[0065] Hereinafter, various embodiments of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the attached drawings. However, this is not intended to limit the present disclosure to specific embodiments, and it should be understood that the present disclosure encompasses various modifications, equivalents, and / or alternatives of the embodiments.

[0066] mmWave antennas can be highly susceptible to radiation if metal is present along the radiating direction. To address this, devices are being designed to remove some of the metal along the radiating direction or to avoid using metal altogether. Some designs may include a separate non-metallic structure in place of the metal to enhance aesthetics.

[0067] Existing devices, such as mobile phones, have utilized both vertical and horizontal antenna modules to ensure antenna performance. However, to reduce costs and simplify the structure, a single vertical module can be used. For devices with a single vertical module, signals can be radiated toward the metal area and the back cover to minimize performance degradation caused by the absence of the horizontal module. In this regard, the metal area can be left intact, rather than completely removed, to create a wall structure that creates a more uniform radiation pattern.

[0068] Removing a portion of the metal housing and forming a metal wall requires precise design of the protruding structure, which complicates the design and can lead to external shrinkage issues. Furthermore, the protruding shape can cause lifting or jamming during assembly.

[0069] The portable electronic device described below improves the housing structure located in the signal radiation direction of a communication module (e.g., a communication circuit and an antenna connected thereto) that uses a high-band frequency, thereby securing the signal radiation performance of the communication module and enabling the housing (or frame) included in the signal radiation structure to be designed in various ways according to the design of the portable electronic device or the designer's purpose, thereby securing design diversity.

[0070] In addition, the portable electronic device of the present invention can provide flexibility in the design of a separate antenna structure while maintaining the overall design form of the portable electronic device by providing a communication support structure disposed on the housing (or basic frame) as a separate, independent structure so that it can be adjusted according to the intention of the designer of the antenna structure (or communication module), or by implementing it integrally with an injection-molded part forming part of the housing.

[0071] In addition, at least one embodiment among the various embodiments of the present disclosure supports securing and maintaining good signal characteristics by forming at least a portion of a communication support structure facing the antenna structure to match the antenna signal radiation characteristics.

[0072] In addition, various effects may be provided, either directly or indirectly, through this document.

[0073] Hereinafter, various structures, arrangements, configurations, and relationships with surrounding structures for a portable electronic device including an antenna of the present invention will be described with reference to drawings.

[0074] FIG. 1 is a drawing showing an example of the exterior appearance of a portable electronic device according to one embodiment. FIG. 2 is a drawing showing at least a portion of an exploded perspective view of a portable electronic device according to one embodiment. FIG. 3 is a drawing showing an example of a portion of a portable electronic device according to one embodiment.

[0075] Referring to FIG. 1, a portable electronic device (100_1) (or a first portable electronic device) according to an embodiment may include at least one of a display (160), a rear case (191), a camera device (140), and a housing (110). [0076] The display (160) can output at least one screen related to performing a user function of the portable electronic device (100_1). For example, the display (160) can output at least one screen among a standby screen, a call screen, an Internet access screen, and a specific application access screen. At least one display (160) can be arranged depending on the type of the portable electronic device (100_1). For example, the display (160) can be arranged on the front side (e.g., the side facing the z-axis) of the portable electronic device (100_1). At least a portion of the display (160) can be protected by the housing (110). For example, the edge of the display (160) can be surrounded by the housing (110). In the illustrated drawing, a structure in which the display (160) is arranged in a bar type to cover almost the entire front side of the housing (110) is exemplified, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, the portable electronic device (100_1) may be a foldable portable electronic device, in which case the center of the display (160) may be configured to fold in one direction (e.g., vertically or horizontally).

[0077] As an example, at least one display (160) may be arranged in at least one of the front and rear directions (e.g., the direction facing the -z-axis) of the portable electronic device (100_1). As an example, the display (160) may include a sub-display that is also arranged in the rear direction of the portable electronic device (100_1). In this way, the portable electronic device (100_1) of the present disclosure is not limited by at least one of the shape, size, and number of the display (160), and may include various shapes and structures.

[0078] The printed circuit board (170) may be disposed between the rear surface of the housing (110) and the rear cover (192). Various electronic elements related to the operation of the portable electronic device (100_1) may be disposed (or mounted) on the printed circuit board (170). Alternatively, the memory and the processor may be disposed on the printed circuit board (170), and the at least one sensor and the audio input / output device may be connected via wiring. For example, a communication processor functionally connected to an antenna structure (110_am) may be disposed on the printed circuit board (170).

