Abstract
Description
[0001] TITLE: AN ADJUSTABLE WINDOW FRAME
[0002] FIELD OF INVENTION:
[0003] The present invention relates to an adjustable window frame. It accommodates the imperfections and variations in window cavity dimensions and can be fit easily within window cavity.
[0004] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
[0005] Traditional window frames are often fixed in size, requiring precise measurements and custom manufacturing to fit individual window openings. This limitation poses challenges during installation, maintenance, and replacement, particularly in situations where standard sizes do not align with the window cavity dimensions.
[0006] Adjustable window frames aim to address these challenges by providing a versatile solution that can be tailored to fit a range of window sizes. By incorporating adjustable components and adhesive features, the invention offers flexibility and ease of installation while maintaining structural integrity and aesthetics.
[0007] The invention of the adjustable window frame stems from the longstanding challenges associated with traditional fixed-size window frames. Conventional window frames are typically manufactured in standard sizes, requiring precise measurements and custom orders to ensure a proper fit within specific window cavities. However, the one-size-fits-all approach often falls short when confronted with the imperfections and / or diverse range of window dimensions / shapes found in residential and commercial buildings.
[0008] Installation, maintenance, and replacement of traditional window frames become laborious tasks, necessitating skilled professionals and specialized equipment. Moreover, the inflexible nature of fixed-size frames limits design options and architectural possibilities, hindering creativity and innovation in building projects. Recognizing these limitations, the inventors sought to develop a solution that would offer adaptability and ease of installation without compromising on structural integrity or aesthetic appeal.
