[0002] This application claims priority to Chinese patent application 2024200688114, entitled “An umbrella and its combination device”, filed on January 10, 2024, and Chinese patent application 202422387299.2, entitled “An umbrella and its clamping device”, filed on September 29, 2024, and the said applications are hereby included by reference. Technical Field

[0003] The present application relates to daily necessities, in particular to an umbrella. Background Art

[0004] With the advancement of technology, people's demands for daily necessities are constantly increasing. For example, traditional umbrellas, while convenient for keeping out the rain and the sun on sunny days, are no longer sufficient. For example, with the continued growth of delivery services, the number of delivery riders using two- and three-wheeled motorcycles is increasing. Delivering goods to customers in rainy, windy, or sunny weather requires them to hold onto the handlebars, making it difficult for them to hold up an umbrella to block the rain or sun. Therefore, existing umbrella structures make it difficult for riders to complete their delivery tasks. Another example is outdoor construction workers working under the scorching sun, unable to use an umbrella for shade. People carrying children on the street also lack both hands to hold up an umbrella to block the sun, causing significant inconvenience in their daily lives and work.

[0005] Figure 1 shows a schematic diagram of a conventional umbrella structure (for ease of explanation, individual components are numbered). The umbrella structure comprises a shaft 11, an upper ring 20 (short for the upper rib ring, hereinafter the same), a lower ring 30 (short for the lower rib ring, hereinafter the same), and a frame 40 (short for the umbrella frame, hereinafter the same). Frame 40 is hinged to the upper ring 20 and lower ring 30 at its upper and lower endpoints 401 and 402, respectively, and is mounted between the upper and lower rings 20 and 30. The shaft 11 passes through the lower and upper rings 30. This umbrella is characterized by the upper ring 20 being fixed to the top of the shaft 11, pushing the lower ring 30 upward to open the umbrella. A one-way stopper 102 on the lower ring presses against the lower ring 30 to maintain the open position. This structure is relatively weak and lacks rigidity, making it unsuitable for use in inclement weather and requiring improvement.

[0006] Traditional umbrellas are used to block the sun and rain, but the existing umbrellas have long poles and poor strength. After opening the umbrella, it needs to be held by hand, which is not suitable for delivery riders or field construction workers to use in the open air or in wind and rain. The applicant has filed a patent application with Chinese application number 2024200688114, entitled "An umbrella and its combination device", which solves the above problems. However, the above application is manually operated in the umbrella structure, and the opening position is difficult to find; and when closing the umbrella, because the button is located on the lower extension of the upper circle, it is blocked by the umbrella frame, and it is inconvenient to insert a finger into the umbrella frame to operate the button; and the umbrella pole has poor strength. As an improvement plan for the content of the above application, the applicant has further filed a patent application with Chinese application number 202422387299.2, entitled "An umbrella and its clamping device", which provides a series of clamping devices. Summary of the Invention

[0007] The purpose of this application is to provide an umbrella and a clamping device thereof to solve the above-mentioned problems.

[0008] To achieve one of the above-mentioned purposes, the present application provides an umbrella: as shown in FIG2 , the umbrella of the present application has components similar to those of conventional umbrellas, including an umbrella pole 11, an upper ring 20, a lower ring 30, and a frame 40. The frame 40 is hinged to the upper ring 20 and the lower ring 30 at its upper end point 401 and lower end point 402, respectively, and is installed between the upper ring 20 and the lower ring 30. The umbrella pole 11 passes through the lower ring 30, the frame 40, and the upper ring 20. The umbrella pole 11 is characterized in that: the lower ring 30 is fixedly connected to the umbrella pole 11 as a whole; or a lower ring lower extension section 301 is provided at the lower end of the lower ring 30, so that the lower end of the umbrella pole 11 is fixedly connected to the lower ring 30 and the lower ring lower extension section 301 as a whole; and an umbrella cap 5 is provided at the top end of the upper ring 20.

[0009] Comparison of the umbrella of the present application with prior art umbrellas: Figure 1 shows a prior art umbrella in its open state. The upper ring 20 of this umbrella is fixed to the top of the umbrella shaft 11. (For clarity, the intersection of the centerline of the umbrella shaft 11 and the upper ring 20 in Figure 1, and the intersection of the lower ring 30 and the centerline of the umbrella shaft 11 in Figures 2, 2A, 3, and 4, is marked with an "X" to indicate that the intersection is fixed.) The lower ring 30 is pushed upward along the umbrella shaft 11 to open the umbrella. The lower ring's one-way stopper 102 abuts against the lower ring 30, maintaining the open position. The distance between the umbrella body and the umbrella shaft 11 is L. Figure 2 shows an umbrella designed according to the principles of the present application, also in its open state. Its components are identical to those of Figure 1, except that the lower ring 30 of the present umbrella is fixed to the umbrella shaft 11, while the upper ring 20 slides on the umbrella shaft 11. The present umbrella is a push-down type, meaning that the upper ring 20 is pushed downward to open. It can be seen that, using an umbrella of the same structure and size, under the same usage conditions, the distance L between the umbrella body and the umbrella pole in Figure 2 is smaller than the distance L1 of the prior art umbrella. When in use, the distance between the umbrella body and the umbrella pole is smaller when the person holds the umbrella pole, and the umbrella is more stable. The umbrella of the present application goes a step further, placing the umbrella's clamping point at the lower ring 30 (as shown in Figure 4), so that the distance L between the umbrella body and the umbrella pole is almost zero, thus optimizing the umbrella's strength and rigidity. In this case, the umbrella pole 11 uses a strong combination device to clamp the lower ring extension 301 of the lower ring 30 (as shown in Figure 4), replacing the umbrella pole 11 to support the umbrella body and ensure stable operation.

