Description

Description Title of the invention: Fixing hook for the trunk of a motor vehicle.

[0001] The present invention claims priority from French application 2401007 filed on February 1, 2024, the content of which (text, drawings and claims) is incorporated herein by reference. The technical field relates to fixing hooks for automobile trunks, automobile trunks comprising such a fixing hook, as well as motor vehicles.

[0002] Car manufacturers take great care in developing their vehicles to offer their customers vehicles with impeccable finish quality. Finish quality is primarily reflected in the quality of the assemblies and materials used in the vehicle. However, customer perceptions of quality are also influenced by the quality of the accessories supplied with the vehicle.

[0003] In this context, motor vehicles are frequently supplied with fastening devices for securing luggage in the trunk of the vehicle. These fastening devices are designed to be inserted into an anchor hole and are provided with a ring to which luggage and / or nets can be secured. These fastening devices are obviously very practical but have the disadvantage of having a significant amount of play when secured in their anchor hole. This play is sometimes perceived as poor holding of the device, so users may interpret this play as a quality defect.

[0004] Thus, there is a need for a solution to improve the fixation of the fixing devices by eliminating the play of movement perceptible when handling the devices.

[0005] The present invention aims to overcome the problems set out above. In this technical context, one aim of the present invention is to provide a fixing hook having reduced clearance when the latter is inserted into a fixing hole in a trunk floor.

[0006] To this end, the present invention relates to a fixing hook designed to allow the fixing of luggage in a motor vehicle trunk, the hook comprising an anchoring part designed to be introduced into an anchoring hole provided in a floor, the anchoring part comprising retractable anchoring means designed to deploy and anchor the hook to the floor, when the anchoring part is introduced into the orifice, the anchoring means being controlled by a hook control, mounted to rotate between an unlocked position, in which the anchoring means are retractable to allow the anchoring part to pass through the orifice, and a locking position, in which the anchoring means are deployed to allow the hook to be anchored to the floor, the hook further comprising elastic return means designed to bear against the floor when the hook is anchored to the floor, the control and the elastic return means being designed to block the compression of at least part of the elastic return means in a compressed position when the control is in the locking position.

[0007] The invention also relates to a motor vehicle trunk comprising a floor provided with at least one anchoring hole, the trunk further comprising at least one fixing hook according to the invention, the anchoring part of each hook being sized to be introduced into an anchoring hole, when the control is in the unlocked position, and to allow the hook to be anchored to the floor when the control is in the locked position.

[0008] The invention finally relates to a motor vehicle having at least one trunk according to the invention.

[0009] Thus, the hook according to the invention makes it possible to attach luggage and / or a net intended to retain luggage. The anchoring part makes it possible to engage and fix the hook in the anchoring hole. The elastic return means are designed to come into contact with the floor, when the hook is anchored to the floor, and thus make it possible to reduce the movement of the hook in the hole. When the user of the vehicle uses the attachment hook, by tilting the control, he blocks the compression of a part of the elastic return means, thus limiting the possibilities of movement of the hook towards the floor. Thus, the elastic return means and the control by cooperating, when the control is in the locking position, introduce at least partial blocking of the elastic return means limiting the movement of the hook anchored in the hole.The hook according to the invention therefore makes it possible to improve the quality perceived by users compared to conventional fixing devices.

[0010] According to one embodiment of the invention, the elastic return means comprise at least one hairpin spring comprising at least one elastic wire forming at least two strands, one of the strands having a protuberance shaped to bear against the other strand when the control is in the locked position. By bearing against each other, the two strands limit the possibilities of compression of the elastic return means.

[0011] According to one possibility, the protrusion is provided at one end of an elastic thread.

[0012] In one embodiment of the fixing hook, the control is mounted to move around an axis of rotation, the axis of rotation forming a cam designed to come into contact with the elastic return means at least when the control is in the locking position.

[0013] Advantageously, the cam is designed to compress the elastic return means against the floor, when the control is moved from the unlocked position to the locked position and when the anchoring part is introduced into the hole in the floor.

[0014] According to one possibility, the order forms a mooring ring.

[0015] In one embodiment, the control rotates a quarter turn between the unlocked position and the locked position.

[0016] The invention will be better understood upon reading the detailed description which follows, given solely as a non-limiting example and made with reference to the appended drawings in which:

[0017] [Fig. 1] Figure 1 represents a partial view of a trunk according to the invention implementing a first embodiment of a fixing hook introduced into an anchoring hole in a floor of the trunk;

[0018] [Fig. 2] Figure 2 represents a partial view of a trunk according to the invention implementing a second embodiment of a fixing hook introduced into an anchoring hole in a floor of the trunk;

[0019] In these figures, the same references are used to designate the same elements.

[0020] A fixing hook 1a, 1b according to the invention, illustrated in the figures, is designed to allow the fixing of luggage in a trunk 2 of a motor vehicle.

