[0003] Patent Document 1 describes a content management device that applies product information to a template for advertising content to create content data for POP advertising.

[0004] JP 2019-159461 A

[0005] In a store, for example, when the products displayed on the shelves change, a new POP needs to be created. In addition, a store needs to create a POP according to the products being advertised and the display location. Therefore, it can be difficult to come up with a POP.

[0006] One of the objects of the present disclosure is to provide a POP creation device or the like that makes it possible to easily create POPs.

[0007] A POP creation device in one aspect of the present disclosure includes a receiving means for receiving a POP creation instruction including information regarding a product to be advertised on a POP used in a store and conditions regarding the specifications of the POP, a POP creation means for creating a POP configuration including a string advertising the product using a trained generative model based on the creation instruction, and an output means for outputting the POP configuration.

[0008] An information transfer method in one aspect of the present disclosure receives an instruction to create a POP, which includes information about a product to be advertised on a POP used in a store and conditions regarding the specifications of the POP, and based on the creation instruction, uses a trained generative model to create a POP configuration including a string of characters advertising the product, and outputs the POP configuration.

[0013] Embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

[0014] First Embodiment First, an example of the configuration of a system including a POP creation device 10 will be described with reference to Fig. 1. Fig. 1 is a diagram showing an example of the configuration of a system including a POP creation device 10. Referring to Fig. 1, the POP creation device 10 is connected to a generation server 80 including a generation model 801, a store terminal 90, and a database 91 via a wired or wireless network.

[0015] The store terminal 90 is a terminal used by a person who wants to create a POP. The person who wants to create a POP is, for example, a store clerk or an employee who manages each store. An example of the store terminal 90 is a terminal used by a store clerk at a store where the POP is posted. The store terminal 90 may also be a terminal used by an employee at a base that manages each store. The store terminal 90 is, for example, a smartphone, a personal computer, or a tablet terminal. The store terminal 90 is not limited to these. The store terminal 90 may be any terminal that can be used by a person who wants to create a POP. The number of store terminals 90 is not limited to one. There may be multiple store terminals 90. When there are multiple store terminals 90, the store terminals 90 may include a terminal used by a store clerk at the store where the POP is posted and a terminal used by an employee at a base that manages each store. When there are multiple store terminals 90, the store terminals 90 may include terminals used by store clerks at different stores. Furthermore, if there are multiple store terminals 90, the store terminals 90 may include terminals used by employees at different locations.

[0016] The database 91 stores information about the store and information about products handled by the store. The database 91 may also store POPs that have been used in the store in the past. The database 91 may also store reaction information about POPs that have been used in the store in the past. The database 91 may also be included in the POP creation device 10.

[0017] The generative model 801 is used to create a POP configuration, which will be described in detail later.

[0018] Next, the configuration of the POP creation device 10 will be described with reference to Fig. 2. Fig. 2 is a block diagram showing an example of the configuration of the POP creation device 10. The POP creation device 10 includes a reception unit 101, a POP creation unit 102, and an output unit 103.

[0019] The reception unit 101 is one aspect of reception means for receiving instructions to create a POP, including information about products to be advertised on POPs used in stores and conditions related to POP specifications. POPs used in stores are advertisements that advertise products handled in stores. Information about products to be advertised on POPs used in stores is information necessary for advertising products using POPs. In other words, information about products to be advertised is information about the characteristics of the products. POP specifications are the character strings, images that make up the POP, or the shape and appearance of the POP itself. Conditions related to POP specifications are conditions for the character strings, images that make up the POP, or the shape and appearance of the POP itself. Conditions related to POP specifications are conditions that specify the specifications that the created POP must satisfy. The POP creation instructions received by the reception unit 101 include information about products to be advertised on POPs used in stores and conditions related to POP specifications. In other words, the POP creation instructions, which include information about the product to be advertised on the POP used in the store and conditions regarding the POP specifications, are instructions about what product and what specifications of POP to create.

[0020] The POP creation unit 102 is one aspect of a POP creation means that uses a trained generative model based on creation instructions to create a POP configuration including a character string advertising a product. The POP creation unit 102 creates a POP configuration based on creation instructions received by the reception unit 101. The POP to be created includes at least one of a character string and an image, as described above. The POP configuration refers to the appearance, external appearance, or design of the created POP. The POP configuration refers to the arrangement of the character string or image, which are components of the POP. The character string and image are created by the POP creation unit 102. Furthermore, the character string or image, which are components of the POP, meets conditions related to specifications.

[0021] The relationship between specifications and configuration will be explained. Specifications include specifications for the character strings and images that are components of the POP. Specification conditions include conditions that specify the specifications for the character strings and images that are components of the POP. In other words, the POP creation unit 102 generates character strings or images that satisfy the specification conditions for the product to be advertised. The POP creation unit 102 then creates the configuration of the POP in which the character strings or images are arranged.

[0022] The POP creation unit 102 inputs a prompt including information about products to be advertised on POPs used in stores and conditions related to POP specifications to the generative model 801. Then, the POP creation unit 102 obtains a result from the generative model 801. Referring again to FIG. 1 , a case will be described in which the POP creation device 10 is connected to the generation server 80 including the generative model 801 via a wired or wireless network. In this case, the POP creation unit 102 transmits a prompt including information about products to be advertised on POPs used in stores and conditions related to POP specifications to the generative model 801. Then, the POP creation unit 102 can receive a result, which is the configuration of the created POP, from the generative model 801.

[0023] Here, the generative model 801 may be provided in the POP creation device 10. Therefore, with reference to FIG. 3 , another example of the configuration of a system including the POP creation device 10 will be described. FIG. 3 is a diagram showing another example of the configuration of a system including the POP creation device 10. Referring to FIG. 3 , the POP creation device 10 includes the generative model 801. The POP creation unit 102 inputs information about products to be advertised on POPs used in stores and a prompt including conditions related to the POP specifications to the generative model 801. The POP creation unit 102 can then obtain a result, which is the configuration of the created POP, from the generative model 801. The configurations other than the configuration related to the generative model 801 are common to FIGS. 1 and 3 .

[0024] In the following description, the POP creation device 10 may be connected to a generation server 80 including a generation model 801 via a wired or wireless network. The POP creation device 10 may also be provided with the generation model 801.

[0025] The output unit 103 is one aspect of output means that outputs the configuration of a POP. The output unit 103 outputs the configuration of a POP created by the POP creation unit 102. The output unit 103, for example, stores the POP configuration as data in the database 91. The output unit 103 can also print the POP, for example. When the output unit 103 prints a POP, the output unit 103 transmits data of the POP configuration to a printing device (not shown). The printing device can then print the POP. The output unit 103 may output the POP configuration to, for example, a display device (not shown) or an audio output device (not shown). The method of output by the output unit 103 is not limited to these. The output unit 103 only needs to be able to make the POP usable.

[0026] 4, the operation of the POP creation device 10 including the reception unit 101, the POP creation unit 102, and the output unit 103 will be described.

[0027] First, in step S101, the receiving unit 101 receives a POP creation instruction. Next, in step S102, the POP creation unit 102 creates a POP configuration including a character string advertising a product based on the creation instruction, using the generative model 801. Furthermore, in step S103, the output unit 103 outputs the POP configuration.

[0028] In this embodiment, the POP creation device 10 includes a reception unit 101 that receives POP creation instructions, including information about products to be advertised on POPs used in stores and conditions related to POP specifications; a POP creation unit 102 that uses a generative model 801 to create a POP configuration including text advertising the products based on the creation instructions; and an output unit 103 that outputs the POP configuration. The POP creation device 10 creates a POP using the generative model 801 based on the received creation instructions. Therefore, for example, in order to create a POP that corresponds to the product to be advertised and the display location, it is possible to eliminate the need to consider the text and images to be included on the POP. In other words, the configuration of the POP creation device 10 makes it possible to simplify POP creation.

[0029] [Second Embodiment] A second embodiment will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. Below, the description of the second embodiment will be omitted to the extent that it does not make the description of the present embodiment unclear.

[0030] The configuration of the POP creation device 20 will be described with reference to Fig. 5. Fig. 5 is a block diagram showing an example of the configuration of a POP creation device. The POP creation device 20 includes a reception unit 201, a POP creation unit 203, and an output unit 204. The POP creation device 20 may also include a prompt creation unit 202. Here, the reception unit 201 corresponds to the reception unit 101, the POP creation unit 203 corresponds to the POP creation unit 102, and the output unit 204 corresponds to the output unit 103. Therefore, the POP creation device 20 may also include the prompt creation unit 202 in addition to the configuration of the POP creation device 10.

