[0001] The present disclosure relates to a cap removal tool and a tool for a collection kit.

[0002] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open Publication No. 2004-33607 discloses a cap removal tool for removing protective caps from medical containers. The cap removal tool includes a tray for holding medical containers and an insertion portion provided on the tray that can remove protective caps from medical containers. The insertion portion is provided on the side of the tray. With the protective cap inserted into the insertion portion from the side of the tray, tilting the medical container causes the protective cap to engage with the insertion portion. The collection kit 12 is used to transfer collection objects contained in a medical bag (not shown) to multiple medical containers 14. 1. A cap removal tool comprising: a container holding member capable of holding a plurality of medical containers, each having a plurality of container bodies; and an engaging member capable of engaging with a plurality of protective caps attached to a plurality of said container bodies, wherein the engaging member is engaged with a plurality of said protective caps of a plurality of said medical containers held by the container holding member, and the plurality of said protective caps can be removed from the plurality of said container bodies by displacing the engaging member relative to the container holding member.

2. A cap removal jig as described in claim 1, wherein the engaging member has a plurality of cap accommodating sections in which a plurality of the protective caps are respectively accommodated, and a plurality of movable claw sections that can protrude into the interiors of the plurality of cap accommodating sections and can engage with a plurality of the protective caps respectively.

3. A cap removal jig according to claim 2, wherein the engaging member has an operating portion that can operate the protrusion of the plurality of movable claw portions from the outside of the engaging member.

4. A cap removal jig as described in claim 2, comprising a jig main body portion capable of at least partially accommodating a plurality of said container bodies, wherein the engaging member is rotatably arranged to open and close relative to the jig main body portion, and wherein when the engaging member is closed relative to the jig main body portion, the plurality of movable claw portions protrude into the interiors of the plurality of cap accommodating portions, thereby causing the plurality of movable claw portions to engage with the plurality of said protective caps.

5. A cap removal jig as claimed in claim 2, comprising: a jig body portion capable of at least partially accommodating a plurality of said container bodies; and a base portion that supports said jig body portion and on which said container holding member can be placed.

6. A cap removal jig as described in claim 1, wherein the plurality of container bodies each have a plurality of neck portions that narrow radially inward below the plurality of protective caps, the engaging member has an inclined portion that is inclined relative to the horizontal direction, the inclined portion is provided with a plurality of insertion recesses into which the plurality of neck portions can be inserted, and the inclined portion engages with the plurality of protective caps by inserting the plurality of neck portions into the plurality of insertion recesses, respectively.

7. A cap removal jig according to claim 6, further comprising a cap recovery section provided below said inclined section for recovering a plurality of said protective caps removed by said inclined section.

8. A cap removal jig according to claim 1, wherein the engaging member has a plurality of claws that can be engaged with a plurality of the protective caps, respectively.

9. A cap removal jig as set forth in claim 8, wherein the engaging member has an engaging main body portion provided with a plurality of said claw portions, and a grip portion protruding from the engaging main body portion and capable of being gripped by a user.

10. A collection kit jig used to transfer collection objects contained in a collection kit to a plurality of medical containers, comprising: a kit holding section that holds the collection kit; a container holding member that is provided below the kit holding section and is capable of holding a plurality of medical containers, each having a plurality of container bodies; a base that is disposed below the kit holding section and the container holding member and supports the container holding member; and an engaging member that is capable of engaging with a plurality of protective caps attached to a plurality of the container bodies, wherein the container holding member is detachable from the base, and wherein the engaging member can be displaced relative to the container holding member while engaged with a plurality of the protective caps of the plurality of medical containers held by the container holding member, thereby enabling the plurality of protective caps to be removed from the plurality of container bodies.
