Abstract
Description
Dental implant and dental implant assembly including the same
[0001] The present invention relates to a dental implant and a dental implant assembly including the same.
[0002] Dental implants (hereinafter referred to simply as “implants”) inserted into the alveolar bone have been used for a long time, and implants currently in general use are made of titanium, titanium alloy, or ceramic materials with excellent biocompatibility.
[0003] Implants must not only be able to functionally perform the role of actual teeth, but must also be manufactured to properly distribute the load applied to the teeth so that they can be used for as long as actual teeth.
[0004] Implants placed in the alveolar bone are classified into external connection and internal connection types depending on the form of connection with the abutment. The external connection type has the advantage of the implant being relatively strong when inserted into the bone, but has the disadvantage of causing bone resorption at the boundary because the gap between the implant and the abutment is wide in the early stages after placement, which increases the likelihood of bacteria colonizing the implant.
[0005] Therefore, the internal connection method is mainly used recently. In the internal connection method, the lower part of the abutment is connected, and a connection structure including a hexagon part, etc. is formed inside the implant, and the upper part of the connection structure where the abutment is seated is formed at an angle. The internal connection method has the advantage of a high implant success rate by minimizing initial bone resorption by eliminating a space where bacteria can inhabit. However, it has the disadvantage of a relatively high possibility of fracture of the implant inserted into the bone due to the structural limitation caused by the abutment entering the inside of the implant.
[0006] Fracture results from fatigue. Fatigue refers to the phenomenon in which materials and structures are subjected to repeated stress, resulting in a decrease in strength and eventual destruction as the number of repetitions increases. Dental implants, as structures designed to replace lost teeth, are subjected to repeated stresses from masticatory movements, and therefore the possibility of fatigue fracture (commonly referred to as "fatigue fracture") cannot be ruled out.
[0007] During masticatory movements, the abutment is subjected to not only vertical masticatory forces oriented along the implant's axis, but also a complex combination of horizontal masticatory forces perpendicular to the implant's axis. The lower portion of the abutment, bonded to the implant's interior, can periodically apply tensile stress to the implant's internal structure, potentially leading to fatigue failure in the form of longitudinal or transverse fractures.
[0008] Therefore, an internal structure of the implant that is easy to distribute stress to overcome the cause of fatigue fracture and to use the implant stably for a long period of time is required.
[0009] An object of the present invention is to provide a dental implant capable of securing high rigidity by including an internal groove having an internal structure and dimensions that facilitate stress distribution, and a dental implant assembly including the same.
[0010] The present invention relates to a dental implant for forming an artificial tooth root by being implanted in an alveolar bone according to a rotational motion about an axis, wherein the implant comprises an internal groove formed on the inner side of an upper portion to enable an abutment for supporting a prosthesis to be coupled, and an external thread formed with threads from the upper end to the lower end of an outer circumference to enable implantation in the alveolar bone, wherein the internal groove comprises an upper inclined portion located at an upper entrance of the implant and having a circular cross-section but having an inner diameter that narrows downward, a polygonal portion formed on a lower side of the upper inclined portion and having a polygonal cross-section, a circular boring portion formed on a lower side of the polygonal portion and having a diameter larger than a diameter of a circle circumscribed in the polygonal portion, a circular vertical portion formed on a lower side of the boring portion, and an internal thread formed on a lower side of the circular vertical portion and having a smaller diameter than a circle inscribed in the polygonal portion, with respect to the axis, for coupling an abutment, and wherein the upper inclined portion of the internal groove with respect to the axis has a diameter smaller than a diameter of a circle for coupling the polygonal portion. The tilt angle may be characterized as being set to 14° to 16°.
[0011] In the present invention, the dental implant may be characterized in that the ratio of the wall thickness of the circular vertical portion perpendicular to the axis to the maximum outer diameter of the implant is set to 0.15 to 0.3.

[0013] In the present invention, it may be a dental implant characterized in that the ratio of the depth from the top of the upper inclined portion to the bottom of the circular vertical portion to the depth from the top of the upper inclined portion to the bottom of the internal screw portion is set to 0.5 to 0.7.
