Description

Description Title: Cosmetic product packaging device Technical field

[0001] This disclosure relates to the field of cosmetic product packaging devices. Prior art

[0002] In the field of cosmetic products, a cosmetic product packaging device is known comprising a base forming a housing for receiving at least one cosmetic product and a cover adapted to close the housing in the base. The cover may in particular be pivotally mounted on the base to selectively open and close the housing in the base. The cover may in particular comprise a frame and a covering shell, fixed to the frame by elastic fitting (or "clipping") of complementary elastic fitting reliefs. The cover may receive a mirror, on its face facing the base.

[0003] For reasons of recycling the elements of such a packaging device, in particular, it is preferable that the various elements constituting the packaging device can be dismantled, in particular the mirror where applicable.

[0004] JPH10-A-66622 and JP-A-2000-157328 describe examples of such a packaging device in which a coin is inserted into a slot in the cover shell to separate the cover shell from the chassis. The slot is provided on an external face of the cover shell, accessible when the packaging device is in the closed position.

[0005] EP-A-4 144 256 describes another similar example, in which a tool, for example a pen, is implemented in a slot, accessible only when the cover is open.

[0006] In JP-A-10033256, the slot for inserting a coin to disassemble the chassis and the covering shell is made in the chassis and is only accessible for inserting a coin when the cover is in the open position.

[0007] Using a tool, such as a coin or a pen, to separate the trim shell from the cover frame can be perceived as complex.

[0008] Furthermore, US-A-2005 / 0115863 describes an example of a packaging device in which an elastic fitting tab of the covering shell is received in a slot of the chassis, such that the tab protrudes when the cover is opened. Thus, by deforming the tab, it is possible to remove the tab from the slot and, thus, release the covering shell from the cover.

[0009] However, such a fixing by receiving a protruding tab in a slot is not very aesthetic. In addition, in this document, a mirror is glued to the face of the frame facing the base, which makes its removal difficult and hinders the possibilities of recycling the frame. Summary

[0010] This disclosure improves the situation.

[0011] A device is proposed for packaging at least one cosmetic product comprising: - a base forming a housing for receiving at least one cosmetic product; - a cover adapted to close the housing in the base, the cover being pivotally mounted on the base; the cover comprising, preferably consisting of, a chassis, a hood fixed on the chassis by elastic fitting of at least one first elastic fitting relief formed on the chassis with at least one second complementary elastic fitting relief, formed on the hood, and a mirror, in contact with a bearing surface formed by the chassis, facing the hood, the elastic fitting of the at least one first elastic fitting relief with the at least one second complementary elastic fitting relief being accessible so as to be disassembled without requiring the use of a tool, only when the cover is in an open position.

[0012] Thus, advantageously, it is possible to dismantle the various constituent elements of the packaging device, without requiring tools. The aesthetic appearance of the packaging device is also preserved, the elastic casing being accessible only when the packaging device is open. Finally, the packaging device allows the mirror to be fixed without using glue, which facilitates its dismantling.

[0014] According to another aspect, there is described an assembly comprising: - a packaging device as described above in all its combinations, in which the base comprises a covering shell and a palette fixed inside the covering shell, the palette defining at least one housing for receiving at least one cosmetic product, the palette being fixed inside the covering shell in a removable manner, in particular by removable elastic fitting without damaging the covering shell or the palette; and - a second palette of cosmetic product adapted to be received, preferably fixed, in the covering shell, the second palette preferably being covered with protection and / or received in a closed bag.

[0015] According to another aspect, a device for packaging at least one cosmetic product is described, comprising: - a base forming a housing for receiving at least one cosmetic product; - a cover adapted to close the housing in the base, the cover being pivotally mounted on the base; the cover comprising, preferably consisting of, a frame, a hood fixed on the frame by elastic fitting of at least one first elastic fitting relief formed on the frame with at least one second complementary elastic fitting relief, formed on the hood, the elastic fitting of the at least one first elastic fitting relief with the at least one second complementary elastic fitting relief being accessible so as to be disassembled without requiring the use of a tool, only when the cover is in an open position, the at least one first elastic fitting relief comprises a hole and the second elastic fitting relief comprises a stud adapted to be received in the hole, the stud being on an elastically deformable blade.