[0079] The rear cover (192) may be disposed between the housing (110) and the rear case (191). The rear cover (192) may protect the printed circuit board (170). In this regard, the rear cover (192) may be formed to have a size similar to or larger than the size of the printed circuit board (170). As another example, when the portable electronic device (100_1) has a wireless charging function, an antenna pattern related to wireless charging may be disposed on the rear cover (192). At least one antenna pattern related to signal radiation of various communication modules (e.g., a short-range communication module, a global positioning system (GPS) module, an NFC module) disposed on the portable electronic device (100_1) may be disposed on at least a portion of the rear cover (192) (or within at least a portion of or on at least a portion of the rear cover (192). [0080] The rear case (191) may be arranged in the rear direction (e.g., -z-axis direction) of the housing (110) so as to cover the rear of the housing (110) or the rear cover (192). At least a portion of the rear case (191) may be formed of a non-metallic material. For example, the rear case (191) may be formed of at least one material selected from the group consisting of glass, ceramic, and polymer. Alternatively, at least another portion of the rear case (191) may be formed of a metallic material. In an embodiment, when the portable electronic device (100_1) is configured to support a 5G communication function and a 5G communication antenna related to the support of the 5G communication function is designed to radiate signals toward the rear direction of the portable electronic device (100_1), the rear case (191) corresponding to at least a portion of the portion where the 5G communication antenna is arranged may be formed of a non-metallic material. The rim of the rear case (191) may be surrounded by the housing (110). At least one hole (191a) may be formed on one side of the rear case (191) through which at least a portion of the camera device (140) is exposed to the outside. The support plate (110_bt) may include at least one hole penetrating the front and rear surfaces. A battery may be arranged on one side of the support plate (110_bt) (e.g., within or on at least a portion of the rear surface). The above side portions (110a, 110b, 110c, 110d) are, for example, a first side portion (110a) arranged in a first direction (e.g., -y-axis edge) based on the center of the support plate (110_bt), a second side portion (110b) arranged in a second direction (e.g., x-axis edge) perpendicular to the first direction based on the center of the support plate (110_bt), a third side portion (110c) arranged in a position parallel to the first direction based on the center of the support plate (110_bt) and spaced apart from the first side portion (110a) (e.g., spaced apart by the y-axis length of the second side portion (110b)), and a third side portion (110c) arranged in a position perpendicular to the first direction and parallel to the second direction based on the center of the support plate (110_bt) and spaced apart from the second side portion (110b) (e.g., the first It may include a fourth side (110d) arranged at a position spaced apart from the x-axis length of the side (110a).

[0086] As an example, the opposite edges (e.g., the x-axis and -x-axis edges) of the first side portion (110a) may be connected to one edge (e.g., the -y-axis edge) of the second side portion (110b) and one edge (e.g., the -y-axis edge) of the fourth side portion (110d), respectively. The opposite edges (e.g., the x-axis and -x-axis edges) of the third side portion (110c) may be connected to the other edge (e.g., the y-axis edge) of the second side portion (110b) and the other edge (e.g., the y-axis edge) of the fourth side portion (110d), respectively. At least some of the first to fourth side portions (110a, 110b, 110c, 110d) may be used as antennas. As an example, the first side portion (110a) may include a slit (110a_sl) dividing the sections. Similarly, the second side (110b) may include a slit (110b_sl) dividing the section. An insulating member (or insulating material, injection part) may be placed in the slit (110a_sl) and the slit (110b_sl).

[0087] As an example, the housing (110) may include a machined portion (101) (e.g., a CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) machined portion, or a metal portion, at least a portion formed of metal (or a conductive material), or an outer portion, or at least a portion of a support plate (110_bt) and side portions (110a, 110b, 110c, 110d)), an injection-molded portion (102) (or an injection-molded portion formed through an injection process, a non-metal portion, at least a portion formed of a non-conductive material, or an inner portion). At least a portion of the side portions (110a, 110b, 110c, 110d) of the housing (110) may be used as an antenna related to a communication function (e.g., at least one of 3G, 4G communication, GPS communication, and Wi-Fi communication) of the portable electronic device (100_1). In this regard, at least some of the side portions (110a, 110b, 110c, 110d) of the housing (110) may be formed of a metal material. The injection portion (102) may be arranged at least partially between the side portions (110a, 110b, 110c, 110d) and the support plate (110bt). The support plate (110_bt) may include an antenna arrangement area (101_at) (or antenna arrangement area) where the antenna structure (110_am) is arranged. The injection portion (102) may include an injection side area (102_at) arranged between the antenna arrangement area (101_at) and the first side portion (110a) (e.g., at least a portion of which is formed of a metal material and includes a portion exposed toward the -y-axis direction). At least a portion of the communication support structure (200) may be arranged in the injection side region (102_at). In the -y-axis direction, based on the y-axis direction (or when observed from the -y-axis to the y-axis), at least a portion of the injection side region (102_at) may be arranged to overlap at least a portion of the communication support structure (200).The housing (110) may have a frame structure (e.g., 110a, 102_at) including a first side portion (110a) in which the side opening (110a_h) is formed and an injection side area (102_at) of the injection portion (102).