[0031] The reception unit 201, like the reception unit 101, receives instructions for creating a POP, including information about products to be advertised on the POP used in the store and conditions related to the specifications of the POP. First, the POP used in the store is an advertisement advertising the products handled in the store. The products advertised on the POP are products displayed on the shelves of the store. The products advertised on the POP may be one type of product or multiple types of products.

[0032] Furthermore, the products advertised by POPs used in stores may be products displayed in a designated section of the product shelves. A designated section of the product shelves is an area of the product shelves where products with common product information are displayed. In other words, the POP may advertise an entire section where products with common product information are displayed. For example, the POP may advertise a section where products with a common product category are displayed or a section where products with a common brand are displayed. Specific examples of sections where products with a common product category are displayed are the "sunscreen section" and the "insect repellent section."

[0033] Furthermore, the products advertised in the POP used in the store may include products related to an event held in the store. That is, the POP may advertise an event held in the store. An event held in the store may be, for example, a special sale event for products from a specific sales company or a new product launch event.

[0034] POPs used in stores are, for example, posted inside the store. Posting locations inside the store include, for example, product shelves, walls inside the store, doors, and hanging from the ceiling. POPs used in stores may also be posted outside the store. For example, POPs may be posted on the exterior walls of the store or on product shelves installed outside the store. Posting locations for POPs are not limited to these. POPs only need to be posted in a location where they can be seen by customers visiting the store.

[0035] POPs used in stores include text or images. POPs may include text and images. Here, images may include illustrations. The text and images are text and images related to the product advertised by the POP. In other words, the POP advertises the product using text and images related to the product advertised by the POP.

[0036] Next, information about the product to be advertised and conditions regarding the specifications of the POP will be described. The information about the product to be advertised and conditions regarding the specifications of the POP are included in the creation instructions.

[0037] First, information about the product to be advertised is information necessary to advertise the product with a POP. To advertise a product using a POP, the product's features may be included on the POP. In other words, the information necessary to advertise a product with a POP is information about the product's features. Therefore, an instruction to create a POP containing information about the product to be advertised is an instruction to create a POP to advertise the product's features.

[0038] Information about the advertised product includes, for example, the product name, product category, sales company, product price, the season in which the product is sold, the product features, or the start date of sales. If the advertised product is a product displayed in a specific corner of a shelf, the information about the advertised product may include the name of the corner. Furthermore, the information about the advertised product may include the period for which the corner is set up. If the advertised product is a product related to an event being held at the store, the information about the advertised product may include the name of the event or the period for which the event is held. Information about the advertised product is not limited to these. Information about the advertised product may be any information necessary to advertise the product.

[0039] Next, the conditions regarding POP specifications are conditions that specify the specifications that the created POP should preferably satisfy. Specifically, the specifications that the created POP should preferably satisfy are the shape, size, or color of the POP. Other specifications that the created POP should preferably satisfy are the content, number, or size of the character strings or images included in the POP. In other words, the conditions regarding POP specifications are conditions that indicate what kind of POP should be created. Therefore, a POP creation instruction that includes conditions regarding POP specifications is an instruction for what kind of POP should be created. The specifications that the POP should preferably satisfy are POP specifications that are effective for advertising a product.

[0040] The conditions regarding the POP specifications are, for example, conditions regarding the shape of the POP. Specific examples of POP shapes include rectangles, squares, circles, and ellipses. The POP shapes are not limited to these. The POP shape may also be a shape that resembles the product being advertised. The POP shape may also be, for example, a cloud shape or a sun shape. The POP shape may be any shape that can advertise the product.

[0041] The condition regarding the POP specifications is, for example, a condition regarding the size of the POP. The condition regarding the size of the POP is a specification of the size of the POP to be created. Furthermore, the condition regarding the size of the POP may be an upper limit of the size of the POP to be created. The condition regarding the size of the POP may vary depending on the shape of the POP. When the shape of the POP is rectangular or square, the condition regarding the size of the POP is, for example, the length of one side of the POP. A specific example of the condition regarding the size of the POP is 5 cm in height x 10 cm in width. When the shape of the POP is rectangular or square, the condition regarding the size of the POP may specify the length or width. Furthermore, when the shape of the POP is circular, the condition regarding the size of the POP is, for example, the radius or diameter of the POP. When the condition regarding the size of the POP is an upper limit of the size of the POP, the condition regarding the size of the POP is, for example, expressed as 10 cm in height x 20 cm in width. The conditions of the size of the POP are not limited to these.

[0042] The conditions regarding the specifications of the POP are, for example, conditions regarding the color of the POP itself. In other words, the conditions regarding the color of the POP itself are conditions regarding the background color of the text or image included in the POP. The conditions regarding the specifications of the POP may specify the color of the POP itself. The conditions regarding the specifications of the POP may also specify the color system of the POP itself. For example, the conditions regarding the specifications of the POP may specify the color of the POP itself to be a cool color. The conditions regarding the color of the POP itself are not limited to these. The conditions regarding the color of the POP itself may be any color that can effectively advertise the product.

[0043] The condition regarding the POP specifications is, for example, a condition regarding the character string included in the POP. One example of the condition regarding the character string included in the POP is the specification of the number of characters in the character string. The condition regarding the character string included in the POP may specify an upper or lower limit of the number of characters. The condition regarding the character string included in the POP may specify, for example, that the number of characters be 15 or less. Another example of the condition regarding the character string included in the POP is the specification of the character size. The condition regarding the character string included in the POP may specify multiple character sizes. For example, the condition regarding the character string included in the POP may specify that the character string includes 40-pt characters and 11-pt characters. Furthermore, the condition regarding the character string included in the POP may specify the character size depending on the information represented by the character string. For example, the condition regarding the character string included in the POP may specify the character size for the price of the advertised product. Furthermore, the condition regarding the character string included in the POP may specify different character sizes for the price of the advertised product and the description of the product. The condition regarding the character string included in the POP may specify the upper or lower limit of the character size. Another example of a condition related to the character string included in the POP is the specification of the character color. The condition related to the character string included in the POP may be candidate character colors. Another example of a condition related to the character string included in the POP is the specification of the character font. The condition related to the character string included in the POP may be candidate character fonts. The conditions related to the character string included in the POP are not limited to these. The condition related to the character string included in the POP may be a combination of the above-mentioned conditions. For example, one example of a combination of conditions related to the character string included in the POP is that the character size is 30 pt and the number of characters is one or less.

[0044] The conditions regarding the specifications of a POP are, for example, conditions regarding images included in the POP. An example of a condition regarding images included in the POP is specifying the number of images. A condition regarding images included in the POP may specify whether or not an image is included. A condition regarding images included in the POP may specify an upper or lower limit for the number of images. An example of a condition regarding images included in the POP is specifying the size of the images. A condition regarding images included in the POP may specify an upper or lower limit for the size of the images. An example of a condition regarding images included in the POP is specifying the shape of the images. The image shape may be, for example, rectangular, circular, or cloud-shaped. An example of a condition regarding images included in the POP is specifying the content of the images. A condition regarding images included in the POP may specify, for example, that the images are images of the product being advertised. Furthermore, a condition regarding images included in the POP may specify that the images are images that evoke the season in which the product will be used. The conditions regarding images included in the POP are not limited to these. A condition regarding images included in the POP may be a combination of the above conditions. The condition regarding the images included in the POP may be, for example, to specify one image of the product being advertised and two images that evoke the season in which the product will be used.

[0045] As mentioned above, images also include illustrations. Therefore, the conditions regarding the images included in the POP may be set for both the images and the illustrations. For example, the conditions regarding the images included in the POP may specify the number of images and the number of illustrations separately. Alternatively, the conditions regarding the images included in the POP may be set for both the images and the illustrations. For example, the conditions regarding the images included in the POP may specify the total number of images and illustrations included in the POP.

[0046] The conditions related to the POP specifications may include information about the store where the POP will be displayed. The specifications that the created POP should preferably meet may differ depending on the store where the POP will be displayed. Therefore, the conditions related to the POP specifications, including information about the store where the POP will be displayed, are conditions for creating a POP with specifications that match the store where the POP will be displayed. The specifications that the created POP should preferably meet may differ depending on, for example, the type of store where the POP will be displayed.