[0016] Preferably, the device for packaging at least one cosmetic product comprises a mirror in the cover, in contact with a support surface formed by the frame, facing the hood.

[0017] More preferably, the packaging device for at least one cosmetic product may then have one or more of the characteristics listed above, taken alone or in combination. Brief description of the drawings

[0036] Figure 1 illustrates an example of a device 10 for packaging a cosmetic product, for example an eyelid makeup box, of the “palette” type, receiving an applicator element.

[0037] The packaging device 10 is here of generally parallelepipedal shape. The packaging device comprises a base 12, forming a first housing 14 for receiving at least one cosmetic product, and a cover 16. The cover 16 is pivotally mounted on the base 12, around an axis A of rotation of the cover 16 relative to the base 12, between a closed position, illustrated in FIG. 1, for closing the housing 14 in the base 12, and a plurality of open positions, one of which is illustrated by way of example in FIG. 2, which corresponds to a position suitable for the removal of cosmetic product P1-P5 by a user to apply makeup, the user holding for example the base 12 in one hand and an applicator element in the other hand.

[0038] As can be seen in particular in Figure 3, the cover 16 comprises a frame 18, a hood 20, fixed on the frame 18, and a mirror 22. The base 12, as illustrated in Figure 3, comprises a covering shell 24, a palette 26 fixed inside the covering shell 24, a plurality of cosmetic products P1-P5 each received in a respective housing of the palette 26, and a protection 28 of the palette 26, protecting in particular the cosmetic products P1-P5 received in the palette 26. The protection 28 may in particular take the form of a film or a shell, fixed to the palette 26.

[0039] The cover 16 of the packaging device 10 is first described in more detail.

[0040] As can be seen in Figure 4 and Figure 5, the chassis 18 essentially forms a frame 30 and a base 32 extending essentially outside the plane of the frame 30. The base 32 is generally parallelepipedal in shape. The base 32 is hollow. The base 32 may in particular form a bowl, open on one face. For example, the base 32 opens, as illustrated, onto a face 33 adjacent to the frame 30. The base 32 has two cylindrical holes 34, with a circular section, extending in the direction of the axis A of rotation of the cover 16 relative to the base 12. On a face of the base 32 intended to be oriented towards the interior of the packaging device 10 when the latter is closed, the base 32 has a recess 36. A hole 38, here oblong, passes through a wall of the base 32, in a direction perpendicular to the axis A of rotation of the cover 16 relative to the base 12.The oblong hole 38 opens at the level of the recess 36, on the one hand, and inside the base 32, on the other hand. Preferably, the wall 40 of the base 32, opposite the wall having the hole 38, is solid. The wall delimiting the hole 38 may have protruding reliefs in the plane of the opening of the hole 38.

[0041] The frame 30 is here of generally rectangular shape. The frame 30 forms a first rim 42 on its front face, intended to be oriented towards the base 12 of the packaging device 10.

[0042] The frame 30 also forms a groove 44, adapted to receive the mirror 22. In particular, the frame 30 can form a bearing surface 46 for a peripheral portion of the mirror 22, the bearing surface 46 being intended to be arranged between the mirror 22 and the base 12 of the device. packaging 10, in the closed position of the packaging device 10. The mirror 22 is thus able to be inserted into the groove 44 of the frame 30 from a face oriented towards the cover 20, in the assembled packaging device 10. The bearing surface 46 is oriented towards the cover 20 of the cover 16.

[0043] The frame 30 also forms first ridges 48, projecting relative to the groove 44. Here, two first ridges 48 are formed on two opposite sides of the frame 30. Each first ridge 48 makes it possible to hold the mirror 22 in position in the groove 44. To ensure the fixing of the mirror 22 in the frame 30, the latter can be elastically deformable, thus allowing the insertion of the mirror 22 in the groove 44, despite the presence of the first ridges 48. The mirror 22 is thus fixed in the chassis 18, in particular in the frame 30 of the chassis 18, by elastic fitting. Preferably, no glue is used to fix the mirror 22 on the frame 30.