[0014] In the present invention, it may be a dental implant characterized in that the depth from the uppermost end of the upper inclined portion to the lowermost end of the internal screw portion is set to 4 mm to 7 mm.
[0015] In the present invention, it may be a dental implant characterized in that the depth from the uppermost end of the upper inclined portion to the lowermost end of the circular vertical portion is set to 3 mm to 5 mm.
[0016] In the present invention, the external screw portion may be a dental implant characterized in that it includes an external upper screw thread section machined to form a first screw thread of a first height and a first groove of a first depth by a first byte from the upper end of the outer peripheral surface of the implant to a certain section downward, and an external lower screw thread section machined to form a second screw thread of a second height and a second groove of a second depth by a second byte having a different machined surface shape and width from the first byte downward from the external upper screw thread section, and the first height of the first screw thread is formed lower than the second height of the second screw thread, and the first depth of the first groove is formed shallower than the second depth of the second groove.
[0017] In the present invention, it may be a dental implant characterized in that the pitch and the top width of the screw threads in the external upper screw thread section and the external lower screw thread section are formed to be the same.
[0018] In the present invention, the first bone and the second bone may be a dental implant characterized in that they include a first curved portion extending from the upper portion of the bone to the side and a second curved portion extending from the side of the bone to the lower portion.
[0019] In the present invention, the dental implant may be characterized in that the curvature of the first curved portion is greater than the curvature of the second curved portion.
[0020] In the present invention, the first bone and the second bone may be a dental implant characterized in that they are formed asymmetrically up and down based on an imaginary line that is perpendicular to the axis and passes through the center of the width of the bone.
[0021] In the present invention, a dental implant may be provided, characterized in that a cutting edge is formed by being partially cut at the lower end of the outer surface of the implant, and the cutting edge includes a reverse helical section formed in a direction opposite to the helical direction of the screw thread and a helical section formed in the helical direction of the screw thread.
[0022] The present invention relates to a dental implant assembly comprising a dental implant that is implanted in an alveolar bone to form an artificial tooth root according to a rotational motion about an axis, and an abutment that is coupled to the dental implant to support a prosthesis and has an internally extending screw insertion hole formed from the top to the bottom and into which a screw is inserted, wherein the dental implant comprises an internal groove formed on the inner side of the upper side to enable coupling of the abutment for supporting the prosthesis and an external screw portion having screw threads formed from the top to the bottom of the outer circumference to enable implantation in the alveolar bone, and wherein the internal groove comprises: an upper inclined portion located at the upper entrance of the implant and having a circular cross-section but having an inner diameter that narrows downward; a polygonal portion formed on the lower side of the upper inclined portion and having a polygonal cross-section; a circular boring portion formed on the lower side of the polygonal portion and having a diameter larger than the diameter of a circle circumscribed to the polygon of the polygonal portion; a circular vertical portion formed on the lower side of the boring portion; and a circular vertical portion formed on the lower side of the circular vertical portion and having the following: It may be characterized in that it includes an internal thread formed with a screw thread for abutment coupling having a diameter smaller than a circle inscribed in the polygon of the polygon, and the angle of inclination of the upper slope of the internal groove with respect to the axis is set to 14° to 16°.
[0023] In the present invention, the abutment includes an upper portion protruding outward from the dental implant to which a prosthesis is attached, and a lower portion disposed below the upper portion and inserted into the internal groove, and the abutment may further include a holding portion disposed at the lower end of the lower portion and configured to be elastically deformed when the abutment is inserted into the dental implant and to be forcefully fitted onto the inner surface of the circular vertical portion to temporarily fix the abutment to the inside of the dental implant.
[0024] In the present invention, the holding portion may be a dental implant assembly characterized in that it is provided in multiples and spaced apart along the lower circumference of the lower portion, or provided in singles and formed to form a closed curve along the lower circumference of the lower portion.
[0025] According to one aspect of the present invention, by setting the inclination of the upper slope of the inner groove of the implant with respect to the axis to a specific range, the contact area with the abutment is increased, which is advantageous for stress distribution, while preventing the upper thickness of the implant from becoming excessively thin, thereby improving the strength of the implant.