[0088] At least a portion of the inner portion (or the injection portion (102) or the injection side region (102_at)) of the housing (110) may also be removed. A through hole (e.g., a through hole formed in a direction parallel to the display (160)) or an opening may be formed in the inner portion (e.g., the injection portion (102) or the injection side region (102_at)) of the housing (110). The size of the through hole or opening formed in the inner portion of the housing (110) may be smaller than the size of the side opening (110a_h) formed in the outer portion (e.g., the first side (110a)) of the housing (110). Holes corresponding to the openings (or holes) formed in the conductive plate (210) may be formed in the inner portion (or the injection portion (102) or the injection side region (102_at)) of the housing (110). The holes formed in the inner part of the above housing (110) can be filled with a dielectric.

[0089] As an example, the side opening (110a_h) may be arranged in the first side (110a). At least a portion of the injection side region (102_at) may overlap with the side opening (110a_h) (or a structure placement hole, an opening for an antenna, or an opening for signal radiation) formed in the first side (110a). Alternatively, when the communication support structure (200) is removed, at least a portion of the injection side region (102_at) may be observed from the outside through the side opening (110a_h). The side opening (110a_h) may be formed to penetrate the front and rear sides (e.g., in the y-axis and -y-axis directions) (or in the direction parallel to the display (160)) of the first side (110a) formed of a metal material. At least a portion of the shape of the side opening (110a_h) may be formed to have a length corresponding to the shape or length of the antenna structure (110_am) (or a size smaller than the size of the antenna structure (110_am)). As the side opening (110a_h) is formed to penetrate the front and rear surfaces of the first side portion (110a), the process of forming the side opening (110a_h) in the first side portion (110a) is simplified, and the occurrence of defects due to the simplification of the process can be improved.

[0090] The antenna structure (110_am) may be disposed at least partially in the antenna arrangement area (101_at) of the support plate (110_bt) and may be electrically (or functionally) connected to the printed circuit board (170). Alternatively, according to one embodiment, at least a portion of the antenna structure (110_am) may be disposed in the injection portion (102), and the remaining portion may be disposed in the antenna arrangement area (101_at) of the support plate (110_bt). The antenna structure (110_am) may include, for example, a substrate including a plurality of conductive layers and a plurality of non-conductive layers alternately stacked with the conductive layers, and an antenna array (e.g., a plurality of antenna elements arranged to form a directional beam, such as a dipole antenna array and / or a patch antenna array). Alternatively, the antenna structure (110_am) may include at least one antenna capable of transmitting a signal corresponding to a cellular communication method (e.g., 3G, 4G, 5G, or 6G), a substrate on which the antenna is disposed, wiring for supplying power to the antenna, at least one element for controlling signal radiation of the antenna, and a support structure for supporting the antenna structure. According to various embodiments, the antenna structure (110_am) may include at least one of an antenna for Wi-Fi communication, an antenna for GPS communication, or an antenna for short-range communication, a substrate on which the at least one antenna is disposed, wiring for supplying power to the at least one antenna, at least one element for controlling signal radiation of the at least one antenna, and / or a support structure for supporting the antenna structure.