[0044] The frame 30 also has, on an outer face of its side opposite the base 32, two niches 50. Also on the side opposite the base 32, but on its inner face, the frame 30 forms a first elastic fitting tongue 52, with an elastically deformable tongue and a rigid stop notch, notably more rigid than the tongue.

[0045] The mirror 22 is preferably flat, with a shape complementary to the shape of the groove 44 of the frame 30 of the chassis 18 in which it is received. The mirror 22 may in particular be formed from a metal sheet glued to a glass plate. The face of the glass plate opposite the metal sheet may be covered with a coating, in particular a tin.

[0046] The cover 20 of the lid 16, as illustrated in FIG. 6 and FIG. 7, is essentially cup-shaped, defining a second hollow housing 53. The cover 20 has a substantially flat bottom 20f and a rim 20r extending all around the bottom 20f, substantially in a direction normal to the bottom 20f. On one side, the cover 20 forms, in the extension of the rim 20r, a support 54 for an elastically deformable blade 56. A projecting relief 58 is formed on the blade 56. The support 54, the blade 56 and the projecting relief 58 may extend in different planes, in particular parallel planes. In particular, the extension plane of the blade 56 can be arranged between the extension planes of the support 54 and the projecting relief 58. The support 54 and / or the projecting relief 58 is / are here more rigid than the blade 56. The projecting relief 58 has a section complementary to the hole 38 of the base 32 of the chassis 18. Here, the projecting relief 58 thus has the shape of an oblong nipple. The protruding relief 58 is for example formed by embossing, stamping or molding the blade 56.

[0047] On the side opposite the support 54, the cover 20 has a button 60 on the outer face of the rim 20r. On the opposite face, facing the inside of the cover 20, the rim 20r has a recess 62 arranged opposite the button 60. Furthermore, here, on either side of the button 60, the cover 20 forms, on the rim 20r, lugs 64 projecting towards the inside of the cover 20.

[0048] The covering shell 24 of the base 12, as illustrated in FIG. 8 and FIG. 9, also has a general bowl shape, with a bottom 24f and a rim 24r extending all around the bottom 24f, in a direction normal to the bottom 24f. The covering shell 24 also forms two legs 66 spaced apart from each other, each with a cylindrical hole 68, of circular section. In each leg 66 is provided with a housing 70, each adapted to receive a tab 71 of the respective pallet 66, as will be described later.

[0049] The two legs 66 define, with the rim 24r, a recess 72 in the covering shell 24. The external face of the rim 24r forms a boss 74, projecting into the recess 70.

[0050] On the side opposite the legs 66, the edge 24r of the covering shell 24 has two slots 76, here rectilinear. Between the two slots 76, the covering shell 24 forms a projecting rod 78, extending from the bottom 24f of the covering shell 24.

[0051] The palette 26, as illustrated in FIG. 10 and FIG. 11, forms a plurality of recesses 80 each adapted to receive a cosmetic product P1-P5. Each cosmetic product P1-P5 is, for example, a foundation, a poured lipstick or an eyeshadow. Each cosmetic product P1-P5 is, for example, in the form of compressed powder, liquid or gel. A housing 82 is also provided in the palette 26 to receive one or, here, two applicator devices for the cosmetic products P1-P5.

[0052] The pallet 26 also has a through opening 84 in the vicinity of a first side. On the first side, the pallet 26 forms a first rim 86, with three projecting tabs 88, extending in the plane of the first rim 86. One of the tabs 88, central, is made opposite a second tab 89, set back from the first rim 86, thus surrounding the through opening 84 in the pallet 26, on its face intended to be oriented towards the covering shell 24 of the base 12. The second tab 89 is substantially longer than the central tab 88 and, preferably, substantially the same length as the two tabs 88 furthest from each other.

[0053] Furthermore, two projecting edges 90 are also formed on the first rim 86, here substantially opposite the two legs 88 furthest from each other. The two edges 90 extend outside the plane of the rest of the first rim 86.

[0054] The pallet 26 forms a second rim 92, on a side opposite the first rim 86. The second rim 92 forms the two elastic fitting tabs 71 intended to be received in the housings 70 formed in the tabs 66 of the covering shell 24.

