[0001] The present invention relates to an error screen display system that, when an abnormality is detected in a production facility, displays an error screen corresponding to the abnormality on a display unit of the production facility.
[0002] There is known a system that, when an abnormality is detected in production equipment such as a component mounting device used in a production site such as a component mounting line that produces mounted boards, displays an error screen corresponding to the detected abnormality on a display unit of the production equipment to support recovery work by an operator.Patent Document 1 discloses an operator work instruction device that, when an abnormality is detected in the production equipment, displays on a display unit the details of the detected abnormality as well as a procedure for recovery work to be performed by an operator that is stored in the production equipment.
[0003] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 1-258500
[0004] However, in conventional technologies including Patent Document 1, information such as recovery work procedures that is displayed on the display unit when an abnormality is detected is information common to the production equipment that is stored in advance in the production equipment by the production equipment manufacturer, and therefore there is an issue that it does not contain user-specific information that users using the production equipment would refer to during recovery work, etc., and there is room for further improvement in order to display appropriate information according to the user.
[0005] SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide an error screen display system that can display appropriate information in response to a user of production equipment.
[0006] The error screen display system of the present invention is an error screen display system that displays an error screen corresponding to an abnormality detected by an abnormality detection unit that detects abnormalities in production equipment on a display unit of production equipment used at a production site, and includes an error screen display unit that displays the error screen on the display unit, a memory unit that stores error screen information required for the error screen display unit to display the error screen on the display unit, and an error screen editing unit that provides a user interface that accepts editing of the error screen information by human operation.
[0007] According to the present invention, it is possible to display appropriate information corresponding to the user of the production facility.
[0008] FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing the configuration of a production system (error screen display system) according to an embodiment of the present invention; FIG. 2 is an explanatory diagram of an example of error screen information used in a production system according to an embodiment of the present invention; FIG. 3 is an explanatory diagram of an example of an error screen editing screen displayed on an information management device provided in a production system according to an embodiment of the present invention; and FIG. 4 is an explanatory diagram of an example of an error screen displayed on production equipment provided in a production system according to an embodiment of the present invention.
[0009] An embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. The configurations, screen displays, etc. described below are examples for explanatory purposes and can be modified as appropriate depending on the specifications of the production system, component mounting line, component mounting device, and information management device. Corresponding elements in all drawings will be designated by the same reference numerals below, and duplicate explanations will be omitted.
[0010] First, the configuration of the production system 1 will be described with reference to Figure 1. The production system 1 is equipped with three component mounting lines L1 to L3. The production equipment M equipped on the component mounting lines L1 to L3, which are the production site, is connected to an information management device 3 via a communication network 2. Note that the number of component mounting lines L1 to L3 equipped in the production system 1 does not need to be three, and may be one, two, four or more.
[0011] The information management device 3 has a function to create data and parameters necessary for the operation of the production equipment M equipped on the component mounting lines L1 to L3 and transmit them to each production equipment M. It also has a function to accept editing of error screen information necessary for displaying an error screen on the display unit of the production equipment M equipped on the component mounting lines L1 to L3.
[0012] In addition to the information management device 3, the production system 1 may be configured to include a line management device that manages the production of mounted boards for each of the component mounting lines L1 to L3. The information management device 3 may also be installed outside the floor on which the component mounting lines L1 to L3 are installed. In addition to a configuration in which the information management device 3 is installed on each floor within the factory, a configuration in which a single information management device 3 installed within the factory manages the component mounting lines L1 to L3 on each floor may also be configured in which some of the functions of the information management device 3 are implemented on the cloud.
[0013] Next, the detailed configuration of component mounting lines L1 to L3 will be described with reference to Figure 1. Component mounting lines L1 to L3 have the same configuration, and only component mounting line L3 will be described below. Component mounting line L3 is configured by connecting production equipment M, such as printing device M1, print inspection device M2, component mounting devices M3 to M6, mounting inspection device M7, and reflow device M8, in series from upstream to downstream in the board transport direction. Note that component mounting line L3 is a group of production equipment connected via communication network 2, and the production equipment M does not necessarily have to be physically connected to each other.
[0014] Printing device M1, printing inspection device M2, component mounting devices M3 to M6, mounting inspection device M7, and reflow device M8 are connected to information management device 3 via communication network 2. Printing device M1 performs a solder printing operation in which solder is printed on a substrate carried in from upstream by a solder printing operation unit through a mask having a plurality of openings formed therein.