[0010] Secondly, in Figure 1 , the open position of the conventional umbrella is controlled by a one-way stopper 102 on the lower ring, preventing the umbrella from falling back toward the closed position. However, this does not protect the umbrella from strong reverse winds F. If the reverse wind F is too strong, the umbrella will flip in the direction of the wind F. Another conventional two-way stopper uses a top ball lock between the lower ring 30 and the umbrella shaft 11 to lock them together, thereby resisting wind from both the upper and lower directions. This can withstand excessive reverse winds F and improve the umbrella's wind resistance.

[0011] The umbrella of the present application may also be of the structure shown in FIG3 (in the open state), i.e., an upper circle lower extension 201 is provided at the lower end of the upper circle 20 as a sliding guide, which shortens the upper portion of the umbrella rod 11, eliminates the need for an umbrella cap 5, and employs a two-way stopper 103.

[0012] The umbrella of the present application is also applicable to a folding umbrella, and can be used in conjunction with various combination devices to form a combined umbrella, which can be carried on the body, installed on various vehicles, or installed in a fixed place.

[0013] The umbrella also includes a first assembly, as shown in Figure 4. This assembly comprises a horizontal connecting rod 61 and a vertical connecting rod 89, both of which have a clamp at one end and a tail rod at the other. The horizontal connecting rod 7 is positioned horizontally, with the horizontal connecting rod clamp 611 clamping the lower ring extension 301 of the umbrella. The vertical connecting rod 89 is positioned vertically, with the vertical connecting rod clamp 891 clamping the horizontal connecting rod tail rod 612 of the horizontal connecting rod 61. Both the horizontal connecting rod clamp 611 and the vertical connecting rod clamp 891 are commercially available and comprise two openable and closable jaws capable of clamping and releasing a rod-like object. During use, the vertical connecting rod tail rod 892 is secured to a two- or three-wheeled vehicle behind the driver, or the tail end of the vertical connecting rod 89 is secured behind a delivery person. The horizontal connecting rod 61 can be used to adjust the front-to-back position of the umbrella, while the vertical connecting rod 89 is secured at the desired height above the person's head.

[0014] The umbrella of the present application also includes a second assembly device, as shown in Figure 5, which includes a push-pull rod 90, a coupling 100, a motor 110, and a bracket 120. The upper end of the push-pull rod 90 has a threaded section 901, and the lower end of the upper ring 20 of the umbrella also has an upper ring lower extension section 201. The hole of the upper ring 20 is capped, and a screw hole 202 is provided on the cap. The upper end of the umbrella rod 11 is sleeved in the upper ring lower extension section 201 and slidably engaged; the umbrella and the motor 110 are respectively fixed on the bracket 120; the main shaft of the motor 110 is connected to the lower end of the push-pull rod 90 through the coupling 100, and the upper end of the push-pull rod 90 passes through the umbrella rod 11. The threaded section 901 at the upper end of the push-pull rod 90 is slidably screwed into the screw hole 202 at the cap of the upper ring 20 to drive the upper ring 20 to slide along the umbrella rod 11 to open and close the umbrella.

[0015] The combined umbrella has a fixed lower ring 30, and the upper ring 20 is controlled by a push-pull rod 90 to slide along the umbrella pole 11, so that a solid truss is formed between the upper ring 20, the lower ring 30 and the umbrella frame 40. The truss has high strength and can withstand wind blowing from all directions of the umbrella. In addition, an annular gasket with a radius larger than the upper ring can be provided above the upper ring, which has the best wind resistance and does not require a stopper.

[0016] The umbrella of the present application further comprises a third assembly device, which comprises a helmet 140 , and the lower extension section 301 of the lower circle 30 or the umbrella pole 11 is used as an installation handle and is installed on the top of the helmet 140 .

[0017] In summary, the structure of the umbrella of the present application is of a push-down opening type. Since the lower ring 30 and / or the lower extension section 301 of the lower ring are fixed together with the umbrella pole 11, the strength of the umbrella is greatly improved and the operation is stable. It can be used alone or in conjunction with various combination devices to form various combination umbrellas to protect against sun and rain, without the need to hold the umbrella, thus freeing up the hands. It can be made into a small product and carried on the body, or installed on various vehicles or in fixed places. It is suitable for use in open-air construction, field operations, delivery riders, and open-air sentry personnel.

[0018] To achieve the above-mentioned other purpose, the present application provides an umbrella clamping device.

[0019] The present application also includes an umbrella pole assembly, which includes an umbrella pole and a positioning sleeve mounted thereon. The upper end of the umbrella pole is fixed to the lower end of the upper ring; the upper end of the umbrella handle is fixed to the lower end of the lower ring, and the lower end of the umbrella pole is inserted into the lower ring and the umbrella handle to form a connection that can slide up and down. There are two ways to fix the positioning sleeve: one is to fix the lower end of the positioning sleeve to the upper end of the lower ring to form a first type of umbrella; the other is to fix the upper end of the positioning sleeve to the lower end of the upper ring to form a second type of umbrella. In addition, the button for controlling the opening and closing of the umbrella is moved to the umbrella handle to make it easier to operate. The above two umbrella types are umbrellas of basic structure and have the same function. In addition, the umbrella is placed on a clamping device and is located above the rider's head. The umbrella pole is shorter and stronger than the umbrella pole of the prior art.

