Abstract
Description
Elevator governor cover and elevator governor
[0001] The present invention relates to a cover for covering an elevator governor, and to an elevator governor equipped with a cover.
[0002] Elevator systems are equipped with a speed governor and an emergency stop device to bring a car to an emergency stop if it experiences a predetermined overspeed. The car and the speed governor are connected by a speed governor rope, and when an overspeed state is detected, the speed governor restrains the speed governor rope, activating the car's emergency stop device and bringing the car to an emergency stop.
[0003] BACKGROUND ART As a conventional technique relating to an elevator governor, the technique described in Patent Document 1 is known.
[0004] In this conventional technology, for the safety of technicians during maintenance and inspection work, a cover molded in an approximately inverted L shape is attached to the top of the frame on which the governor pulley is mounted, so as to cover the rotating surface of the pulley.
[0005] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-72353
[0006] In the above-mentioned conventional technology, it is difficult to ensure the safety of the technicians without reducing work efficiency in the narrow space of a space-saving elevator. Furthermore, when performing maintenance or inspecting the speed governor or installing a cover on the speed governor, it may be necessary to remove or move the governor's accessories, such as the speed governor rope and the wiring to the speed governor's overspeed detection switch. In this case, it becomes difficult to ensure the technicians' work efficiency.
[0007] Therefore, the present invention provides a cover for an elevator governor that can improve work safety without impairing the efficiency of work related to the governor, and an elevator governor that is covered by the cover.
[0008] In order to solve the above problems, the speed governor cover of the present invention is a housing for covering an elevator governor. This speed governor cover has a first cover that covers the maintenance face, both left and right side faces, and the top face of the speed governor, and a second cover that covers the back side of the maintenance face of the speed governor. The first cover has multiple cover sections that are divided into left and right. The multiple cover sections and the second cover form a detachable housing.
[0009] In order to solve the above problems, the speed governor for an elevator according to the present invention is covered by a cover, and the cover is the speed governor cover according to the present invention.
[0010] To solve the above problems, the elevator governor of the present invention includes a cover and a bottom plate to which the cover is attached. The bottom plate is divided into two pieces, one on the left and one on the right of the governor pulley. Furthermore, the bottom plate is fixed to the bottom of the governor by a notch without interfering with the governor pulley and governor rope.
[0011] According to the present invention, the safety of work related to an elevator governor can be improved without impairing the efficiency of the work.
[0012] Problems, configurations, and effects other than those described above will become apparent from the following description of the embodiments.

FIG. 2 is a plan view showing the layout of equipment in a machine room 30 according to an embodiment. FIG. 3 is an assembly diagram of a cover 400 of a governor 8 according to an embodiment. FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing the appearance of the cover 400 attached to the governor 8. FIG. 5 is an assembly diagram of the cover 400 in a state in which wiring 91 is laid that is different from that in FIG. 3. FIG. 6 is a perspective view showing the appearance of the cover 400 attached to the governor 8 in the state in which wiring 91 is laid as shown in FIG. 5. FIG. 7 is an assembly diagram of a bottom plate of the governor 8. FIG. 8 is a perspective view showing the appearance of a bottom plate 86 attached to the governor 8.
[0014] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the following drawings. In each drawing, the same reference numerals indicate the same components or components having similar functions.
[0015] FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of an elevator system according to an embodiment of the present invention.
[0016] As shown in Figure 1, a car 3 and a counterweight 4 are connected to one end and the other end of a main rope 2, respectively. The main rope 2 is wound around a sheave 51 and a direction-changing pulley 52 of a hoisting machine 50. As a result, the car 3 and the counterweight 4 are suspended within the hoistway 1.
[0017] The motor provided in the hoisting machine 50 is driven and controlled by the elevator control device 100, and when the sheave 51 rotates, the main rope 2 is driven by the sheave 51. As a result, the car 3 and the counterweight 4 move in opposite directions up and down within the hoistway 1. The car 3 moves while being guided by a car guide rail 5, and the counterweight 4 also moves while being guided by a counterweight guide rail (not shown).
[0018] In this embodiment, a three-phase synchronous motor such as a permanent magnet synchronous motor is used as the motor, and the motor is driven by three-phase AC power supplied from elevator control device 100 via power cable 300.
[0019] The hoisting machine 50 includes an electromagnetic brake 53. When stopping the car 3, the electromagnetic brake 53 brakes the rotation of the hoisting machine 50. As the electromagnetic brake 53, for example, a disk-type electromagnetic brake is applied.
[0020] An emergency stop device 11 is provided below the car 3. The emergency stop device 11 is activated when the car 3 is traveling at an excessive speed, clamping the guide rail 5 between a pair of brakes (not shown), and decelerating the car 3 to an emergency stop by the frictional force acting between the brakes and the guide rail 5.
