Claims

Claims 1. A method for producing a recess in a packaging part from a leaf material of a plant, comprising the following steps: - Providing a three-dimensionally shaped packaging part (1) made of a leaf material of a plant; - providing a negative mold (2) to the inner surface of the packaging part (1), wherein the negative mold (2) has a recess (6); - placing the packaging part (1) on the negative mold (2) in such a way that the inner surface of the packaging part (1) comes to rest on the outer surface of the negative mold (2) and the packaging part (1) is held on the negative mold (2) using a stamp (7) which presses the packaging part (1) onto the negative mold (2), wherein the packaging part (1) covers the recess (6) of the negative mold (2); and - displacing a cutting tool (3) from outside the packaging part (1) through the sheet material of the packaging part (1) into the recess (6) of the negative mold (2), so that a recess (11) is produced in the packaging part (1), wherein the negative mold (2) supports the packaging part (1) in this process.