[0015] 1, the print inspection device M2 performs a print inspection operation in which a print inspection work unit including a solder inspection camera inspects the condition of the solder printed on the board. Note that a solder application device that applies solder to the board may be provided in parallel with the printing device M1 or in place of the printing device M1. Also, the component mounting line L1 does not necessarily have to include the print inspection device M2.
[0016] In Figure 1, component mounting devices M3 to M6 perform component mounting work by mounting components onto boards using a component mounting work unit including a conveyor, a component supply unit, and a mounting head. Note that component mounting line L1 is not limited to a configuration of four component mounting devices M3 to M6, and may have one to three, or five or more component mounting devices M3 to M6. In component mounting devices M3 to M6, a conveyor installed along the board transport direction transports the board to the mounting work position. The component supply unit is located outside the conveyor and supplies components to a pickup position by the mounting head.
[0017] The component supply unit is equipped with a cart carrying multiple tape feeders that feed components by tape-feeding a carrier tape that holds the components, and a tray feeder that supplies components by switching trays that hold multiple components. The mounting head is equipped with multiple suction nozzles that pick up the components supplied by the component supply unit and performs component mounting work by transporting and mounting the components to the mounting position on the board that is being held by the conveyor. Carrier tapes and trays are set in the component supply unit during setup changeover (in other words, the components are arranged) so that the specified components are supplied according to the type of board to be mounted on (the board to be produced).
[0018] 1, component mounting devices M3 to M6 are equipped with a component recognition camera that captures images of components held by the suction nozzle, a sensor that measures the flow rate of air flowing into the suction nozzle, a head camera that captures images of components supplied by the tape feeder, etc. During component mounting operations, component mounting devices M3 to M6 use the cameras and various sensors to monitor for operation errors such as suction errors where the suction nozzle does not properly pick up components and supply errors where the tape feeder does not properly supply components, as well as abnormalities in component mounting devices M3 to M6 (production equipment M).
[0019] The mounting inspection device M7 performs mounting inspection work by inspecting the condition of components mounted on the board using a mounting inspection work unit including a component inspection camera. Note that the component mounting line L1 does not necessarily have to be equipped with the mounting inspection device M7. The reflow device M8 performs board heating work by heating the board carried into the device using a board heating unit to melt and harden the solder on the board, thereby joining the electrodes of the board to the terminals of the components.
[0020] Next, the configuration of the control system of the production system 1 will be described with reference to Figure 2. Here, the description will focus on the function of displaying an error screen in response to an abnormality detected in production equipment M on production equipment M used in component mounting lines L1 to L3 (production site). The following description will be given using component mounting device M3 provided on component mounting line L1 as an example of production equipment M.
[0021] 2, the information management device 3 includes a management control device 10, input means 15 for accepting data through human operation such as a keyboard or mouse, and display means 16 such as a liquid crystal display. The management control device 10 includes a management memory unit 11 which is a storage device, an error screen editing unit 12, an error screen information distribution unit 13, and a management communication unit 14.
[0022] The component mounting device M3 (production equipment M) includes a mounting control device 20, a first touch panel 25 disposed in front of the component mounting device M3, and a second touch panel 26 disposed in the rear. The mounting control device 20 includes a mounting communication unit 21, a mounting memory unit 22 which is a memory device, an error screen display unit 23, and an abnormality detection unit 24. The first touch panel 25 and the second touch panel 26 are display units 27 that display various information such as error screens and warnings, and an operator inputs data and operates the component mounting device M3 using operation buttons and the like displayed on the display unit 27.
[0023] 2 , the management communication unit 14 and the implementation communication unit 21 are communication devices that are connected to each other via a communication network 2 and transmit and receive various data to and from each other. In this way, the information management device 3 can communicate with multiple production facilities M. The management storage unit 11 stores error screen information and the like to be displayed on the display unit 27 (first touch panel 25, second touch panel 26) of the production facilities M.
[0024] 3, an example of the configuration of the error screen information 30 stored in the management storage unit 11 will be described. The error screen information 30 stores original message information 32 and changed message information 33 for each error code 31 that identifies an abnormality detected in the production equipment M. The original message information 32 includes messages such as procedures for recovering from the abnormality, which are provided by the manufacturer of the production equipment M. The changed message information 33 includes messages such as procedures that have been edited using the information management device 3 to adapt to the user's production site, as will be described later.