[0091] A lateral signal (or electromagnetic wave) radiated from an antenna array (e.g., mmWave antenna array) included in the antenna structure (110_am) may be partially reflected by a conductive plate (210) (e.g., mmWave deco structure) and radiated toward the rear (and / or front) of the portable electronic device (100_1). The radiation pattern in the rear direction may be set differently depending on the width, thickness, number, or shape of the ribs (or walls, bridges) of the conductive plate (210). The ribs may be formed to be wider than the width between the patch antennas of the antenna structure (110_am). As another example, the ribs of the conductive plate (210) may be formed to be narrower than the width between the patch antennas of the antenna structure (110_am). As an example, the conductive plate (210) may include both a rib having a wider width than the width between the patch antennas of the antenna structure (110_am) and a rib having a narrow width. As another example, the width of the rib formed on the conductive plate (210) may be formed to be the same as or similar to the width between the patch antennas of the antenna structure (110_am). For example, the width of the rib formed on the conductive plate (210) and the width between the patch antennas of the antenna structure (110_am) may be modified in various forms to correspond to at least one of the signal radiation performance or directivity through the antenna structure (110_am), or the main lobe and the side lobe in the radiation pattern.

[0092] The antenna array included in the above antenna structure (110_am) can be arranged so that the center of the patch antenna is misaligned with the center of the side opening (110a_h).

[0093] The above antenna structure (110_am) may be related to antenna technology for transmitting and receiving frequencies in the mmWave band. In this regard, the portable electronic device (100_1) may include a first communication processor supporting a band corresponding to about 410 MHz to 7.125 GHz, and a second communication processor supporting a band corresponding to about 24.25 GHz to 52.6 GHz. The antenna structure (110_am) includes an antenna array corresponding to the side opening (110a_h) of the present disclosure, and may be connected to the second communication processor to support a band corresponding to about 24.25 GHz to 52.6 GHz. The antenna array may be connected to a printed circuit board (170) on which the second communication processor is disposed via an FPCB (flexible PCB). Due to the high frequency of mmWave, antenna performance may be affected if there is metal in the radiation direction. To improve this, the antenna can be designed to remove some of the metal in the radiation direction or to be mounted while avoiding the metal. The mmWave antenna can be classified into a vertical module or a horizontal module depending on the radiation direction. The horizontal module can be arranged so that the signal is radiated toward the rear (rear case (191)) of the portable electronic device (100_1), and the vertical module can be arranged so that the signal is radiated toward the side (e.g., the first side (110a)) of the portable electronic device (100_1). The horizontal module will not interfere with the radiation if the rear case is not made of a metal material (e.g., glass). If the rear case is made of a metal material, the rear case can also form a radiation hole by removing some of the metal similarly to at least some of the side parts. The portable electronic device of the present disclosure may include only the vertical module. A portion of the signal radiated from the vertical module may be irradiated in the rear direction depending on the shape, position and / or structure (e.g., number, width, thickness or position of ribs) of the conductive plate (210).According to the arrangement of the antenna structure (110_am) and the communication support structure (200) of the present disclosure, the portable electronic device can radiate signals in the lateral and rear directions using only the vertical module without using the horizontal module. When the portable electronic device of the present disclosure includes metal in at least a portion of the rear case and includes the horizontal module (when it includes only the horizontal module or when it includes both the horizontal module and the vertical module), the rear case may be formed with a structure in which a separate metal plate including a plurality of opening holes is coupled to the opening of the rear case as disclosed in the present disclosure, without forming a plurality of opening holes in the rear case. The antenna array (or antenna pattern portion) of the antenna structure (110_am) may be arranged in the front, rear, or diagonal direction rather than the lateral direction, and radiation may be performed in the lateral direction (or the front direction or the rear direction) of the portable electronic device through a radiation path formed by the frame structure and the communication support structure (200).

[0094] According to one embodiment, the antenna structure (110_am) may be arranged so that at least a portion of the signal is radiated toward the side opening (110a_h) formed in the first side portion (110a). The antenna structure (110_am) may be formed so that, for example, the length in the x-axis direction is longer than the length in the y-axis direction, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and may have at least one form among various shapes and sizes that can transmit a signal in the direction of the first side portion (110a). As an example, the antenna structure (110_am) may include a plurality of patch antennas or a plurality of antenna blocks (or antenna elements) divided into certain regions. As an example, the antenna structure (110_am) may include an array antenna including a first antenna element (or a first antenna block) and a second antenna element (or a second antenna block). The above antenna structure (110_am) can be placed between the side wall extending in the z-axis direction from the bottom surface of the support plate (110_bt) and the injection side region (102_at).

