Abstract
Description
Collection kit jig
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a collection kit fixture used to connect a collection kit to a culture bottle.
[0002] Blood products include red blood cell products, plasma products, platelet products, and whole blood products. Blood products containing the components needed by patients are used for transfusions. Blood products are stored and transported in medical bags. To ensure safety, small samples of blood products may be taken and cultured. Culture tests detect the presence or absence of pathogens by collecting the sample in a culture bottle and placing the bottle in an environment favorable for bacterial growth.
[0003] For example, testing of platelet preparations is performed as follows: A small-capacity collection bag is connected to a medical bag containing the platelet preparation (hereinafter referred to as the platelet bag). Then, a portion of the platelet preparation in the platelet bag is transferred to the collection bag. Next, the collection bag is disconnected from the platelet bag.
[0004] The collection bag is then transferred to a clean bench or a safety cabinet. In the clean bench, the platelet product in the collection bag is injected into a blood culture bottle. Prior to injection, the tube of the collection bag is connected to a tube extending from a sample collection tube. Using the scale on the sample collection tube as a guide, a predetermined amount of the platelet product is transferred from the collection bag to the sample collection tube.
[0005] The operator then operates the valve of the sample collection tube while visually checking the scale on the sample collection tube to transfer a specified amount of platelet product from the sample collection tube to a blood culture bottle. The culture test involves anaerobic and aerobic culture. Therefore, the platelet product is dispensed into a culture bottle for anaerobic culture and another for aerobic culture. The culture bottles are then placed in a culture device and subjected to culture testing for a specified period.
[0006] For example, US Pat. No. 8,777,921 discloses a collection kit for collecting samples from medical bags.
[0007] U.S. Patent No. 8,777,921
[0008] In order to further improve the safety of blood products, culture testing of all blood products is being considered. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the work efficiency of culture testing of blood products. Therefore, it is desirable to be able to efficiently transfer the blood samples from multiple storage compartments in a collection kit to culture bottles.
[0009] The present disclosure aims to solve the above-mentioned problems.
[0010] (1) An aspect of the present disclosure is a collection kit jig used to connect a collection kit containing a collection target to a culture bottle, the collection kit jig comprising: a kit holding part that holds the collection kit; a bottle holding member that is provided below the kit holding part and has a plurality of bottle support parts that can hold a plurality of the culture bottles, respectively; an elevating mechanism that moves the kit holding part in a vertical direction relative to the bottle holding member; and a rotating mechanism that rotates the bottle holding member around a rotation axis that is along the relative movement direction between the bottle holding member and the kit holding part, a collection kit jig capable of performing an approaching operation in which the kit holding part and the bottle holding member are moved relatively in a direction bringing them closer to each other in order to connect the bottle connection part of the collection kit to the culture bottle, and a separating operation in which the kit holding part and the bottle holding member are moved relatively in a direction moving them away from each other in order to release the connection between the bottle connection part of the collection kit and the culture bottle, wherein the multiple bottle support parts are arranged in a circumferential direction centered on the rotation axis, and the rotation mechanism rotates the bottle holding member in conjunction with the approaching operation or the separating operation of the lifting mechanism.
[0011] According to this collection kit jig, the bottle holding member is rotated in accordance with the operation of the lifting mechanism, thereby enabling efficient transfer of the collection target to a plurality of culture bottles.
[0012] (2) In the collection kit jig described in (1) above, the rotation mechanism may rotate the bottle holding member after the connection between the collection kit and the culture bottle is released when the lifting mechanism performs the separating operation.
[0013] With this configuration, the bottle holding member can be rotated with the collection kit and culture bottle disconnected, and the next culture bottle on the bottle holding member can be brought face to face with the bottle connecting portion of the collection kit.
[0014] (3) In the collection kit jig described in (1) or (2) above, the collection kit may include an inflow tube to which a medical bag is connected, a collection bag connected downstream of the inflow tube and having a plurality of storage chambers for storing the objects to be collected, and a single outflow port connected to the plurality of storage chambers for transferring the objects to be collected to the culture bottle.
[0015] This configuration allows the collection objects stored in the multiple storage chambers to be efficiently transferred to each of the multiple culture bottles.
[0016] (4) In the collection kit jig described in (3) above, the kit holding portion may include a base portion that holds the collection kit and a lid portion that is openable and closable on the base portion, and by closing the lid portion against the base portion, the collection kit may be covered by the base portion and the lid portion.
[0017] With this configuration, the collection kit can be effectively held in the kit holder by closing the lid.
[0018] (5) In the collection kit jig described in (4) above, the collection bag has a single main flow path connecting the inlet tube and the outlet port, a plurality of connecting flow paths provided between the main flow path and the plurality of storage chambers and connecting each of the storage chambers to the main flow path, and a connection portion connecting the plurality of connecting flow paths to the main flow path, the main flow path having an inlet side flow path connecting the connection portion to the inlet tube and an outlet side flow path connecting the connection portion to the outlet port, the collection kit having a flow path switching portion that selectively connects any one of the plurality of connecting flow paths to the outlet side flow path, the lid portion having a notch cut out in the thickness direction of the collection bag, and the flow path switching portion may be provided in the notch when the collection kit is held on the base portion and the lid portion is closed.
[0019] With this configuration, when the lid is closed, the flow path switching unit is exposed to the outside of the lid by the cutout, making it easy to operate the flow path switching unit.
[0020] (6) In the collection kit jig described in (4) above, the collection bag has a single main flow path connecting the inlet tube and the outlet port, a plurality of connecting flow paths provided between the main flow path and the plurality of storage chambers and connecting each of the storage chambers to the main flow path, and a connection portion connecting the plurality of connecting flow paths to the main flow path, and the main flow path has an inlet side flow path connecting the connection portion to the inlet tube and an outlet side flow path connecting the connection portion to the outlet port, and the lid portion may have a flow path switching portion that selectively connects any one of the plurality of connecting flow paths to the outlet side flow path.
[0021] With this configuration, by providing the flow path switching unit on the lid, the user can easily operate the flow path switching unit.
[0022] (7) In the collection kit jig described in any one of (1) to (6) above, the collection kit jig may include a base that is positioned below the kit holding portion and holds the bottle holding member, and the bottle holding member may be detachably attached to the base.
[0023] This configuration allows the culture bottle to be moved (rotated) together with the bottle holding member, thereby improving the efficiency of the work of transferring the sampled objects.
[0024] According to the present disclosure, a lifting mechanism is provided that moves the kit holding part relatively up and down with respect to the bottle holding member, and the bottle holding member, which can hold multiple culture bottles, is rotated in conjunction with the operation of the lifting mechanism, thereby enabling the efficient transfer of the sample to multiple culture bottles.

[0026] As shown in FIG. 1 , the collection kit jig 10A according to the first embodiment is used to connect a collection kit 12A to multiple culture bottles 14. The collection kit 12A is used to transfer collection objects M contained in a medical bag 16 shown in FIG. 2 to multiple culture bottles 14. The collection objects M are, for example, blood products such as platelet products. The collection objects M may also be pharmaceuticals other than blood products. The collection objects M may also be liquid samples other than pharmaceuticals. The medical bag 16 may be a blood bag system that centrifuges blood containing multiple components into multiple components with different specific gravities (e.g., three components: a light component, a medium component, and a heavy component, or two components: a light component and a heavy component), and separates and stores each component in a different bag. In this case, the collection kit 12A may be connected to the blood bag system.
[0027] The collection kit 12A is used, for example, in culture tests to confirm the safety of blood products at business establishments such as blood centers that manufacture blood products. The culture tests involve culturing anaerobic bacteria and aerobic bacteria. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 3 , two culture bottles 14 are used for the culture test: a culture bottle 14 for anaerobic culture (hereinafter also referred to as the "first culture bottle 141") and a culture bottle 14 for aerobic culture (hereinafter also referred to as the "second culture bottle 142"). The collection kit 12A is used to collect a liquid sample (platelet product) and dispense a predetermined amount into each of the two culture bottles 14.