[0026] In addition, by forming the lowest depth of the circular vertical part of the inner groove of the implant to which external force is applied through the abutment relatively deep compared to the entire depth of the inner groove to be above the middle, the distance from the upper inclined part to which external force is applied through the abutment is increased, facilitating internal stress distribution and improving the strength of the implant.
[0027] In addition, by forming the thickness of the circular vertical portion relatively thicker compared to the maximum outer diameter of the implant, it can be advantageous for improving the strength of the implant.
[0028] In addition, since the first curved portion is formed on the upper edge of the bone of the external screw thread and the second curved portion is formed on the lower edge, the stress concentrated on the edge of the bone when implanted in the alveolar bone is dispersed, thereby improving the fracture stability of the implant.
[0029] And, in the bone of the external screw thread, since the lower part of the bone is formed relatively more gently than the upper part of the bone, when entering the alveolar bone, the alveolar bone implantation is relatively easy due to the second curved part having a relatively gentle slope, so the implantation convenience can be improved, and when the alveolar bone implantation is completed, the first curved part having a relatively steep slope compresses the alveolar bone within the bone from above, so implantation stability can be facilitated.
[0030] The effects of the present invention are not limited to the effects described above, and should be understood to include all effects that can be inferred from the detailed description of the present invention or the composition of the invention described in the claims.

[0046] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.
[0047] FIG. 1 (a) and (b) are a perspective view and a plan view, respectively, of a dental implant according to the present invention, FIG. 2 is a front view of a dental implant according to the present invention, FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional perspective view of a dental implant according to the present invention, FIGS. 4 and 5 are cross-sectional views of a dental implant according to the present invention, FIG. 6 (a) is a drawing for explaining a polygonal portion processing method according to the present invention, FIG. 6 (b) is a drawing for comparing a case where a boring portion is not present when processing a polygonal portion and (c) is a drawing for comparing a case where a boring portion is present, FIG. 7 is a partially enlarged cross-sectional view of a dental implant according to the present invention, and FIG. 8 is a drawing showing the structure of an internal groove of a dental implant according to the present invention.
[0048] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 8, a dental implant (1000) according to the present invention is a structure that is implanted into an alveolar bone to form an artificial tooth root according to a rotational movement about an axis (CL). The dental implant (1000) may include an internal groove (100) formed on the inner side of the upper portion so that an abutment for supporting a prosthesis can be coupled, and an external screw portion (200) having screw threads formed from the upper to lower portion of the outer surface so that the dental implant can be implanted into the alveolar bone.
[0049] The internal groove (100) of the dental implant (1000) may sequentially include an upper inclined portion (110), a polygonal portion (120), a boring portion (130), a circular vertical portion (140), and an internal threaded portion (150) from the upper entrance toward the lower side.
[0050] The upper inclined portion (110) is located at the upper entrance of the dental implant (1000), and may have a circular cross-section, but its inner diameter may become narrower as it goes downward. The upper inclined portion (110) may extend downward from the upper end of the implant (100), and may be formed in a tapered shape in which the diameter becomes narrower as it goes downward.
[0051] According to one embodiment, as illustrated in FIG. 5, the inclination angle (θ1) of the upper inclined portion (110) of the inner groove (100) with respect to the axis line (CL) can be set to 14° to 16°. That is, it is preferable that the inclination angle (θ1) of the upper inclined portion (110) of the inner groove (100) with respect to the axis line (CL) is 14° to 16°.
[0052] The upper inclined portion (110) is located at the top of the inner groove (100) and is the portion where the abutment is seated, and both horizontal and vertical forces applied to the abutment can be transmitted. In addition, the upper inclined portion (110) can be formed with a relatively thin wall thickness in the dental implant (1000) due to its inclined shape.
[0053] The upper inclined portion (110) according to the present invention can be advantageous for stress distribution by setting the angle (θ1) inclined with respect to the axis (CL) to 14° or more, thereby increasing the contact area with the abutment compared to the existing one, and can also be advantageous for preventing the upper thickness of the dental implant (1000) from becoming excessively thin by setting it to 16° or less. In other words, it can be advantageous for improving the fracture strength of the dental implant (1000).