[0021] The hook 1a, 1b comprises an anchoring part 3 designed to be inserted into a fixing hole 4 provided in a floor 5. As illustrated in the figures, the anchoring part 3 has, for example, a shape inscribed in a cylinder with a circular base. The anchoring part 3 is dimensioned to be inserted into the hole 4.

[0022] The anchoring part 3 comprises retractable anchoring means 6, designed to deploy and anchor the hook 1a, 1b to the floor 5 when the anchoring part 3 is introduced into the orifice 4.

[0023] The anchoring means 6 are controlled by a control 7a, 7b of the hook 1a, 1b, mounted to move in rotation between an unlocked position (illustrated in FIG. 1), in which the anchoring means 6 are retractable to allow the passage of the anchoring part 3 in the orifice 4, and a locking position (illustrated in FIG. 2), in which the anchoring means 6 are deployed to allow the anchoring of the hook 1a, 1b on the floor 5. Advantageously, the hook 1a, 1b comprises a mechanism, not visible in the figures, which blocks the anchoring means 6 in the deployed position when the control 7a, 7b is in the locking position.

[0024] As illustrated in the figures, the control 7a, 7b forms a mooring ring 8. The mooring ring 8 makes it possible to secure luggage using, for example, a strap passed through the mooring ring 8. In the example illustrated in the figures, the control 7a, 7b rotates a quarter turn between the unlocked position, illustrated in figure 1, and the locking position, illustrated in figure 2.

[0025] In the examples illustrated in the figures, the anchoring means 6 comprise two movably mounted ears 9. When the anchoring means 6 are in the retracted position, the ears 9 are at least partly retracted or retractable into the anchoring part 3. When the anchoring means 6 are in the deployed position, the ears 9 protrude from the anchoring part 3, so as to come into contact with the floor 5 to anchor the hook 1 a, 1 b on the floor 5, preventing the anchoring part 3 from being withdrawn from the orifice 4.

[0026] The hook 1a, 1b further comprises elastic return means 10 designed to bear against the floor 5, when the hook 1a, 1b is anchored to the floor 5. In the examples illustrated in the figures, the elastic return means 10 comprise at least one hairpin spring 11 comprising at least an elastic wire 12 forming at least two strands 13a, 13b. One 13a of the strands 13a, 13b has a protrusion 14 shaped to bear against the other strand 13b when the control 7a, 7b is in the locking position. In the example illustrated in the figures, the protrusion 14 is provided at one end 15 of the elastic wire 12. In this case, the protrusion is formed by a bend in the end 15.

[0027] The control 7a, 7b and the elastic return means 10 are designed to block the compression of at least a portion of the elastic return means 10 in a compressed position when the control 7a, 7b is in the locking position. Thus, in the example illustrated in the figures, the protuberance 14 comes into contact with the strand 13b. When the two strands 13a, 13b are in contact with each other, the compression of the hairpin spring 11 is limited, or even blocked.

[0028] In the embodiments illustrated in the figures, the anchoring means 6 are designed to compress the elastic return means 10 against the floor 5, when the control is moved from the unlocked position to the locked position and when the anchoring part 3 is introduced into the orifice 4 of the floor 5.

[0029] In the embodiment illustrated in Figure 2 of the hook 1 b, the control 7 b is mounted to move about an axis of rotation A. The axis of rotation A forms a cam 16 designed to come into contact with the elastic return means 10 at least when the control 7 b is in the locking position. The cam 16 forms an addition of material on the axis of rotation A which has, according to a cross section, an elliptical or ovoidal shape.

[0030] Advantageously, the cam 16 of the anchoring means 6 is designed to compress the elastic return means 10 against the floor 5, when the control 7b is moved from the unlocked position to the locking position and when the anchoring part 3 is introduced into the orifice 4 of the floor 5.

[0031] Thus, the hook 1a, 1b makes it possible to fix luggage and / or a net intended to retain luggage. The anchoring part 3 makes it possible to engage and fix the hook 1a, 1b in the anchoring hole 4. The elastic return means 10 are designed to come into contact with the floor 5, when the hook 1a, 1b is anchored on the floor 5, and to reduce the movement of the hook 1a, 1b in the orifice 4. By tilting the control 7a, 7b, the user blocks the compression of a part of the elastic return means 10, and thus limits the possibilities of movement of the hook 1a, 1b in the direction of the floor 5. Thus, the elastic return means 10 and the control 7a, 7b by cooperating, when the control 7a, 7b is in the locking position, introduce at least partial blocking of the elastic return means 10 limiting the movement of the hook 1a, 1b anchored in the orifice 4.

[0032] The invention is not limited to the embodiment of the fixing hook described above, only by way of example, but other embodiments can be designed by those skilled in the art without departing from the scope and scope of the present invention.