[0047] Store types are classified by, for example, store size. Specific examples of store size include large stores and small stores. A large store is a store that is larger than other stores and has a wide variety of products and a large inventory. A large store is, for example, a store located in a suburban area or a large shopping mall. On the other hand, a small store is a store that is smaller than other stores and handles a limited variety of products. A small store is, for example, a store located in a small store area, such as in front of a station or in a shopping district. When store types are classified by store size, the specifications that the created POP should satisfy may differ depending on the store size. For example, since a large store is large, it may be desirable for the POP size and the text size included in the POP to be large so that customers in the store can easily see them. On the other hand, a small store may not need a POP as large as a large store. However, since a small store handles a limited number of products, it may be necessary to specify the color and number of characters of the text included in the POP to draw attention to the POP of a featured product. Specifically, POPs displayed in small stores may have eye-catching lettering colors or shorter character strings advertising products.

[0048] Store types are classified, for example, by the type of merchandise they handle. An example of a store type classified by the type of merchandise they handle is a specialty store. A specialty store is, for example, a store that specializes in a specific product category. When displaying POPs in such specialty stores, it may be necessary to clearly distinguish the product advertised on the POP from other products in the same category. In other words, the POP displayed in the specialty store needs to clearly advertise the differences between the product and other products in the same category. To achieve this, it may be desirable for the text included in the created POP to clearly distinguish the differences between the product and other products in the same category. Furthermore, in order to advertise the differences between the product and other products in the same category, it may be desirable for the text included in the created POP to have a large number of characters. Furthermore, products in the same category may have similar appearances. Therefore, it may be necessary for customers to accurately recognize the appearance of the advertised product through the POP. To this end, it may be desirable for the POP to include an image of the product.

[0049] The types of stores are not limited to these. The above-mentioned POP specifications that are desirable for each type of store are merely examples and are not limited to these. The specifications that the created POP should desirably meet may be POP specifications that can effectively advertise products according to the type of store.

[0050] The specifications that a created POP should preferably satisfy may differ depending on the area in which the store displaying the POP operates. The area in which a store operates is, for example, an area classified by the attributes of the people who live there. The attributes of the people who live there include, for example, family structure, age group, or value perception regarding price. Thus, areas classified by the attributes of the people who live there include, for example, areas where many families live, areas where many single people live, areas where many students live, areas where many elderly people live, areas where many luxury-oriented customers live, areas where many low-cost customers live, etc. In other words, the specifications that a POP should preferably satisfy differ depending on the type of people who live in an area.

[0051] For example, it may be desirable for POPs displayed in stores operating in areas with many families to include many illustrations that attract children's attention. Furthermore, it may be desirable for the text included in POPs displayed in stores operating in areas with many families to be written in simple language so that children can easily read it. Furthermore, it may be desirable for the text included in POPs displayed in stores operating in areas with many families to be written in hiragana only so that children can easily read it. It may be desirable for the text included in POPs displayed in stores operating in areas with many elderly people to be large. Furthermore, it may be desirable for the text displayed in POPs displayed in stores operating in areas with many low-cost customers to be larger than the text displayed for other information. It may be desirable for the text included in POPs displayed in stores operating in areas with many low-cost customers to effectively advertise the prices. In other words, it may be desirable for POPs displayed in stores operating in areas with many low-cost customers to be POPs that can particularly advertise the prices of products.

[0052] The areas where stores operate are not limited to these. Furthermore, the above-mentioned POP specifications that are desirable depending on the area where the store operates are only examples, and are not limited to these. Any POP specifications that can effectively advertise products in the area where the store operates may be used.

[0053] The specifications that the created POP should preferably satisfy may vary depending on the attributes of the customers targeted by the store displaying the POP. Examples of customer attributes include family structure, age group, or value perception regarding price. Customer attributes may also include the customer's gender. For example, if the attributes of the store's target customers are women in their twenties, it may be desirable to make the POP itself pink and use a handwritten font for the text included on the POP. Furthermore, the attributes of people who frequently live in the area where the store operates may also be the attributes of the store's target customers. The attributes of the store's target customers are not limited to these. Furthermore, the desirable POP specifications depending on the attributes of the store's target customers are merely examples and are not limited to these. It is sufficient for the POP specifications to be able to effectively advertise products to the store's target customers.

[0054] The information about the store displaying the POP is, for example, the type of store displaying the POP, the area in which the store displaying the POP operates, or the attributes of customers targeted by the store displaying the POP. The type of store displaying the POP, the area in which the store displaying the POP operates, and the attributes of customers targeted by the store displaying the POP are as described above. The information about the store displaying the POP is not limited to these. The information about the store displaying the POP may be any store information that is necessary when creating the POP. Furthermore, the type of store displaying the POP, the area in which the store displaying the POP operates, or the attributes of customers targeted by the store displaying the POP, which are included in the information about the store displaying the POP, may be used in combination.

[0055] The conditions regarding the specifications of the POP may include a designation of the display location of the POP. The specifications that the created POP should preferably satisfy may differ depending on the display location of the POP. Therefore, the conditions regarding the specifications of the POP, including the designation of the display location of the POP, are conditions for creating a POP with specifications that match the display location of the POP.

[0056] The location where the POP is displayed needs to be a location where the POP can be used for advertising effectively. Specific examples of POP display locations include product shelves, walls inside the store, doors, hanging from the ceiling, etc. Specific examples of POP display locations also include the exterior walls of the store and product shelves installed outside the store.

[0057] The specifications that a created POP should satisfy may vary depending on where the POP is installed in a store. For example, the size of a POP that is hung from a wall, door, or ceiling of a store must be large enough to be recognizable by customers. Furthermore, the size of the text contained in the POP must be large enough that even customers located far from the POP can read the text. On the other hand, a POP displayed on a product shelf may be smaller than a POP displayed on a store wall, etc. Furthermore, a POP displayed on a product shelf may be more likely to be seen by people interested in the products displayed on that shelf. Therefore, it may be desirable for a POP displayed on a product shelf to have specifications that emphasize the features of the product. Furthermore, even if a POP is displayed on a product shelf near an entrance, for example, a POP promoting a new product may be desirable to have specifications that emphasize the release date of the product. In other words, it is desirable for the POP to convey to customers at a glance that the product is newly released.

[0058] The conditions regarding the specifications of the POP may include the display state of the product advertised by the POP. The specifications that the created POP should preferably satisfy may differ depending on the display state of the product advertised by the POP. Therefore, the conditions regarding the specifications of the POP, including the display state of the product advertised by the POP, are conditions for creating a POP with specifications that match the display state of the product advertised by the POP.

[0059] The display state of a product is, for example, the area of the shelf on which the product is displayed. In other words, the specifications that the created POP should preferably satisfy may differ depending on whether the product is displayed in a wide area or a narrow area. Specifically, a POP for advertising a product that is displayed in a wide area may be desired to have a larger size and larger characters than a POP for advertising a product that is displayed in a narrow area. Also, for example, it may be desired that the width of the shelf on which the product is displayed is approximately the same as the horizontal length of the POP. The POP specifications that are desired depending on the product display state are merely examples and are not limited to these. The specifications that the created POP should preferably satisfy may be POP specifications that can effectively advertise the displayed products depending on the product display state.

[0060] The conditions regarding the specifications of the POP may include information about the target to whom the product information is intended. This is because the specifications that the created POP should preferably satisfy may differ depending on the target to whom the product is advertised. The specifications of the POP to be created will differ depending on who is desired to see it. Therefore, it is necessary to use information about the target to whom the product information is intended to be displayed to create a POP with specifications that suit the person to whom the product information is intended to be displayed. Therefore, the conditions regarding the specifications of the POP, including information about the target to whom the product information is intended to be displayed, are conditions for creating a POP with specifications that match the target to whom the product information is intended to be displayed.

[0061] The target information for which the product information is appealing is, for example, information about the attributes, preferences, or constitution of the customers targeted by the product.

[0062] Examples of customer attributes include age, gender, family structure, and occupation. Specific examples of the family structure of customers targeted by a product include families, single people, and married couples. Specific examples of the occupations of customers targeted by a product include office workers who spend a lot of time outside, office workers who work in the same position for long periods of time, and housewives who do a lot of wet work. The specifications that a created POP should meet vary depending on the attributes targeted by the product. For example, the content of the text, the size of the text, and the number of characters included in the POP may vary depending on the target age of the product. Furthermore, the content of the text, the color of the text, the color of the POP, and the shape of the POP may vary depending on the target gender of the product. Furthermore, the content of the text, the size of the text, the number of characters, the content of the images, and the size of the images included in the POP may vary depending on the target family structure of the product. The content of the text, the size of the text, the number of characters, the content of the images, and the size of the images included in the POP may vary depending on the target occupation of the product. For example, if the target occupation of a product is office workers who work in the same posture continuously, an example of the content of the text to be included in the POP is "Recommended for those who work on a computer for long hours every day." It may be desirable to include text on the POP that corresponds to the target occupation of the product. Customer attributes are not limited to these. Customer attributes may be any information about customer attributes that is necessary to advertise the product. Furthermore, the specifications that the created POP should preferably satisfy are only examples and are not limited to these. The specifications that the created POP should preferably satisfy may be any specifications that can effectively advertise the product according to the customer attributes.