[0054] The polygonal portion (120) is formed on the lower side of the upper inclined portion (110) and may have a polygonal cross-sectional shape. The polygonal portion (120) is arranged on the lower side of the upper inclined portion (110) and can prevent the abutment inserted into the internal groove (100) from rotating about the axis (CL). In the present embodiment, the polygonal portion (120) has a hexagonal shape, but is not limited thereto and may have various shapes that can prevent the rotation of the abutment.
[0055] The boring portion (130) is formed on the lower side of the polygonal portion (120) and may be circular in shape with a diameter larger than the diameter of a circle (VC1) circumscribed to the polygonal portion (120). The boring portion (130) is positioned on the lower side of the polygonal portion (120) and may be formed with a diameter larger than the diameter of a circle (VC1) circumscribed to the polygonal portion (120). The boring portion (130) may be formed before the polygonal portion (120).
[0056] Referring to FIG. 6, the boring section (130) can prevent the parent material of the upper inclined section (110) that is plastically deformed by the punching tool (10) when machining the polygonal section (120) from being pushed toward the lower side of the polygonal section (120), which causes compressive residual stress and crack nuclei to be concentrated. That is, as the boring section (130) is formed, the parent material of the upper inclined section (110) is mainly removed by the striking of the punching tool (10) or only partially pushed outward in a radial direction, so that the problem of the parent material being severely deformed and being pushed toward the lower side of the polygonal section (120) to cause crack nuclei can be prevented. In other words, it is preferable to first machine the boring section (130) and then form the polygonal section (120) through punching so that extreme plastic deformation is not caused to the parent material.
[0057] Meanwhile, the boring part (130) may include a second circular vertical part (131), an upper round part (132) provided on the upper side of the second circular vertical part (131), and a lower round part (133) provided on the lower side of the second circular vertical part (131).
[0058] As illustrated in FIG. 6, the radius of the boring portion (130) should be set to be greater than the length from the geometric center to the edge of the cross-section of the punching tool (10) used in the polygonal portion (120) machining process (this length consequently corresponds to the radius of the circumscribed circle of the polygonal portion). That is, the diameter of the second circular vertical portion (131) can be formed to be greater than the diameter of the circumscribed circle (VC1) of the polygonal portion (120).
[0059] As shown in Fig. 6 (b), in the past, the workpiece of the parent material would inevitably be forced downward by the punching tool entering from above, causing the parent material to be severely deformed and, in addition, a large number of crack nuclei to be distributed. However, as shown in Fig. 6 (c), according to the present invention, the workpiece is processed in a manner in which the punching tool cuts the workpiece portion as if it were a knife or scissors, or in a manner in which the side of the workpiece portion cannot be pushed toward the lower edge, thereby solving the problem of Fig. 6 (b).
[0060] In addition, since the boring section (130) is provided with an upper round section (132) and a lower round section (133), it is possible to prevent the parent material that has been removed by the punching tool from being caught in the corner and remaining. In addition, since the boring section (130) is provided with an upper round section (132) and a lower round section (133), the stress acting on the corner of the boring section (130) during the process of strongly striking the punching tool with square corners is efficiently distributed, thereby reducing the possibility of fracture due to residual stress.
[0061] A circular vertical portion (140) is formed on the lower side of the boring portion (130), and an abutment can be temporarily fastened thereto. The circular vertical portion (140) has a roughly cylindrical shape and is positioned on the lower side of the boring portion (130), and the holding portion of the abutment can be forcefully fitted inside the implant. Accordingly, the abutment can be temporarily fastened to the circular vertical portion (140) even when the abutment fastening screw is not fastened.
[0062] The internal thread portion (150) is formed on the lower side of the circular vertical portion (140), and an abutment-attaching screw having a diameter smaller than a circle (VC2) inscribed in the polygon of the polygonal portion (120) can be fastened. The internal thread portion (150) is a portion positioned on the lower side of the circular vertical portion (140), and threads can be formed on the inner circumferential surface.
[0063] Meanwhile, in the internal groove (100) of the dental implant (1000), the upper inclined portion (110) and the circular vertical portion (140) are in direct contact with the abutment and are the portions through which external force applied to the abutment (e.g., masticatory force including vertical masticatory force and horizontal masticatory force) is transmitted, and are important factors in improving the strength of the dental implant (1000).