[0095] The communication support structure (200) may be arranged so that at least a portion thereof faces the injection side region (102_at), while closing at least a portion of the side opening (110a_h). The communication support structure (200) may include, for example, a first adhesive member (200a), a conductive plate (210), a second adhesive member (200b), and a non-conductive plate (220) (or a blocking member or a covering member for blocking the opening, or a supporting member for supporting other components of the communication support structure (200). Here, at least one of the first adhesive member (200a) and the second adhesive member (200b) may be excluded from the communication support structure (200). At least a portion of the communication support structure (200) may also be referred to as an antenna window, an antenna cover, or an antenna lead.

[0096] The conductive plate (210) included in the communication support structure (200) may be formed to improve signal interference of antenna blocks arranged in the antenna structure (110_am). For example, at least a portion of the conductive plate (210) may include openings (or holes) facing the antenna blocks arranged in the antenna structure (110_am) and ribs corresponding to boundaries between the antenna blocks and dividing the openings. The conductive plate (210) may be attached to an inner portion of the housing (110) corresponding to a position where at least a portion of the outer portion of the housing (110) is removed (e.g., the injection portion (102) or the injection side region (102_at)) via at least one adhesive member (e.g., the first adhesive member (200a)). A conductive plate (210) may be adhered to a periphery of a through hole or opening of an inner portion (e.g., injection portion (102) or injection side region (102_at)) accessible from the outer portion of the housing (110) via an adhesive member (e.g., the first adhesive member (200a)). The conductive plate (210) may have a flat shape at least partially or entirely. Alternatively, the conductive plate (210) may at least partially include a curved portion. At least a portion of the conductive plate (210) may be formed to have a different thickness from other portions of the conductive plate (210). This conductive plate (210) may be referred to as a conductive member, a conductive panel, or a conductive structure.

[0097] According to one embodiment, the conductive plate (210) may have a protrusion formed on an edge. The protrusion of the conductive plate (210) may be mechanically coupled to the periphery of the side opening (110a_h) (or at least one groove or boss associated with the side opening (110a_h)) or coupled via a fastening member (screw or spring). The conductive plate (210) may be electrically connected to the housing (110) (e.g., at least a portion of the outer side). The conductive plate (210) may be electrically connected to the housing (e.g., at least a portion of the outer side) and / or the antenna structure (110_am) to function as at least a portion of the antenna of the portable electronic device (100_1). The conductive plate (210) may be electrically connected to the housing (e.g., at least a portion of the outer side) and / or the antenna structure (110_am) to function as at least a portion of a slit antenna. The conductive plate (210) may be electrically connected to the ground of the portable electronic device (100_1) (or the ground area of the antenna structure (110_am)). At least some of the first adhesive member (200a) and the second adhesive member (200b) may include a conductive material. The first adhesive members (200a) and the second adhesive members (200b) (or at least one adhesive member) may have a shape corresponding to the shape of at least a portion (or the entirety) of the conductive plate (210). For example, at least one of the first adhesive members (200a) and the second adhesive members (200b) may have a shape corresponding to the openings and ribs of the conductive plate (210).

[0098] According to one embodiment, the width (or thickness) of some (or more than one) of the plurality of ribs (or multiple walls) arranged on the conductive plate (210) may be different from the width of other some (or more than one) of the ribs. The shape (or size) of some (or more than one) of the openings formed on the conductive plate (210) may be different from the shape (or size) of other some (or more than one) of the openings on the conductive plate (210). The shape of some (or more than one) of the openings (e.g., openings arranged in the center) of the conductive plate (210) may have a polygonal shape defined by the ribs. The side surfaces of some (or more than one) of the openings (e.g., openings located at the edge) of the conductive plate (210) may include straight lines and curved lines.

[0099] The non-conductive plate (220) may serve to prevent movement of the conductive plate (210) while the conductive plate (210) faces the antenna structure (110_am). In addition, the non-conductive plate (220) may serve to close the side opening (110a_h) and block the inflow of foreign substances through the side opening (110a_h). In addition, the non-conductive plate (220) may be formed to have the same or similar size as the side opening (110a_h) and may be provided to have the same or similar color and texture as the periphery of the first side (110a), thereby providing design continuity (or blocking the perception of the side opening (110a_h), an unrecognizable effect, or a sense of unity with the periphery). At least a portion of the non-conductive plate (220) may be formed of a non-conductive material. As an example, the non-conductive plate (220) may be formed of glass or plastic. The non-conductive plate (220) may be formed by applying opaque or translucent printing to transparent glass. The surface formed on the exterior by the non-conductive plate (220) may be coincident with a side surface of the housing (e.g., an outer surface of the first side portion (110a)) or may be lower than a side surface of the housing (110). The non-conductive plate (220) may be formed of fabric or plastic having a grill structure. The non-conductive plate (220) disposed in the side opening (110a_h) may be formed by laminating two or more dielectrics having different permittivities. According to various embodiments, at least a portion or the entirety of the non-conductive plate (220) may be formed in a flat shape. Alternatively, at least a portion of the non-conductive plate (220) may include a curved portion. The thickness of a portion of the non-conductive plate (220) may be formed differently from the thickness of another portion of the non-conductive plate (220).The above non-conductive plate (220) may be referred to as a non-conductive member, a cover member, or an antenna cover member.

