Thanks to this air curtain, the odors generated during cooking will be pushed into the range hood filter and will increase the efficiency of the range hood, thereby ensuring an air circulation.

[0032] Detailed Description of the Invention
[0033] The subject of the invention relates to a range hood system which may form an air duct without the need for additional apparatus.
[0034] With reference to Figure 1, the range hood (1) system of the invention is configured to direct the gaseous fluids received / withdrawn from a dining area (A). The expression "dining area" (A) refers to a part of the range hood beneath the range hood base (3), more specifically the area to which fume and similar gaseous fluids from the food rise as a result of cooking during use.
[0035] A range hood fan (12) is used to withdraw food fume and similar gaseous fluids into the range hood (1), as described in the present invention. [0041] Preferably, a separation wall (15) region is defined between the range hood air outlet (14) and the primary duct inlet (13). The separation wall (15) may be arranged as a surface forming a part of the range hood air outlet (14) as shown in figure 1. In a preferred embodiment, the separation wall (15) is arranged in a curved manner. Here, the curve is preferably provided such that the range hood air outlet (14) is widened. [0043] The mode of operation of the present invention is as follows: In the invention, the range hood (1) withdraws and filters the food fume, or similar gaseous fluid (20) from the range hood air inlet (13) by means of the range hood fan (12) therein during cooking and divides the air between the primary air duct (10) and the secondary air ducts (11). The air transferred from the secondary air duct inlet (110) to the secondary air duct is discharged by a pipe, or a similar element, connected to the secondary air duct outlet (111). The primary air duct (10), which provides the technical benefit of the invention, transfers air to the primary air duct (10) through an air duct inlet (100) designed in the form of a bent pipe to provide an air curtain. The air transferred to the primary air duct (10) is blown to a place where the air curtain is desired to be formed through the primary air duct outlet (101). As the air curtain (2) desired to be formed in the range hood (1) systems will increase the efficiency of the range hoods (1) in case that it is positioned in front of a stove, the invention intends to position the air curtain (2) in front of the stove, as can be seen in Figure 1. Therefore, the primary air duct outlet (101) is positioned above the stove so as to be somewhat in front of the stove. While the resulting air curtain (2) pushes the gaseous fluid (20) into the range hood (1), the gaseous fluid (20) filtered in the range hood (1) passes through the primary air duct (10) and is blown into the air curtain (2), thereby providing an air circulation. Due to the fact that the air from the air duct outlet (1) forms an air curtain, the food fume from a pot (5) is transferred to the range hood air inlet (8). Due to that air curtain, the invention provides an advantage to the other range hood systems in terms of efficiency.
Claims
CLAIMS1. A range hood (1) system, characterized in that it comprises: at least one range hood air inlet (13) and one range hood air outlet (14), a range hood fan (12) to withdraw gaseous fluids from a dining area (A) through said range hood air inlet (13) to the range hood air outlet (14), a primary air duct (10) comprising a primary air inlet (100) to collect the part of the gaseous fluid withdrawn by the range hood fan (12) and at least one primary air outlet (101) configured to direct the collected gaseous fluid to the dining area (A) or at least part of the surrounding thereof to form an air curtain (2).
2. A system according to Claim 1, characterized in that it comprises said air duct outlet (101), which is a longitudinal slit.
3. A system according to Claim 1, characterized in that it comprises said air duct outlet (101) which extends at least part of surrounding of the dining area.
4. A system according to Claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a separation wall (15) which divides the gaseous fluid absorbed between the primary air inlet (100) and the range hood air outlet (14).
5. A system according to Claim 4, characterized in that it comprises said separation wall (15), the part of which extends towards the range hood air outlet (14), is provided in a curved manner.
6. A system according to Claim 5, characterized in that it comprises said separation wall (15), the part of which extends towards the range hood air outlet (14), is provided in a curved manner.
7. A system according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises a secondary air duct (11) connected to said range hood air outlet (14).
