Abstract
Description
[0001] ADJUSTABLE ANTI-THEFT CASE COMPRISING ANTI-
[0002] EXTRACTION MEANS
[0003] The present invention refers to an adj ustable anti-theft case , in particular for containers for razor blades , perfumes , compact discs , music cassettes , video cassettes , books or the like , and of the type comprising anti-extraction means of such items from inside the case , which can be activated and / or only deactivated by means of magnetic devices available to service personnel , while inside the case , together with these items , anti-theft devices are housed in an inaccessible position, such as magnetic labels , radio frequency emission labels or similar, cooperating with detection barriers .
[0004] Cases of this type are known, and have transparent walls to make the product contained inside them visible . They are made up of boxes with a shape complementary to those for packaging the items which are inserted into the cases themselves , generally through an open head side , and are equipped with anti-extraction means which allow the opening of the container itsel f and the extraction of the packaging of the product inside , through the use of special and dedicated magnetic detaching devices available to the service staf f of a point of sale .
[0005] Such cases have proven ef fective in preventing theft of items . However, they have the problem o f not allowing a precise adaptation to the dimensions of the product package contained therein, due to the presence of product packages having a large variety of si zes .
[0006] Document US-A-2019 / 301207 discloses an antitheft case according to the preamble of Claim 1 .
[0007] Obj ect of the present invention is solving the aforementioned prior art problems by providing an adj ustable anti-theft case , equipped with antiextraction means , which allows a very precise adaptation to the dimensions of an item, in particular a packaged item, to be housed .
[0008] The above and other obj ects and advantages of the invention, as will appear from the following description, are achieved with an adj ustable antitheft case like the one described in claim 1 . Preferred embodiments and non-trivial variants of the present invention are the subj ect matter of the dependent claims .
[0009] It is understood that all attached claims form an integral part of this description .
[0010] It will be immediately obvious that countless variations and modi fications can be made to what i s described ( for example relating to shape , dimensions , arrangements and parts with equivalent functionality) without departing from the scope of the invention as appears from the attached claims .
[0011] The present invention will be better described by some preferred embodiments , provided by way of example and not by way of limitation, with reference to the attached drawings , wherein :
[0012] - Figure 1 is an exploded perspective view of an adj ustable anti-theft case according to the invention;
[0013] Figure 2 is a perspective view of an adj ustable anti-theft case according to the invention; and
[0014] Figure 3 is a side sectional view of an adj ustable anti-theft case according to the invention .
[0015] With reference to the Figures , the adj ustable anti-theft case 100 according to the present invention includes an housing sector 1 which extends in correspondence with a corner area of the item to be contained, the packaging of which i s composed of a box substantially in the shape of a parallelepiped rectangle . For example , the item may be a pack of razor blades , a perfume , a video cassette , a compact disc, a book, or similar items .
[0016] The housing sector 1 has a rear wall 30 and a lower wall 40 connected to each other and a section of side wall 305 which connects to each other a lower section of a height side 3 of the rear wall 30 and a depth side 4 of the wall lower 40 which enclose a corresponding corner . The height side 3 and the depth side 4 of the housing sector 1 have a length substantially equal to or slightly greater than the length of the corresponding sides of the item with maximum dimensions . A closing sector 6 is mounted along the rear wall 30 , slidingly in its longitudinal direction . In particular, as better illustrated in the Figures , the closing sector 6 includes a guide 103 made on one of its ends which engages a profiled sliding extension 105 made along an upper section of the height side 3 of the rear wall 30 to allow the closing sector 6 to slide with respect to the housing sector 1 . The closing sector 6 includes an upper wall 44 , connected in turn to a perpendicular transverse head wall 206 and to a section of side wall 306 , and a rear wall 31 connected to the section of side wall 306 via a height side 5 ; the closing sector 6 further includes an opening 45 between the rear wall 31 and the upper wall 44 of the closing sector 6 configured to allow the passage of an upper part of the rear wall 30 when the closing sector 6 slides with respect to the housing sector 1 .
[0017] The lower section of the height side 3 of the rear wall 30 and the depth side 4 of the lower wall 40 are connected via the side wall section 305 , which in turn is connected to a perpendicular transverse head wall 205 in such a way as to form a housing for the corner area of the item packaging box .