[0063] Customer preferences include, for example, preferences of the product's sales company, brand preferences, or scent preferences. The specifications that the created POP should preferably satisfy vary depending on the preferences of the customers targeted by the product. For example, if a product targets customers who like a specific brand, it may be desirable for the text included in the POP to include the name of the brand. Furthermore, if a product targets customers who like a specific scent, it may be desirable for the scent-related information in the text to be emphasized. Therefore, the text representing the scent-related information in the text may need to be a different size or color than the text representing other information. Customer preferences are not limited to these. Customer preferences are necessary for advertising a product and may be information about what the customer likes. Customer preferences are necessary for advertising a product and may be information about what the customer dislikes. The above-described specifications that the created POP should preferably satisfy are merely examples and are not limited to these. The specifications that the created POP should preferably satisfy may be specifications that allow the product to be effectively advertised in accordance with customer preferences.

[0064] Examples of customer constitutions include the customer's skin type, skin tone, hair type, whether or not they suffer from hay fever, and tolerance to alcohol. Specific examples of skin type include dry skin, oily skin, and sensitive skin. Specific examples of skin tone include light skin, dark skin, bluish skin, yellowish skin, and reddish skin. The specifications that a created POP should meet vary depending on the constitution of the target customer. For example, if a product targets customers with a specific skin type, it may be desirable for the text included in the POP to be text that will attract the attention of people with that skin type. Furthermore, if a product targets customers with a specific skin tone, it may be desirable to emphasize information about skin tone within the text. Therefore, the text representing information about skin tone within the text may need to be different in size or color from the text representing other information. Furthermore, if a product targets customers with hay fever, it may be desirable for the POP to include, for example, an illustration of a person sneezing. Customer constitutions are not limited to these. The customer's constitution may be any information about the customer's constitution that is necessary for advertising the product. The specifications that the created POP should preferably satisfy are only examples, and are not limited to these. The specifications that the created POP should preferably satisfy may be any specifications that can effectively advertise the product according to the customer's constitution.

[0065] The information on the target to which product information is being promoted is not limited to the above-mentioned examples, and may be any information on the target to which the product information is being promoted.

[0066] Next, a method in which the reception unit 201 receives a POP creation instruction will be described.

[0067] The reception unit 201 may receive a prompt including information about a product to be advertised on a POP used in a store and conditions regarding the specifications of the POP. In other words, an example of an instruction to create a POP is a prompt including information about a product to be advertised on a POP used in a store and conditions regarding the specifications of the POP.

[0068] Here, the prompt will be described with reference to FIG. 6 . FIG. 6 is a diagram showing an example of a prompt. Referring to FIG. 6 , in the prompt, the "# command" paragraph contains instructions for creating a POP. Then, the "# product" paragraph contains itemized information about the product to be advertised on the POP to be used in the store. In the example prompt of FIG. 6 , the information about the product to be advertised on the POP to be used in the store includes the product name, the sales start date, the sales company, and the product features. In the "# conditions" paragraph, the conditions related to the POP specifications are listed in itemized form. In the example prompt of FIG. 6 , information about the target to whom the product information is to be promoted, the POP display position, the POP size, and whether or not the POP will include an image are listed.

[0069] The prompt shown in FIG. 6 is an example. The format of the prompt is not limited to this. In the example prompt shown in FIG. 6, the instruction, product information, and specification conditions are written separately. However, the prompt may write the instruction, product information, and specification conditions together. The prompt may also be written in bulleted format as in the example prompt shown in FIG. 6. The prompt may also be written in sentence format. The content written in the prompt is not limited to the example prompt shown in FIG. 6. For example, the content written in the prompt may differ depending on the product, store, and posting location.

[0070] The prompt accepted by the accepting unit 201 may be modifiable. The POP creation unit 203, which will be described later, creates a POP based on the prompt accepted by the accepting unit 201. For example, a person who wants to create a POP may check the created POP and want to modify the prompt. In such a case, the person who wants to create a POP can modify the prompt. In other words, the accepting unit 201 can accept the modified prompt.

[0071] The receiving unit 201 may also receive a creation instruction on a screen on which product information and specification-related conditions can be input. That is, the receiving unit 201 receives an instruction to create a POP, product information, and specification-related conditions.

[0072] For example, a person who wants to create a POP inputs information about the product for which the POP is to be created on the screen. The person who wants to create the POP also inputs conditions related to the specifications of the POP to be created on the screen. The person who wants to create the POP then inputs instructions to create the POP on the screen. As a result, the receiving unit 201 can receive input of instructions to create the POP, information about the product, and conditions related to the specifications.

[0073] The input of information about the product for which a POP is to be created on the screen will be described. The information about the product for which a POP is to be created is as described above. The store terminal 90 displays a screen on which each piece of information about the product can be input in a selective manner. The store terminal 90 also displays a screen on which the person who wants to create a POP can input each piece of information about the product by freely writing it down. The person who wants to create a POP inputs the information about the product using, for example, the store terminal 90. The reception unit 201 then receives the input content from the store terminal 90.

[0074] 7 is a diagram showing an example of a screen for inputting information about a product for which a POP is to be created. Referring to FIG. 7, the screen displays fields for entering information about the product, such as the product number, product category, product name, sales company, product price, release date, sales season, and product features. A person who wants to create a POP can enter each piece of information by multiple choice or free description. For example, a person who wants to create a POP can enter the product name "ABC Sunscreen" in the product name field. Furthermore, a person who wants to create a POP can select the "summer" item in the sales season field, in which the product will be sold.

[0075] Here, the product number is information for identifying a product. The information for identifying a product is not limited to the product number. By inputting the product number, a person who wants to create a POP does not need to input any information other than the product number information. In other words, when the reception unit 201 receives a product number, it may obtain information about the product corresponding to the product number from, for example, the database 91. Specifically, product number information linking the product number with information about the product corresponding to the product number is stored, for example, in the database 91. Then, upon receiving the product number, the reception unit 201 can refer to the product number information stored in the database 91 and obtain information about the product corresponding to the product number. Therefore, by inputting the product number, a person who wants to create a POP does not need to input any information other than the product number.

[0076] The screen shown in Fig. 7 is an example, and the screen display is not limited to this. Any screen may be used as long as it allows a person who wants to create a POP to input product information necessary for creating the POP. Furthermore, the product information input on the screen is not limited to the example of the screen in Fig. 7. The product information input on the screen may be any information necessary for creating a POP.

[0077] Next, the input of conditions related to POP specifications on the screen will be described. The conditions related to POP specifications are as described above. The store terminal 90 displays a screen on which each of the conditions related to POP specifications can be input in a selective manner. The store terminal 90 also displays a screen on which a person who wants to create a POP can input each of the conditions related to POP specifications by freely writing them. The person who wants to create a POP inputs the conditions related to the POP specifications using, for example, the store terminal 90. Then, the reception unit 201 receives the input content from the store terminal 90.

[0078] FIG. 8 is a diagram illustrating an example of a screen for inputting conditions related to POP specifications. Referring to FIG. 8 , the screen displays fields for inputting conditions related to POP specifications, such as store information, the display position of the POP within the store, the size, color, and shape of the POP, conditions related to text included in the POP, and conditions related to images included in the POP. A person who wants to create a POP can input each piece of information by multiple-choice or free description. For example, a person who wants to create a POP can select "large store" in the store type field. Furthermore, a person who wants to create a POP can select "10 cm x 10 cm" in the POP size field. Furthermore, a person who wants to create a POP can input conditions related to images included in the POP, such as that the POP must include an image and that the image content must be a product image. The reception unit 201 then receives the input information from the store terminal 90.

[0079] The screen shown in Figure 8 is an example, and the screen display is not limited to this. Any screen may be used as long as it allows a person who wants to create a POP to input product information necessary for creating the POP. Furthermore, the product information input on the screen is not limited to the example screen shown in Figure 8. The product information input on the screen may be information necessary for creating a POP. Referring to the examples of screens shown in Figures 7 and 8, the screen for inputting product information and the screen for inputting conditions related to POP specifications can be selected on the screen by a person who wants to create a POP.

