AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Tufted wires in grass fence knitting machines get caught between the wire mesh, necessitating manual labor and preventing mass production due to errors and inefficiencies.

Method used

The use of pneumatic air gripper pistons to automatically open diamond shaped wire meshes, allowing tufted wires to pass effortlessly and enabling error-free, automated production.

Benefits of technology

Enables serial and human-free production of grass fencing by ensuring the tufted wires can be woven smoothly through the diamond shaped wire mesh, enhancing productivity and reducing manual labor.

Description

[0001] IMPROVEMENT IN GRASS FENCE KNITTING MACHINE

[0002] FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0003] The present invention relates to an improved structure for opening the wires to allow the grass tufted wire to pass between the woven wires in the production of grass fencing.

[0004] STATE OF THE ART

[0005] Tufted wires cannot pass through the wire mesh in the existing grass fence knitting machines. This is due to the tufts getting caught between the wire mesh, etc. Therefore, since these processes require manual labor, they cause many cost problems such as loss of time, inability to convert to mass production, personbased work errors, etc.

[0006] DEFINITION OF THE INVENTION

[0007] Said invention eliminates the disadvantages described in the state of the art and fulfils the needs.

[0008] The present invention relates to an improved structure for opening the wires to allow the grass tufted wire to pass between the woven wires in the production of grass fencing.

[0009] In the production of the present invention, since the pistons work automatically and open the diamond shaped wires, the tufted wires pass through these wires easily and error-free, and the related production is very serial and human-free, and it contains all the conveniences of automatic production.

[0019] DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0020] The present invention is an improvement in grass fence knitting machine, characterized by comprising the following;

[0021] • pneumatic air gripper piston (3) located on the machine to open the diamond wire meshes (2) by pulling the wire holders (4).

[0022] In the present invention, the pistons (3) can approach and move away from the wire holders (4) via the shaft (5) to which they are connected.

[0023] In the present invention, the relevant power is received from the servo motor (6). The servo motor (6), which gives commands to the shaft (5), rotates the shaft (5) and then the pneumatic air gripper piston (3) presses down.

[0024] The representative operating principle of the invention is as follows:

[0025] The grass tufted wire (1 ) passes through the reels and reaches the mould, the wire shaped in the mould passes through the diamond shaped wire mesh (2) and is automatically woven to complete its length, then the cutting command is activated at the end of the machine and it cuts the grass tufted wire (1 ) and prepares it for the new eye by bringing the pullers at the back of the machine to that level to pass the grass tufted wire (1 ) to the next eye, and then our system comes into play here, since the grass is tufted, the grass tufted wire (1) cannot pass through the eyes, the pneumatic air gripper pistons (3) that we have placed here enter the eye gaps of the diamond shaped wire mesh (2) and press downwards, thus the diamond shaped wire mesh (2) is ready for the next grass tufted wire (1 ) and it can be woven easily, the pneumatic air gripper piston (3) is retracted until the weaving starts.
