Description

Work machinery

[0001] The present invention relates to a work machine that is self-propelled and can perform work such as drilling.

[0002] A known example of a conventional work machine capable of drilling holes in the ground or on slopes using a hydraulic excavator such as a backhoe is a "slope drilling work vehicle comprising a vehicle body capable of self-propelling on slopes and a drilling device supported on the tip of the arm of the vehicle body, wherein the drilling device comprises: a down-the-hole hammer having a hollow pipe-shaped body, a hammer piston installed in the body, and a drilling bit protruding from the lower end of the body; and a rotary drive unit connected to the base end of the down-the-hole hammer and rotating the down-the-hole hammer; and a coupling member provided between the tip of the arm and the drilling device to rotatably support the drilling device around two axes: a first axis that is approximately parallel to the axis of rotation of the arm in the vertical direction, and a second axis that is approximately perpendicular to the first axis" (Patent Document 1).

[0003] However, with such a slope drilling work vehicle, when the down-the-hole hammer comes into contact with the ground or a slope, if the tip of the down-the-hole hammer is in contact with the ground or a slope at an approximately perpendicular angle, the hole can be drilled properly. However, if the tip of the down-the-hole hammer is placed on the ground at a slight angle to the ground, the down-the-hole hammer may shift during drilling, and the hole may not be drilled in the appropriate position.

[0004] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2019-173304

[0005] In view of the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional technology, the present invention aims to provide a work machine that can reliably drill holes in designated positions not only on level ground but also when performing drilling work on slopes, etc.

[0006] To achieve the above object, the present invention provides a work machine comprising a vehicle body, left and right traveling devices mounted on the vehicle body, a base mounted on the vehicle body, a first vehicle body mounted on the base, a swivel mechanism mounted on the top surface of the base, and a second vehicle body mounted on the swivel mechanism. The work machine according to claim 2 is characterized in that the first vehicle body is a guide device comprising an arm member pivotally supported at one end on the vehicle body and a guide member connected to the arm member, which holds a drilling device body and guides the drilling device so that it can drill a hole in a predetermined location, and the second vehicle body is a drilling device comprising a boom connected at one end to the top of the swivel mechanism, an arm connected at one end to the other end of the boom, and the drilling device body mounted on the other end of the arm. The work machine according to claim 3 is characterized in that the vehicle body further comprises left and right winches.

[0007] As is clear from the above description, the present invention provides the following advantages. (1) In the invention described in claim 1, the first work machine body is provided on the base, and the second work machine body is provided above the swivel mechanism. Therefore, by rotating the swivel mechanism, the first work machine body and the second work machine body can be rotated in relatively different directions, allowing for efficient work. (2) In the invention described in claim 2, the same advantage as in (1) above can be achieved, and work can be performed while the drilling device is guided by the guide device. This prevents deviation from the drilling position, allowing holes to be drilled easily and reliably at the intended position. (3) In the invention described in claim 3, the same advantages as in (1) and (2) above can be achieved, and work can be performed not only on flat surfaces but also on slopes, etc.

[0008] Figures 1 to 4 are explanatory diagrams showing a first embodiment of the present invention. Figures 5 and 6 are explanatory diagrams showing a second embodiment of the present invention. [0009] The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the embodiments shown in the drawings. Note that the up-down direction refers to the up-down direction in Fig. 1, the left-right direction refers to the left-right direction in Fig. 2, and the front-rear direction refers to the up-down direction in Fig. 2.

[0010] In a first embodiment of the present invention shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, reference numeral 1 denotes a self-propelled work machine that can also work on slopes 2 .

[0011] Specifically, as shown in Figures 1 and 2, this work machine 1 is composed of a work vehicle body 3, left and right traveling devices 4 provided on the work vehicle body 3, a base section 5 provided on the work vehicle body 3, a first work machine body 6 provided on the base section 5, a turning mechanism 7 provided on the upper surface of the base section 5, a second work machine body 8 provided on the top of the turning mechanism 7, a driver's seat 9 provided on the top of the turning mechanism 7, left and right winches 10 provided on the work vehicle body 3, and left and right wire fairleads 12 provided on the work vehicle body 3 and which respectively guide the wires 11 of the left and right winches 10.

[0012] The vehicle body 3 is provided with traveling devices 4 on the left and right sides of its bottom, and in this embodiment, caterpillar tracks 4 are used as the traveling devices 4. Note that tires may be used as the traveling devices 4 instead of caterpillar tracks 4.

[0013] The left and right winches 10 and the left and right wire fairleads 12 are provided on the left and right sides of the work vehicle body 3. The wire guide port 12a of the wire fairlead 12 is provided at the front of the work vehicle body 3, and the wire 11 introduced from the rear side of the wire fairlead 12 is guided from the wire guide port 12a to the front side of the work vehicle body 3. By fixing the wire 11 guided from this wire guide port 12a to the main anchor 13 at the top of the slope 2 and winding it up with the winch 10, the work vehicle can travel not only on flat surfaces and gentle slopes but also on steep slopes 2.