[0028] As shown in FIG. 2 , the collection kit 12A includes an inflow tube 18 to which the medical bag 16 is connected, a collection bag 20, a bottle connector 22 connectable to the culture bottle 14, and a holder 24. The bottle connector 22 (hereinafter also referred to as "adapter 22") may be detachable from the collection bag 20. Hereinafter, the extension direction (arrow V direction) of the inflow tube 18 in the collection kit 12A shown in FIG. 1 will be referred to as the up-down direction. The direction perpendicular to the up-down direction (arrow W direction) will be referred to as the width direction of the collection kit 12A, and the direction perpendicular to the up-down direction and the width direction will be referred to as the thickness direction of the collection kit 12A. The collection kit 12A is generally used with the up-down direction aligned vertically.
[0029] The inflow tube 18 is a transparent or translucent medical tube. The inflow tube 18 is made of a thermoplastic resin such as polyvinyl chloride resin. The inflow tube 18 can be connected to or disconnected from other medical tubes without exposing the inside to the outside air by using a sterile connection device or a tube sealer.
[0030] The inflow tube 18 has an upstream end 181 and a downstream end 182. In the initial state when the collection kit 12A is provided as a product, the upstream end 181 is welded and sealed. The downstream end 182 is connected to the upper edge of the collection bag 20 via a relay member 261. The relay member 261 is, for example, a sleeve made of a material harder than the collection bag 20.
[0031] The collection bag 20 is connected downstream of the inflow tube 18. The collection bag 20 has two flexible sheets 28 that are overlapped and welded together in the thickness direction. The collection bag 20 includes multiple storage chambers 30, a single main flow path 32, an exhaust flow path 34, multiple connecting flow paths 36, a single outlet port 38, and an exhaust section 40. The main flow path 32, the exhaust flow path 34, the multiple connecting flow paths 36, and the multiple storage chambers 30 are disposed between the two flexible sheets 28 and each bulge in the thickness direction of the collection bag 20.
[0032] The collection bag 20 has a first region 20R and a second region 20L. The first region 20R is located to the right of the width center of the collection bag 20. The second region 20L is located to the left of the width center of the collection bag 20.
[0033] The plurality of storage chambers 30 store collection targets M (see FIG. 2 ). The plurality of storage chambers 30 include a first storage chamber 301 and a second storage chamber 302. Note that the plurality of storage chambers 30 is not limited to two storage chambers 30. The plurality of storage chambers 30 may be composed of three or more storage chambers 30.
[0034] The first storage chamber 301 has an elliptical shape that is elongated in the vertical direction of the collection bag 20. The first storage chamber 301 is provided in the first region 20R. The volume of the first storage chamber 301 is, for example, approximately 8 mL to approximately 10 mL. The first storage chamber 301 temporarily stores the collection target M to be collected in the first culture bottle 141 (see FIG. 6 ).
[0035] The second storage chamber 302 has an elliptical shape that is elongated in the vertical direction of the collection bag 20. The second storage chamber 302 is provided in the second region 20L. The volume of the second storage chamber 302 is, for example, approximately 8 mL to approximately 10 mL. The volume of the second storage chamber 302 is the same as the volume of the first storage chamber 301. The second storage chamber 302 temporarily stores the collection target M to be collected in the second culture bottle 142 (see FIG. 8 ). Note that each of the first storage chamber 301 and the second storage chamber 302 is not limited to being formed in an elliptical shape. Each of the first storage chamber 301 and the second storage chamber 302 may have a shape other than an elliptical shape. Furthermore, the volume of the first storage chamber 301 and the volume of the second storage chamber 302 may be different.
[0036] The main flow channel 32 connects the inflow tube 18 and the outflow port 38. The main flow channel 32 is located at the center of the width of the collection bag 20. The main flow channel 32 is located between the first region 20R and the second region 20L and extends in the vertical direction. The main flow channel 32 has an inflow-side flow channel 321 and an outflow-side flow channel 322. The inflow-side flow channel 321 connects the inflow tube 18 and a connecting portion 42 (described later). The upper end of the inflow-side flow channel 321 is provided at the upper end of the collection bag 20 and connected to the inflow tube 18 via a relay member 261. The outflow-side flow channel 322 connects the connecting portion 42 (described later) and the outflow port 38. The lower end of the outflow-side flow channel 322 is provided at the lower end of the collection bag 20 and connected to the outflow port 38 via a connecting member 262. The inflow-side flow channel 321 and the outflow-side flow channel 322 are linearly arranged in the vertical direction (direction of arrow V) of the collection bag 20.
[0037] The exhaust flow paths 34 are provided in the first region 20R and the second region 20L of the collection bag 20. The exhaust flow paths 34 are connected to the tops of the first storage chamber 301 and the second storage chamber 302, respectively. The upper ends of the exhaust flow paths 34 are located on the upper edge of the collection bag 20 and connected to the exhaust unit 40.
[0038] The plurality of connection flow paths 36 are provided between the first storage chamber 301 and the second storage chamber 302 and the main flow path 32. The plurality of connection flow paths 36 connect each of the first storage chamber 301 and the second storage chamber 302 to the main flow path 32. The plurality of connection flow paths 36 include a first connection flow path 361 and a second connection flow path 362. The first connection flow path 361 is provided in the first region 20R of the collection bag 20. The first connection flow path 361 extends in the width direction of the collection bag 20 and is connected to the main flow path 32. The first connection flow path 361 is connected to a lower portion of the first storage chamber 301. The first connection flow path 361 connects the main flow path 32 and the first storage chamber 301. The first connection flow path 361 is inclined upward from the main flow path 32 toward the first storage chamber 301.
[0039] The second connection flow path 362 is provided in the second region 20L of the collection bag 20. The second connection flow path 362 extends in the width direction of the collection bag 20 and is connected to the main flow path 32. The second connection flow path 362 is connected to a lower part of the second storage chamber 302. The main flow path 32 and the second storage chamber 302 communicate with each other via the second connection flow path 362. The second connection flow path 362 is inclined upward from the main flow path 32 toward the second storage chamber 302.
[0040] The collection bag 20 further includes a connection portion 42. The connection portion 42 connects the first connection flow path 361 and the second connection flow path 362 to the main flow path 32. In a plan view of the collection bag 20 in the thickness direction, the connection portion 42 is generally cross-shaped. The inlet-side flow path 321 is disposed above the connection portion 42, and the inlet-side flow path 321 is disposed so as to face upward relative to the connection portion 42. The outlet-side flow path 322 is disposed below the connection portion 42, and the outlet-side flow path 322 is disposed so as to face downward relative to the connection portion 42. The first connection flow path 361 extends from the connection portion 42 in one direction in the width direction. The second connection flow path 362 extends from the connection portion 42 in the other direction in the width direction.
[0041] The outlet port 38 is provided in the outlet-side flow path 322 of the main flow path 32. The outlet port 38 is provided to transfer the collection target M from the first storage chamber 301 and the second storage chamber 302 to the first culture bottle 141 (see FIG. 6) and the second culture bottle 142 (see FIG. 8), respectively.
[0042] The exhaust unit 40 is provided to exhaust air from the first storage chamber 301 and the second storage chamber 302. The exhaust unit 40 has a first exhaust unit 401 and a second exhaust unit 402. The first exhaust unit 401 is connected to the upper end of the exhaust flow path 34 that communicates with the first storage chamber 301 via an attachment member 44. The second exhaust unit 402 is connected to the upper end of the exhaust flow path 34 that communicates with the second storage chamber 302 via an attachment member 44. The attachment member 44 provides a liquid-tight and airtight seal between the first exhaust unit 401 and the second exhaust unit 402 and the collection bag 20.
[0043] The first exhaust section 401 and the second exhaust section 402 each have a filter 46 that allows gas to pass through but prevents liquid from passing through. When the main component of the collection target M is water, the filter 46 is preferably a hydrophilic filter. In this case, when the collection target M moves to the filter 46 through the exhaust flow path 34 and comes into contact with the filter 46, the pores of the filter 46 are blocked by the liquid. After the pores of the filter 46 are blocked, the filter 46 prevents gas and liquid from passing through. Therefore, leakage of the collection target M from the first storage chamber 301 and the second storage chamber 302 to the outside is prevented. An example of a collection target M whose main component is water is a blood product.
[0044] The adapter 22 is connected to the lower end of the outlet flow path 322 of the main flow path 32 via a connecting member 262. The adapter 22 is arranged so as to protrude downward from the lower edge of the collection bag 20. The adapter 22 has an adapter main body 48 and a communicating tube 50 provided at the upper end of the adapter main body 48. The communicating tube 50 is inserted into the inner hole of the connecting member 262, thereby connecting the adapter 22 to the main flow path 32. The connecting member 262 provides a liquid-tight and airtight seal between the communicating tube 50 and the collection bag 20.
