Abstract

The invention discloses system and methods for controlling a robotic endoluminal device based on an endoscopic image provided by an endoscopic camera and / or a virtual endoscopic image using at least one gesture, the method comprising: displaying an endoscopic image and / or a virtual endoscopic image; receiving an indication of at least one gesture; translating said received indication of at least one gesture into a robotic endoluminal device three-dimensional steering instruction; providing said three-dimensional steering instruction to said robotic endoluminal device.