[0021] A hoisting machine 50 and an elevator control device 100 are installed in a machine room 30 provided above the hoistway 1, and a governor 8 is also installed to operate an emergency stop device 11. The hoisting machine 50 is mounted and fixed on a machine beam 60. An endless governor rope 10 is wound around the pulley of the governor 8. The governor rope 10 is also wound around a tension pulley 9 located at the bottom of the hoistway 1 and which applies tension to the governor rope 10.
[0022] The governor rope 10 is engaged with the safety device 11 via an operating mechanism 12. Therefore, the governor rope 10 is driven by the movement of the car 3, causing the pulley of the governor 8 to rotate. The governor 8 is equipped with a gripping mechanism that grips the governor rope 10 and stops the movement of the governor rope 10 when the descent speed of the car 3 exceeds a predetermined value (for example, a speed not exceeding 1.4 times the rated speed). The governor 8 is equipped with a pendulum mechanism that rotates together with the pulley. The pendulum mechanism is driven by centrifugal force, and operates the gripping mechanism when the descent speed of the car 3 exceeds a predetermined value.
[0023] When the governor 8 stops the movement of the governor rope 10, the operating mechanism 12, which is engaged with the governor rope 10, stops moving together with the governor rope 10. At this time, the car 3 continues to descend. Therefore, the operating mechanism 12 moves upward relative to the car 3. This causes the operating mechanism 12 to operate and activate the emergency stop device 11. Therefore, the car 3 is decelerated and comes to an emergency stop.
[0024] The governor 8 is equipped with an overspeed detection switch (not shown). The overspeed detection switch is operated by a pendulum mechanism when the speed of the car 3 exceeds a predetermined overspeed (for example, a speed not exceeding 1.3 times the rated speed). When operated by the pendulum mechanism, the overspeed detection switch sends an overspeed detection signal to the elevator control device 100. Upon receiving the overspeed detection signal, the elevator control device 100 cuts off the power supply to the hoisting machine 50 and the power supply to the control device that controls the hoisting machine 50. This stops the hoisting machine 50 and activates the electromagnetic brake 53, bringing the car 3 to an emergency stop. The elevator control device 100 normally controls the operation of the car 3 based on the rotational position detection signal of the motor encoder 201.
[0025] As will be described later, in this embodiment, the governor 8 is covered by a box-shaped cover made of a single housing, thereby ensuring the safety of maintenance engineers working inside the machine room 30.
[0026] FIG. 2 is a plan view showing the layout of devices in the machine room 30 of the embodiment.
[0027] The main rope 2 (FIG. 1) is not shown in Fig. 2. Furthermore, since the layout of each device is common, detailed description of the illustrated layout will be omitted.
[0028] As shown in Fig. 2, the governor 8 is covered by a box-shaped cover 400. In the figure, the side of the governor 8 indicated by arrow A is the maintenance side where parts to be visually inspected and parts to which jigs are attached during maintenance and inspection work on the governor 8 are located. Within the machine room 30, a work space is provided on the maintenance side of the governor 8. Note that on the back side of the maintenance side of the governor 8, the hoisting machine 50 and the machine beam 60 are adjacent, and no work space is provided.
[0029] As will be described later, in this embodiment, the cover portion of the cover 400 that covers the maintenance surface, both left and right side surfaces, and the top surface of the governor 8 is divided into multiple sections in the left-right direction (the up-down direction in FIG. 2 ) along the maintenance surface of the upright governor 8. This makes it possible to easily remove and install this cover portion even in a narrow work space. Therefore, even if the governor 8 is covered by the cover 400, a decrease in work efficiency during maintenance and inspection of the governor 8 is suppressed.
[0030] 3 is an assembly drawing of the cover 400 showing the positional relationship of the plurality of cover portions 401 to 403 that constitute the cover 400 of the speed governor 8 in this embodiment. In FIG. 3, the speed governor 8 is also shown in order to show the positional relationship between the plurality of cover portions 401 to 403 and the speed governor 8.
[0031] As shown in Figure 3, cover 400 is made up of multiple (three in Figure 3) cover portions (401, 402, 403). The multiple cover portions are detachably connected to one another by screw fastening or the like at fastening portions F. Furthermore, each cover portion is detachably fixed to a cover mounting portion 86A provided on a bottom plate 86 of governor 8 that stands on base 93 by screw fastening or the like at fastening portions F.
[0032] Cover part 401 covers the maintenance surface of governor 8 indicated by arrow A, as well as the top surface and one side surface (right side in FIG. 3 ) of governor 8. Cover part 402 covers the other side surface (left side in FIG. 3 ) of governor 8. Cover part 403 covers the back side of the maintenance surface of governor 8.