[0045] The adapter 22 includes a needle tube 52 and a rubber cover 54 that covers the needle tube 52. The needle tube 52 is provided inside the adapter main body 48 and is connected to a communicating tube portion 50. When the neck of the culture bottle 14 is inserted into the adapter main body 48, the needle tube 52 penetrates the stopper (not shown) of the culture bottle 14 (see FIGS. 6 and 8 ). When the connecting member 262 is opened, the culture bottle 14 and the outlet-side flow path 322 of the main flow path 32 are connected to each other via the communicating tube portion 50 and the needle tube 52.
[0046] When the needle tube 52 is inserted into the stopper of the culture bottle 14, the needle tube 52 penetrates the rubber cover 54. When the needle tube 52 is removed from the stopper of the culture bottle 14, the rubber cover 54 covers the needle tube 52 again.
[0047] The holder 24 is formed as a hollow rectangular parallelepiped and holds the collection bag 20 therein. The outer edge of the collection bag 20 is surrounded by the holder 24. The holder 24 has a wall 241 that faces the collection bag 20 (see FIG. 5 ). The wall 241 is provided with a protrusion 242 that protrudes toward the collection bag 20. The protrusion 242 faces the flow path switching unit 92A, which will be described later.

[0052] The base 72 is formed from a rectangular plate-like member and holds the collection kit 12A. The shape of the base 72 is not particularly limited. As shown in Figure 3, the back surface of the base 72 is fixed to the lifting mechanism 66. The lifting mechanism 66 allows the base 72 to be displaced in the vertical direction (direction of arrow V).
[0053] As shown in FIG. 1 , the upper portion of the front surface 72a of the base portion 72 is provided with a first exhaust unit shielding portion 781, a tube support portion 80, and a second exhaust unit shielding portion 782. The first exhaust unit shielding portion 781, the tube support portion 80, and the second exhaust unit shielding portion 782 are aligned in the width direction of the base portion 72. The tube support portion 80 is located between the first exhaust unit shielding portion 781 and the second exhaust unit shielding portion 782 in the width direction of the base portion 72. The tube support portion 80 supports the inflow tube 18 of the collection kit 12A. The first exhaust unit shielding portion 781 covers the upper and side surfaces of the first exhaust unit 401. The second exhaust unit shielding portion 782 covers the upper and side surfaces of the second exhaust unit 402.
[0054] The multiple retainers 74 include a first retainer 741 and a second retainer 742. When the collection kit jig 10A is viewed from the front, the first retainer 741 is located on the right side of the base portion 72. The second retainer 742 is located on the left side of the base portion 72. An accommodation space for accommodating the holder 24 is formed between the front surface 72a of the base portion 72, the first retainer 741, and the second retainer 742. When the collection kit 12A is accommodated in the accommodation space, a portion of the holder 24 is surrounded by the front surface 72a of the base portion 72, the right inner surface of the first retainer 741, and the left inner surface of the second retainer 742.

[0057] The lid 76 is rotatable via a hinge 90. The left end of the lid 76 abuts against the second step 842 in the closed state, and the left end of the lid 76 is separated from the second step 842 in the open state (see the two-dot chain line in FIG. 1 ). When the lid 76 is in the closed state, the fastener 86 is fastened to the hook 88. The closed state of the lid 76 relative to the base 72 is maintained.
[0058] The lid 76 is preferably transparent or translucent. In this case, the user can view the collection bag 20 from the outside through the lid 76. This makes it easy to check whether the collection target M has been transferred from the first storage chamber 301 and the second storage chamber 302 of the collection kit 12A to the first culture bottle 141 and the second culture bottle 142.
[0059] The lid portion 76 includes a flow path switching unit 92A. As shown in Fig. 4, the flow path switching unit 92A selectively connects either the first connection flow path 361 or the second connection flow path 362 in the collection kit 12A to the outlet flow path 322 of the main flow path 32. The flow path switching unit 92A is provided at the center in the width direction of the lid portion 76 and faces the connection portion 42 of the collection bag 20. The flow path switching unit 92A includes a base member 94 and a switching member 96.

The guide portion 100 includes a guide groove 102 and a protrusion 104. The guide groove 102 includes a first groove portion 106A and a second groove portion 106B. The first groove portion 106A and the second groove portion 106B each have an arc shape having a radius centered on the rotation axis of the switching member 96. The first groove portion 106A and the second groove portion 106B are spaced apart from each other in the circumferential direction of the switching member 96. The length of the first groove portion 106A in the circumferential direction is longer than the length of the second groove portion 106B in the circumferential direction.
[0061] The protrusion 104 is provided at the center of the first base portion 941. As shown in Fig. 5, the protrusion 104 protrudes forward from the first base portion 941. The protrusion 104 is disposed at the radial center of the first groove portion 106A and the second groove portion 106B (see Fig. 4).
[0062] As shown in FIG. 4 , the second base portion 942 is wider than the first base portion 941 and is positioned further rearward than the first base portion 941. The second base portion 942 is positioned further rearward than the lid portion 76 (see FIG. 5 ). The second base portion 942 has a pair of retaining pins 108 protruding forward. The pair of retaining pins 108 are spaced apart in the width direction with the first base portion 941 between them. The pair of retaining pins 108 are inserted into pin holes 110 that penetrate the lid portion 76 in the thickness direction. The pair of retaining pins 108 position the base member 94 at a predetermined position relative to the lid portion 76. As shown in FIG. 5 , the base member 94 and the connection portion 42 of the collection kit 12A face each other in the thickness direction of the lid portion 76.
[0063] The switching member 96 is rotatably provided on the first base portion 941 of the base member 94. The switching member 96 has a main body portion 921, a switching portion 922, and a blocking portion 923.
[0064] The main body 921 is disk-shaped. The main body 921 has a recess 112 in the center thereof that faces the first base 941. The protrusion 104 is inserted into the recess 112. The switching member 96 is rotatably supported relative to the first base 941 by the protrusion 104 and the recess 112.
[0065] The switching portion 922 is gripped by the user when rotating the switching member 96 of the flow path switching portion 92A. The switching portion 922 protrudes in the axial direction from the main body portion 921. The switching portion 922 extends linearly in the radial direction of the main body portion 921 so as to pass through the center of the main body portion 921. Both ends of the switching portion 922 extend to the vicinity of the outer circumferential surface of the main body portion 921. For example, a mark 114 that can be recognized by the user is provided on one end of the switching portion 922.
[0066] The blocking portion 923 is provided so as to be able to selectively block either the first connection flow path 361 or the second connection flow path 362. As shown in Fig. 5 , the blocking portion 923 protrudes in the axial direction from the main body portion 921. The protruding direction of the blocking portion 923 relative to the main body portion 921 is opposite to the protruding direction of the switching portion 922 relative to the main body portion 921.
[0067] As shown in FIG. 4 , the blocking portion 923 includes a first blocking piece 118A, a second blocking piece 118B, and a third blocking piece 118C. Each of the first blocking piece 118A, the second blocking piece 118B, and the third blocking piece 118C protrudes axially from the main body 921. Each of the first blocking piece 118A, the second blocking piece 118B, and the third blocking piece 118C has an arc shape with a radius centered on the axis of the main body 921. The first blocking piece 118A, the second blocking piece 118B, and the third blocking piece 118C are spaced apart from each other in the circumferential direction of the switching member 96. The distance between the first blocking piece 118A and the second blocking piece 118B is greater than the width of the inlet-side flow path 321 in a direction intersecting the extension direction. The lengths of the first blocking piece 118A and the second blocking piece 118B in the circumferential direction are substantially the same.
[0068] The length of the first blocking piece 118A along the first groove portion 106A is greater than the width in a direction intersecting the extension direction of the first connection flow path 361. The length of the second blocking piece 118B along the first groove portion 106A is greater than the width in a direction intersecting the extension direction of the second connection flow path 362. The length of the third blocking piece 118C in the circumferential direction is shorter than the lengths of the first blocking piece 118A and the second blocking piece 118B. Note that the length of the third blocking piece 118C may be the same as the lengths of the first blocking piece 118A and the second blocking piece 118B.
