A print provision system comprising: a content providing device that provides content to a print device and a user terminal; a terminal that receives preference designations from the user and notifies the content providing device of the designations; and a print device that obtains identification information related to the user and prints the content selected by the user to be printed, wherein the content providing device provides first content to the print device and provides second content that matches the preference to the user terminal, the terminal receives from the user a selection of third content to be printed from the second content, and the print device prints fourth content from the first content that corresponds to the third content.
2. The print providing system according to claim 1, wherein the printing device acquires the identification information displayed on a medium owned by the user.
3. The print providing system according to claim 2, wherein the medium is the terminal.
4. The print providing system of claim 1, wherein the terminal transmits the identification information and information relating to the third content to the content providing device, and the content providing device transmits the identification information and information relating to the third content in association with each other to the printing device.
5. The print provision system described in claim 1, wherein the content provision device manages each content held by linking it with attribute information analyzed from that content, and when providing the second content that matches the user's preferences, extracts content that matches the preferences and the attribute information.
6. The print provision system of claim 5, wherein, when the content includes two or more people as subjects, the content provision device identifies an evaluation value for each person as a subject in the content using a predetermined algorithm and includes the evaluation value in the attribute information.
7. The print provision system according to claim 6, wherein the content provision device, when specifying the evaluation value, determines the evaluation value according to the proportion of the area that the face or entire body of the person occupies in the image that is the content.
8. The print provision system of claim 6, wherein the content provision device, when specifying the evaluation value, determines the evaluation value based on the proximity of the center position of the image that is the content to the position where the person's face or entire body appears.
9. The print provision system of claim 6, wherein the content provision device, when specifying the evaluation value, determines the evaluation value based on the proportion of the area that the person's face or entire body occupies in the image that is the content, and the proximity of the central position of the image that is the content to the position where the person's face or entire body appears.
10. The print provision system of claim 6, wherein when the content provision device receives preferences of multiple people as the user's preferences from the user's terminal, when specifying the evaluation value, the content provision device statistically processes the evaluation values obtained for each of the preferences of the multiple people for a piece of content that includes the preferences of the multiple people as subjects, and uses the result of the statistical processing as the evaluation value of the content.
11. The print providing system described in claim 1, characterized in that the user's terminal transmits images owned by the user to the content providing device, and the content providing device receives the images owned and stores them in association with the user's preferences or the attributes of the images owned.
12. The print providing system described in claim 11, characterized in that the content providing device uses a predetermined algorithm to determine whether or not the stored images received from the user's terminal can be adopted as content related to the user's preferences.
13. A print providing method comprising the steps of: a content providing device providing first content to a printing device and providing second content that matches the user's preferences to the user's terminal; the user's terminal accepting preference designations from the user, notifying the providing device of the designations, accepting from the user a selection of third content to be printed from the second content provided by the providing device, and notifying the printing device of the selection results; and the printing device obtaining identification information related to the identification of the user, and printing fourth content that corresponds to the third content from the first content provided by the providing device for the user corresponding to the identification information.
14. A program for causing a computer to execute the steps of: providing first content to a printing device; receiving notification from the user's terminal about the user's preferences; providing second content that matches the preferences to the user's terminal; receiving from the terminal information about third content selected by the user from the second content to be printed and identification information related to the user; and transmitting the identification information and information about the third content in association with each other to the printing device.
15. A computer-readable recording medium having recorded thereon a program for executing the following steps: providing first content to a printing device; receiving notification from a user's terminal about the user's preferences; providing second content that matches the preferences to the user's terminal; receiving from the terminal information about a third content selected by the user from the second content to be printed and identification information related to the user; and transmitting the identification information and information about the third content in association with each other to the printing device.
