Abstract
Description
DESCRIPTION TITLE OF THE INVENTION: SYSTEM FOR DISASSEMBLING AN ELECTRONIC BOARD FROM A DEVICE TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The technical field of the invention is that of devices such as percussion massage guns which include a removable battery and an electronic board.
[0002] The present invention relates in particular to a dismantling method and an apparatus enabling this method. TECHNOLOGICAL BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0003] Devices with a removable battery and electronic circuit board, such as percussion massage guns, are not easy to disassemble, or their design does not allow easy access to the parts that need replacing. Indeed, for aesthetic reasons, the components used for disassembly, such as flexible plastic screw covers, are not meant to be visible. Often these devices are not designed to be disassembled, and when they are, disassembly is complex and requires mechanical or even electronic expertise. When they are disassemblable, the number of steps required is relatively large and necessitates a wide variety of tools.
[0004] Users of these devices are concerned with extending the life of their equipment by repairing it with spare parts. That's why they need to be able to easily disassemble it for maintenance and repair, replacing only the faulty parts without having to discard or buy a whole new product.
[0005] On the other hand, it can be dangerous to disassemble the device without removing the battery, as there is a risk of damaging the electronic board or PCB. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0006] The invention offers a solution to the problems mentioned above, by allowing easy disassembly and ensuring that the battery is removed before accessing the electronic board so that it is no longer powered.
[0007] One aspect of the invention relates to a method for disassembling a device comprising an electronic board, a removable battery, and a casing with two openings making an angle α with each other, the angle α being between 45° and 135°, preferably 90°, the battery being located opposite a first opening and an electronic board located opposite a second opening and attached to a cover, the process comprising the following steps: - a first step of battery seizure, - a second stage of battery extraction, the extraction of the battery releasing the electronic board, a third stage of extraction of the cover with the electronic board.
[0008] Unlike prior art devices where the electronic board is removed first, thanks to the invention the battery must be extracted to free the electronic board, which guarantees the durability of the electronic board.
[0009] The electronic board is connected to the battery by a connector making an angle [3 with the battery, the angle [3 being between -20° and +20°, preferably 0°, i.e. parallel to the upper surface of the battery.
[0010] According to a first embodiment, the battery removal step to free the electronic board consists of disengaging a battery tab from a loop attached to the cover. As long as the tab is engaged in the loop, the user cannot remove the cover and therefore cannot access the electronic board.
[0011] According to a second embodiment, the battery removal step to free the electronic board consists of disengaging a battery tab from a hook attached to the cover. The hook has one end butted against the tab, preventing the cover and electronic board from detaching.
[0012] According to a third embodiment, the battery removal step to free the electronic board consists of releasing a battery tab from an internal recess in the cover. The tab is inserted into a recess provided for this purpose in the cover; its release allows the cover to be removed.
[0013] According to a fourth embodiment, the battery removal step to free the electronic board consists of releasing a battery tab from an outer surface of the cover. The tab is pressed against the outer surface of the cover and prevents its removal.
[0014] Advantageously, the tab is flush with the outer surface of the cover. A flush tab allows for a smooth cover surface. If it is not flush and protrudes sufficiently, it can assist in battery removal.
[0015] According to a fifth embodiment, the battery removal step to free the electronic board is preceded by a sliding step of a T-shaped tab within a C-shaped recess located in a lug on the battery, the tab being fixed to the cover. The bar of the T locks both the battery and the cover. The C-shaped recess locks the battery in place, and sliding the tab releases it.
[0016] According to a sixth embodiment, the step of removing the battery to release the electronic board is preceded by a step consisting of turning a key located in the cover from a closed position to an open position, the key having a U-shaped end movable between: - a closed position where the U is parallel to a top surface of the battery where the key is locked in translation and - an open position where the U has a position perpendicular to the upper surface of the battery where the key is movable in translation.
[0017] When the key is in the closed position, it locks both the battery and the hood. Rotating it releases the battery, while the U-shaped end locks the hood until the battery is removed.
[0018] Advantageously, the battery is extracted using a peripheral gripping edge provided on one end of the battery.
[0019] Advantageously, the hood includes clips for attaching it to the shell.
[0020] Another aspect of the invention relates to a device, such as a massage gun, for carrying out the method and having at least one of the preceding characteristics. The device comprises a casing with two openings positioned at an angle to each other, a battery located opposite one of the openings, and an electronic circuit board located opposite a second opening and attached to a cover. The battery includes a tab at one end. This tab prevents the cover from being removed.
[0021] According to a first embodiment, the lug cooperates with a loop attached to the hood.
[0022] According to a second embodiment, the lug cooperates with a hook attached to the hood.
[0023] According to a third embodiment, the lug is inserted into an internal recess in the hood.
[0024] According to a fourth embodiment, the lug is flush with an outer surface of the hood.
[0025] According to a fifth embodiment, the lug has a C-shaped housing, the hood comprising a T-shaped sliding pull tab cooperating with the C-shaped housing.
[0026] According to a sixth embodiment, the lug is C-shaped at one end, the cover comprising a key terminating in a U-shaped end cooperating with the C-shaped lug, the U-shaped end being movable between: - a closed position where the U is parallel to a top surface of the battery where the key is locked in translation and - an open position where the U is perpendicular to the upper surface of the battery where the key is movable in translation

[0038] Unless otherwise specified, the same element appearing on figures has a unique reference.
[0039] Throughout the description, elements placed at the top of the figures will be called "top" or "superior," and those placed at the bottom of the figures will be called "bottom" or "inferior."
