Abstract
Description
[0001]DESCRIPTION Magnetothermal circuit breaker Technical sector The technical sector in which this utility model falls is the electricity sector. Prior state of the art Currently, magnetothermal circuit breakers come in one piece, so their replacement must be carried out by qualified personnel due to the wiring having to be handled. The very nature of magnetothermal circuit breakers, actuators, automation systems and any device that can be installed in electrical control and maneuvering panels for various industrial and domestic uses is known to all professionals in the electrical sector and also to a good part of those outside said industry. Explanation of the invention The magnetothermal circuit breaker of the invention comprises a rear fixing base and a magnetothermal actuator separated from the rear base for rapid assembly of the actuator body without manipulating the wiring. This utility model is based on the difference in the connection of the magnetothermic actuator itself, with the wiring receiving part, or rear base, separated from each other, which is what facilitates the intervention of unqualified personnel as such, for the manipulation or replacement of the element in case of breakage, without the need to manipulate the wiring, thus avoiding electrical risk to a large extent, in the event that an action without interruption of the current is necessary. This invention greatly facilitates the replacement of the automation or magnetothermic actuator, etc. It would not be necessary to manipulate the wiring, so its replacement could be carried out quickly and without great knowledge of the subject by people outside the technique and easily applicable to the domestic environment and places where the speed of action, for a greater reduction of stoppages in production processes, are important. For example, any type of industry, homes, hospitals, operating rooms, etc. During the initial assembly (read when the new electrical panel is assembled) the wiring is manipulated by housing it in the rear base, but it is assumed that this work is already carried out by qualified operators. This invention is focused on the subsequent work of replacing the magneto-thermal actuator, although it also greatly facilitates the initial assembly of the magneto-thermal circuit breaker thanks to its separate rear base. Brief description of the content of the drawings - Figure 1 shows a profile view of the magneto-thermal circuit breaker with the magneto-thermal actuator mounted on the rear base. - Figures 2a and 2b show front views of the rear base and the magneto-thermal actuator of the circuit breaker in Figure 1. - Figures 3a and 3b show profile views of the rear base and the magneto-thermal actuator of the circuit breaker of the invention.Detailed exposition of embodiments of the invention The different parts of the magnetothermal circuit breaker shown in the figures are detailed below. 1 - Rear base. 2 - Magnetothermal actuator 3 - Male / female screw. 4 - Male screw. 5 - Separator spring. 6 - Housing. 7 - Mounting support. 8 - Slot for fitting in DIN rail. The magnetothermal circuit breaker of the invention comprises a magnetothermal actuator (2) separated from the rear fixing base (1) for quick replacement without manipulating the wiring. The rear base (1) has male / female screws (3) and housings (6) for the cable, referenced in Figures 3a and 3b, independent of the operation of the magnetothermal actuator (2). Said male / female screws (3), in their head, have a slot for screwing and fixing the cable in the housing (6).It also has a threaded hole, in the same head of the male / female screw (3), which serves as a housing for the male screw (4) of the magnetothermal actuator (2), referenced in figure 3b. This union between the male (4) and male / female (3) screws acts, at the same time, as an electrical conductor, reason why the male screw (4) of the magnetothermal actuator (2) must not stop at the bottom of the threaded hole of the male / female screw (3) of the rear base (1), so that it is not difficult to unscrew and separate the magnetothermal actuator (2) from the rear base (1) and to avoid accidental welding of the threads in case of overvoltage, which would make the disassembly of said parts difficult. The machining of the thread of these male and female screws must be as precise as possible to distribute the contact surface through which the current circulates and thus avoid hot spots.Since there are different types of circuit breakers with different numbers of contacts or vertical current lines, the rear bases (1) can be in individual format for each current line, or on the contrary, they can be in kit format for each type of actuator to which said rear base (1) is dedicated. In figure 2a you can see the central vertical line that cuts the rear base in two, since the magnetothermal actuator (2) in figure 2b has two contacts or two vertical current lines. The separating spring (5) of the head of the male screw (4) acts as a contact separator when removing the magnetothermal actuator (2) from its rear base (1), thus avoiding, as far as possible, electric arcs. The rear base (1) and the magnetothermal actuator (2) comprise the male / female parts of a mounting bracket (7) that facilitates its assembly, allowing the magnetothermal actuator (2) to be hung on the rear fixing base without having to hold it with one hand when screwing it, thus avoiding possible dangerous contacts by the operator. This system is optional at the time of the final design. The rear base (1) comprises a slot (8) for fitting into a DIN rail, adaptable to other types of mounts or rails.