[0064] In addition, according to one embodiment, as illustrated in FIG. 8, the depth (L1) from the top of the upper inclined portion (110) to the bottom of the circular vertical portion (140) may be set to 3 mm to 5 mm. In addition, the ratio (L1 / L2) of the depth (L1) from the top of the upper inclined portion (110) to the depth (L2) from the top of the upper inclined portion (110) to the bottom of the internal screw portion (150) may be set to 0.5 to 0.7.
[0065] That is, the ratio (L1 / L2) of the depth (L1) from the top of the upper inclined portion (110) to the depth (L2) from the top of the upper inclined portion (110) to the bottom of the internal screw portion (150) is preferably 0.5 to 0.7, and at the same time, the depth from the top of the upper inclined portion (110) to the bottom of the circular vertical portion (140) is preferably 3 mm to 5 mm.
[0066] The circular vertical portion (140) is a portion where the holding portion of the abutment is forcibly connected, and horizontal force among the external forces applied to the abutment can be transmitted. In this way, by forming the lowest depth (L1) of the circular vertical portion (140) through which the external force is transmitted relatively deep to be above the middle compared to the total depth (L2) of the internal groove (100), the distance from the upper inclined portion (110) through which the external force is also transmitted can be increased, thereby facilitating internal stress distribution. In this way, the internal groove (100) structure that is advantageous for stress distribution can be advantageous for improving fatigue strength.
[0067] In addition, according to one embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 8, the ratio (D2 / D1) of the wall thickness (D2) of the circular vertical portion (140) in the direction perpendicular to the axis (CL) to the maximum outer diameter (D1) of the dental implant (1000) may be set to 0.15 to 0.3. In addition, the inner diameter (R1) of the circular vertical portion (140) may be set to be 0.5 mm to 1.8 mm smaller than the maximum inner diameter (R2) of the upper inclined portion (110).
[0068] That is, the ratio (D2 / D1) of the wall thickness (D2) of the circular vertical portion (140) in the direction perpendicular to the axis (CL) to the maximum outer diameter (D1) of the dental implant (1000) is preferably 0.15 to 0.3, and at the same time, the inner diameter (R1) of the circular vertical portion (140) is preferably formed to be 0.5 mm to 1.8 mm smaller than the maximum inner diameter (R2) of the upper inclined portion (110). In this way, by forming the thickness (D2) of the circular vertical portion (140) to which the external force applied to the abutment, particularly the horizontal force, is transmitted relatively thick compared to the maximum outer diameter (D1) of the dental implant (1000), it can be advantageous for improving the strength of the dental implant (1000).
[0069] FIG. 9 is a drawing illustrating a case where the external screw part of a dental implant according to the present invention is processed into bites of different shapes, and FIG. 10 is a partially enlarged view of the external screw part according to the present invention.
[0070] Referring to FIGS. 1, 2, 4 and 5, the external threaded portion (200) may include an external upper threaded section (210) and an external lower threaded section (220).
[0071] Referring also to FIGS. 9 and 10, the external screw portion (200) may include an external upper screw thread section (210) that is machined so that a first screw thread (211) of a first height and a first groove (212) of a first depth are formed by a first bite (B1) from the upper portion of the outer surface of the dental implant (1000) to a certain section downward.
[0072] In addition, the external thread section (200) may include an external lower thread section (220) that is machined so that a second thread (221) of a second height and a second groove (222) of a second depth are formed by a second byte (B2) having a different machined surface shape and width from the first byte (B1) on the lower side of the external upper thread section (210).
[0073] At this time, the first height of the first screw thread (211) may be formed lower than the second height of the second screw thread (221). In addition, the first depth of the first groove (212) may be formed shallower than the second depth of the second groove (222).
[0074] Referring to FIGS. 5 and 9, the dental implant (1000) of the present invention performs thread processing on the target surface of the implant mother material by using two bites (B1, B2) having different processing surface shapes to form two thread sections (210, 220) having different thread groove depths (or thread heights) (H1, H2) on the outer peripheral portion thereof. Here, H1 may be the thread groove depth (or thread height) formed in the outer upper thread section (210) by the first bite (B1), and H2 may be the thread groove depth (or thread height) formed in the outer lower thread section (220) by the second bite (B2).
