AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing mop designs suffer from unreliable fixation of rotary rods within the main corps part, leading to positional instability during operation, and connectors with cylindrical profiles lacking step or protruding elements for enhanced adhesion.

Method used

A mop mounting unit featuring a connection node with a tip, cracker, connecting bar, and four axes, where the axes connect the tip and cracker, and the cracker and connecting bar in a perpendicular direction with a step corresponding to the diameter of the axis, along with stepped holes and conical holes for enhanced fixation.

Benefits of technology

The solution ensures reliable fixation and maintains the required positions of interconnected details, thereby increasing the service life of the mop by providing double reliability through rolling heads in stepped holes and interference fitting in conical holes.

Description

[0001] CONNECTION UNIT OF THE HANDLE WITH THE MOP PLATFORM

[0002] Field of technology

[0003] This utility model relates to the field of fasteners, namely to fasteners connecting the base of a mop and a handle, more specifically to a connection unit of the handle with the platform of the mop.

[0004] State of the art

[0005] Currently, various types of fastening elements for mops are known from the state of the art.

[0006] The prior art (CN215191284U, 12 / 17 / 2021) discloses a mop comprising a multi-position head, which is characterized by comprising a housing, a rotating drive unit, and a plurality of rotating slave units located on the housing and connected to a rotating active unit. The rotating drive unit comprises a steering coupling part, and the steering coupling part consists of a main housing part and two inserted rotary rods.

[0007] The disadvantage of the specified utility model is that the rotary rods are not securely fixed to each other and to the main body part, and do not maintain their position during operation.

[0008] Also known from the prior art (CN216876272, 05.07.2022) is a mop in which the mop platform is connected to the handle using a connector. The connector is a hinge with four axes located on four sides of the hinge body so that the projections of the axes inside the hinge body intersect at a right angle, that is, are perpendicular. This connector is attached to the mop platform by two opposite axes, and is attached to the mop handle by two other opposite axes.

[0009] The disadvantage of the said utility model is that the axles have a cylinder profile along their entire length. There are no stepped, protruding elements for better adhesion.

[0010] Disclosure of a utility model

[0011] The task, which the claimed utility model is aimed at solving, is to develop a mop attachment unit that allows eliminating the shortcomings identified in the previous level of technology. The technical result of the claimed utility model is aimed at increasing the service life of the product by ensuring reliable fixation in the parts connected to each other and maintaining them in the required positions.

[0012] The said technical result is achieved due to the design of the handle-to-platform mop connection unit, which includes a tip, a biscuit, a connecting bar and four axles installed with the possibility of connecting the tip and the biscuit, the biscuit and the connecting bar in a perpendicular direction relative to each other with a vertical step of i of the axle diameter. In this case, stepped mounting holes are made in the tip and the connecting bar, conical holes are made in the biscuit for installing the axles with tension, and the axles have a head with knurling.

[0013] Brief description of the drawings.

[0014] Fig. 1 shows a general view of the mop.

[0015] Fig. 2 shows the connection unit of the handle with the mop platform in detail.

[0016] Fig. 3 shows the mop assembly from the side.

[0017] Fig. 4 shows the assembled mop in a side section.

[0018] Fig. 5 shows the assembled mop from the front.

[0019] Fig. 6 shows the assembled mop in a section from the front.

[0020] Fig. 7 shows the connection unit of the handle with the mop platform in a front section.

[0021] Fig. 8 shows the connection unit of the handle with the mop platform in a side section.

[0022] Fig. 9 shows an axle with a head and knurling.

[0023] Implementation of a utility model

[0024] One of the main elements of the mop design shown in Fig. 1, which is responsible for the functionality and rotation of the mop platform relative to the handle at a given angle, is the handle-to-platform connection unit (Fig. 2).

[0025] In the connection unit of the handle with the mop platform (Fig. 2), four axes 2 are used, which are installed on both sides in an open manner, connecting the following parts together: tip 1 and cracker 3 (Fig. 3, Fig. 4), cracker 3 and connecting bar 4 (Fig. 5, Fig. 6). Axes 2 connect the parts tip 1 and cracker 3, cracker 3 and connecting bar 4 in a perpendicular direction with respect to each other with a vertical step of i of the diameter of axis 2 (Fig. 1) to ensure the strength and rigidity of the structure. Since the specified elements of the structure are installed with respect to each other perpendicularly with a vertical step of i of the diameter of axis 2, axes 2 are not located in the same plane. Mounting holes 5 (Fig. 7, Fig. 8) are provided in tip 1 and connecting bar 4. Axles 2 have a head with knurling (Fig. 9) for enhanced fixation in the mounting hole 5 of parts 1 and 3. The mounting hole 5 is made stepped for reliable fixation of the position of axes 2 (Fig. 7, Fig.8). In the cracker 3, conical holes 6 are made for installing the axles 2 with tension (Fig. 7, Fig. 8), also for the purpose of reliable fixation. Thus, double reliability of the through connection is ensured, on the one hand, by fixing the axles with the help of knurling on the head in the stepped holes 5 of the tip 1 and the cracker 3, and on the other hand, by installing them with tension in the conical holes 6.
