Abstract
Description
[0001] CONSTRUCTION SITE ELECTRICAL PANEL WITH INTEGRATED TILTABLE SUPPORT
[0002] DESCRIPTION
[0003] The present patent concerns electrical panels for construction sites, and in particular it concerns a new electrical panel for construction sites with an integrated tiltable support.
[0004] In the infrastructure of construction sites, in addition to the construction material storage yards, the tool and machinery storage yards, the protection and safety equipment, one or more electrical panels are also installed to supply power to the machinery, the workers' electrical tools, the lighting system, etc. of the construction site.
[0005] Electrical panels for construction sites are connected to the electrical distribution network and supply power to the entire construction site.
[0006] Electrical panels for construction sites comprise a box containing electrical components such as residual-current circuit breakers, thermal magnetic circuit breakers, industrial sockets, Schuko sockets, etc., connection terminals and other accessories.
[0007] The electrical panel is substantially a box, usually parallelepiped in shape, designed to contain and enclose all of the above-mentioned equipment and suited to be carried, installed, moved and removed as a single unit, with all said equipment already installed therein.
[0008] The electrical panel, equipped as specified above, can be installed in the construction site by attaching it to a stable or temporary pole, by fixing it to a wall or pre-existing structure, or by placing it on the ground.
[0009] The known electrical panels for construction sites have, on their rear side, special hooks, elements or parts ready to be used for fixing the electrical panel to a pole, wall or pre-existing structure.
[0010] Some electrical panels for construction sites are equipped with a simple support that keeps them raised off the ground.
[0011] Said electrical panels for construction sites with support have several drawbacks.
[0012] In case of installation on a pole, wall or structure, said support is unnecessary and cumbersome.
[0013] The known boxes are unstable when the connection plugs are applied thereto. The subject of the present patent is a new electrical panel for construction sites.
[0014] It is an object of the present invention to provide a new electrical panel that can be installed both on a pole or wall or vertical structure and on the ground in a vertical or preferably inclined position.
[0015] It is another object of the present invention to provide a new electrical panel for construction sites that is equipped with a device or support or elements which are suitable for resting it on the ground and do not increase the overall dimensions of the electrical panel itself when they are not used.
[0016] It is another object of the present invention to provide a new electrical panel for construction sites that is equipped with a device or support or elements which are suitable for resting it on the ground and are easy to open for use. These and other direct and complementary objects are achieved by the new electrical panel with integrated support, comprising a lockable panel or mobile door externally hinged to the rear side of the box.
[0017] The electrical panel is box-shaped and contains all the devices or elements of an electrical panel such as, for example, switches, sockets, thermal magnetic switches, terminal boards, etc.
[0018] On the front side there are various types of sockets and switches and a preferably transparent door is also hinged thereto to protect and allow access to said switches.
[0019] A flat element or door or movable panel is hinged horizontally to the closed rear side, which is also equipped with elements, parts, devices intended to be used to apply and attach said box to a pole, wall or other vertical structure. Said door or movable panel is designed to open at a predetermined angle to ensure the stability of the electrical panel in a tilted position.
[0020] In this way, the application of industrial plugs to the front sockets does not cause the correctly tilted electrical panel to fall down.
[0021] The characteristics of the new electrical panel are better clarified in the following description, making reference to the drawings, which are attached by way of non-limiting example.
[0022] Figure la shows a front view of the new electrical panel (C) with the related sockets (P) for the insertion of plugs, the transparent door (T) protecting the switches, while Figure lb shows a side view with the tiltable panel or door (I) closed, and Figure 1c shows a rear view of the electrical panel (C) with the panel or door (I) closed.
[0023] Figure 2 shows the electrical panel (C) with the panel or door (I) open in a tilted position.
[0024] Figure 3 shows a schematic view of the electrical panel (C) equipped with said panel or door (I). Said tiltable panel (I) is provided with ribs (In) and holes or coupling devices (la). The electrical panel (C) includes an upper handle (M) to be used for transporting it and areas for fixing it to the wall.
[0025] Figure 4 shows a detail of the rear view of the electrical panel (C), where it is possible to observe the movement levers (Im) and the ribs (In) on the tiltable panel (I). The new electrical panel for construction sites made up as described above offers considerable advantages.
[0026] The new electrical panel (C) can be installed on a vertical structure or preferably placed on the ground in a tilted position by simply rotating and opening the tiltable rear panel (I). These are the schematic outlines that are sufficient for the expert in the art to carry out the invention, consequently, on practical application variants may be obtained that do not affect the substance of the innovative concept introduced herewith.
[0027] Therefore, with reference to the above description and the attached drawings, the following claims are made.