[0025] 2, the error screen editing unit 12 displays an error screen editing screen on the display means 16 and accepts editing of the error screen information 30 using the input means 15. In other words, the error screen editing unit 12 provides a user interface (error screen editing screen) that accepts editing of the error screen information 30 by human operation.
[0026] 4, an example of an error screen editing screen 40 (user interface) that the error screen editing unit 12 displays on the display means 16 will be described. The error screen editing screen 40 displays an error code selection frame 41, a pre-change message display frame 42, a post-change message input frame 43, a sharing range setting frame 44, a cancel button 45, and a confirm button 46.
[0027] When an error code 31 is selected in the error code selection frame 41 by operating the input means 15, the selected error code 31 and the error content are displayed in the error code selection frame 41. Furthermore, the pre-change message display frame 42 displays the pre-change message information stored in the management storage unit 11. For example, if there is no change message information 33 corresponding to the error code 31, the original message information 32 is displayed in the pre-change message display frame 42. If multiple change message information 33 corresponding to the error code 31 are stored, the most recent change message information 33 is displayed.
[0028] 4 shows an example in which "E001" (hereinafter referred to as "error code E001") is selected as the error code 31 in the error code selection frame 41. At this point, the management storage unit 11 does not store the changed message information 33 corresponding to the error code E001, and the original message information 32 (TE001_0) is displayed in the pre-change message display frame 42.
[0029] In the changed message input box 43, a message such as a procedure for recovering from an abnormality adapted to the user's production site is entered by operating the input device 15. In this example, information on a procedure manual created by the user, information on the person to whom recovery is requested (floor leader), and information on a contact person (engineer) are entered in the changed message input box 43. In the sharing range setting box 44, the range for sharing the error screen information 30 including the corrected message is set by operating the input device 15. In this example, sharing range information that specifies the sharing range for the production factories (F1 to F3), production lines (L1 to L3), and production equipment M can be set. Note that the sharing range for production equipment M may also be specified by the model name, type, serial number, etc. of the production equipment.
[0030] 4, when a cancel button 45 is pressed by operating the input means 15, the content input on the error screen editing screen 40 is canceled. When a confirm button 46 is pressed by operating the input means 15, the error screen editing unit 12 stores the information input in the changed message input box 43 and the shared range setting box 44 in the management storage unit 11 as changed message information 33 (TE001_1) for the error code E001.
[0031] In this way, the error screen editing unit 12 is provided in the information management device 3 that can communicate with the production facility M (component mounting device M3). The management storage unit 11 of the information management device 3 is an error screen information storage unit that stores unedited first error screen information (original message information 32) and second error screen information edited using the error screen editing unit 12 (changed message information 33).
[0032] The error screen editing unit 12 reads the first error screen information (original message information 32) or the second error screen information (changed message information 33) from the error screen information storage unit (management storage unit 11). The user edits the read first error screen information or second error screen information. The error screen editing unit 12 stores the edited second error screen information (the first error screen information after editing by the user or the second error screen information after editing by the user) in the error screen information storage unit. The error screen editing unit 12 also accepts the setting of sharing range information via the user interface (error screen editing screen 40). The second error screen information includes sharing range information that defines the production equipment M that will share the second error screen information, and information about the production equipment M.
[0033] 2 , when change message information 33 (second error screen information) is added to error screen information 30, error screen information distribution unit 13 transmits change message information 33 to production equipment M (component mounting devices) provided on production lines (L1, L2) of a production factory (F1) set in the shared range information included in change message information 33. Upon receiving change message information 33, production equipment M adds the received change message information 33 to error screen information 30 stored in a storage unit.
[0034] In this example, the error screen information distribution unit 13 transmits change message information 33 (TE001_1) corresponding to the error code E001 to the component mounting devices M3 to M6 on the component mounting line L1, and the change message information 33 (TE001_1) is added to the error screen information 30 in the mounting storage unit 22. Note that the storage unit of each production facility M stores in advance error screen information 30 including original message information 32 provided by the manufacturer.
[0035] In this way, the mounting memory unit 22 of the component mounting device M3 is an equipment-side error screen information memory unit provided in the production equipment M, and stores error screen information 30 including original message information 32 (first error screen information) and changed message information 33 (second error screen information) that were stored in the error screen information memory unit (management memory unit 11).
