driving rod-shaped member (200) and the recovery tool housing (240) are rotated (R1 or R2), exposes at least one of the connecting tubular member (70), the connecting tubular member (120), the rotational driving rod-shaped member (200), and the cover tubular member (220) from the recovery tool housing (240), or recesses at least one of the connecting tubular member (70), the connecting tubular member (120), the rotational driving rod-shaped member (200), and the cover tubular member (220) into the recovery tool housing (240).