[0069] In a plan view of the switching member 96, the other end of the switching portion 922 is disposed between the first blocking piece 118A and the second blocking piece 118B. The third blocking piece 118C and one end of the switching portion 922 are disposed at the same position. The first blocking piece 118A and the second blocking piece 118B are inserted into the first groove portion 106A. The third blocking piece 118C is inserted into the second groove portion 106B. In the circumferential direction of the switching member 96, the length of the first groove portion 106A is longer than the combined length of the first blocking piece 118A and the second blocking piece 118B. The length of the second groove portion 106B is longer than the length of the third blocking piece 118C.
[0070] When the switching member 96 rotates relative to the base member 94, the first blocking piece 118A and the second blocking piece 118B can move along the first groove portion 106A, and the third blocking piece 118C can move along the second groove portion 106B. The tips of the first blocking piece 118A, the second blocking piece 118B, and the third blocking piece 118C face the connecting portion 42 of the collection kit 12A.
[0071] By selecting the rotational position of the switching member 96, one of the first connection flow path 361 and the second connection flow path 362 can be blocked by the blocking portion 923. Specifically, in a plan view of the switching member 96, as shown in Fig. 6 , when the switching member 96 is rotated in a first direction from the initial position, the flow path switching portion 92A is set to a first position, and as shown in Fig. 7 , the first blocking piece 118A faces the inlet-side flow path 321 of the main flow path 32, and the second blocking piece 118B faces the second connection flow path 362.
[0072] In a planar view of the switching member 96, as shown in Figure 8, when the switching member 96 is rotated from the initial position in a second direction that is opposite to the first direction, the flow path switching unit 92A reaches its second position, and as shown in Figure 9, the second blocking piece 118B faces the inlet side flow path 321 of the main flow path 32, and the first blocking piece 118A faces the first connecting flow path 361.
[0073] The configuration is not limited to including the flow path switching unit 92A in the lid 76 of the kit holding unit 62. For example, the flow path switching unit 92A may not be provided, and the communication of the connection flow path 36 of the collection kit 12A may be blocked by a blocking member such as a clamp.
[0074] As shown in Fig. 1 , the bottle holding member 64 is disposed below the kit holding portion 62 and is attached to a base 70. The bottle holding member 64 is rotatably held by the base 70. As shown in Fig. 10 , the bottle holding member 64 has a plurality of bottle support portions 120. The plurality of bottle support portions 120 are provided so as to be able to hold a plurality of culture bottles 14, respectively.
[0075] The multiple bottle holders 120 are spaced apart from one another in the circumferential direction around the central axis CL (hereinafter also referred to as the rotation axis CL) of the bottle holding member 64. As shown in FIG. 3 , the central axis CL of the bottle holding member 64 extends in a direction (vertical direction) along the relative movement direction between the bottle holding member 64 and the kit holder 62. Below, a case will be described in which the bottle holding member 64 includes four bottle holders 120. Note that the number of bottle holders 120 is not limited to four. For example, the number of bottle holders 120 may be two, five or more.
[0076] As shown in FIG. 1, the bottle holding member 64 includes a disk-shaped support base 122 and a support wall portion 124 extending from the support base 122 .
[0077] As shown in Figure 3, the support base 122 constitutes the lower part of the bottle holding member 64. The upper surface of the support base 122 has four storage sections 126 that accommodate the bottoms of the culture bottles 14 (see Figure 1). Each of the four storage sections 126 is formed in a circular shape and recessed downward from the upper surface of the support base 122. The shape of the storage sections 126 is formed so that they can accommodate the bottoms of the culture bottles 14.
[0078] A rotating shaft 128 is provided on the underside of the support base 122. The rotating shaft 128 protrudes in the axial direction from the underside of the support base 122. The rotating shaft 128 is provided at the center of the support base 122 (see FIG. 3 ). The rotating shaft 128 is inserted into a shaft hole 703 in the base main body 701. The bottle holding member 64 is rotatably supported on the base 70 by the rotating shaft 128. The rotating shaft 128 serves as the center of rotation of the bottle holding member 64. When the rotating shaft 128 is inserted into the shaft hole 703 in the base main body 701, the tip of the rotating shaft 128 protrudes downward from the underside of the base main body 701.
[0079] As shown in Fig. 1, the support wall portion 124 protrudes upward from the upper surface of the support base 122. As shown in Fig. 10, the support wall portion 124 is provided at the radial center of the support base 122. The support wall portion 124 has a plurality of curved portions 130. In a plan view seen from the axial direction of the bottle holding member 64, each of the plurality of curved portions 130 is formed in an arc shape that follows a portion of the circumferential surface of the storage portion 126. The cross-sectional shape of the curved portions 130 is formed so that they can hold a portion of the outer circumferential surface of the culture bottle 14.
[0080] Each storage section 126 and each curved section 130 of the support wall section 124 constitute one bottle support section 120. As shown in FIG. 1 , in the bottle support section 120, the bottom of the culture bottle 14 is stored and held in the storage section 126, and a portion of the outer circumferential surface of the culture bottle 14 is held by the curved section 130. As shown in FIG. 3 , the height of the support wall section 124 (curved section 130) relative to the upper surface of the support base 122 is approximately half the height of the culture bottle 14. Note that the height of the support wall section 124 (curved section 130) is not limited to approximately half the height of the culture bottle 14. For example, the height of the support wall section 124 (curved section 130) may be equal to or greater than half the height of the culture bottle 14, or may be less than half the height of the culture bottle 14.
[0081] Furthermore, the bottle holding member 64 is detachably provided to the base 70. The bottle holding member 64 can be removed from the base 70 by removing the rotating shaft 128 upward from the shaft hole 703 of the base 70.
[0082] 1 , the lifting mechanism 66 moves the kit holding part 62 up and down relative to the bottle holding member 64. The lifting mechanism 66 includes a pair of support columns 132 extending upward from the base 60, a displacement part 134 supported by the support columns 132 so as to be able to move up and down, and an operation part 136 attached to the support columns 132. The pair of support columns 132 are disposed toward the rear of the base 60 and extend upward from the base 60. The pair of support columns 132 are arranged side by side and spaced apart from each other in the width direction.
[0083] As shown in FIG. 3 , the displacement unit 134 includes a first displacement member 1341 , a second displacement member 1342 , and a guide mechanism 1343 .
[0084] The first displacement member 1341 is formed in a plate shape and extends in the width direction. As shown in FIG. 3 , a support bracket 138 and a nut 140 are fixed to the upper surface of the first displacement member 1341. The support bracket 138 is formed in an L-shape and connects the rear surface of the base portion 72 of the kit holding portion 62 to the upper surface of the first displacement member 1341. The rear end of the first displacement member 1341 has an extension portion 143 that protrudes rearward. As shown in FIG. 1 , the extension portion 143 is provided at the center of the first displacement member 1341 in the width direction. A nut 140 is fixed to the upper surface of the extension portion 143. As shown in FIG. 3 , the second displacement member 1342 is fixed to the lower surface of the extension portion 143 of the first displacement member 1341. The second displacement member 1342 is formed in an L-shape and extends downward from the first displacement member 1341.
[0085] The guide mechanism 1343 guides the first displacement member 1341 in the up and down direction. The guide mechanism 1343 includes two guide rods 144 that are provided on the base 60 (see FIG. 10 ). The two guide rods 144 protrude upward from the base 60 and are arranged parallel to each other. The two guide rods 144 are inserted into two holes (not shown) that are provided at both ends of the first displacement member 1341. The two guide rods 144 guide the first displacement member 1341 in the up and down direction.
[0086] The operating unit 136 is provided on the front surface of the support column 132 via a lever mounting plate 145. The operating unit 136 has a support shaft 146, an operating lever 148, two arm members 150, and a connecting rod 152.
[0087] A guide bracket 154 is provided on the front surface of the lever mounting plate 145. A support shaft 146 is inserted into the base end of the operating lever 148 via a through hole. The support shaft 146 is supported by the guide bracket 154. The operating lever 148 is supported so as to be rotatable around the support shaft 146.