[0055] Furthermore, the pallet 26 forms second ridges 94 around the perimeter of the area in which the recesses 80 and the housing 82 are formed. The pallet 26 is adapted to rest on a flat support, by the second ridges 94 together with the two legs 88 furthest from each other and the second leg 89.

[0056] The assembly of the packaging device 10 is carried out as follows, the different steps being able a priori to be carried out in any order, apart from the fixing of the mirror 22 on the chassis 18, which is to be carried out here before the cover 20 is fixed on the chassis 18.

[0057] The mirror 22 is first elastically fitted onto the frame 18, in particular into the groove 44 of complementary shape. The mirror 22 is inserted into the groove 44, from the face of the frame 18 intended to be oriented towards the cover 20 of the lid 16, until it is in contact with the bearing surface 46. The mirror 22 being held in position by the shape of the groove 44 and by the first ridges 48 provided on the frame 18, substantially opposite the bearing surface 46.

[0058] The cover 20 can then be fixed on the chassis 18. To do this, the lugs 64 of the cover 20 are first inserted inside the niches 50 of the chassis 18. The cover 20 is then pivoted, keeping the lugs 64 inside the chassis 18. Firstly, the support 54, the blade 56 and the stud 58 of the cover 20 are then made to penetrate inside the base 32, via its open face 33. By continuing the pivoting movement of the cover 20, the stud 58 is elastically fitted inside the hole 38 formed on the base 32. The cover 20 is then fixed on the chassis 18.

[0059] The chassis 18 can then be fixed to the covering shell 24. To do this, the base 32 of the chassis 18 is placed in the recess 72 between the lugs 66 of the covering shell 24, so that the holes 68 on the lugs 66 of the covering shell 24 are aligned with the holes 34 on the base 32 of the chassis 18. Two cylindrical pins 96 with a circular cross-section are then inserted into the holes 68, 34. The pins 96 are, for example, mounted tightly in the holes 68 of the lugs 66 of the covering shell 24, while a clearance can be maintained between the wall of the holes 34 on the base 32 and the pins 96, to allow the chassis 18 to pivot relative to the pins 96 and therefore to the covering shell 24, around the axis A of rotation of the cover 16 around the base 12.

[0060] Then, as illustrated in Figure 15, the pallet 26 is elastically fitted onto the covering shell 24. To do this, the projecting edges 90 on the first rim 86 of the pallet 26 are inserted into the slots 76 of the covering shell 24. Then, the pallet 26 is pivoted until the tabs 71 of the pallet 26 elastically fit into the housings 70 provided for this purpose in the covering shell 24. Once fixed onto the covering shell 24, the pallet 26 rests by the second ridges 94 and by the second tab 89, on the bottom 24f of the covering shell 24. The second ridges 94 which also extend on the sides of the pallet 26 can contribute to its wedging in the covering shell 24.As visible in Figure 13, in this position, the second leg 89 of the pallet 26 is in contact with the rod 78 projecting from the bottom 24f of the covering shell 24, contributing to maintaining the position of the pallet 26 in the covering shell 24.

[0061] The cover 16 can be closed on the base 12, by elastically fitting the elastic fitting tongue 52 of the frame 18, in the slot 84, a bead on the elastic fitting tongue 52 then cooperating with a projecting edge 98 of the slot 84, as can be seen in FIG. 13.

[0062] The cover 16 can be opened by pulling the button 60 of the hood 20, so as to separate one end of the cover 16 from the base 12, by pivoting the cover 16 around its axis of rotation A.

[0063] The packaging device 10 illustrated has the advantage of being removable, without damaging the various parts which constitute it and without requiring the use of special tools.

[0064] Partial disassembly of the packaging device 10 may consist of removing the palette 26 to replace it, for example when the cosmetic products P1-P5 have been consumed. The new palette 26 intended to be inserted into the base 12 may initially be covered with a protection 28 and / or be received in a closed bag, in particular a bag sealed airtight.