[0014] A base unit 5 is provided on top of the vehicle body 3, on which the first work machine body 6 and the swing mechanism 7 are mounted. This base unit 5 is desirably provided so that it can rotate up and down relative to the vehicle body 3 as necessary; for example, it is desirable that one end (front side) is attached to the vehicle body 3 via a pivot pin, and a hydraulic cylinder or the like (not shown) is provided on the rear side. By configuring the base unit 5 in this manner, it is possible to rotate the base unit 5 up and down around the pivot pin as a fulcrum, and work can be performed on slopes 2 while keeping the operator's seat 9 in which the worker sits horizontal. Note that when the base unit 5 is provided fixedly relative to the vehicle body 3, it may be provided integrally with the vehicle body 3, or the vehicle body of the vehicle body 3 may be treated as the base unit 5.

[0015] The first work machine body 6 is provided on the front side of the base part 5, and in this embodiment a guide device 6 is used as the first work machine body 6. This guide device 6 is made up of an arm member 14, one end of which is journalled to the work vehicle body 3 so as to be rotatable in the left-right and up-down directions, and a guide part 16 which is connected to the arm member 14 and holds a drilling device body 15 of the second work machine body 8, which will be described later, and guides it so that it can drill a hole in a predetermined location.

[0016] The arm member 14 is attached to the front side of the base portion 5 via an attachment member 17 that is supported by a pivot pin so that it can rotate left and right, and one end of the arm member 14 is supported by this attachment member 17 so that it can rotate up and down.

[0017] A guide section 16 that can be opened and closed like scissors is provided at the other end of this arm member 14. When guiding the hole-drilling device main body 15 with the guide section 16, the guide section 16 is opened as appropriate, the hole-drilling device main body 15 is then positioned inside the guide section 16, and the guide section 16 is closed to guide the hole-drilling device main body 15 so that it does not wobble during drilling. The guide section 16 may be provided on the arm member 14 so that it can be extended and retracted.

[0018] A second work machine body 8 and a driver's seat 9 are provided on the upper part of the base portion 5 via a swivel mechanism 7 .

[0019] In this embodiment, a drilling device 8 is used as the second work machine body 8. This drilling device 8 is composed of a boom 18 having one end connected to the upper part of the swivel mechanism 7, an arm 19 having one end connected to the other end of the boom 18, and the drilling device body 15 provided at the other end of the arm 19. In other words, a drilling device 8 having the drilling device body 15 attached thereto as an attachment for a general hydraulic excavator is used as the drilling device 8. Note that instead of an attachment for a hydraulic excavator, other well-known drilling devices 8 may also be used as the second work machine body 8. In this embodiment, a down-the-hole hammer is used as the drilling device body 15. Furthermore, in this embodiment, the drilling device body 15 is attached to the boom 18 via the arm 19, but the drilling device body 15 may also be attached directly to the boom 18.

[0020] A driver's seat 9 is provided near the second work machine body 8, and the driving device 4, winch 10, first and second work machine bodies 6, 8, etc. are operated from this driver's seat 9.

[0021] When working on a slope 2, the work machine 1 is positioned at the bottom of the slope 2, and the tips of the wires 11 of the left and right winches 10 are fixed to the main anchors 13 at the top of the slope. At this time, it is desirable to fix the wires 11 so that they form an inverted V shape in a plan view. Once the wires 11 are fixed to the main anchors 13, the winches 10 are wound up and the traveling device 4 is operated to move the work machine 1 forward.

[0022] When the work machine 1 arrives at the work position, the first and second work machine bodies 6, 8 are used to perform drilling work on the slope 2.

[0023] At this time, the first work machine body 6 is attached to the base part 5, and the second work machine body 8 is attached to the upper side of the base part 5 via the swivel mechanism 7, so that the first work machine body 6, which is the guide device 6, and the second work machine body 8, which is the drilling device 8, can rotate relatively in the swivel direction of the swivel mechanism 7, allowing work to be carried out efficiently.

[0024] In other words, by operating the swivel mechanism 7 and arm 19, etc. while the guide device 6 is positioned at the intended position for drilling, the drilling device main body 15 can be efficiently moved to the position of the guide part 16 of the guide device 6.

[0025] Furthermore, during operation, the guide portion 16 guides the drilling device main body 15, so that when drilling holes with the drilling device main body 15, the drilling device main body 15 will not shift even on inclined surfaces such as slopes, and drilling work can be carried out reliably and efficiently.

[0026] [Another embodiment for carrying out the invention] Next, a description will be given of a different embodiment for carrying out the present invention shown in Fig. 6. In describing this different embodiment, the same components as those in the first embodiment are designated by the same reference numerals, and redundant description will be omitted.

[0027] The second embodiment of the present invention shown in FIG. 6 differs from the first embodiment of the present invention mainly in that the work machine 1A is not equipped with a winch 10, but even with this type of work machine 1A, when working on substantially flat ground, the same effects as those of the first embodiment of the present invention can be obtained.

[0028] In the embodiment of the present invention, a guide device is used as the first work machine body and a drilling device is used as the second work machine body to perform drilling work, but for example, a scissor-like device or a crusher may be used as the first and second work machine bodies. Also, the same device may be used for the first and second work machine bodies.

[0029] The present invention finds application in industries that manufacture work machines used to perform a variety of tasks on flat or sloped surfaces.