[0088] The operating lever 148 has a V-shaped bent portion near the base end, and the upper ends of two arm members 150 are supported at the bent portion. The lower ends of the two arm members 150 are supported at the upper part of a connecting rod 152. The lower end of the connecting rod 152 has a male thread portion that is screwed into the nut 140 of the first displacement member 1341. The operating lever 148 and the first displacement member 1341 of the displacement unit 134 are connected via the connecting rod 152.
[0089] By operating the operating unit 136, the lifting mechanism 66 can perform an approaching operation that brings the kit holder 62 and the bottle holding members 64 closer to each other, and a separating operation that moves the kit holder 62 and the bottle holding members 64 apart. The approaching operation is performed by rotating the operating lever 148 so that the tip of the operating lever 148 faces downward (in the direction of arrow A in FIG. 3 ), which moves the kit holder 62 and the bottle holding members 64 relatively toward each other. The separating operation is performed by rotating the operating lever 148 so that the tip of the operating lever 148 faces upward (in the direction of arrow B in FIG. 3 ), which moves the kit holder 62 and the bottle holding members 64 relatively away from each other.
[0090] The rotation mechanism 68 rotates the bottle holding member 64 in conjunction with the approaching or separating operation of the lifting mechanism 66. As shown in Figure 3, the rotation mechanism 68 includes a drive unit 158 provided in the lifting mechanism 66, a driven unit 160 that operates in conjunction with the driving of the drive unit 158, and a transmission unit 162 that transmits the operation of the drive unit 158 to the driven unit 160 to link them.
[0091] The drive unit 158 includes a rack member 164 provided on the second displacement member 1342 of the lifting mechanism 66. The rack member 164 is provided on the second displacement member 1342 and extends in the up-down direction (the direction of arrow V) along the second displacement member 1342.
[0092] The driven part 160 includes a rotary gear 166 provided at the bottom of the bottle holding member 64. The center of the rotary gear 166 is connected to the rotary shaft 128 of the bottle holding member 64. The rotary gear 166 is disposed below the base main body 701. The rotary gear 166 and the bottle holding member 64 are rotatably supported by the base main body 701. The rotary gear 166 and the bottle holding member 64 rotate together.
[0093] As shown in FIG. 10, the transmission unit 162 includes a support member 168, a pinion gear 170, a first gear member G1, a second gear member G2, a drive pulley P1, a third gear member G3, a driven pulley P2, and a belt member 172.
[0094] The support member 168 is fixed to the base 60. The support member 168 is disposed below the first displacement member 1341 of the lifting mechanism 66. The pinion gear 170 and the first gear member G1 are coaxially connected via a first shaft S1. The pinion gear 170 meshes with the rack member 164. The first shaft S1 is disposed along the width direction of the collection kit jig 10A and is rotatably supported on the side wall of the support member 168. The first gear member G1 is, for example, a bevel gear. As the lifting mechanism 66 moves up and down, the first gear member G1 rotates around the first shaft S1 together with the pinion gear 170 meshed with the rack member 164.
[0095] The second gear member G2 meshes with the first gear member G1. The second gear member G2 is, for example, a bevel gear. The second gear member G2 is connected to a one-way clutch mechanism 176 (described later) via a second shaft S2. The second gear member G2 and the drive pulley P1 are connected to each other via the one-way clutch mechanism 176. The second shaft S2 extends in the vertical direction and is rotatably supported by the support member 168. The second gear member G2 is disposed above a bottom wall 169 of the support member 168, and the drive pulley P1 is disposed below the bottom wall 169. The drive pulley P1 has teeth on its outer circumferential surface. When the first gear member G1 rotates, the second gear member G2 and the drive pulley P1 rotate.
[0096] As shown in FIG. 3, the third gear member G3 is disposed below the base main body 701. The third gear member G3 is rotatably supported by the base main body 701. As shown in FIG. 10, the outer peripheral surface of the third gear member G3 has gear teeth 174 that mesh with the rotary gear 166. The gear teeth 174 are provided on a portion of the third gear member G3 in the circumferential direction. The third gear member G3 and the driven pulley P2 are disposed coaxially by the third shaft S3. The third shaft S3 extends in the vertical direction (see FIG. 3). The driven pulley P2 is disposed below the third gear member G3. The driven pulley P2 has a toothed portion on its outer periphery. The third gear member G3 and the driven pulley P2 rotate integrally.
[0097] As shown in Fig. 10, the belt member 172 is stretched between a drive pulley P1 and a driven pulley P2. As the second gear member G2 and the drive pulley P1 rotate, a driving force is transmitted to the driven pulley P2 by the belt member 172. As the driven pulley P2 and the third gear member G3 rotate, the bottle holding member 64 rotates together with the rotary gear 166. In a plan view of the collection kit jig 10A, the bottle holding member 64 rotates clockwise (in the direction of arrow C).
[0098] The rotation mechanism 68 further includes a one-way clutch mechanism 176. The one-way clutch mechanism 176 is provided on the support member 168. The one-way clutch mechanism 176 is provided between the second shaft S2 and the drive pulley P1. The one-way clutch mechanism 176 switches the state of transmission of the rotational drive force from the second shaft S2 to the drive pulley P1.
[0099] The one-way clutch mechanism 176 includes a clutch body 178, multiple clutch pieces 180, and a transmission plate 183. The clutch body 178 is a circular member with irregularities (multiple teeth) on its outer circumferential surface. The clutch body 178 is connected to the second shaft S2. The clutch body 178 rotates together with the second shaft S2. The multiple clutch pieces 180 are provided on the bottom wall 169 of the support member 168 and engage with the irregularities on the clutch body 178. The multiple clutch pieces 180 are each disposed radially outward from the clutch body 178. The tip of each clutch piece 180 engages with the irregularities on the outer circumferential surface of the clutch body 178. Each clutch piece 180 is rotatably mounted on the upper surface of the transmission plate 183 via a pin member 186. The transmission plate 183 is disposed below the clutch body 178. The transmission plate 183 has a pulley shaft 184 that protrudes downward, and the drive pulley P1 is connected to the pulley shaft 184.
[0100] The collection kit 12A and collection kit jig 10A configured as described above are used as follows: In this embodiment, a collection method will be described in which the collection target M is separated into two culture bottles, a first culture bottle 141 and a second culture bottle 142, using the collection kit 12A.
[0101] 2, a connection step is performed to connect the medical bag 16 to the inflow tube 18. The user connects the medical bag 16 containing the collection object M, such as a platelet preparation, to the inflow tube 18. At this time, the medical bag 16 is positioned above the collection bag 20. The user joins a supply tube (not shown) of the medical bag 16 to the inflow tube 18.
[0102] Next, an introduction step is performed to introduce the collection target M into the collection bag 20. In this introduction step, the collection target M, which has moved from the medical bag 16 into the interior of the collection bag 20 through the inflow tube 18 and the inflow-side flow path 321, is introduced into the first storage chamber 301 and the second storage chamber 302 through the first connecting flow path 361 and the second connecting flow path 362, respectively. Before transferring the collection target M to the first storage chamber 301, the user sets the switching member 96 of the flow path switching unit 92A to its initial position, as shown in FIG. 4 . In the initial position of the flow path switching unit 92A, the first blocking piece 118A of the switching member 96 is positioned between the inflow-side flow path 321 of the main flow path 32 and the first connecting flow path 361, and the second blocking piece 118B is positioned between the inflow-side flow path 321 and the second connecting flow path 362. The third blocking piece 118C is positioned facing the outflow-side flow path 322 of the main flow path 32. In the initial position, the inlet-side flow path 321 of the main flow path 32 communicates with the first connecting flow path 361 via the connecting portion 42, and the inlet-side flow path 321 communicates with the second connecting flow path 362 via the connecting portion 42. As shown in Fig. 5 , the third blocking piece 118C blocks communication between the inlet-side flow path 321 and the outlet-side flow path 322.
[0103] The collection target M is, for example, a liquid and is flowable. Therefore, the collection target M flows out of the medical bag 16 by gravity and flows into the inlet-side flow path 321 of the main flow path 32 via a supply tube and an inlet tube 18 (not shown). The collection target M moves downward from the inlet tube 18 along the inlet-side flow path 321 by gravity. The collection target M is diverted into the first connection flow path 361 and the second connection flow path 362 at the connection part 42 and flows into the first storage chamber 301 and the second storage chamber 302 via the first connection flow path 361 and the second connection flow path 362.