[0033] The multiple (two in FIG. 3 ) cover portions (401, 402) constitute a maintenance side cover that is removed during maintenance and inspection of the governor 8. That is, in this embodiment, the maintenance side cover is divided into cover portion 401 and cover portion 402 in the left-right direction along the maintenance side of the upright governor 8. This makes it possible to easily remove and attach the maintenance side cover portion even in the narrow working space inside the machine room 30.
[0034] Removing the cover parts 401 and 402 exposes the governor pulley 81, the governor rope 82 wound around the governor pulley 81, the gripping mechanism 84 for the governor rope 82 (corresponding to "10" in FIG. 1), the overspeed detection switch 85, and the pendulum mechanism (not shown) attached to the governor pulley 81 and rotating together with the governor pulley 81. This allows maintenance and inspection of the governor 8.
[0035] The top surface of cover 401 has a notch 401A. Wiring 91 connected to overspeed detection switch 85 provided on the upper part of frame 83 of governor 8 passes through this notch 401A. Wiring 91 passes through piping 92 laid on the maintenance side in machine room 30 (FIGS. 1 and 2), and is connected to elevator control device 100 (FIGS. 1 and 2).
[0036] The cover portion 401 is made up of flat portions that cover the maintenance face, top face, and one side face (the right side face in FIG. 3 ) of the governor 8. The portion of the flat portion that covers the maintenance face that continues to the cutout 401A can pass between the maintenance face and the wiring 91 and piping 92. This allows the cover portion 401 to be attached and removed without removing the wiring 91 and piping 92. This means that maintenance and inspection of the governor 8 can be performed without removing the wiring 91 and piping 92. Furthermore, the box-shaped cover 400 can be assembled from the cover portions 401 to 403 without removing the wiring 91 and piping 92.
[0037] In this embodiment, cover portion 403 is made of a single member without being divided, and constitutes a back cover that covers the side behind the maintenance surface of governor 8. In the depth direction from the maintenance surface, the width Wb of the side portion of cover portion 403 is smaller than the width Wa of each of the side portions of cover portion 401 and cover portion 402 (Wb<Wa). This makes it easy to attach and remove cover portion 403 even on the side behind the maintenance surface.
[0038] FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing the appearance of a cover 400 attached to the governor 8. As shown in FIG.
[0039] 4, the cover 400 substantially covers the entire speed governor 8. This prevents a maintenance technician from unintentionally coming into contact with the speed governor 8 while working in the machine room, thereby improving the safety of maintenance and inspection work.
[0040] In cover 400 assembled from cover sections 401 to 403, the notch ("401A" in FIG. 3) in the top surface of cover section 401 is covered by protrusion 403A on the top surface of cover section 403. Therefore, even if a notch is provided through which wiring 91 passes, maintenance engineers are prevented from coming into contact with governor 8. This improves the safety of maintenance and inspection work.
[0041] The notch ("401A" in FIG. 3) may be covered with a plate-like member. In this embodiment, when the cover 400 is assembled, the notch is covered by the protrusion 403A, so that the notch can be covered and safety can be improved without increasing the number of parts and without the need for an operation to cover the notch.
[0042] FIG. 5 is an assembly diagram of the cover 400 showing the positional relationship of the cover parts 401 to 403 in a state where the wiring 91 is laid out differently from that shown in FIG.
[0043] As shown in FIG. 5, the wiring 91 is connected to the elevator control device 100 (FIGS. 1 and 2) through a pipe 92 laid on the back side of the maintenance surface in the machine room 30 (FIGS. 1 and 2).
[0044] As described above ( FIG. 3 ), the width Wb of the side surface of the cover unit 403 in the depth direction from the maintenance surface is smaller than the width Wa of each of the side surfaces of the cover unit 401 and the cover unit 402 (Wb<Wa). Therefore, the cover unit 403 can pass between the rear surface of the maintenance surface and the wiring 91 and piping 92. Therefore, the cover unit 403 can be attached and removed without removing the wiring 91 and piping 92. Therefore, the box-shaped cover 400 can be assembled from the cover units 401 to 403 without removing the wiring 91 and piping 92.
[0045] Note that both side surfaces of governor 8 are substantially entirely covered by the side surfaces of cover portion 401 and cover portion 402. Therefore, width Wb of the side surface of cover portion 403 can be set to any size smaller than Wa, as long as fastening portion F can be provided. Therefore, Wb can be set to a size that allows cover portion 403 to pass between wiring 91 and piping 92 and governor 8.
[0046] FIG. 6 is a perspective view showing the appearance of the cover 400 attached to the governor 8 in the state in which the wiring 91 shown in FIG. 5 is laid.