[0080] The screen for inputting product information and the screen for inputting conditions related to POP specifications are screens on which the input content can be modified even after the POP has been created by the POP creation unit 203, which will be described later. The POP creation unit 203, which will be described later, creates a POP based on the input content. Then, the person who wants to create a POP may want to check the created POP and change the input content. At this time, the person who wants to create a POP can modify the input content on the screen for inputting product information or the conditions related to POP specifications. In other words, the reception unit 201 can accept the modified input content on the screen for inputting product information and the screen for inputting conditions related to POP specifications. Then, the POP creation unit 203 can create a POP using the modified input content.

[0081] Here, reference is made again to FIGS. 7 and 8 . A person who wants to create a POP can select the “Prompt” tab to view a screen displaying a prompt created by the prompt creation unit 202 (described later). A person who wants to create a POP can modify the prompt on the screen displaying the prompt created by the prompt creation unit 202. In other words, the reception unit 201 may be able to accept modifications to the prompt on the screen displaying the prompt created by the prompt creation unit 202. A person who wants to create a POP can then select the “POP” tab to view a screen displaying a POP created by the POP creation unit 203 (described later). A person who wants to create a POP can check the created POP and modify the input contents on the screen for inputting product information and the conditions related to the POP specifications. In other words, the reception unit 201 can accept modified input contents on the screen for inputting product information and the screen for inputting conditions related to the POP specifications. A person who wants to create a POP can also check the created POP and modify the prompt. In other words, the reception unit 201 can accept modified prompts on the screen displaying the prompt.

[0082] Furthermore, product information and conditions regarding POP specifications may be input on the same screen, or may be input on multiple screens. Also, a person who wants to create a POP may input all of the product information and conditions regarding POP specifications in input fields on the screen. Also, a person who wants to create a POP may input the necessary product information and conditions regarding POP specifications from the product information and conditions regarding POP specifications in input fields on the screen.

[0083] When the reception unit 201 receives a prompt, product information or conditions related to POP specifications may be reflected on an input screen for product information and conditions related to POP specifications based on the prompt. That is, product information or conditions related to POP specifications included in the prompt may be reflected on an input screen for product information or conditions related to POP specifications. For example, if the prompt includes a store type, the information included in the prompt may be reflected in the store type field on the screen for inputting conditions related to POP specifications, as shown in FIG. 8 . Regarding product information, the information included in the prompt may also be reflected on a screen for inputting information about the product for which a POP is to be created, as shown in FIG. 7 . Furthermore, a person who wants to create a POP can additionally input product information or conditions related to POP specifications on the screen reflecting the information included in the prompt. That is, the reception unit 201 can receive additional input of product information or conditions related to POP specifications on the screen reflecting the information included in the prompt.

[0084] Furthermore, the reception unit 201 may accept a designation of a POP posting position on a screen displaying a map of the store. For example, the store terminal 90 displays a map of the store on its screen. Then, a person who wants to create a POP selects a posting position for the POP on the screen of the store terminal 90 displaying the map of the store. Here, the selectable posting positions are not limited to product shelves. The selectable posting positions also include walls, doors, and ceilings of the store. Then, the reception unit 201 can accept the selected POP posting position from the store terminal 90 as a designation of the POP posting position. The screen for selecting the POP posting position may include not only a map of the store interior but also a map of the exterior of the store. Including a map of the exterior of the store makes it possible to select a posting position outside the store. It is also possible to select a posting position for the POP inside the store taking into account the situation outside the store. Specifically, by referring to a map outside the store, a user can select a door facing the road as a posting position for the POP. By displaying a POP on a door facing the street, it is possible to advertise products not only to customers visiting the store but also to passersby on the street.

[0085] FIG. 9 is a diagram showing an example of a screen displaying a map of the interior of a store, which accepts the designation of a POP display position. The screen of FIG. 9 is displayed, for example, on a store terminal 90. Referring to FIG. 9, the layout of shelves within the store is displayed on the screen. Also, a map of the exterior of the store, showing the road facing the store, is displayed. In the example of FIG. 9, a product shelf near the entrance of the store is selected as the POP display position. The reception unit 201 can then accept the selected POP display position from the store terminal 90 as the designation of the POP display position. The screen displaying the map of the interior of the store is merely an example, and is not limited to this. The screen displaying the map of the interior of the store may be a screen on which the wall, door, or ceiling of the store can be selected as the display position. Furthermore, multiple POP display positions may be selected.

[0086] The reception unit 201 may further receive shelf allocation information for the display position for which the designation has been received. Shelf allocation information is information that represents the display status of products. Specifically, display shelves are linked to the products displayed on the display shelves. The shelf allocation information may also include the quantity of products displayed on the product shelves. The shelf allocation information may also include information on how many rows of products are displayed on the display shelves, that is, the range in which the products are displayed. The shelf allocation information for products is stored, for example, in the database 91. When the reception unit 201 receives the display position for the POP, it refers to the shelf allocation information stored in the database 91. Then, the reception unit 201 obtains the shelf allocation information for the position where the POP will be displayed. The shelf allocation information can be used to create POPs, which will be described later.

[0087] When the receiving unit 201 receives an instruction to create a POP, information about a product, and input of conditions related to specifications, the POP creation device 20 may include a prompt creation unit 202 .

[0088] The prompt creation unit 202 is one aspect of a prompt creation means that creates a prompt including product-related information and specification-related conditions based on a creation instruction. That is, when the reception unit 201 receives an instruction to create a POP, product-related information, and specification-related conditions, the prompt creation unit 202 creates a prompt based on the input content.

[0089] An example of a method by which the prompt creation unit 202 creates a prompt will be described. For example, the prompt creation unit 202 has information on a prompt type. The prompt type is a format of a prompt that instructs the creation of a POP. The prompt type may be, for example, a prompt format in which product information and specification conditions are listed in itemized form. The prompt type does not include specific product information and specification conditions. Therefore, the prompt creation unit 202 enters the received content in the prompt type in a position corresponding to the content received by the receiving unit 201. As a result, the prompt creation unit 202 creates a prompt that instructs the creation of a POP from the prompt type.

[0090] A specific example will be used to explain how the prompt generator 202 generates a prompt, as shown in FIG.

[0091] First, the receiving unit 201 receives "ABC Sunscreen" as the product name. The receiving unit 201 also receives "July 2023" as the product's release date. The receiving unit 201 further receives "DEF Corporation" as the sales company, and "has a tone-up effect" and "SPF50" as product features. At this time, the prompt creation unit 202 lists the product name, product release date, sales company, and product features in itemized form in the paragraph about product information in the prompt format.

[0092] The reception unit 201 also receives, as a condition regarding specifications, "women in their 20s," which is the attribute of customers targeted by the product. The reception unit 201 also receives "next to the entrance" as the display location of the POP. The reception unit 201 also receives "10 cm x 10 cm" as the size of the POP. The reception unit 201 also receives "image included" as a condition for the image to be included in the POP. The reception unit 201 also receives "image of the product" as the content of the image. At this time, the prompt creation unit 202 lists, in item form, the attribute of customers targeted by the product, the display location of the POP, the size of the POP, whether or not there is an image, and the content of the image in the paragraph regarding conditions regarding specifications in the prompt type.

[0093] The content received by the receiving unit 201 and the content of the prompt created by the prompt creating unit 202 are examples and are not limited to these. Furthermore, the way of writing product-related information and specification-related conditions is not limited to these. The prompt created by the prompt creating unit 202 may be written in a sentence format.

[0094] The method for generating a prompt by the prompt generation unit 202 is not limited to the above. The prompt generation unit 202 may generate a prompt using known sentence generation techniques. The prompt generation unit 202 may generate a prompt using, for example, a language model.

[0095] Next, the prompt creation unit 202 will be described when the reception unit 201 receives a prompt as a creation instruction. In this case, the prompt creation unit 202 may use the prompt received by the reception unit 201 as the prompt created by the prompt creation unit 202. Also, when the reception unit 201 receives a prompt as a creation instruction, the POP creation device 20 does not need to include the prompt creation unit 202.

[0096] When the POP creation device 20 includes the prompt creation unit 202, the reception unit 201 may receive both an instruction to create a POP, input of product information and specifications, and a prompt. The prompt creation unit 202 may also be included in the reception unit 201.