[0104] When the collection target M flows into the first storage chamber 301, the air remaining in the first storage chamber 301 is discharged from the exhaust flow path 34 to the atmosphere through the first exhaust part 401. When the collection target M flows into the second storage chamber 302, the air remaining in the second storage chamber 302 is discharged from the exhaust flow path 34 to the atmosphere through the second exhaust part 402.
[0105] After the first storage chamber 301 and the second storage chamber 302 are filled with the collection target M, the collection target M flows into the filter 46 of the first exhaust section 401 and the second exhaust section 402 via the exhaust flow path 34. When the collection target M comes into contact with the filter 46, the collection target M is captured and held in the pores of the filter 46. This causes the filter 46 to block the collection target M within the first exhaust section 401 and the second exhaust section 402. As a result, the first exhaust section 401 and the second exhaust section 402 are closed, preventing the collection target M from passing through the filter 46 and being discharged to the outside. A required amount (e.g., approximately 8 mL to approximately 10 mL) of collection target M is stored in each of the first storage chamber 301 and the second storage chamber 302. The supply of collection target M from the medical bag 16 to the collection bag 20 stops.
[0106] Next, a separation step is performed to separate the medical bag 16 from the inflow tube 18. At the same time as the inflow tube 18 is separated from the supply tube of the medical bag 16, the upstream end 181 of the inflow tube 18 is sealed by welding. A tube sealer such as a high-frequency sealer or an ultrasonic sealer is used to seal the inflow tube 18. The medical bag 16 separated from the collection kit 12A is stored until the test is completed.
[0107] The sampling kit 12A filled with the sampling target M is carried into a clean bench. The sampling kit jig 10A shown in Fig. 1 is installed on the clean bench. In the clean bench, the user attaches the sampling kit 12A to the sampling kit jig 10A.
[0108] Specifically, the lid 76 is opened (see the two-dot chain line in FIG. 1 ) using the hinge 90 as a fulcrum, and the collection kit 12A is accommodated in the accommodation space together with the holder 24. This positions the collection kit 12A in a predetermined position in the kit holding portion 62 and holds it there by the holder 24. The collection kit 12A is held in the kit holding portion 62 with the inflow tube 18 facing upward and the bottle connection portion 22 facing downward.
[0109] Next, as shown in FIG. 1 , the lid portion 76 is rotated toward the first retainer 741 around the hinge 90 to close the lid portion 76, and the fastener 86 is fastened to the hook 88. This maintains the lid portion 76 in a closed state relative to the base portion 72. By closing the lid portion 76 relative to the base member 94, the collection kit 12A is surrounded by the base portion 72 and the lid portion 76 via the holder 24. The flow path switching portion 92A provided on the lid portion 76 faces the connection portion 42 of the collection kit 12A. At this time, as shown in FIG. 5 , the third blocking piece 118C of the flow path switching portion 92A faces the outlet-side flow path 322 of the collection kit 12A, pushing the outlet-side flow path 322 toward the holder 24. This causes the third blocking piece 118C to block communication between the inlet-side flow path 321 and the outlet-side flow path 322. The switching member 96 of the flow path switching unit 92A protrudes forward beyond the lid portion 76 through a hole 98 in the lid portion 76 .
[0110] As shown in Fig. 1, two culture bottles 14 are placed on the bottle support portion 120 of the bottle holding member 64. As shown in Fig. 3, one of the culture bottles 14, a first culture bottle 141, is placed below the adapter 22 of the collection kit 12A. The remaining culture bottle 14, a second culture bottle 142, is placed in the opposite direction to the rotation direction (direction of arrow C) of the bottle holding member 64 relative to the first culture bottle 141 in a plan view of the collection kit jig 10A (see Fig. 10).
[0111] Next, the first culture bottle 141 is connected to the collection kit 12A, and a first collection step is performed to transfer the collection target M from the first storage chamber 301 to the first culture bottle 141. The first culture bottle 141 is positioned below the collection kit 12A and vertically faces the adapter 22 of the collection kit 12A. The user grasps the switching member 96 and rotates the switching member 96 from the initial position to the first position (see FIG. 6 ). As shown in FIG. 7 , when the switching member 96 is in the first position, the first blocking piece 118A faces the inlet-side flow path 321, and the second blocking piece 118B faces the second connection flow path 362. The third blocking piece 118C is positioned between the first connection flow path 361 and the outlet-side flow path 322. As a result, in the first position, the first connection flow path 361 and the outlet-side flow path 322 of the main flow path 32 are in communication with each other via the connection portion 42.
[0112] The inlet-side flow path 321 is sandwiched between the first blocking piece 118A and the protruding portion 242 (see FIG. 5), and the inlet-side flow path 321 is crushed by the first blocking piece 118A. The second connecting flow path 362 is sandwiched between the second blocking piece 118B and the protruding portion 242 (see FIG. 5), and the second connecting flow path 362 is crushed by the second blocking piece 118B. This blocks communication between the second connecting flow path 362 and the inlet-side flow path 321 and the connecting portion 42.
[0113] Next, in order to connect the bottle connection part 22 of the collection kit 12A to the first culture bottle 141, an approaching operation is performed by using the lifting mechanism 66 to move the kit holding part 62 and the bottle holding member 64 relative to each other in a direction that brings them closer to each other.
[0114] 1 , a user grasps one end of the operating lever 148 and rotates the operating lever 148 so that the one end of the operating lever 148 descends in the direction of arrow A. As the operating lever 148 rotates, the connecting rod 152 descends, and the first displacement member 1341 and the second displacement member 1342 descend as well. At this time, the guide mechanism 1343 guides the downward movement of the first displacement member 1341. The kit holding part 62 descends together with the first displacement member 1341 toward the first culture bottle 141 of the bottle holding member 64.
[0115] 6, the collection kit 12A is lowered, and the neck of the first culture bottle 141 is inserted into the adapter 22. The needle tube 52 provided inside the adapter body 48 pierces the stopper of the first culture bottle 141.
[0116] The user bends the plug (not shown) of the connecting member 262 to break the plug and open the outlet flow path 322 of the main flow path 32. The collection target M in the first storage chamber 301 is sucked out by the negative pressure in the first culture bottle 141, passes through the first connecting flow path 361, the outlet flow path 322, the outlet port 38, the connecting member 262, the communicating tube portion 50 of the adapter 22, and the needle tube 52, and flows into the first culture bottle 141.
[0117] At this time, as shown in FIG. 7 , the communication between the second connection flow path 362 and the outlet flow path 322 is blocked by the second blockage piece 118B of the flow path switching unit 92A, so the collection target M in the second storage chamber 302 is not sucked out through the outlet flow path 322. As a result, substantially the entire amount of the collection target M stored in the first storage chamber 301 is transferred to the first culture bottle 141. The amount of the collection target M in the first culture bottle 141 is, for example, approximately 8 mL to approximately 10 mL. Note that the connecting member 262 is not limited to having a plug. For example, the connecting member 262 may not have a plug, and the needle tube 52 may be covered with a rubber tube.
[0118] When the operating lever 148 is operated, the rack member 164 descends together with the second displacement member 1342. As shown in FIG. 10 , the pinion gear 170 and first gear member G1 rotate, and the second gear member G2 and clutch body 178 rotate in the R1 direction. At this time, the one-way clutch mechanism 176 prevents the rotational driving force of the second shaft S2 from being transmitted to the pulley shaft 184. Specifically, when the clutch body 178 rotates, the tips (claws) of the multiple clutch pieces 180 move away from the clutch body 178, causing the claws to overcome the convex portions of the uneven surface. As a result, the rotation of the clutch body 178 is not transmitted to the transmission plate 183, and the transmission plate 183 does not rotate. As a result, the driving force of the drive unit 158 is not transmitted to the driven unit 160, preventing the rotation of the rotary gear 166 and the bottle holding member 64.
[0119] After transferring almost the entire amount of the collection target M in the first storage chamber 301 into the interior of the first culture bottle 141, a separation operation is performed using the lifting mechanism 66 to move the kit holding portion 62 and the bottle holding member 64 relative to each other in a direction separating them from each other in order to disconnect the bottle connection portion 22 of the collection kit 12A from the first culture bottle 141.