[0036] 2, the abnormality detection unit 24 of the component mounting device M3 detects the occurrence of an abnormality (error) such as a pickup error, an operation error, or equipment stoppage in the component mounting device M3 (production equipment M) based on information acquired by a camera and various sensors equipped in the component mounting device M3. When the abnormality detection unit 24 detects an abnormality, the error screen display unit 23 displays an error screen corresponding to the detected abnormality on the display unit 27 (first touch panel 25, second touch panel 26).
[0037] Specifically, the error screen display unit 23 displays information including original message information 32 or changed message information 33 corresponding to the error code 31 of the detected abnormality on the display unit 27 where the recovery work is being performed. When the recovery work is performed only in the front of the component mounting device M3, the error screen display unit 23 displays the error screen on the first touch panel 25. When the recovery work is performed only in the rear of the component mounting device M3, the error screen display unit 23 displays the error screen on the second touch panel 26. When the recovery work can be performed both in the front and rear of the component mounting device M3, the error screen display unit 23 displays the error screen on both the first touch panel 25 and the second touch panel 26.
[0038] Here, an example of an error screen displayed by the error screen display unit 23 on the display unit 27 will be described with reference to Fig. 5. Fig. 5(a) shows an error screen 50 displayed by the error screen display unit 23 on the display unit 27 in a state in which an abnormality with error code E001 has occurred in the component mounting device M3 and change message information 33 (TE001_1) corresponding to the error code E001 is not stored in the mounting storage unit 22.
[0039] The error screen 50 displays an error content display frame 51 and a recovery processing procedure display frame 52. The error content display frame 51 displays the error content of the error code E001 (equipment stop switch (ON)), information identifying the production equipment M (occurring equipment) where the abnormality occurred, the error code 31, and the time of occurrence. The recovery processing procedure display frame 52 displays original message information 32 (TE001_0) corresponding to the error code E001.
[0040] 5(b) shows an error screen 53 that the error screen display unit 23 displays on the display unit 27 in a state in which an abnormality with error code E001 has occurred in the component mounting device M3 and change message information 33 (TE001_1) corresponding to the error code E001 is stored in the mounting memory unit 22. The error content display frame 51 is the same as the error screen 50. The recovery processing procedure display frame 54 displays the latest change message information 33 (TE001_1) corresponding to the error code E001. This allows appropriate information to be displayed for the user of the production equipment M.
[0041] As described above, the production equipment M (component mounting device M3) has an abnormality detection unit 24, a display unit 27, and an error screen display unit 23. The error screen display unit 23 displays error screens 50, 53 on the display unit 27 by referring to the first error screen information (original message information 32) or the second error screen information (changed message information 33) stored in the equipment-side error screen information storage unit (mounting storage unit 22).
[0042] Furthermore, the error screen display unit 23 gives priority to displaying the error screen 53 based on the latest second error screen information. For example, if original message information 32 (TE002_0) and two pieces of changed message information 33 (TE002_1, TE002_2) for the error code E002 are stored, the error screen display unit 23 displays the latest changed message information 33 (TE002_2) in the recovery processing procedure display frame 54 (see FIG. 3 ).
[0043] As described above, the production system 1 is an error screen display system that displays error screens 50, 53 corresponding to abnormalities detected by an abnormality detection unit 24 that detects abnormalities in the production equipment M on a display unit 27 of the production equipment M used at the production site, and includes an error screen display unit 23 that displays the error screens 50, 53 on the display unit 27, a memory unit (management memory unit 11, implementation memory unit 22) that stores error screen information 30 necessary for the error screen display unit 23 to display the error screens 50, 53 on the display unit 27, and an error screen editing unit 12 that provides a user interface (error screen editing screen 40) that accepts manual editing of the error screen information 30. This allows appropriate information to be displayed corresponding to the user of the production equipment M.
[0044] In the above, the production equipment M used in the component mounting lines L1 to L3 (production sites) that produce mounted boards has been described as an example of the production equipment, but the production sites and production equipment are not limited to these. For example, the production equipment may be the production equipment provided in a semiconductor production line (production site) that manufactures semiconductor products, the production equipment provided in an assembly production line (production site) that assembles workpieces such as electrical machinery and general machinery, or the production equipment provided in a food processing line (production site) that produces processed food products.
[0045] The error screen display system of the present invention has the effect of being able to display appropriate information in response to users of production equipment, and is useful in the field of component mounting where components are mounted on boards.