[0097] The reception unit 201 may accept the configuration of a POP previously used in the store. Furthermore, the reception unit 201 may accept information about a POP previously used in the store, linked to the configuration of the POP previously used in the store. The information about a POP previously used in the store is, for example, the display position of the POP, the sales of a product advertised on the POP, or the reputation of the POP. Specifically, the reception unit 201 may accept a POP previously used in the store that was well received by customers, or may accept a POP that was unpopular with customers. The reception unit 201 may accept a POP previously used in the store that resulted in good sales of the advertised product. In other words, the reception unit 201 may accept a POP that had a high advertising effect. Furthermore, the reception unit 201 may accept a POP previously used in the store that resulted in poor sales of the advertised product. In other words, the reception unit 201 may accept a POP that had a low advertising effect. The sales of the advertised product may be determined by a relative evaluation, or by an absolute evaluation based on a comparison with a threshold value or the like.

[0098] The POP previously used in the store may be a POP previously posted in the same store as the store displaying the POP created by the POP creation device 20. Alternatively, the POP previously used in the store may be a POP previously posted in a store different from the store displaying the POP created by the POP creation device 20. A store different from the store displaying the POP created by the POP creation device 20 is, for example, a store similar in size or business area to the store displaying the POP created by the POP creation device 20. In other words, the reception unit 201 can receive a POP previously posted in a store similar in size or business area to the store displaying the POP created by the POP creation device 20.

[0099] The reception unit 201 may receive a prompt including the configuration of a POP previously used in the store. The reception unit 201 may also receive image data of a POP previously used in the store. The reception unit 201 may also receive the configuration of a POP previously used in the store on a screen on which information about a product and conditions related to specifications can be input. The image data of the POP previously used in the store is stored in, for example, the database 91.

[0100] Similar to the POP creation unit 102, the POP creation unit 203 creates a POP configuration including a character string advertising a product using a trained generative model based on a creation instruction. The POP configuration refers to, for example, the content, size, number of characters, and color of the character string included in the POP. Furthermore, the POP configuration refers to, for example, the content, size, and number of images included in the POP. The POP configuration also refers to the shape, size, and color of the POP, and the arrangement of the character string or image included in the POP.

[0101] As described above, the POP creation device 20 may be connected to the generation server 80 including the generation model 801 via a wired or wireless network. The POP creation device 20 may also be provided with the generation model 801.

[0102] The creation of a POP using the generative model 801 will now be described.

[0103] First, the generative model 801 creates a POP configuration in accordance with product-related information and specification-related conditions included in the prompt input to the generative model 801 from the prompt creation unit 202. Then, the generative model 801 outputs the creation result, which is the created POP configuration, to the POP creation unit 203. In other words, the POP creation unit 203 obtains the creation result from the generative model 801.

[0104] The generative model 801 may be an existing model. The generative model 801 may also be a trained model that has learned the POP specifications that the POP should desirably satisfy, in accordance with product information and specification-related conditions. That is, the generative model 801 can create a POP with specifications that the POP should desirably satisfy, in accordance with product information. The POP with specifications that the POP should desirably satisfy, in accordance with product information, has been described above. The generative model 801 can create a POP with specifications that the POP should desirably satisfy, in accordance with specification-related conditions. The POP with specifications that the POP should desirably satisfy, in accordance with specification-related conditions, has been described above.

[0105] The generative model 801 may be a model that has learned the specifications of the POP that the POP should satisfy, depending on the content of the store information or the information of the target customers of the product. In this case, the generative model 801 can create the POP based on the conditions related to the product information and specifications included in the prompt.

[0106] The generative model 801 generates a character string advertising a product based on product information and specification-related conditions included in the prompt. In other words, the generative model 801 generates a character string advertising a product that satisfies the specification-related conditions.

[0107] The generative model 801 generates the content of the string advertising the product based on the product information and specification-related conditions included in the prompt. In other words, the generative model 801 generates the text and catchphrases advertising the product that are included in the POP. The generative model 801 generates the content of the string included in the POP using all or part of the product information included in the prompt. The generative model 801 can also generate the content of the string included in the POP based on the specification-related conditions included in the prompt. For example, the generative model 801 can generate the content of the text according to the store type included in the specification-related conditions.

[0108] When there are multiple pieces of information about a product, the generative model 801 may select which piece of information about the product to use in the character string included in the POP based on conditions related to specifications. For example, the reception unit 201 receives the product name, product price, and product features as information about the product. The reception unit 201 then receives, as a condition related to specifications, that the area in which the store operates is an area in which many customers who prioritize low prices live. In this case, the character string created by the generative model 801 may include the product price but not the product features. In other words, in a POP displayed in a store operating in an area in which many customers who prioritize low prices live, the advertising effect may be enhanced by highlighting the product price rather than the product features. Therefore, the generative model 801 generates a character string that does not include the product features but includes the product price.

[0109] The generative model 801 may determine the character size, color, font, etc. of the character string included in the POP based on product information and specification-related conditions. The specification-related conditions may include specifications for the character size, color, and font of the character string. In this case, the generative model 801 can create the character string as specified in the specification-related conditions.

[0110] The conditions related to the specifications may include, for example, information about the store and information about the target customers of the product. Here, the information about the store and the information about the target customers of the product do not directly specify the character size, color, font, etc. of the character string. However, the POP specifications that the POP should preferably satisfy differ depending on the information about the store and the information about the target customers of the product. In other words, it is desirable for the generative model 801 to create character strings, such as character size, color, font, etc., that are tailored to the target customers of the store or product where the POP is displayed. Specifically, the generative model 801 needs to create a POP that includes character strings that emphasize the information to be promoted, depending on the target customers of the store or product where the POP is displayed. The information about the store and the information about the target customers of the product are examples of information that do not directly specify the character size, color, font, etc. of the character string.

[0111] The generative model 801 generates an image or illustration advertising a product based on product information and specification-related conditions included in the prompt. In other words, the generative model 801 generates an image or illustration that satisfies the specification-related conditions.

[0112] The generative model 801 may determine the presence, content, size, etc. of an image to be included in the POP based on product information and specification-related conditions. The specification-related conditions may include specifications for the presence, content, size, etc. of an image. In this case, the generative model 801 can create an image as specified in the specification-related conditions.

[0113] The conditions related to the specifications may include, for example, information about the store and information about the target customers of the product. Here, the information about the store and the information about the target customers of the product do not directly specify the presence or absence of an image, its content, size, etc. However, the POP specifications that the POP should preferably satisfy differ depending on the information about the store and the information about the target customers of the product. In other words, it is desirable for the generative model 801 to create an image with content and size that matches the target customers of the store or product where the POP is displayed. Specifically, the generative model 801 needs to create a POP that includes an image or illustration with content that matches the target customers of the store or product where the POP is displayed. The information about the store and the information about the target customers of the product are examples of information that do not directly specify the presence or absence of an image, its content, size, etc.

[0114] If the specification conditions specify that an image of a product be included, the POP creation unit 203 may obtain an image of the product from the database 91. The database 91 stores product identification information and product images linked together. The POP creation unit 203 can then identify the product for which a POP is to be created based on the product information included in the prompt. The POP creation unit 203 then obtains an image of the product for which a POP is to be created. The generative model 801 may create a POP using the image of the product.

[0115] Furthermore, the generative model 801 can create a POP configuration in which a character string and an image are arranged. The type of the POP configuration may be determined in advance. For example, the position at which the character string and the position at which the image are arranged are determined in advance in the type. Therefore, the generative model 801 may create a POP configuration by arranging the created character string and image in the predetermined positions. The type of the POP configuration may be held in advance by the POP creation unit 203. The type of the POP configuration may also be stored in the database 91.

[0116] When the reception unit 201 receives the configuration of a POP that was previously used in the store, the generative model 801 can create a POP configuration based on the configuration of the POP that was previously used in the store. For example, when the reception unit 201 receives a POP that was previously used in the store and was well-received by customers, the generative model 801 can create a POP that resembles the POP that was previously used in the store. When the reception unit 201 receives a POP that was previously unreceived by customers, the generative model 801 can create a POP that is dissimilar to the POP that was previously unreceived by customers. When the reception unit 201 receives a POP that was previously used in the store and had a high advertising effect, the generative model 801 can create a POP that resembles the POP. When the reception unit 201 receives a POP that had a low advertising effect, the generative model 801 can create a POP that is dissimilar to the POP. Furthermore, if the reception unit 201 receives a POP that was previously used in a store different from the store where the created POP will be displayed, the generative model 801 can generate a POP similar to the POP.

[0117] Here, the generative model 801 that creates the POP is, for example, a language model. The language model can create, for example, character strings included in the POP, that is, advertising slogans and catchy slogans. For example, GPT-2 (Generative Pre-Training-2) or GPT-3 can be used as the language model. These language models are also called large-scale language models. Further, as the language model, T5 (Text-to-Text Transfer Transformer), BERT (Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers), RoBERTa (Robustly optimized BERT approach), or ELECTRA (Efficiently Learning an Encoder that Classifies Token Replacements Accurately) may be used. The language model is not limited to the above.