[0020] The main function of the positioning sleeve is to position the umbrella for opening. During operation, the upper and lower rings move toward each other along the umbrella shaft to open the umbrella, and move in the opposite direction to close the umbrella. To open the umbrella, the upper or lower ring moves toward each other until it contacts the positioning sleeve, which is the opening position (no need to slowly move to find the opening position), opening the umbrella and securing it in the operating position. To close the umbrella, press the button on the handle (no need to insert your fingers into the umbrella ribs) to disengage the umbrella, and the umbrella will tend to close under its own restoring force.

[0021] The umbrella has a simple structure and adopts a short umbrella pole. The positioning sleeve allows the umbrella pole to slide inside the handle to open and close the umbrella, which not only enhances the strength of the umbrella pole, but also solves the problem of difficult to find the opening position of the umbrella, so that the positioning is accurate and the umbrella is opened and closed quickly. The umbrella is suitable for use on the clamping device.

[0022] Based on the above two basic umbrella types, the following umbrella structures are derived. The following examples are derived from the first umbrella type (the lower end of the positioning sleeve and the upper end of the lower ring are fixedly connected to form an umbrella pole) as an integral whole.

[0023] The third type of umbrella, namely, an umbrella equipped with a core rod assembly, is characterized in that the core rod assembly is installed within the umbrella shaft and includes a core rod, a coil spring, and a baffle. The coil spring is sleeved onto the core rod, with the upper end of the coil spring pressing against the lower end face of the upper baffle within the umbrella shaft, and the lower end of the coil spring pressing against the upper end face of the lower baffle within the umbrella handle. The baffle shoulder at the upper end of the core rod is located above the upper baffle within the umbrella shaft, and the lower end of the core rod extends through the through hole of the upper baffle and out of the through hole of the lower baffle at the bottom of the umbrella handle, where it is secured by a baffle. This umbrella is manually opened, with spring tension primarily driving the closing of the umbrella. To open the umbrella, hold the umbrella handle with one hand and pull the core rod downward with the other hand until the upper coil presses against the upper end face of the positioning sleeve. This indicates the umbrella's open position, and the umbrella is automatically positioned using a button, ensuring accurate and rapid opening. Once positioned, the pulled core rod is pushed back upward and sealed to the bottom of the umbrella shaft with a baffle. When the umbrella needs to be closed, the button plate disconnects the positioning connection. Under the action of the coil spring tension, the umbrella pole and upper ring move upward, pushing the umbrella closed. This structure of the umbrella pole, with a positioning sleeve and core support, has the strongest rigidity and fast positioning. The manual lever for opening the umbrella is easy and fast to operate, and the main force to close the umbrella is the spring tension.

[0024] The fourth type of umbrella is a dual-function umbrella. It can be used as a standard handheld umbrella or mounted on a clamping device. Its characteristics include: an extension rod connected via a hinged axis at the lower end of the umbrella shaft, and a locking assembly that fits over the extension rod. The locking assembly comprises a threaded sleeve that fits over the handle and extension rod, and a locking nut that fits over the sleeve. The sleeve has external threads and spaced clamping bars at its lower end, while the locking nut has mating internal threads and a locking notch. A notch is located on the right side of the lower end of the handle. When the umbrella is mounted on the clamping device and in the working position, the extension rod can be rotated counterclockwise from bottom to top around the hinged axis, through the notch on the right side of the lower end of the handle, to a horizontal position. The extension rod is then clamped below the elbow of the clamping device. When used as a handheld umbrella, the umbrella is removed from the clamping device, and the handle and extension rod are connected using the locking assembly, thereby increasing the length of the umbrella shaft and transforming it into a handheld umbrella. This umbrella can be used on a clamping device or handheld, providing dual functions. The operation method of this umbrella is to pull the extension rod downward to open the umbrella; push the extension rod upward to close the umbrella. The umbrella rod is supported by a positioning sleeve, has good rigidity and accurate positioning, and the manual pull rod for opening the umbrella is convenient and quick to operate.

[0025] The following is a first type of umbrella clamping device: it includes a horizontal rod assembly and a vertical rod assembly; its characteristics are: an elbow assembly is connected between the horizontal rod assembly and the vertical rod assembly; the horizontal rod assembly includes a horizontal rod and an umbrella holder installed at the front end thereof; the elbow assembly includes an elbow with a connecting clamp at the front end of the elbow; the vertical rod assembly includes a vertical inner rod and a vertical outer rod sleeved outside the inner rod.

[0026] There are also upper and lower mounting buckles attached to the vertical external connecting rod. The mounting buckles are used to attach the clamping device to the delivery vehicle seat or to the rider (for example, to the rider's backpack). The upper mounting buckle has a connecting clamp, a fixed clamp fixed to the upper end of the vertical external connecting rod, and fixed rings on both sides. The lower mounting buckle has a fixed clamp fixed to the lower end of the vertical external connecting rod and fixed rings on both sides. The components are connected as follows: the rear end (right end) of the horizontal connecting rod is inserted into the elbow through the connecting clamp and clamped with the connecting clamp; the upper end of the vertical internal connecting rod is fixed to the hole at the rear lower end of the elbow; the lower end of the vertical internal connecting rod is inserted into the hole at the upper end of the vertical external connecting rod through the connecting clamp (of the upper mounting buckle) at the upper end of the vertical external connecting rod, and the vertical internal connecting rod is clamped with the connecting clamp.