[0018] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the housing sector 1 comprises , preferably on the face of the rear wall 30 facing the rear wall 31 of the closing sector 6 , a row of engagement teeth 7 arranged in correspondence with a lateral end 15 of the housing sector 1 . The engagement teeth 7 are equidistant from each other and aligned along the sliding direction of the closing sector 6 and protrude beyond the surface of the housing sector 1 facing the internal surface of the rear wall 31 of the closing sector 6 .
[0019] These engagement teeth 7 comprise a shaped portion 24 complementary to means for locking and unlocking the case 100 , preferably connected to the rear wall 31 of the closing sector 6 and protruding from its surface facing the rear wall 30 of the housing sector 1 in so as to engage the shaped portion 24 of the engagement teeth 7 .
[0020] Preferably, the locking and unlocking means 14 are made in correspondence with a lateral end 25 of the rear wall 31 of the closing sector 6 .
[0021] Advantageously, the engagement teeth 7 include an inclined side at the end of which the shaped portion 24 is obtained, which allows the engagement of the locking and unlocking means 14 . The inclined side facilitates a movement in the sliding direction of the closing sector 6 towards the lower wall 40 of the housing sector 1 , ef fectively preventing its movement in the opposite direction, with the upper part of the rear wall 30 sliding inside the opening 45 obtained in the closing sector 6 .
[0022] As is clear from above , the case 100 according to the invention can be adapted very precisely to the dimensions of an item to be housed, due to the presence of the engagement teeth 7 and their shaped portions 24 which allow blocking, by means of the locking and unlocking means 14 , the closing sector 6 at a height corresponding to the dimensions of the package of the item contained in the case 100 . The closing sector 6 and the storage sector 1 block the item so that it cannot be extracted unless the closing sector 6 itsel f is moved again in the direction away from the lower wall 40 of the housing sector 1 . This is prevented by the locking and unlocking means 14 which irremovably engage the engagement teeth 7 , in particular the shaped portion 24 , as illustrated in Fig . 3 .
[0023] The housing sector 1 is deep enough to guarantee the insertion inside it , preferably below a plane 26 inserted above the lower wall 40 of the housing sector 1 , of anti-extraction means , for example a magnetic element 27 or a radio frequency, which cannot be reached from the outside when the item is housed in the case 100 .
[0024] To ensure the locking and unlocking of the case 100 , the engagement teeth 7 of the case sector 1 , preferably the shaped portion 24 , are suitable for being locked and unlocked by the locking and unlocking means 14 .
[0025] The locking and unlocking means 14 preferably comprise a pin 13 made of ferromagnetic material , which is housed in an external appendix 10 inserted in a seat 18 , preferably a through-hole 18 , made in the rear wall 31 of the closing sector 6 , preferably next to the lateral end 25 . The pin 13 is always urged towards the housing sector 1 by elastic means 12 , for example a spring 12 , which, by pushing the pin 13 , put the engagement teeth 7 into mutual engagement , in particular the shaped portion 24 , and the pin 13 as shown in Fig . 3 ; preferably, the external appendix 10 includes a tab 16 configured to facilitate the grip during the insertion of the pin 13 and the spring 12 in a seat 11 obtained in the external appendix 10 .
[0026] To unlock the locking sector 6 , it is enough to subj ect the pin 13 to a magnetic attraction force along the extraction direction, so that the pin 13 is attracted to the retracted position in the appendix 10 due to the action of a magnet (not shown) , which is placed in operating contact with the appendix 10 and which exerts the necessary attraction force . In this case , the operation of introducing and removing an item into the housing section 1 can be performed more easily . The magnet can constitute a fixed base , with a housing hole (not shown) for the appendix 10 . Therefore , it also keeps the case 100 in position more easily, allowing easier handling, with the two hands substantially free , in particular for the movement of the closing sector 6 .
[0027] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the housing sector 1 includes hooking means 28 , 29 , for example a window 28 obtained in the rear wal l 30 in correspondence with respective openings obtained in the packaging of the item contained in the case 100 , for hanging the case 100 to a display stand; preferably, the coupling means comprise a coupling appendix 29 , for example in the shape of a handle connected in a rotatable manner to the upper wall 44 of the closing sector 6 .
[0028] Advantageously, the adj ustable anti-theft case according to the invention allows a very precise adaptation to the dimensions of an item, in particular a packaged item, to be housed inside it ; another advantage is given by the possibility o f easily containing anti-extraction means .