[0040] In Figure 1, the device is a T-shaped pistol 1, according to an embodiment of the invention, comprising a two-part casing 10 and 11 separated by a diagonal cut at the intersection of the T-shape. The first part 10 includes a motor, and the second part 11 includes a battery 2 and an electronic circuit board 3. This second part 11 has two openings 110 and 111, positioned orthogonally to each other in this example and each closed by a cover 20 and 30. The first opening 110 is located at the bottom of the second part 10 of the casing and allows the insertion of the battery 2; it is closed by one end 20 of the battery 2. This end 20 is preferably attached to the battery 2. The second opening 111, located on one side, is closed by a cover 30, which is attached to the electronic circuit board 3. The end 20 can be detached from the battery 2 without removing it. within the framework of the present invention. The electronic board is connected to battery 2 by a connector 36.
[0041] In the first embodiment shown in Figure 2, the battery includes a lug 21 on its upper surface 25; this lug 21 fits into a loop 31 oriented parallel to the upper surface 25 of battery 2, attached to the cover 30 and the electronic board 3. Optionally, the procedure according to this embodiment consists of first opening the casing to separate the two parts 10 and 11 (Figure 2, Image A). Then, battery 2 is removed (Figure 2, Image B) from end 20 by pulling on the peripheral edge 200, which is flush with the first part 10 of the cover and allows the user to grip it. When battery 2 is removed, the tab 21 disengages from the loop 31 of the cover 30, thus allowing it to be removed with the electronic board 3 (Figure 3, Image C). This ensures that the electronic board 3 is never accessible until battery 2 has been removed.
[0042] In the second embodiment illustrated in Figure 3, a hook 32, fixed on one side to the cover 30, extends with a surface 320 parallel to the upper surface 25 of the battery 2 and terminates in a perpendicular return 321. The battery's lug 21 is positioned between the return 321 and the cover 30, preventing the removal of the cover 30 and the electronic board 3. The procedure in this embodiment, as in the previous embodiment, consists of removing the battery 2 first (Figure 3, image B) to free the return 321 and release the cover 30 and the electronic board 3 (Figure 3, image C).
[0043] In the third embodiment shown in Figure 4, the cover 30 has an internal recess 33 into which the tab 21 of the battery 2 is inserted, again preventing the removal of the cover 30 (Figure 4, Image A). In this embodiment, the tab 21 is closer to the edge 22 of the battery 2, or even aligned with it, than before, so that it fits between the electronic board 3 and the outer surface 300 of the cover 30. The process is identical to the previous ones; removing the battery 2 releases the tab 21 and frees the cover 30 (Figure 4, Image B).
[0044] The fourth embodiment is similar to the third, except that the lug 21 is aligned with the edge 22 of battery 2 and is pressed against the outer surface 300, either flush or protruding. If the lug 21 is flush, it is more aesthetically pleasing; if it protrudes, it can be used to push battery 2 out of the second part 11 of the casing. The process is identical to the previous ones.
[0045] The fifth embodiment is illustrated in Figure 6. Battery 2 includes a C-shaped lug 23 open parallel to the upper surface 25 of battery 2. C and lug 23 cooperate with a T-shaped pull tab 34. The pull tab 34 slides parallel to the upper surface 25 of the battery 2 in a housing 340 provided for this purpose in the cover 30. The pull tab 34 has the bar 341 of the T perpendicular to the upper surface 25 and the foot 342 of the T parallel to the upper surface 25. The pull tab 34 moves between two positions: a closed position where the foot 342 of the T is in the C-shaped form of the lug 23 and an open position where the foot 342 is out of the C-shaped form. In the open position, the battery 2 is detached from the cover 30 and can be removed, but the bar 341 of the T continues to block the cover 30 and the electronic board 3 (Figure 6 image A) as long as the battery is in place. In this embodiment, the extraction of battery 2 is therefore preceded by sliding the pull tab 34 from the closed position to the open position (figure 6 image B), then battery 2 is removed, which frees the bar 341 from the T, the cover 30 and the electronic board 3 (figure 6 image C).
[0046] In the sixth embodiment, shown in Figure 7, the battery 2 includes a C-shaped lug 24 open upwards, perpendicular to the upper surface 25 of the battery 2. This lug 24 cooperates with a key 35 that rotates freely in the cover 30. The key 35 has a U-shaped end that is movable between: - a closed position where the U has a position parallel to the upper surface 25 of the battery 2 where the key 35 is blocked in vertical translation by the C-shaped shape (figure 7 image A) and - an open position where the U has a position perpendicular to the upper surface 25 of the battery 2 where the key 35 is movable in translation and allows the extraction of the battery 2 (figure 7 image B).
[0047] The open position of key 35 prevents the removal of cover 30, as the prongs 350 of the U-shaped bracket, which rest against lug 24, obstruct it. Here again, battery 2 must first be removed before cover 30 and electronic board 3 can be removed.
[0048] Optionally, an L-shaped cover 4 can be fitted to the rear of the motor for protection. In the first and second embodiments, the cover 4 may include a protrusion 40 which bears against the loop 31 (first embodiment) or the hook 32 (second embodiment) in order to keep the loop 31 or the hook 32 in position on the lug 21.
[0049] In the variant illustrated in Figure 9, the battery 2 and the electronic board 3 make an angle α between 45° and 135°, the connector 36 of the electronic board makes an angle [3] with respect to the battery, an angle which is between -20° and +20°, preferably 0° as shown in Figure 9, that is to say that the connector 36 is parallel to the upper surface of the battery 2.