[0027] The connecting chuck uses a butterfly cap bolt (i.e., a bolt with a butterfly spanner cap) and a hidden nut (i.e., a nut embedded in a recess of the clamping claw, with the cross-section of the recess adapted to the nut's shape) to clamp the two clamping claws of the horizontal connecting rod. Advantageously, the clamping force of the clamping claws can be adjusted by manually turning the butterfly spanner cap, without the need for other tools. The structure is simple, the operation is reliable, and it is convenient and quick. The hidden nut will not become inconsistent with the bolt rotation or fall off, and it takes up little space and has a simple appearance. The connecting chuck is suitable for connection parts that frequently require disassembly or adjustment. For example, when using the connecting chuck to clamp the horizontal connecting rod and the vertical connecting rod, the horizontal and vertical positions of the umbrella can be quickly adjusted to meet the requirements of different users. When not in use, the chuck can be loosened and the connecting rod can be quickly removed from the connecting chuck for storage.

[0028] The fixing clamp in the mounting buckle is similar in structure to the connecting clamp, except that it uses bolts without butterfly caps and hidden nuts, and is used to fasten the fixed parts that are not adjusted frequently; the fixing ring is used to fix the umbrella's clamping device in the place of use.

[0029] The clamping device has a simple structure, is easy to adjust, has good rigidity and strong wind resistance.

[0030] The second type of clamping device is a foldable clamping device derived from the first type of clamping device, and its characteristics are: a steering member is added to the first type of clamping device, and the steering member is located between the elbow and the vertical inner connecting rod: the rear lower end of the elbow has a through groove, and the through groove has a stopper, and the tongue-shaped plate at the upper end of the steering member is inserted into the through groove, and the tongue-shaped plate has a retaining edge; a butterfly cap bolt shaft equipped with a small coil spring and a positioning gasket is inserted into the corresponding holes of the elbow and the tongue-shaped plate, and the positioning gasket has a positioning pin, which is inserted into the elbow and can be further inserted into the hole corresponding to the tongue-shaped plate to fix the two together; the other end of the butterfly cap bolt shaft is connected to a Tibetan nut and is located on the other side of the elbow, and the upper end of the vertical inner connecting rod is inserted into the hole at the lower end of the steering member for fixed connection. The operating sequence of this clamping device is as follows: when the transverse connecting rod is rotated clockwise from below about the butterfly cap bolt shaft to a horizontal position (working position), the block in the through slot is blocked by the tongue plate's retaining edge. At this point, the butterfly cap bolt shaft can be tightened, and the positioning pin on the positioning washer, which has been inserted into the elbow, is further inserted into the corresponding pin hole on the tongue plate of the steering member to fasten the elbow and the steering member together, ensuring that the transverse connecting rod is stably fixed in the working position. In addition to the advantages of the aforementioned connecting clamp structure, this clamping device also has the following advantages: when not in use, after removing the umbrella, the butterfly cap bolt shaft is loosened, and a small coil spring pushes the positioning pin out of the tongue plate, thereby disengaging the elbow from the steering member, allowing the transverse connecting rod to rotate counterclockwise about the hinge axis and fold up in place to a position parallel to the vertical external connecting rod, eliminating the need to remove the transverse connecting rod, thereby reducing the occupied space and facilitating storage.

[0031] The umbrella holder in this clamping device can have various structures. For example, one example is characterized by comprising an umbrella holder, an umbrella cover, a cover shaft, a locking bolt, and a bolt shaft. The umbrella holder is integrally formed with the middle and rear ends, and is hingedly connected to the umbrella cover via the cover shaft. The bolt shaft is mounted in a window hole in the middle portion. The locking bolt has a bolt sleeve at one end that fits over the bolt shaft, and a threaded end that fits over a butterfly nut that is positioned at the fork of the umbrella cover. The handle is placed in the umbrella holder and the butterfly nut is tightened to secure it within the umbrella holder. The rear end of the umbrella holder has a hole that fits over the front end of the crossbar.

[0032] In summary, this umbrella adopts an umbrella pole and positioning sleeve structure, which reduces the length of the umbrella pole and makes it suitable for installation on the clamping device. The positioning sleeve not only strengthens the rigidity of the umbrella pole, but also plays a role in positioning the umbrella to ensure quick and accurate opening. The umbrella with a metal core rod further strengthens the rigidity of the umbrella pole, and when opening the umbrella, it is only necessary to pull the core rod in the umbrella pole, and the spring pushes the umbrella to close, which is convenient and fast to operate. The umbrella equipped with an extension rod can be used for two purposes. To open and close the umbrella, it is only necessary to pull or push the umbrella pole, which is convenient and fast to operate. The first type of clamping device has a simple structure and good rigidity. The connecting clamp and fixed clamp used in the connection part are small in size, stable in clamping, and easy to operate. In addition to the performance of the first clamping device, the second type of clamping device also has a steering function. When not in use, the cross-connecting rod does not need to be removed. The cross-connecting rod can be folded down and folded on the spot, reducing the space occupied and facilitating storage. The umbrella and its clamping device can be carried on the body or mounted on various vehicles, freeing workers' hands. The umbrella is suitable for use by delivery riders, construction sites, field workers, etc. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0062] The present invention will be further described below with reference to specific embodiments.

[0063] The technical solution of the present application is described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and embodiments. In these drawings, the same or similar components are marked with the same or similar reference numerals.

[0064] Example 1. The umbrella of the present application.