[0120] 12 , one end of the operating lever 148 is grasped and rotated so that one end of the operating lever 148 rises in the direction of arrow B. As the operating lever 148 rotates, the connecting rod 152, the first displacement member 1341, and the second displacement member 1342 rise together. Together with the first displacement member 1341, the kit holder 62 rises so as to separate from the first culture bottle 141 of the bottle holder member 64. As the adapter 22 moves away from the first culture bottle 141, the needle tube 52 detaches from the stopper of the first culture bottle 141, and the connection between the collection kit 12A and the first culture bottle 141 is released. The adapter 22 is removed from the first culture bottle 141.
[0121] As the rack member 164 rises, the first gear member G1 and the second gear member G2 of the rotation mechanism 68 rotate. As the second shaft S2 rotates, the clutch body 178 of the one-way clutch mechanism 176 rotates in the R2 direction in FIG. 10. As the clutch body 178 rotates in the R2 direction, the tips of the multiple clutch pieces 180 mesh with the concave and convex portions of the clutch body 178. As a result, the clutch body 178, the transmission plate 183, and the drive pulley P1 rotate integrally in the R2 direction.
[0122] As the second gear member G2 and the drive pulley P1 rotate, the rotation of the drive pulley P1 is transmitted to the driven pulley P2 via the belt member 172, causing the third gear member G3 to rotate. When the third gear member G3 begins to rotate, the gear teeth 174 of the third gear member G3 do not mesh with the rotary gear 166. Therefore, before the collection kit 12A and the first culture bottle 141 are disconnected, the bottle holding member 64 does not rotate. After the collection kit 12A and the first culture bottle 141 are disconnected, the gear teeth 174 mesh with the rotary gear 166 as the third gear member G3 continues to rotate. As a result, the bottle holding member 64 begins to rotate together with the rotary gear 166.
[0123] When the bottle holding member 64 rotates a predetermined angle (e.g., 90°) in the direction of arrow C, the gear teeth 174 of the third gear member G3 disengage from the rotating gear 166, and the bottle holding member 64 stops rotating. As the operating lever 148 is operated, the rack member 164 further rises, causing the third gear member G3 to continue rotating via the transmission unit 162. As shown in FIG. 1 , when one end of the operating lever 148 moves all the way up and the lifting mechanism 66 completes its separation operation, the rotation of the first gear member G1, the second gear member G2, and the third gear member G3 each stops, and the third gear member G3 returns to its original position (see FIG. 10 ). When the rotation of the rotation mechanism 68 is complete, the second culture bottle 142 of the bottle holding member 64 stops facing the bottle connection portion 22 of the collection kit 12A.
[0124] Next, the second culture bottle 142 is connected to the collection kit 12A, and a second collection step is performed in which the collection target M is transferred from the second storage chamber 302 to the second culture bottle 142. At this time, the second culture bottle 142 is positioned below the collection kit 12A due to the moving-away operation of the lifting mechanism 66 accompanying the transfer of the first culture bottle 141.
[0125] As shown in FIG. 8 , the switching member 96 of the flow path switching unit 92A is rotated to the second position. The second position is achieved by rotating the switching member 96 in the opposite direction to when switching from the initial position to the first position. As shown in FIG. 9 , when the flow path switching unit 92A is in the second position, the first blocking piece 118A faces the first connection flow path 361, and the second blocking piece 118B faces the inlet flow path 321. The third blocking piece 118C is disposed between the second connection flow path 362 and the outlet flow path 322. By placing the switching member 96 in the second position, the first blocking piece 118A presses the first connection flow path 361 against the protrusion 242 of the holder 24 (see FIG. 5 ) to block the first connection flow path 361. The second blocking piece 118B presses the inlet flow path 321 against the protrusion 242 of the holder 24 (see FIG. 5 ) to block the first connection flow path 361. On the other hand, the second connection flow path 362 is opened, and the second connection flow path 362 communicates with the outlet side flow path 322 of the main flow path 32 through the connection part 42 .
[0126] 1, one end of the operating lever 148 is grasped and rotated so that the one end of the operating lever 148 moves down in the direction of arrow A. Note that the approaching operation of the lifting mechanism 66 is the same as in the first collection step, and therefore a detailed description thereof will be omitted.
[0127] The approaching operation of the lifting mechanism 66 causes the kit holder 62 to descend toward the second culture bottle 142 of the bottle holder 64. As shown in FIG. 8 , the collection kit 12A descends, and the neck of the second culture bottle 142 is inserted into the adapter 22. The needle 52 provided inside the adapter body 48 pierces the stopper of the second culture bottle 142. By opening the outlet-side flow path 322 of the main flow path 32, the collection object M in the second storage chamber 302 is sucked out by the negative pressure inside the second culture bottle 142 and flows into the second culture bottle 142. As a result, substantially the entire amount of the collection object M stored in the second storage chamber 302 is transferred to the second culture bottle 142. The amount of the collection object M in the second culture bottle 142 is, for example, approximately 8 mL to approximately 10 mL.
[0128] 10, the first gear member G1 and the second gear member G2 rotate as the lifting mechanism 66 approaches, but the rotational driving force is not transmitted to the third gear member G3 by the one-way clutch mechanism 176. Therefore, the bottle holding member 64 is not rotated by the rotation mechanism 68, and the second culture bottle 142 of the bottle holding member 64 does not move from the position facing the collection kit 12A.
[0129] After transferring substantially the entire amount of the collection target M in the second storage chamber 302 into the second culture bottle 142, in order to release the connection between the bottle connection part 22 of the collection kit 12A and the second culture bottle 142, a separation operation is performed by the lifting mechanism 66 to relatively move the kit holder 62 and the bottle holding member 64 in directions separating them from each other. Note that the separation operation of the lifting mechanism 66 is the same as in the first collection step, so a detailed description will be omitted. The adapter 22 is removed from the second culture bottle 142.
[0130] After the adapter 22 moves away from the second culture bottle 142 and the collection kit 12A is disconnected from the second culture bottle 142, the gear teeth 174 of the third gear member G3 mesh with the rotating gear 166. After the collection kit 12A is disconnected from the second culture bottle 142, the rotation mechanism 68 rotates the bottle holding member 64 in conjunction with the separating operation of the lifting mechanism 66. Note that the rotation direction of the first gear member G1 and the second gear member G2 during the approaching operation of the lifting mechanism 66 is opposite to the rotation direction of the first gear member G1 and the second gear member G2 during the separating operation of the lifting mechanism 66.
[0131] As the lifting mechanism 66 moves away, the bottle holding member 64 rotates together with the rotary gear 166 in the direction C. When the lifting mechanism 66 completes its moving away operation, the rotation mechanism 68 also completes its rotation operation.
[0132] This completes the collection (sampling) of the collection target M using the collection kit 12A. That is, the first sample MS1 is introduced into the first culture bottle 141, and the second sample MS2 is introduced into the second culture bottle 142.
[0133] If the collection target M is a blood product, a culture test is performed on the first sample MS1 (see FIG. 6 ) and the second sample MS2 (see FIG. 8 ). Specifically, the first sample MS1 in the first culture bottle 141 is used, for example, for anaerobic culture to observe whether anaerobic bacteria grow. The second sample MS2 in the second culture bottle 142 is used, for example, for aerobic culture to observe whether aerobic bacteria grow. In both tests, the first culture bottle 141 and the second culture bottle 142 are used as the culture bottles 14. If the first sample MS1 and the second sample MS2 pass the culture test, the collection target M in the medical bag 16 from which the first sample MS1 and the second sample MS2 were collected is determined to be an acceptable product. The acceptable product is used for patient treatment (such as blood transfusion).
[0134] The collection kit jig 10A is not limited to a configuration including the flow path switching unit 92A. For example, a closure member (not shown) such as a clamp may be provided in each of the first connection flow path 361 and the second connection flow path 362, and either one of the first connection flow path 361 or the second connection flow path 362 may be selectively connected to the outlet flow path 322 of the main flow path 32 by appropriately opening and closing the two closure members.
[0135] The transfer of the collection target object M is not limited to the case where the transfer is performed in the order of a first collection step of transferring the collection target object M to the first culture bottle 141 and a second collection step of transferring the collection target object M to the second culture bottle 142. For example, the first collection step may be performed after the second collection step.
[0136] The first embodiment has the following advantages.
