Window treatments may include, for example, roller shades, roman shades, Venetian blinds, or draperies. A roller shade typically includes a flexible shade fabric wound onto an elongated roller tube. Such a roller shade may include a weighted hembar located at a lower end of the shade fabric. The hembar may cause the shade fabric to hang in front of one or more windows over which the roller shade is mounted.

[0005] Embodiments are described herein for a training kit for installation of one or more window treatments. The training kit may include various components. The components may be configured to different mounting configurations. The mounting configurations may include a singleshade inside-mount installation configuration, a single shade outside-mount installation configuration, dual-shade outside-mount installation configuration, and / or dual-shade outside-mount angled installation configuration. The components of the training kit may be configured to fit in a container that meets one or more threshold requirements for shipping or travel.

The single-shade inside-mount installation configuration may include a base support structure and / or a mounting structure. The mounting structure may be configured to be fastened to the base support structure. [0023] FIG. 1A depicts an example window treatment 100 (e.g., a motorized window treatment system) that includes a roller tube 110 and a flexible material 120 (e.g, a covering material) windingly attached to the roller tube 110. The window treatment 100 may include one or more mounting brackets 130 (e.g, 130a, 130b) configured to be coupled to or otherwise mounted to a structure. For example, each of the mounting brackets 130 may be configured to be mounted to (e.g., attached to) a window frame, a wall, a ceiling, or other structure, such that the window treatment 100 is mounted proximate to an opening (e.g, over the opening or in the opening), such as a window for example. The mounting brackets 130 may be configured to be mounted to a vertical structure (e.g., wall-mounted to a wall as shown in FIG. 1A) and / or mounted to a horizontal structure (e.g, ceiling-mounted to a ceiling).

For example, the drive assembly 160 may include a control circuit that may include a microprocessor and may be mounted to a printed circuit board. The drive assembly 160 may be powered by a power source (e.g., an alternating-current or direct-current power source). The power source may be external to the window treatment 100 and provide power by electrical wiring connected to the drive assembly 160. The mounting brackets 130 may be configured to secure, without requiring a tool, the roller tube 110 in a first direction parallel to the longitudinal axis 112 (e.g, the longitudinal direction L), in a second direction that is parallel to the structure and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (e.g., the transverse direction T), and in a third direction perpendicular to the structure and the longitudinal axis (e.g, the radial direction R). When the end portion 114 of the drive assembly 160 is fully installed in the channel 138, the sliding cover 136 may be rotated into the closed position in which the sliding cover 136 hides the end portion 114 and the channel 138 from view. The sliding cover 136 may have the same color and / or finish as the arm 135 of the mounting bracket 130 to provide a consistent appearance.

The base 132 of the respective mounting bracket 130a, 130b may be configured to conceal the electrical wall box 190. The electrical wiring 180 may terminate at a plug 182. The plug 182 may be configured to engage a corresponding socket 116 on the end portion 114 of the drive assembly 160. The plug 182 may be inserted into the socket 116 prior to installing the end portion 114 of the drive assembly 160 into the channel 138. After the plug 182 is connected to the socket 116, the end portion 114 of the drive assembly 160 and the end portion of the idler may be slid into the channels of the respective mounting brackets 130a, 130b (e.g., in the radial direction R when the mounting brackets are wall-mounted or in the transverse direction T when the mounting brackets are ceiling-mounted). The electrical wiring 180 may be compressed in a rear portion of the channel 138 that is not occupied by the end portion 114 of the drive assembly 160.