[0118] The generative model 801 may also be an image generative model. The image generative model can create, for example, images or illustrations to be published on POPs. A known generative model can be used as the generative model 801. The generative model 801 may also be composed of multiple models or a single model.

[0119] Furthermore, the generative model 801 may additionally learn the correspondence between the configuration of a POP used in the store in the past and reaction information of the POP. The POP reaction information is information about customer reactions to a POP used in the store in the past.

[0120] The POP reaction information includes customer reviews of POPs that have been used in the store in the past. Customer reviews of POPs mean whether the POPs used in the store in the past were well-received or unreceived by customers. In the store, for example, a store clerk can ask customers about their reviews of the POPs. The clerk then inputs the POP reviews he or she has heard from customers into the store terminal 90. The POP reviews are then linked to the configuration of the POPs used in the store in the past and stored in the database 91. In other words, the database 91 stores information on the configuration of POPs used in the store in the past and the reviews of those POPs.

[0121] Therefore, the generative model 801 can be made to additionally learn the correspondence between the configuration of POPs used in the store in the past and information on the reputation of those POPs. In other words, the generative model 801 additionally learns, for example, the configuration of POPs that were used in the store in the past and were well-received by customers, and the configuration of POPs that were unreceived by customers.

[0122] The POP response information includes sales of a product advertised by the POP. For example, the change in sales before and after advertising by the POP reflects the advertising effectiveness of the POP. Therefore, the sales of a product advertised by the POP are, for example, the sales of the product advertised by the POP before and after the POP is posted. Specifically, if sales after posting the POP are higher than sales before posting the POP, the advertising effectiveness of the POP is high. Therefore, the generative model 801 additionally learns the configuration of the POP as a POP configuration that is effective for advertising. On the other hand, if sales after posting the POP are the same as sales before posting the POP or are lower than sales before posting the POP, the advertising effectiveness of the POP is low. Therefore, the generative model 801 additionally learns the configuration of the POP as a POP configuration that is not effective for advertising.

[0123] The POP response information may include the sales of a product advertised by the POP and the expected sales or sales target of the product. Specifically, if the sales of a product advertised by the POP are the same as the expected sales or sales target of the product, or if they are higher than the expected sales or sales target, the advertising effect of the POP is high. Therefore, the generative model 801 additionally learns the configuration of the POP as a POP configuration that is effective for advertising. On the other hand, if the sales of a product advertised by the POP are lower than the expected sales or sales target of the product, the advertising effect of the POP is low. Therefore, the generative model 801 additionally learns the configuration of the POP as a POP configuration that is not effective for advertising. In other words, the generative model 801 additionally learns, for example, the configuration of a POP that was used in a store in the past and resulted in good sales of a product advertised by the POP, and the configuration of a POP that resulted in poor sales of a product advertised by the POP.

[0124] The sales amount of a product, the expected sales amount of the product, and the sales target are stored, for example, in a database 91. Data on POPs that have been used in the store in the past is also stored in the database 91. When additional learning is performed on the generative model 801, the sales amount of a product, the expected sales amount of the product, or the data on POPs that have been used in the store in the past stored in the database 91 can be used.

[0125] The output unit 204 outputs the configuration of a POP, similar to the output unit 103. As described above, the output unit 204 may transmit the POP data to a printing device, which then prints the POP. The output unit 204 may also store the configuration of the POP as POP data in the database 91, for example. For example, a person who wants to create a POP can print and use the POP data stored in the database 91. The POP data stored in the database 91 may also be used to display on an electronic shelf label. In other words, similar to the output unit 103, the output unit 204 only needs to be able to make the POP usable.

[0126] 10, the operation of the POP creation device 20 when the reception unit 201 receives a prompt as a creation instruction will be described. The POP creation device 20 includes the reception unit 201, a POP creation unit 203, and an output unit 204. FIG. 10 is a flowchart showing the operation of the POP creation device 20.

[0127] In step S201, the reception unit 201 receives a prompt including information about a product to be advertised on a POP used in a store and conditions regarding the POP specifications. In step S202, the POP creation unit 203 creates a POP configuration based on the prompt. In step S203, the output unit 204 outputs the POP configuration. Then, the POP creation device 20 ends its operation.

[0128] When the reception unit 201 receives a prompt as a creation instruction, the POP creation device 20 may include a prompt creation unit 202. The operation of the POP creation device 20 when the reception unit 201 receives a prompt as a creation instruction in the POP creation device 20 equipped with the prompt creation unit 202 will be described below. After step S201, the prompt creation unit 202 regards the prompt received by the reception unit 201 as the created prompt. Then, the operation of the POP creation device 20 proceeds to step S202.

[0129] 11 , the operation of the POP creation device 20 when the reception unit 201 receives a creation instruction on a screen on which product-related information and specification-related conditions can be input will be described. The POP creation device 20 includes the reception unit 201, a POP creation unit 203, an output unit 204, and a prompt creation unit 202. FIG. 11 is a flowchart showing the operation of the POP creation device 20.

[0130] First, in step S301, the reception unit 201 receives an instruction to create a POP, including product-related information and specification conditions. In step S302, the prompt creation unit 202 creates a prompt including product-related information and specification conditions. In step S303, the POP creation unit 203 creates a POP configuration based on the prompt. In step S304, the output unit 204 outputs the POP configuration. Then, the POP creation device 20 ends its operation.

[0131] In this embodiment, the POP creation device 20 includes a reception unit 201 that receives a POP creation instruction, including information about the product to be advertised on the POP used in the store and conditions related to the POP specifications; a POP creation unit 203 that uses a trained generative model to create a POP configuration including a character string advertising the product based on the creation instruction; and an output unit 204 that outputs the POP configuration. The POP creation device 20 creates a POP using the generative model 801 based on the received creation instruction. Therefore, for example, in order to create a POP that corresponds to the product to be advertised and the display location, it is possible to eliminate the need to consider the text and images to be included on the POP. In other words, the configuration of the POP creation device 20 makes it possible to simplify POP creation.

[0132] In stores, POP creators may consider the promotional slogans and catch phrases to be included on the POP, as well as the images and illustrations to be displayed on the POP, in accordance with the product being advertised using the POP. Furthermore, POP creators may consider the promotional slogans and catch phrases to be included on the POP, as well as the images and illustrations to be displayed on the POP, in accordance with the characteristics of the store where the POP will be displayed, the product's sales period, the product's target customers, and other factors. Creating a POP that is appropriate for the product being advertised, the characteristics of the store where the POP will be displayed, and the display location, etc., ensures that the created POP is effective in promoting the product. However, creating a POP that matches the product and the display situation can be tedious for the POP creator. Furthermore, creating a POP that matches the product and the display situation can be a time-consuming burden for the POP creator. Therefore, by having the POP creation device 20 create a POP based on POP creation instructions, the burden of creating a POP can be reduced. In other words, the configuration of the POP creation device 10 makes it possible to simplify POP creation. Furthermore, since the creation instructions received by the reception unit 201 include product-related information and specification conditions, POPs can be created that are suited to the product being advertised and the display situation. In other words, the POP creation device 20 can create POPs that are effective for promoting products. By being able to create POPs that are effective for promoting products, stores can inform customers of product information about products displayed in the store. Furthermore, stores can increase sales through the advertising effects of POPs. Furthermore, customers can understand product information by looking at POPs. In other words, the POP creation device 20 can save customers the trouble of having to research products themselves. Furthermore, by allowing customers to understand product information through POPs, it is possible to increase the product options available to customers. In other words, customers can purchase products that meet their needs from a wider range of options, thereby improving customer convenience.

[0133] In this embodiment, the POP creation device 20 further includes a prompt creation unit 202 that creates a prompt including product information and specification-related conditions based on a creation instruction, and the reception unit 201 accepts the creation instruction on a screen on which the product information and specification-related conditions can be input. A person who wants to create a POP inputs product information and specification-related conditions using, for example, a store terminal 90. The reception unit 201 then accepts the creation instruction including the product information and specification-related conditions from the store terminal 90. The prompt creation unit 202 then creates a prompt including the product information and specification-related conditions based on the creation instruction. This configuration allows even a person who is unfamiliar with prompt creation to issue a POP creation instruction. It also reduces the effort required to create an appropriate prompt.