[0065] As shown in the upper left part of Figure 4, there is a schematic diagram of the umbrella of the present application. The umbrella of the present application includes an umbrella pole 11, an upper ring 20, a lower ring 30, and a frame 40 (not shown, see Figure 2, the frame 40 is hinged to the upper ring 20 and the lower ring 30 with its upper end point 401 and lower end point 402 respectively, and is installed between the upper ring 20 and the lower ring 30). The umbrella pole 11 passes through the lower ring 30, the frame 40, and the upper ring 20. It is characterized in that: the lower end of the lower ring 30 of the umbrella has a lower ring lower extension section 301, and the lower end of the umbrella pole 11 is inserted into the lower ring 30 and the lower ring lower extension section 301, and is fixedly connected with them into one body; the umbrella of the present application also has an umbrella cap 5, which is installed at the upper end of the upper ring 20. In this embodiment, the inner hole thread of the umbrella cap 5 is connected to the outer thread 203 of the upper ring 20 to prevent water leakage at the top of the umbrella in rainy days. The upper ring 20 slides against the umbrella shaft 11 to open and close the umbrella. A conventional two-way stopper 103 is located between the upper ring 20 and the umbrella shaft 11 to position the umbrella shaft 11 and the upper ring 20 in the open position. Alternatively, conventional devices can be used to prevent relative rotation between the umbrella shaft 11 and the upper ring 20. For example, a key and keyway structure (not shown) can be used on the sliding cross-section of the umbrella shaft 11 and the upper ring 20, or the cross-section of the sliding cross-section of the umbrella shaft 11 and the upper ring 20 can be formed into a polygonal shape (not shown). The two-way stopper 103 is placed between the upper ring 20 and the umbrella shaft 11 in the open position to position the umbrella shaft 11 and the upper ring 20 in the open position. Regarding the stoppers, the upper ring one-way stopper 101 and the lower ring one-way stopper 102 in Figures 1 and 2 are conventional one-way stoppers used in oil-paper or oil-cloth umbrellas. These are relatively large and rarely used on existing umbrellas. It is just for the convenience of intuitive reading, as a comparative diagram of the umbrella structure, so that it is easy to distinguish when compared with the schematic diagram of the two-way stopper 103 of the prior art (top ball type or claw type, smaller in size).

[0066] As can be seen in FIG4 , the lower ring 30 is fixed to the umbrella shaft 11, and the umbrella cap 5 is attached to the upper end of the upper ring 20 by a thread 203. The upper ring 20 slides up and down along the umbrella shaft 11 (the upper ring 20 is a conventional circular shape that slides on the umbrella shaft 11) to open and close the umbrella. When the upper ring 20 slides down along the umbrella shaft 11, the upper end of the umbrella shaft 11 must extend into the umbrella cap 5 outside the upper ring 20 to complete the opening stroke. The operation of this umbrella is similar to that of a conventional umbrella. One hand grasps the lower end of the umbrella shaft 11, but the other hand pushes downward from the upper end of the umbrella, pushing the upper ring 20 downward along the umbrella shaft 11 to open the umbrella. The upper ring 20 is then locked in place by a two-way stopper 103. To close the umbrella, the button of the two-way stopper is pressed manually to release the lock. The upper ring 20 is then driven by the umbrella structure's own restoring force to slide upward and out of the way. The umbrella can then be manually retracted to close the umbrella.

[0067] Example 2. The umbrella of the present application and the first combined device. The umbrella in this example adopts the structure of the umbrella of Example 1.

[0068] As shown in Figure 4, the first assembly of the present application includes a horizontal connecting rod 61 and a vertical connecting rod 89, both of which have a clamp at one end and a tail rod at the other. The lower end of the lower ring 30 of the present application umbrella has an extension section 301. The horizontal connecting rod 61 is positioned horizontally and is clamped by a horizontal connecting rod clamp 611. The vertical connecting rod 89 is positioned vertically and is clamped by a vertical connecting rod clamp 891. The horizontal connecting rod clamp 611 and the vertical connecting rod clamp 891 (commercially available at Luqiao Hardware and Electrical City in Yueqing, Zhejiang Province) are constructed as two openable jaws that can release or clamp the tail rod. A device can also be added between the clamps and the tail rod to prevent rotation. For example, the cross-sections of the horizontal connecting rod tail rod 612 and the jaws of the vertical connecting rod clamp 891 can be made to have the same hexagonal shape (not shown). FIG6 is a schematic diagram showing the first assembly with its vertical connecting rods 89 placed on a backpack 160 of a pedestrian 150 , so that the pedestrian 150 can free up both hands to hold other items 170 .

[0069] Example 3. The umbrella of the present application and the second combined device. The umbrella in this example adopts the structure of the umbrella of Example 1.