[0047] 6, even when the wiring 91 and the piping 92 are laid on the back side, the cover 400 substantially covers the entire governor 8. Therefore, the safety of maintenance and inspection work is improved.
[0048] 6, even when the wiring 91 and the piping 92 are laid on the back surface side, in the cover 400 assembled from the cover parts 401 to 403, the notch in the upper surface of the cover part 401 ("401A" in FIG. 3) is blocked by the protrusion 403A on the upper surface of the cover part 403. Therefore, even if a notch through which the wiring 91 passes is provided, the safety of the maintenance and inspection work is improved.
[0049] FIG. 7 is an assembly diagram of the bottom plates showing the positional relationship between the two bottom plates 86 of the governor 8.
[0050] The bottom plate 86 is divided into two parts located on the left and right sides of the rotation plane of the governor pulley 81, which is rotatably supported by the frame 83. The frame 83 is fixed to a base 93 with bolts and nuts at bolt fastening portions 94 and stands on the base 93.
[0051] Each bottom plate 86 has a flat surface with cutouts including cutouts 86B and 86C to prevent interference with the governor pulley 81 and governor rope 82, and a cover mounting portion 86A perpendicular to the flat surface. The cover mounting portions 86A are provided on the maintenance side and the back side. A cover portion 401 ( FIG. 3 ) is detachably fixed to the cover mounting portion 86A on the maintenance side. A cover portion 403 ( FIG. 3 ) is detachably fixed to the cover mounting portion 86A on the back side.
[0052] The notch has a notch portion 86B through which the lower portion 83A of the frame 83 passes and a notch portion 86C through which the shaft of the bolt passes.
[0053] Each bottom plate 86 has a notch, so that it can be installed on the bottom of the frame from above the governor 8, as shown by the arrow in the figure, without removing the governor rope 82. Therefore, even in a narrow work space, the bottom plate 86 for attaching the cover 400 can be installed without impairing work efficiency.
[0054] FIG. 8 is a perspective view showing the appearance of the bottom plate 86 attached to the governor 8.
[0055] 8, the notch 86C (FIG. 7) overlaps with the bolt fastening portion 94. Therefore, the bottom plate 86 is fixed to the bottom of the frame 83 by threading a nut onto a bolt that passes through the notch 86C.
[0056] When fixing the bottom plate 86, the nuts are loosened beforehand, and the bolt shafts are fitted into the cutouts 86C (FIG. 7) of the bottom plate 86 between the nuts and the bottom of the frame 83, and then the nuts are tightened. This allows the bottom plate 86 to be attached with the governor 8 essentially installed.
[0057] According to the above embodiment, the maintenance surface cover that covers the maintenance surface, both left and right side surfaces, and the top surface of the governor 8 has a plurality of cover sections 401, 402 that are divided into left and right halves, and the plurality of cover sections 401, 402 and cover section 403 that serves as the back surface cover are detachably configured to form cover 400, which is a housing. This allows the cover to be attached and removed without impairing work efficiency, even in a narrow work space.
[0058] In the above embodiment, the maintenance side cover is divided into two cover parts 401 and 402, and the rear side cover is composed of a single, undivided cover part 403. In other words, the cover 400 has the minimum number of cover parts that can maintain the effects of the above embodiment. Therefore, the time required to attach and remove the cover is suppressed.
[0059] In the above embodiment, the wiring 91 connected to the overspeed detection switch 85 extends from the top surface of the cover 400 to the outside of the governor 8, but this is not limiting and the wiring 91 may extend from the cover surface that covers the maintenance surface or side surface of the governor 8. In this case, these cover surfaces have a cutout.
[0060] In the above embodiment, the governor 8 has a bottom plate 86 to which the cover 400 is attached, and this bottom plate 86 is divided into two pieces, one on the left and one on the right of the governor pulley, and the bottom plate is fixed to the bottom of the governor 8 by the notch without interfering with the governor pulley 81 and the governor rope 82 ( FIG. 3 ). This allows the bottom plate to be attached without removing the governor pulley 81 or the governor rope 82. Therefore, the bottom plate can be attached and removed without impairing work efficiency, even in a narrow work space.
[0061] The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, but includes various modifications. For example, the above-described embodiments have been described in detail to clearly explain the present invention, and the present invention is not necessarily limited to those including all of the described configurations. Furthermore, it is possible to add, delete, or replace part of the configuration of the embodiment with other configurations.
[0062] For example, the elevator system may be a so-called machine room-less elevator in which the hoisting machine and elevator control device are installed inside the elevator shaft. In this case, the maintenance surface of the governor faces the car. Furthermore, maintenance and inspection work on the governor is performed, for example, on the car.