9. The window treatment installation training kit of claim 4, wherein the first mounting target plate and the second mounting target plate are each interchangeable with other mounting target plates on one or more other components of the window treatment installation training kit.
10. The window treatment installation training kit of claim 4, further comprising the brackets of the window treatment, wherein the brackets comprise a first bracket and a second bracket, wherein the first bracket and the second bracket are configured to mount to respective ones of the first mounting target plate and the second mounting target plate.
11. The window treatment installation training kit of claim 2, wherein the mounting structure comprises a third mounting structure portion, wherein the third mounting structure portion comprises a ceiling mounting portion extending on a first plane and a wall mounting portion extending on a second plane perpendicular to the first plane.
12. The window treatment installation training kit of claim 11, wherein the mounting area comprises a first mounting area, wherein the ceiling mounting portion defines a second mounting area outside of the recess to which brackets of a second window treatment configuration are configured to mount.
13. The window treatment installation training kit of claim 12, wherein the wall mounting portion defines a third mounting area outside of the recess to which brackets of a third windowtreatment configuration are configured to mount.
14. The window treatment installation training kit of claim 13, wherein the at least one mounting target plate comprises a first at least one mounting target plate, and wherein the third mounting structure portion comprises at least one second mounting target plate on the wall mounting portion and at least one third mounting target plate on the ceiling mounting portion.
15. The window treatment installation training kit of claim 13, further comprising: a base support structure, wherein the first mounting area, the second mounting area, and the third mounting area are each located a respective defined distance from the base support structure.
16. The window treatment installation training kit of claim 3, wherein the first mounting structure portion is alternatively configured to be fastened to the second mounting structure portion at respective first sidewalls to define a second planar portion that defines an outside-mount configuration area to which brackets of a second window treatment configuration are configured to mount.
17. The window treatment installation training kit of claim 16, wherein the first mounting structure portion and the second mounting structure portion comprise respective sidewalls configured to be adjoined to define the outside-mount configuration area on the second planar portion of the first mounting structure portion and the second mounting structure portion.
18. The window treatment installation training kit of claim 17, wherein the at least one mounting target plate comprises a first mounting target plate, wherein the second planar portion of the first mounting structure portion includes a second mounting target plate and the second planar portion of the second mounting structure portion includes a third mounting target plate.
19. The window treatment installation training kit of claim 18, wherein the mounting configuration structure comprises a third mounting structure portion, wherein the third mounting structure portion comprises a ceiling mounting portion extending on a first plane and a wallmounting portion extending on a second plane perpendicular to the first plane.
20. The window treatment installation training kit of claim 19, further comprising a base support structure, wherein the base support structure comprises the third mounting structure portion, and wherein the third mounting structure portion is configured to support the first mounting structure portion and the second mounting structure portion.
21. The window treatment installation training kit of claim 1, wherein the mounting area is within a mounting structure portion that comprises at least one of a ceiling mounting portion extending on a first plane or a wall mounting portion extending on a second plane perpendicular to the first plane.
22. The window treatment installation training kit of claim 21, wherein the at least one mounting target plate is on at least one of the wall mounting portion or the ceiling mounting portion.
23. The window treatment installation training kit of claim 21, further comprising: a base support structure, wherein the mounting area is located a defined distance from the base support structure.
24. The window treatment installation training kit of claim 1, wherein the mounting structure comprises a first mounting structure portion and a second mounting structure portion, wherein the first mounting structure portion and the second mounting structure portion are configured to be adjoined at respective side walls defining the mounting area as an outside-mount configuration area to which brackets of the motorized window treatment are configured to mount.
25. The window treatment installation training kit of claim 24, wherein the at least one mounting target plate comprises at least one first mounting target plate and at least one second mounting target plate, and wherein the at least one first mounting target plate is located on the first planar portion of the first mounting structure portion and the at least one second mounting target plate is located on the first planar portion of the second mounting structure portion.
26. The window treatment installation training kit of claim 25, wherein the mounting structure is supported by a third mounting structure portion, wherein the third mounting structure portion is configured to be fastened to a second planar portion of the first mounting structure portion and the second mounting structure portion.
27. The window treatment installation training kit of claim 1, wherein the mounting structure comprises a first mounting structure portion, a second mounting structure portion, and a third mounting structure portion, wherein the third mounting structure portion comprises a first portion installed on a first plane and a second portion installed on a second plane that is perpendicular to the first plane.
28. The window treatment installation training kit of claim 1, further comprising: a base support structure, wherein the base support structure comprises a plurality of support members.
29. The window treatment installation training kit of claim 28, wherein the base support structure further comprises a base layer configured to receive each support member of the plurality of support members in a respective track.
30. The window treatment installation training kit of claim 29, wherein the base support layer comprises a container configured to store the components of the motorized window treatment installation kit, and wherein the respective tracks configured to receive each support member of the plurality of support members are on an outside surface of the container.
31. The window treatment installation training kit of claim 30, wherein each tack comprises a slat in the track configured to fit a notch in the respective support member configured to be mounted in the track to prevent movement of the support member in the track.
32. The window treatment installation kit of claim 1, wherein the window treatment installationkit comprises the brackets and a corresponding window treatment for being installed with the brackets.
33. The window treatment installation kit of claim 1, wherein the window treatment installation kit comprises a plurality of different types of brackets and a plurality of window treatments that are each configured for being installed with a corresponding type of brackets.
34. A window treatment installation training kit configured for training an installation of a window treatment, the mounting structure comprising a mounting structure comprising: a first sill plate; a second sill plate; and an angled attachment member configured to attach to a first end of the first sill plate extending on a first plane and to a second end of the second sill plate at extending on a second plane to form an angular offset between the first plane and the second plane, wherein the angular offset not parallel or perpendicular, wherein the first sill plate, the second sill plate, and the angled attachment member are configured to define a mounting area to which brackets of the motorized window treatment configured to mount.
35. The window installation training kit of claim 34, wherein the first sill plate comprises at least one first mounting target plate to which at least one first bracket of the brackets is configured to mount, wherein the second sill plate comprises at least one second mounting target plate to which at least one second bracket of the brackets is configured to mount, and wherein the angled attachment member comprises at least one third mounting target plate to which at least one third bracket of the brackets is configured to mount.
36. A method of configuring a mounting structure from components of a window treatment installation training kit configured for training installations of different window treatment configurations, the method comprising: selecting the components of the mounting structure implemented in a first mountingconfiguration for training an installer for mounting first brackets or a first window treatment; identifying an orientation of each of the components according to the first mounting configuration; fastening at least a subset of the components of the first mounting configuration in the identified orientation for training the installer for mounting the first brackets or the first window treatment to the mounting structure; identifying an updated orientation of at least one of the components implemented in a second mounting configuration for training the installer for mounting second brackets or a second window treatment; and fastening at least a subset of the components of the second mounting configuration in the updated orientation for training the installer for mounting the second brackets or the second window treatment to the mounting structure.
37. The method of claim 36, wherein the components of the mounting structure comprise mounting target plates that define respective mounting areas to which the first brackets and the second brackets are configured to mount, the method further comprising: mounting the first brackets and the second brackets to the mounting target plates.
38. The method of claim 36, wherein the first mounting configuration and the second mounting each comprise one of a single-shade inside-mount installation configuration, a single shade outsidemount installation configuration, a dual-shade outside-mount installation configuration, or dualshade outside-mount angled installation configuration.
39. The method of claim 38, wherein further comprising: securing the mounting structure to a base support structure, wherein the base support structure comprises a container configured to store the components.
40. The method of claim 39, further comprising: orienting each of the components and fitting each of the components in a defined location and the orientation within the container for storage.