[0075] Conventional implant thread machining involves rotating the implant base material while inserting the bit into the lower portion of the implant's target surface and moving upward along a predetermined, fixed trajectory. In this case, the thread height can be adjusted by adjusting the depth of the bit's entry into the target surface of the implant base material.
[0076] In the dental implant (1000) of the present invention, when forming the external lower thread section (220), the second bite (B2) is introduced into the implant mother material to perform thread processing of the external lower thread section (220) having a deep thread groove depth (H2) (or a high thread height).
[0077] At the point when the thread processing by the second byte (B2) is completed, the second byte (B2) is replaced with the first byte (B1) to perform thread processing of the outer upper thread section (210) with a shallow thread groove depth (H1) (or low thread height).
[0078] In this case, as previously mentioned, since a non-threaded section (H, see FIG. 2) is formed where no thread processing is performed from the top of the dental implant (1000) to a certain depth downward, the external upper thread processing of the dental implant (1000) by the first bite (B1) can be completed at a point spaced a certain distance downward from the top of the dental implant (1000) without proceeding to the top portion of the dental implant (1000).
[0079] Meanwhile, in order to machine screw threads (211, 221) having the same pitch (P) on the outer surface of a dental implant (1000), there must be a geometric difference in the machining surfaces of each end of the second bite (B2) that performs the outer lower screw thread machining of the dental implant (1000) and the first bite (B1) that performs the outer upper screw thread machining.
[0080] When the external lower thread section (220) and the external upper thread section (210) are processed using the same byte, the width of the top of the first thread (211) of the external upper thread section (210) with a low bone depth becomes wider, so when the dental implant (1000) is implanted into the alveolar bone, a relatively large torque is required, making the implantation of the dental implant (1000) difficult and possibly causing damage to the alveolar bone.
[0081] On the other hand, by performing the thread processing operation by changing the shape and width of the end processing surface of the first bite (B1) and the second bite (B2) for processing the external upper thread section (210) and the external lower thread section (220), it is possible to form a thread structure in which the heights of the respective threads (211, 221) formed in the external upper thread section (210) and the external lower thread section (220) of the dental implant (1000) are different, but the pitch (P) of each thread is the same and the peak width (W, see FIG. 2) of each thread is the same.
[0082] By forming the screw thread top width (W) narrowly in this way, the area of the valley (212, 222) increases, which can provide a beneficial effect when performing blasting or coating treatment.
[0083] Referring to FIG. 4, the dental implant (1000) of the present invention can be formed so that, when forming an external upper screw thread section (210) having a low screw thread height (or bone depth), the lower end of the external upper screw thread section (210) is lowered by 2 to 4 screw threads from the lower bottom surface of the boring portion (130) inside the dental implant (1000).
[0084] In this way, if the lowermost end of the outer upper screw thread section (210) is positioned 2 to 4 screw threads below the lower bottom surface of the boring section (130) of the dental implant (1000), the thickness of the polygonal section (120) and the circular vertical section (140) formed by the punching process can be indirectly reinforced, thereby improving fracture stability.
[0085] Meanwhile, referring to FIG. 10, the first groove (212) of the outer upper thread section (210) and the second groove (222) of the outer lower thread section (220) may include a first curved portion (212d, 222d) extending from the upper portion (212a, 222a) of the groove to the side portion (212b, 222b), and a second curved portion (212e, 222e) extending from the side portion (212b, 222b) of the groove to the lower portion (212c, 222c).
[0086] In this way, as the first curved portion and the second curved portion are formed on the corner side of the bone (212, 222), the stress concentrated on the corner side of the bone (212, 222) when implanted in the alveolar bone is dispersed, thereby improving the fracture stability of the dental implant (1000).