[0070] As shown in FIG5 , the second assembly device includes a push-pull rod 90, a coupling 100, a motor 110, and a bracket 120. The upper end of the push-pull rod 90 has a threaded section 901, the hole of the upper ring 20 is capped, and the cap has a screw hole 202. The upper ring 20 also has an upper ring lower extension 201; the upper end of the umbrella rod 11 is sleeved in the upper ring lower extension 201 of the upper ring 20; the umbrella of the present application (with the lower ring lower extension 301 of the lower ring 30) and the motor 110 are respectively fixed on the bracket 120, wherein the lower ring 30 and its lower ring lower extension 301 are fixed by bolts 88 for fixing the umbrella body. Motor 110 is secured to bracket 120 via motor-securing bolts 130. The main shaft of motor 110 is connected to the lower end of push-pull rod 90 via coupling 100. The upper end of push-pull rod 90 extends through umbrella shaft 11 (a tubular member). A threaded section 901 at the upper end of push-pull rod 90 slidably engages with a screw hole 202 at the top of the umbrella's upper ring 20, creating a bidirectional rigid connection between upper ring 20 and lower ring 30 to control the opening and closing of the umbrella. This rigid connection achieves bidirectional positioning, enhancing the wind resistance of the umbrella and eliminating the need for a conventional stopper. This combined device allows for forward and reverse rotation of motor 110 to be controlled by a remote control. Of course, it is also possible to add an upper ring lower extension 201 to the lower end of the upper ring 20 and an upper extension to the upper end of the upper ring 20, and move the screw hole 202 at the top to the top of the upper extension (increasing the contact length between the upper ring 20 and the umbrella pole 11 to complete its opening and closing stroke), so that the threaded section 901 at the upper end of the push-pull rod 90 is slidably screwed into the screw hole 202 at the top of the upper extension of the upper ring of the umbrella (not shown).

[0071] Example 4. The umbrella of the present application and the third combined device.

[0072] As shown in Figure 7, the third combination device includes a helmet 140 with a top seat 141, and the top seat 141 has a screw hole; the lower ring lower extension section 301 of the umbrella of the present application has a thread (not shown); the lower ring lower extension section 301 is screwed into the screw hole (not shown) of the top seat 141 of the helmet 140 and fixed.

[0073] Example 5. Umbrellas of the first and second types.

[0074] FIG8 is a schematic diagram of the assembly of the umbrella and the clamping device. The umbrella comprises an umbrella rod assembly 10, an upper ring 20, a lower ring 30, a frame 40, and an umbrella handle 50. The frame 40 is installed between the upper ring 20 and the lower ring 30. The characteristics are as follows: As shown in FIG10, the umbrella rod assembly 10 comprises an umbrella rod 11 and a positioning sleeve 12 sleeved on the umbrella rod 11. The upper end of the umbrella rod 11 is fixed to the lower end of the upper ring 20 as a whole. The umbrella rod 11 has a positioning hole 11A. The upper end of the umbrella handle 50 is fixed to the lower end of the lower ring 30 as a whole. The lower end of the umbrella rod 11 is inserted into the lower ring 30 and the umbrella handle 50 is fixed to the lower ring 30 as a whole. The handle 50 is slidably movable up and down; the positioning sleeve 12, which is sleeved on the umbrella shaft 11, is fixedly connected in two ways: one is that the lower end of the positioning sleeve 12 is fixedly connected to the upper end of the lower ring 30, as shown in Figure 10, which is a first type umbrella, Figure 10 is the closed umbrella state, and Figure 11 is the open umbrella state; the other fixed connection method is shown in Figure 12, where the upper end of the positioning sleeve 12 is fixedly connected to the lower end of the upper ring 20 and is made into one piece with the umbrella shaft 11, which is a second type umbrella (open umbrella state). During operation, the upper ring 20 and the lower ring 30 move toward each other along the umbrella shaft 11 to open the umbrella, and move in the opposite direction to close the umbrella. During the umbrella opening operation, one hand pushes the upper ring 20 downward and the other hand pushes the umbrella handle 50 upward until the upper ring 20 (Figure 11) or the lower ring 30 (Figure 12) contacts the positioning sleeve 12, that is, when the distance between the upper ring 20 and the lower ring 30 is the height of the positioning sleeve 12, that is, the umbrella is in the open position. At this time, the umbrella is opened, and the slat-shaped button 52 ( FIG. 4 ) on the umbrella handle 50 locks the opened umbrella; when the umbrella needs to be closed, the button 52 is pressed to unlock the umbrella and close it.

[0075] As shown in Figure 13, the button 52 is mounted on a small shaft 53 on the outer surface of the umbrella handle 50. When opening the umbrella, the claw 55 of the button 52 is pressed against the outer surface of the umbrella shaft 11 by the action of the small spring 54. When the upper ring 20 and the lower ring 30 move toward each other to a height equal to that of the positioning sleeve 12, the button 52, under the action of the small spring 54, inserts the claw 55 into the positioning hole 11A on the umbrella shaft 11, thereby coupling the umbrella shaft 11 with the umbrella handle 50. This position is exactly the opening position, and the umbrella is opened and locked. When closing the umbrella, the button 52 is pressed to withdraw the claw 55 from the engagement, and the umbrella tends to close under the action of the restoring force of the umbrella structure.

[0076] As shown in FIG14 , an axial guide portion is provided between the umbrella shaft 11 and the engaging surface. That is, an axial protrusion 11B is provided on the outer surface of the umbrella shaft 11, and an adaptive groove is provided in the engaging surface, such as the positioning sleeve 12 and the hole of the umbrella handle 50, to ensure that the umbrella shaft 11 does not rotate when it moves axially.

[0077] Example 6. The third type of umbrella is an umbrella equipped with a core rod assembly.