[0065] However, as illustrated in particular by Figure 16 and Figure 17, it is also possible to remove the cover 20 from the chassis 18. This can make it possible to recycle each of the parts that make up the cover 16, in particular the mirror 22 fixed here on the chassis 18. To remove the cover 20 from the chassis 18, it is sufficient to push the stud 58 out of the opening 38 in the base 32 of the chassis 18. This can be done when the cover 16, in particular the cover 20, forms an angle of approximately 180° around the axis of rotation A, relative to its position of closure of the base 12. In this position, illustrated in Figure 16, the stud 58 is easily accessible to a user, since it projects from a face of the chassis 18 which is frontal, in the open position of the cover 16, illustrated in Figure 16. In particular, no no tool is then necessary to push the stud 58 out of the tower 38 into the base 32 of the chassis 18.Once the stud 58 has been removed from the hole 38, it is sufficient to pivot the cover 20 relative to the chassis 18, as illustrated in figure 17.

[0066] It should be noted here that the stud 58 is not accessible so as to dismantle the elastic fitting of the cover 20 on the frame 18, when the packaging device 10 is closed, the cover 16 closing the housing 14 in the base 12. Indeed, here, due to the particular shape of the base 32, in particular the presence of the wall 40 of the base 32, the stud 58 cannot be manipulated, from an external face of the packaging device 10, when the packaging device 10 is closed, in order to remove it from the hole 38. In addition, as can be seen in FIG. 12, the presence of the boss 74 on the covering shell 24, which is located opposite the stud 58, makes it difficult to insert a tool through the slot 100 present between the covering shell 24 and the frame 18 of the cover 16, when the packaging device 10 is closed. Thus, it is difficult to remove the stud 58 from the hole 38, in the closed position of the packaging device 10, even with a tool. The slot 100 has for example a width of less than 5 mm, preferably less than 2 mm, to prevent a user from inserting a finger inside the slot 100 to manipulate the stud 58.

[0067] This disclosure is not limited to the examples described above, solely as an example, but it encompasses all variations that the person skilled in the art may consider within the framework of the protection sought.

[0068] Thus, in the illustrated example, the mirror 22 is fixed to the frame 18 of the cover 16. Alternatively, the mirror 22 can be clamped between the frame 18 of the cover 16 and the cover 20 of the cover 16. In all cases, it is preferred when the mirror 22 rests, by a peripheral portion, on a surface oriented towards the cover 20. In this case, in fact, the mirror 22 can be fixed without using glue or other chemical fixing means. The mirror 22 is thus more easily removable from the cover 16 and can more easily be recycled.

[0069] In the example also illustrated, the cover 20 and the frame 18 are disassembled when the cover 16 forms an angle of approximately 180° with its position for closing the packaging device 10. This angle may be less. Preferably, this angle is greater than 90°, in particular greater than 120°, between the position of the cover 16 for closing the packaging device 10, and the position of the cover 16 allowing the manipulation of the lug 58 to remove it from the hole 38, without using a tool or part.

[0070] Also, in the illustrated example, the frame 18 of the cover 16 is fixed on the base 12, pivoting about the axis of rotation A of the cover 16. Alternatively, the cover 16 can be fixed on the base 12, pivoting about the axis of rotation A of the cover 16. The frame 18 can then only be fixed to the cover 16.

[0071] Furthermore, in the illustrated example, the cover 20 is fixed to the frame 18 of the lid 16 by elastic fitting of an elastic tongue with a projecting stud 58 received in a hole 38. The person skilled in the art can however identify other elastic fitting reliefs which can be implemented to fix the cover 20 to the frame 18.

[0072] Finally, in the illustrated example, the support 54, the blade 56 and the stud 58 are monolithic, that is to say made in one piece, with the rest of the cover 20. However, according to a first alternative, the support 54 can be monolithic with the bottom 20f and the rim 20r of the cover 20, the blade 56 and the stud 58 are monolithic or rigidly fixed to each other, and the assembly of the blade 56 and the stud 58 is attached and rigidly fixed to the support 54. According to a second alternative, the support 54 and the blade 56 are monolithic with the bottom 20f and the rim 20r of the cover 20, and the stud 58 is attached and rigidly fixed to the blade 56.
