Each wooden piece 10 is a square timber (e.g., thinned cedar or cypress) measuring 45 mm to 450 mm square and 3,000 mm to 10,000 mm in the first direction X. Claims

1. A bundling material comprising: a plurality of wooden pieces each extending in a first direction; and at least one joining material joining the plurality of wooden pieces; wherein the plurality of wooden pieces include a first wooden piece and a second wooden piece adjacent to the first wooden piece in a second direction intersecting the first direction; the at least one joining material including a first joining material joining the first wooden piece and the second wooden piece; the first wooden piece having a first groove portion provided on a first surface of the first wooden piece facing the second wooden piece and extending along the first surface; the second wooden piece having a second groove portion provided on a second surface of the second wooden piece facing the first wooden piece and extending along the second surface; the first joining material being accommodated across the first groove portion and the second groove portion, joining the first wooden piece and the second wooden piece.

The binding material according to claim 1, wherein the first groove portion and the second groove portion each extend in a third direction intersecting the second direction, the first groove portion penetrates the first wooden piece in the third direction, and the second groove portion penetrates the second wooden piece in the third direction.

The bundling material of claim 2, wherein the plurality of wooden pieces includes a third wooden piece adjacent to the second wooden piece in the second direction and located on the opposite side of the second wooden piece from the first wooden piece in the second direction; the at least one joining material includes a second joining material joining the second wooden piece and the third wooden piece; the second wooden piece is provided on a third surface of the second wooden piece facing the third wooden piece and has a third groove portion extending along the third surface; the third wooden piece is provided on a fourth surface of the third wooden piece facing the second wooden piece, facing the third groove portion and having a fourth groove portion extending along the fourth surface; the third groove portion and the fourth groove portion each extend in the third direction; the second joining material is accommodated across the third groove portion and the fourth groove portion to join the second wooden piece and the third wooden piece; and the first joining material and the second joining material are located at different positions in the first direction.

The bundling material described in claim 3, wherein the at least one joining material includes a third joining material joining the first wood and the second wood, the first wood being provided on the first surface and having a fifth groove portion extending along the first surface and spaced apart from the first groove portion in the first direction, the second wood being provided on the second surface opposite the fifth groove portion and having a sixth groove portion extending along the second surface, the fifth groove portion and the sixth groove portion each extending in the third direction, the third joining material being accommodated across the fifth groove portion and the sixth groove portion to join the first wood and the second wood, and the second joining material being located between the first joining material and the third joining material in the first direction.

The bundling material according to claim 3 or 4, wherein the plurality of wooden pieces are square timbers each measuring 45 mm to 450 mm square and having a dimension in the first direction of 3000 mm to 10000 mm, and the dimension in the first direction between the first joining material and the second joining material is 300 mm to 500 mm.

The bundling material according to any one of claims 2 to 5, wherein the plurality of wooden pieces includes a fourth wooden piece adjacent to the first wooden piece in the third direction, the at least one joining material includes a fourth joining material joining the first wooden piece and the fourth wooden piece, the first wooden piece having a seventh groove provided on a fifth surface of the first wooden piece facing the fourth wooden piece and extending along the fifth surface, the fourth wooden piece having an eighth groove provided on a sixth surface of the fourth wooden piece facing the first wooden piece, facing the seventh groove and extending along the sixth surface, the seventh groove and the eighth groove each extending in the second direction, the fourth joining material is accommodated across the seventh groove and the eighth groove to join the first wooden piece and the fourth wooden piece, and the first joining material and the fourth joining material are located at different positions in the first direction.

The bundling material of claim 6, wherein the plurality of wooden pieces includes a third wooden piece adjacent to the second wooden piece in the second direction and located on the opposite side of the second wooden piece from the first wooden piece in the second direction; the at least one joining material includes a second joining material joining the second wooden piece and the third wooden piece; the second wooden piece is provided on a third surface of the second wooden piece facing the third wooden piece and has a third groove portion extending along the third surface; the third wooden piece is provided on a fourth surface of the third wooden piece facing the second wooden piece, facing the third groove portion and having a fourth groove portion extending along the fourth surface; the third groove portion and the fourth groove portion each extend in the third direction; the second joining material is accommodated across the third groove portion and the fourth groove portion to join the second wooden piece and the third wooden piece; and the first joining material and the second joining material are located in different positions in the first direction, and the fourth joining material is located between the first joining material and the second joining material.

The bundling material according to claim 6 or 7, wherein the plurality of wooden pieces are square timbers each 45 mm to 450 mm square and having a dimension in the first direction of 3000 mm to 10000 mm, the dimension in the first direction between the first joining material and the fourth joining material is 150 mm to 250 mm, and the dimension in the first direction between the fourth joining material and the second joining material is 150 mm to 250 mm.

9. The binding material according to any one of claims 1 to 8, wherein the plurality of pieces of wood are thinned cedar or cypress.

10. A binding material according to any one of claims 1 to 9, wherein said at least one binding material is a shredded piece of Japanese cypress or Japanese zelkova.