[0078] As shown in Figure 15, the umbrella shaft 11 houses a core assembly comprising a core rod 13, a coil spring 14, and a retaining plate 15. The coil spring 14 is sleeved onto the core rod 13, with its upper end pressing against the lower end surface of an upper retaining plate 16 within the shaft 11, and its lower end pressing against the upper end surface of a lower retaining plate 51 within the handle 50. A retaining shoulder 13A at the upper end of the core rod 13 is positioned above the upper retaining plate 16 within the shaft 11. The lower end of the core rod 13 extends through a hole in the upper retaining plate 16 and out of a threaded hole in the lower retaining plate 51 at the bottom of the handle 50. The external threads at the lower end of the core rod 13 are fixedly connected to the threaded hole of a protrusion 15A on the retaining plate. To open the umbrella, the retaining plate 15 at the lower end of the core rod 13 is pulled downward, causing the retaining shoulder 13A to descend, pressing against the upper retaining plate 16. This in turn causes the upper ring 20 to descend and press against the positioning sleeve 12. After the umbrella is opened and positioned, the core rod 13 is pushed back upwards, and the external thread of the blocking piece protrusion 15A is screwed into the screw hole of the umbrella handle bottom 51 to fix the blocking piece 15 to the umbrella handle bottom 51.

[0079] Example 7. The fourth type of umbrella can be mounted on a clamping device for combined use, or can be handheld as an ordinary umbrella. It is a dual-function umbrella.

[0080] As shown in Figures 16 and 17, when the umbrella is in the working position, the lower end of the umbrella rod 11 extends to the bottom of the umbrella handle 50, and an extension rod 17 connected via a hinge shaft 17A is installed at the lower end of the umbrella rod 11 (the tongue-shaped plate 17B at the upper end of the extension rod 17 is inserted into the corresponding groove at the lower end of the umbrella rod 11, and the extension rod 17 is hinged to the umbrella rod 11 by the hinge shaft 17A). A notch 56 is provided on the right side of the lower end of the umbrella handle 50; a locking assembly is provided on the extension rod 17 as shown in Figure 18, which includes a screw sleeve 18 sleeved on the outside of the umbrella handle 50 and the extension rod 17 and a locking nut 19 sleeved on the outside of the screw sleeve 18, the lower end of the screw sleeve 18 has an external thread 18A and spaced clamping strips 18B (Figure 19), and the locking nut 19 has an internal thread matching the external thread 18A and a locking port 19A. When the umbrella is mounted on a clamping device (the structure of the clamping device is as described in Examples 4, 5, and 6) for use, as shown in FIG9 , the umbrella is in the open (operating) position. In this position, the extension rod 17 is inoperative and must be retracted. At this time, the lower end of the umbrella rod 11 is positioned to pass through the lower end of the umbrella handle 50. The extension rod 17 can be rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise from bottom to top around the hinge axis 17A through the notch 56 on the right side of the lower end of the umbrella handle 50 to a horizontal position, and then clamped with the elastic clip 72A below the elbow 71 in the clamping device. When used as a handheld umbrella, the umbrella is removed from the clamping device; as shown in Figure 18, a screw sleeve 18 is placed over the umbrella handle 50 and the extension rod 17 (the screw sleeve, the umbrella handle, and the extension rod 17 have an axial projection and a matching groove for anti-rotation as shown in Figure 14, not shown here). The lower end of the umbrella handle 50 is inserted into the screw sleeve 18, and the umbrella handle 50 and the extension rod 17 are connected together using the screw sleeve 18. A locking nut 19 is placed on the screw sleeve 18, and the locking nut 19 is rotated upward to tighten the locking mouth 19A of the clamping bar 18B shown in Figure 19, locking the screw sleeve 18 with the umbrella handle 50 and the extension rod 17 together, thereby increasing the length of the umbrella shaft. At this point, the umbrella can be used as a handheld umbrella. This umbrella can be used on the clamping device for work, and after riding a bicycle to the delivery location and parking, it can be removed and used as a handheld umbrella for sun and rain protection, while walking to the specific consignee's door. This solution uses a dual-purpose umbrella and is easy to operate.

[0081] Example 8 is the first type of clamping device used for this umbrella.

[0082] As shown in Figure 8 , the assembly comprises a horizontal connecting rod assembly 60 and a vertical connecting rod assembly 80. The assembly is characterized by an elbow assembly 70 connected between the horizontal connecting rod assembly 60 and the vertical connecting rod assembly 80. The horizontal connecting rod assembly 60 comprises a horizontal connecting rod 61 and an umbrella holder 62 mounted at its front end. The elbow assembly 70 comprises an elbow 71 and a connecting clamp 72 at its front end. Figure 20 shows an enlarged DD section of the elbow assembly. The connecting clamp 72 comprises two elastic clamping claws 75 secured by a butterfly cap screw 73 and a hidden nut 74. The butterfly cap screw 73 has a butterfly wrench at its right end and a threaded rod at its left end, which screws into a hidden nut 74 mounted in a recess on the left side of the elbow 71. The recess is shaped to match the nut's outer shape. As shown in Figure 8 , the vertical connecting rod assembly 80 comprises a vertical inner connecting rod 81 and a vertical outer connecting rod 82 that fits over the inner connecting rod.

[0083] FIG8 also includes an upper mounting buckle 83 and a lower mounting buckle 86 mounted on the vertical external connecting rod 82 for securing the clamping device at the place of use. As shown in FIG21 , the upper mounting buckle 83 includes a connecting clamp 83A and a fixing clamp 84 fixed to the upper end of the vertical external connecting rod 82, and fixing rings 85 located on both sides. As shown in FIG22 , the lower mounting buckle 86 includes a fixing clamp 86A fixed to the lower end of the vertical external connecting rod 82 and fixing rings 87 located on both sides.

[0084] As shown in FIG. 28 , in a preferred embodiment, the upper mounting buckle 83 and the lower mounting buckle 86 are both designed to be foldable and retractable, and their lateral lengths may be inconsistent to accommodate the needs of different installation situations, such as the shape and size of a backpack.