[0137] 1 , the collection kit jig 10A includes a kit holding part 62 that holds the collection kit 12A, bottle holding members 64 that can hold each of the culture bottles 14, and an elevation mechanism 66 that moves the kit holding part 62 up and down relative to the bottle holding member 64. A rotation mechanism 68 can rotate the bottle holding member 64, and the rotation mechanism 68 rotates the bottle holding member 64 in conjunction with the approaching or separating operation of the elevation mechanism 66.
[0138] According to this configuration, by rotating the bottle holding member 64 in accordance with the operation of the lifting mechanism 66, the collection target M can be efficiently transferred to multiple culture bottles 14.
[0139] As shown in FIG. 10, during the separation operation of the lifting mechanism 66, after the collection kit 12A and the culture bottle 14 are disconnected, the rotation mechanism 68 rotates the bottle holding member 64.
[0140] With this configuration, the bottle holding member 64 can be rotated while the connection between the collection kit 12A and the culture bottle 14 is disconnected, and the next culture bottle 14 on the bottle holding member 64 can be aligned to face the bottle connection portion 22 of the collection kit 12A.
[0141] As shown in FIG. 2, the collection kit 12A includes a collection bag 20 having an inflow tube 18 to which the medical bag 16 is connected, a plurality of storage chambers 30 connected downstream of the inflow tube 18 to store the collection target M, and a single outflow port 38 connected to the plurality of storage chambers 30 to transfer the collection target M to the culture bottle 14.
[0142] According to this configuration, the collection objects M stored in the multiple storage chambers 30 can be efficiently transferred to each of the multiple culture bottles 14.
[0143] 1 , the kit holding unit 62 includes a base 72 that holds the collection kit 12A, and a lid 76 that is openably and closably attached to the base 72. By closing the lid 76 on the base 72, the collection kit 12A is covered by the base 72 and the lid 76.
[0144] According to this configuration, the collection kit 12A can be effectively held in the kit holding portion 62 by closing the lid portion 76.
[0145] The lid portion 76 includes a flow path switching portion 92A that selectively connects one of the plurality of connection flow paths 36 (first connection flow path 361, second connection flow path 362) in the collection bag 20 to the outlet side flow path 322.
[0146] According to this configuration, by providing the flow path switching unit 92A on the lid unit 76, the user can easily operate the flow path switching unit 92A.
[0147] The collection kit jig 10A includes a base 70 that is disposed below the kit holder 62 and that holds a bottle holder 64 , and the bottle holder 64 is detachably attached to the base 70 .
[0148] According to this configuration, the culture bottle 14 can be moved (rotated) together with the bottle holding member 64, and the efficiency of the work of transferring the collection target object M can be improved.
[0149] The collection kit jig 10B according to the second embodiment shown in Fig. 13 includes a kit holding portion 62B that holds a collection kit 12B. Fig. 13 is an enlarged perspective view illustrating the periphery of the kit holding portion 62B in the collection kit jig 10B. The lid portion 76B of the kit holding portion 62B includes a notch 200 cut out in the thickness direction of the collection bag 20B. As shown in Fig. 14, the notch 200 is formed in a substantially rectangular shape and is located below the center of the width direction of the lid portion 76B.
[0150] 15 , the collection kit 12B includes a flow path switching unit 92B. The flow path switching unit 92B selectively connects either the first connection flow path 361 or the second connection flow path 362 in the collection bag 20B to the outlet flow path 322 of the main flow path 32.
[0151] As shown in FIG. 16 , the flow path switching unit 92B includes a housing 202, a cover member 204, and a switching member 96B. The housing 202 rotatably holds the switching member 96B. The housing 202 has side walls 206 arranged on all four sides and a bottom wall 208. The bottom wall 208 is surrounded by the other ends of the side walls 206. The bottom wall 208 has a protrusion 212. The protrusion 212 protrudes in an annular shape from the bottom wall 208. The cover member 204 is attached to the side wall 206 of the housing 202 and closes the opening. The connection portion 42 of the collection bag 20B is housed between the cover member 204 and the housing 202. The cover member 204 includes a cover portion 214 and a support shaft 216. The support shaft 216 is located in the center of the cover portion 214 and protrudes from the cover portion 214.
[0152] The switching member 96B is rotatably supported via a support shaft 216, and is also supported axially movably via the support shaft 216. As shown in Fig. 16 , in the open position where the blocking portion 923 of the switching member 96B is separated from the protruding portion 212 of the housing 202, the first connection flow path 361, the second connection flow path 362, and the main flow path 32 are separated from the blocking portion 923 and are in an open, communicating state.
[0153] 17 , when the flow path switching unit 92B is in a first position, the user can push the switching member 96B toward the protrusion 212 in the thickness direction of the collection bag 20B, thereby moving the switching member 96B along the support shaft 216 toward the protrusion 212 of the housing 202 to a blocking position. When the flow path switching unit 92B is in the first position, as shown in FIG. 18 , the second connection flow path 362 and the inflow-side flow path 321 are blocked by the movement of the switching member 96B toward the protrusion 212. When the flow path switching unit 92B is in a second position as shown in FIG. 19 , the first connection flow path 361 and the inflow-side flow path 321 are blocked by the movement of the switching member 96B toward the protrusion 212.
[0154] 13 , when the collection kit 12B is held on the base 72 of the kit holder 62B and the lid 76B is closed, the flow path switching unit 92B of the collection kit 12B is provided in the cutout 200. The flow path switching unit 92B is exposed to the outside of the lid 76B through the cutout 200. The switching member 96B of the flow path switching unit 92B protrudes forward beyond the lid 76B through the cutout 200.
[0155] The collection kit 12B is not limited to a configuration including the flow path switching unit 92B. For example, a closure member (not shown) such as a clamp may be provided in each of the first connection flow path 361 and the second connection flow path 362, and either one of the first connection flow path 361 and the second connection flow path 362 may be selectively connected to the outlet flow path 322 of the main flow path 32 by appropriately opening and closing the two closure members.
[0156] The second embodiment has the following advantages.
[0157] 14 , a collection kit 12B is held in the kit holding portion 62B of the collection kit jig 10B, and the collection kit 12B includes a flow path switching portion 92B that selectively connects one of the multiple connection flow paths 36 (first connection flow path 361, second connection flow path 362) to the outlet flow path 322. The lid portion 76B of the kit holding portion 62B includes a notch 200 cut in the thickness direction of the collection bag 20B, and when the collection kit 12B is held on the base portion 72 and the lid portion 76B is closed, the flow path switching portion 92B is provided in the notch 200.
[0158] According to this configuration, when the lid portion 76B is closed, the flow path switching portion 92B is exposed to the outside of the lid portion 76B by the cutout portion 200, making it easy to operate the flow path switching portion 92B.
[0159] As shown in Fig. 20, a collection kit 12C according to a modified example includes a flow path switching unit 92C. Note that the same components as those in the collection kit 12A according to the first embodiment shown in Fig. 1 are designated by the same reference numerals, and detailed description thereof will be omitted.
[0160] The flow path switching unit 92C includes a plurality of blockers 923C. The plurality of blockers 923C are capable of blocking the first connection flow path 361 and the second connection flow path 362, respectively. The switching portion 232 is exposed to the outside of the housing 202C through the third opening 2223. The switching portion 232 can be gripped by the user to operate the pressing member 228.
[0162] The blocking member 224 of the first blocking unit 2201 is provided so as to be movable toward the first connection flow path 361. When the user operates the switching portion 232 of the pressing member 228 of the first blocking unit 2201 so as to move it downward, the pressing member 228 presses the blocking member 224 toward the first connection flow path 361. The blocking member 224 can block communication with the first connection flow path 361.
[0163] The blocking member 224 of the second blocking unit 2202 is provided so as to be movable toward the second connection flow path 362. When the user operates the switching portion 232 of the pressing member 228 of the second blocking unit 2202 so as to move it downward, the pressing member 228 presses the blocking member 224 toward the second connection flow path 362. The blocking member 224 can block communication with the second connection flow path 362.
[0164] The blocking member 224 of the third blocking unit 2203 is provided so as to be movable toward the inlet-side flow path 321. When a user operates the switching portion 232 of the pressing member 228 of the third blocking unit 2203 so as to move it downward, the pressing member 228 presses the blocking member 224 toward the inlet-side flow path 321. The blocking member 224 can block communication with the inlet-side flow path 321.