[0087] According to one embodiment, as illustrated in FIG. 10, the first groove (212) of the outer upper thread section (210) and the second groove (222) of the outer lower thread section (220) may be formed asymmetrically vertically with respect to an imaginary line that is perpendicular to the axis line (CL) and passes through the center of the width of the grooves. At this time, it is preferable that the curvature of the first curved portion (212d, 222d) be formed to be greater than the curvature of the second curved portion (212e, 222e).
[0088] That is, since the lower part of the bone (212, 222) is formed relatively more gently than the upper part, when entering the alveolar bone, the alveolar bone implantation is relatively easy due to the second curved part (212e, 222e) having a relatively gentle slope, so that the implantation convenience can be improved, and when entering the alveolar bone is completed, the first curved part (212d, 222d) having a relatively steep slope compresses the alveolar bone in the bone (212, 222) from above, so that implantation stability can be facilitated.
[0089] Meanwhile, referring to FIG. 2, a cutting edge (223) is provided on the lower part of the outer surface of the dental implant (1000) to improve the implantation stability of the dental implant (1000), and the cutting edge (223) may include a reverse helical section formed in a direction opposite to the helical direction of the screw threads (211, 221).
[0090] Alternatively, the cutting edge (223) may include a helical section formed in the helical direction of the screw threads (211, 221). In addition, the cutting edge (223) may include a straight section in which a portion of the cutting edge (223) is parallel to the axis line (CL). In this case, a portion of the cutting edge (223) having the straight section may be placed at the lower end of the cutting edge (223).
[0091] Fig. 11 is a cross-sectional view of a dental implant assembly according to the present invention, Fig. 12 is a front view of an abutment according to the present invention, and Fig. 13 is a partially enlarged view of Fig. 11.
[0092] Referring to FIGS. 11 to 13, a dental implant assembly according to the present invention may include a dental implant (1000), an abutment (300), and a fastening screw (400).
[0093] An abutment (300) is connected to a dental implant (1000) to support a prosthesis, and a fastening screw insertion hole (301) extending from the top to the bottom can be formed inside.
[0094] The abutment (300) includes an upper portion (310) that protrudes outward from the dental implant (1000) and to which a prosthesis is attached, and a lower portion (320) that is positioned below the upper portion (310) and is partially inserted into an internal groove (100) of the dental implant (1000).
[0095] The lower part (320) may include a tapered insertion part (321), an anti-rotation part (322), a cylindrical part (323), and a holding part (324) from the upper side.
[0096] The tapered insertion portion (321) is inserted and seated in the upper inclined portion (110) of the dental implant (1000) and can be formed in a shape corresponding to the upper inclined portion (110).
[0097] The anti-rotation portion (322) is positioned on the lower side of the tapered insertion portion (321) and can be inserted into the polygonal portion (120) of the dental implant (1000) to restrict the relative rotation of the abutment (300) with respect to the dental implant (1000). This anti-rotation portion (322) can be formed in a shape corresponding to the polygonal portion (120).
[0098] The cylindrical portion (323) is positioned below the anti-rotation portion (322) and may be formed in a roughly cylindrical shape. At least a portion of the cylindrical portion (323) may be inserted into the second circular vertical portion (140) of the dental implant (1000). More specifically, at least a portion of the cylindrical portion (323) may be inserted into the circular vertical portion (140) together with the holding portion (324).
[0099] The holding portion (324) is arranged on the lower side of the cylindrical portion (323) and can be elastically forcibly fitted onto the inner surface of the circular vertical portion (140) when the abutment (300) is inserted into the dental implant (1000) to temporarily fix the abutment (300) to the dental implant (1000). That is, the holding portion (324) is for temporarily fixing the abutment (300) to the inner surface of the circular vertical portion (140). The holding portions (324) may be provided in multiple numbers and spaced apart from each other along the lower circumference of the cylindrical portion (323). In addition, the holding portions (324) may be provided in single numbers and formed to form a closed curve along the lower circumference of the cylindrical portion (323). For example, shapes having a closed curve may include a circle, an oval, a polygon, etc.
[0100] The fastening screw (400) can firmly fix the abutment (300) temporarily fixed to the dental implant (1000) by being screwed into the internal threaded portion (150) of the dental implant (1000) while being inserted into the fastening screw insertion hole (301) of the abutment (300).