[0085] The connection method between each component is as follows: As shown in Figure 8, the rear end (right end) of the horizontal rod 61 in the horizontal rod assembly 60 is inserted into the elbow 71 through the connecting clamp 72 and is tightened by the connecting clamp 72. The upper end of the vertical inner rod 81 in the vertical rod assembly 80 is fixed to the hole at the rear lower end of the elbow 71, and the lower end of the vertical inner rod 81 is inserted into the hole at the upper end of the vertical outer rod 82 through the connecting clamp 83A at the upper end of the vertical outer rod 82 and is tightened by the connecting clamp 83A.

[0086] Example 9. The second type of clamping device is a foldable clamping device derived from the first type of clamping device.

[0087] As shown in FIG9 , the feature is that a steering member 76 is added to the first clamping device, and the steering member is located between the elbow 71 and the vertical inner connecting rod 81: a through groove 71A is provided at the rear lower end of the elbow 71, and a stopper 71B is provided in the through groove. A tongue-shaped plate 77 at the upper end of the steering member 76 is inserted into the through groove 71A, and a retaining edge 77A is provided on the tongue-shaped plate 77 (see FIG23 for the GG sectional view in FIG9 ), and the elbow 71 and the tongue-shaped plate 77 are hinged together by a butterfly cap bolt shaft 79. The right end of the butterfly cap bolt shaft 79 is fitted with a positioning washer 78 with a positioning pin 78A. The positioning pin 78A is inserted into the right side of the elbow 71 and can be further inserted into the corresponding hole in the tongue plate 77. A small coil spring 79B is also mounted on the butterfly cap bolt shaft 79. The left end of the butterfly cap bolt shaft 79 is a screw that screws into a hidden nut 79A mounted in a recess on the left side of the elbow 71. As shown in Figure 9, the upper end of the vertical inner connecting rod 81 is then inserted into the hole at the lower end of the steering member 76 and secured. When the transverse connecting rod 61 is rotated clockwise from below around the butterfly cap bolt shaft 79 to a horizontal working position, the block 71B in the through slot 71A is blocked by the tongue plate's rib 77A. At this point, as shown in Figure 23, the butterfly cap bolt shaft 79 is screwed in, and the pin 78A on the positioning washer 78 is further inserted into the corresponding pin hole in the tongue plate 77, thereby securing the elbow 71 and the steering member 76 in the working position. The advantages of this clamping device are: when not in use, as shown in Figure 23, the butterfly cap bolt shaft 79 can be loosened, and the tension of the small coil spring 79B pushes the positioning gasket 78 and the positioning pin 78A to withdraw from the tongue-shaped plate 77, disconnecting the connection between the elbow 71 and the steering member 76; as shown in Figure 9, the transverse rod 61 can be rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise around the butterfly cap bolt shaft 79 and hung down (at this time, the umbrella with the extension rod 17 in Figure 9 has been removed from the umbrella holder 62), and folded together with the vertical external rod 82, without removing the transverse rod 61, and can be stored in situ.

[0088] Example 10. The umbrella holder 62 can have various forms, and only one example is given here.

[0089] As shown in Figure 24 (the butterfly nut 66B is not shown in the figure) and its top view 25, the umbrella holder 62 is installed at the front end (left end) of the transverse rod 61, and is used to clamp the umbrella handle 50 of the umbrella. Its characteristics are: the umbrella holder 62 includes an umbrella holding body 63, an umbrella holding cover 64, a cover shaft 65, a lock bolt 66, and a bolt shaft 67. The umbrella holding body 63 is a whole composed of the middle part 63A and the rear end 63B. The umbrella holding body 63 is hinged to the umbrella holding cover 64 through the cover shaft 65; the bolt shaft 67 is installed in the window 63C of the middle part 63A; as shown in Figure 26 (the HH sectional enlarged view in Figure 24), the left end of the lock bolt 66 has a bolt sleeve 66A, which is mounted on the bolt shaft 67, and the threaded part of the right end is mounted with a butterfly nut 66B, which is located on the fork 64A of the umbrella holding cover 64. As shown in Figures 24 and 17, the umbrella handle 50 is placed in the umbrella holder 62. As shown in Figure 26, the fork 64A is screwed onto the butterfly nut 66B to secure the handle 50 within the umbrella holder 62. The rear end 63B of the umbrella holder 63 has a hole that is inserted into the front end (left end) of the crossbar 61 and secured. Axial projections similar to those shown in Figure 14 and matching axial grooves (not shown) are provided on the outer surface of the umbrella handle 50 and the inner surfaces of the umbrella holder 63 and umbrella cover 64 to prevent relative rotation between the umbrella holder 62 and the umbrella handle 50.

[0090] As shown in Figure 27, in a preferred embodiment, the umbrella holder 62 of the transverse rod 61 is located at the front end (right end) of the transverse rod 61, and the umbrella holding body 63, the middle part 63A of the umbrella holder, and the rear end 63B of the umbrella holder 62 can be formed as one piece, roughly in an L shape, and the rear end 63B can be designed as a telescopic structure.

[0091] Finally, it should be noted that the above embodiments are intended only to illustrate the technical solutions of this application and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention. Although this application has been described in detail with reference to the embodiments, it should be understood by those skilled in the art that modifications or equivalent substitutions to the technical solutions of this application do not depart from the spirit and scope of the technical solutions of this application and should be encompassed by the claims of this application.