[0134] In order to create a POP that satisfies product information and specification-related conditions, it may be necessary to input an appropriate prompt into the generation model 801. However, people who are not familiar with creating prompts may find it difficult to create an appropriate prompt. Even people who are familiar with creating prompts may find it tedious to create a prompt every time they create a POP. Therefore, a person who wants to create a POP inputs product information and specification-related conditions using, for example, a store terminal 90. Then, the POP creation device 20 creates a prompt based on the input content, thereby reducing the effort required of the person who wants to create a POP.

[0135] In the POP creation device 20 according to this embodiment, the creation instruction is a prompt including information about the product and conditions related to its specifications, and the POP creation unit 203 uses a trained generative model to create a POP configuration including a character string advertising the product based on the prompt. The reception unit 201 receives the prompt itself as a creation instruction. The POP creation unit 203 then creates the POP configuration based on the prompt. By having the reception unit 201 receive the prompt, the POP creation device 20 can omit processing related to the prompt, such as the creation of the prompt. In other words, the POP creation device 20 can reduce processing.

[0136] Furthermore, by having the reception unit 201 accept a prompt, it is possible to omit prompt-related processing, such as the creation of a prompt. As a result, the POP creation device 20 can prevent errors when creating a prompt. An error when creating a prompt is, for example, an error in which part of the content accepted by the reception unit 201 is not included in the created prompt. The content accepted by the reception unit 201 is, for example, information about a product to be advertised on a POP used in a store and conditions related to the POP specifications. If such an error occurs, it may be impossible to create an appropriate POP that is in accordance with the information about the product to be advertised on the POP and the conditions related to the POP specifications. In other words, the POP creation device 20 may not be able to create a POP that is effective for promoting a product. On the other hand, by having the reception unit 201 accept a prompt, it is possible to prevent the above-mentioned error. In other words, the POP creation device 20 can create a POP that is effective for promoting a product. Therefore, the configuration of the POP creation device 20 makes it possible to create a POP that is effective for promoting a product.

[0137] In the POP creation device 20 according to this embodiment, information about a product to be advertised in a POP includes at least one of the product name, product features, product category, or season in which the product is sold. A POP is an advertisement for a product. Therefore, to create a POP, at least one of the product name, product features, product category, or season in which the product is sold is required as product information. Furthermore, the specifications of the POP may differ depending on the product to be advertised in the POP. In other words, to create a POP that is effective for promoting a product, it may be necessary to change the specifications of the POP depending on the information about the product. Therefore, by including at least one of the product name, product features, product category, or season in which the product is sold in the product information, it becomes possible to create a POP that is appropriate for the product to be advertised. In other words, the POP creation device 20 is capable of creating a POP that is effective for promoting a product.

[0138] In the POP creation device 20 according to this embodiment, the conditions regarding specifications include information about the store where the POP will be displayed. The specifications that a POP should preferably meet may differ depending on the store where the POP will be displayed. In other words, the specifications of a POP that are effective for advertising may differ depending on the store where the POP will be displayed. Therefore, by including the conditions regarding specifications information about the store where the POP will be displayed, it is possible to create a POP with specifications that suit the store where the POP will be displayed.

[0139] The information about the store displaying the POP includes the type of store displaying the POP, the area where the store displaying the POP operates, or the attributes of customers targeted by the store displaying the POP. Desirable POP specifications vary depending on the type of store displaying the POP, the area where the store displaying the POP operates, or the attributes of customers targeted by the store displaying the POP. In other words, the specifications of a POP that is effective for advertising a product may vary depending on the type of store displaying the POP, the area where the store displaying the POP operates, or the attributes of customers targeted by the store displaying the POP. Therefore, by including the information about the store displaying the POP as the type of store displaying the POP, the area where the store displaying the POP operates, or the attributes of customers targeted by the store displaying the POP, it becomes possible to create a POP that is effective for advertising a product depending on the situation in which the POP is displayed.

[0140] Specifically, the desired specifications of a POP differ depending on the type of store, for example, whether it is a large store or a small store. For example, if the type of store is a specialty store, the text on the POP may emphasize the difference between the product and other products in the same category, resulting in an effective POP for advertising. For example, if the store is located in an area with many families, displaying a POP that includes images or illustrations that will interest children may be effective in advertising the product. These are examples of when the desired specifications of a POP differ depending on the store where the POP is displayed.

[0141] In the POP creation device 20 according to this embodiment, the specification conditions include the specification of the POP display position within the store. The specifications that a POP should preferably satisfy vary depending on the location within the store where the POP is displayed. In other words, the specifications of a POP that are effective for advertising a product may differ depending on where the POP is displayed within the store. Therefore, by including the specification conditions in the specification of the POP display position within the store, it becomes possible to create a POP that is effective for advertising a product depending on the POP display position.

[0142] In this embodiment, the reception unit 201 of the POP creation device 20 receives shelf allocation information for the display position. The POP creation unit 203 of the POP creation device 20 then creates a POP configuration based on the product display status included in the shelf allocation information. In a store, a POP may be created according to the display status of a product to be promoted. For example, the size of a POP may vary depending on the number of rows in which the promoted product is displayed on a product shelf. In such a case, a person creating a POP may check the shelf allocation information and create a POP according to the shelf allocation information. This work is time-consuming for the person creating the POP. Therefore, by having the reception unit 201 receive shelf allocation information for the POP display position, the shelf allocation information can be used to create the POP. This makes it possible to create a POP according to the shelf allocation information. As a result, the time and effort required by the person creating the POP can be reduced. In other words, the configuration of the POP creation device 10 facilitates POP creation. Furthermore, by creating a POP according to the shelf allocation information, it becomes possible to create a POP that is effective for promoting a product.

[0143] In the POP creation device 20 according to this embodiment, the specification conditions are conditions related to the size of the POP. The size of the POP to be created may vary depending on, for example, the space available for displaying the POP, the size of the text or images to be included on the POP, etc. Therefore, by including a condition related to the size of the POP in the specification conditions, it is possible to create a POP of an appropriate size depending on the display position and the text or images included on the POP.

[0144] In the POP creation device 20 according to this embodiment, the specification conditions are conditions related to the character string included in the POP. The character string conditions include designation of the character size, color, or number of characters. The specification conditions are conditions related to the images included in the POP. The image conditions include designation of the image size or number of images. In stores, POP creators may create POPs that are effective for advertising products by devising the character strings, image sizes, and colors included in the POP. Therefore, since the specification conditions are conditions related to the character string included in the POP, the POP creation device 20 can create POPs that are effective for advertising. Furthermore, since the specification conditions are conditions related to the images included in the POP, the POP creation device 20 can create POPs that are effective for advertising.

[0145] In the POP creation device 20 according to this embodiment, the specification conditions include information about the target to which the product-related information is addressed. The target to which the product-related information is addressed is, for example, the target customers of the advertised product. The specifications that a POP should ideally meet may differ depending on the target customers of the advertised product. In other words, the specifications of a POP that is effective for advertising may differ depending on the customers of the advertised product. Therefore, by including information about the target to which the product-related information is addressed in the specification conditions, the POP creation device 20 is able to create a POP tailored to the target of the product being advertised. Furthermore, the information about the target to which the product-related information is addressed includes, for example, information about the attributes, preferences, or constitution of the target customers of the product. The content of the text, font size, image content, and so forth included in the POP vary depending on the customer's attributes, preferences, or constitution. In other words, it is desirable that the POP created by the POP creation device 20 be a POP that attracts the attention of customers with the attributes, preferences, or constitution of the advertised product. Therefore, the configuration of the POP creation device 20 makes it possible to create an effective POP for the target customers of the product.

[0146] In this embodiment, the POP creation device 20 uses the POP creation unit 203 to create a POP configuration including a character string advertising a product contained in the POP, using a generation model 801 that has been additionally trained on the correspondence between the configuration of POPs used in the store in the past and the reaction information of the POP. Here, the POP reaction information includes customer reviews of the POP. If a POP previously displayed in the store was well-received, creating a POP similar to the POP may result in a newly created POP being well-received by customers. On the other hand, if a POP previously displayed in the store was unpopular, creating a POP similar to the POP may result in a newly created POP being unpopular with customers. Therefore, by having the generation model additionally learn the configuration of POPs previously used in the store and customer reviews of the POP, it becomes possible to create a POP that is well-received by customers. Creating a POP that is well-received by customers makes it possible to effectively advertise a product using the POP. Furthermore, the POP reaction information includes sales of the product advertised in the POP. For example, the change in sales before and after a POP advertisement may reflect the effectiveness of the POP advertisement. Therefore, by additionally learning the configuration of POPs used in a store in the past and the sales of products advertised with those POPs, the generative model can create POPs that are effective in increasing sales.