[0100] Meanwhile, regarding the configuration of the above-described portable electronic device (100_1), the display (160), the housing (110), the printed circuit board (170), the rear cover (192), the rear case (191), the camera device (140), the antenna structure (110_am), and the communication support structure (200) are exemplified, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, the portable electronic device (100_1) of the present disclosure may further include a battery, an input / output interface, and / or a key input device.

[0101] The portable electronic device (100_1) according to the embodiment of the present invention described above provides a degree of freedom to modify the conductive plate (210) in various ways according to, for example, shape modification, size modification, or arrangement modification of antenna blocks of the antenna structure (110_am), by not forming the conductive plate (210) that may affect the radiation performance of the antenna structure (110_am) in the side opening (110a_h), and thereby simplifying the formation of the side opening (110a_h) to reduce the difficulty of processing the housing (110), and supporting various modifications of the signal radiation direction in the antenna structure (110_am) according to the intention of the designer of the antenna structure (110_am).

[0102] FIG. 4 is a drawing showing an example of a cross-section at a first position of a portable electronic device according to one embodiment. FIG. 5 is a drawing showing an example of a cross-section at a second position of a portable electronic device according to one embodiment. FIG. 6 is a drawing showing an example of a cross-section at a third position of a portable electronic device according to one embodiment.

[0103] As an example, FIG. 4 is a drawing showing an example of a cross-section of a portable electronic device (100_1) cut along the AA` cutting line of FIG. 3. The position of the AA` cutting line may be a position for cutting an area where a rib of the conductive plate (210) is not formed or an area where an opening of the conductive plate (210) is formed. As an example, FIG. 5 is a drawing showing an example of a cross-section of a portable electronic device (100_1) cut along the CC` cutting line of FIG. 3. The position of the CC` cutting line may be a position for cutting the conductive plate (210) in the longitudinal direction of the first side portion (110a). As an example, FIG. 6 is a drawing showing an example of a cross-section of a portable electronic device (100_1) cut along the BB` cutting line of FIG. 3. The position of the BB` cutting line may be a position for cutting an area where a rib of the conductive plate (210) is formed.

[0104] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 6, at least a portion of a portable electronic device (100_1) according to an embodiment may include a housing (110), a rear case (191) disposed on the rear of the housing (110), a rear cover (192), an antenna structure (110_am), and a communication support structure (200). A case adhesive member (191_ad) may be disposed between an edge of the rear case (191) and the housing (110). The case adhesive member (191_ad) may form a band while being disposed along the edge of the rear case (191). The case adhesive member (191_ad) may be disposed on the injection portion (102) of the housing (110). At least a portion of the rear cover (192) may be disposed to cover at least a portion of an upper portion (e.g., a lower portion when based on the z-axis direction) of the antenna structure (110_am).

[0105] The housing (110) includes a processing portion (101) and an injection portion (102), and the processing portion (101) may include an antenna placement area (101_at) on which the antenna structure (110_am) may be placed. The antenna placement area (101_at) may include a first antenna support area (101_at1) facing (or supporting) one side (e.g., a bottom part in the z-axis direction) of the lower (upper side when based on the z-axis) side of the antenna structure (110_am), and a second antenna support area (101_at2) facing (or supporting) the other side (e.g., an edge in the y-axis direction) of the antenna structure (110_am). Based on the drawing currently illustrated, one edge (e.g., y-axis edge) of the first antenna support area (101_at1) may be connected to the lower edge (e.g., z-axis edge) of the second antenna support area (101_at2). For example, the z-axis direction cross-sections of the first antenna support area (101_at1) and the second antenna support area (101_at2) may form an L-shape with respect to the z-axis direction. The rear cover (192) and the antenna arrangement area (101_at) may be arranged to surround three sides of the antenna structure (110_am). In this regard, the z-axis cross-sections of the rear cover (192) and the antenna arrangement area (101_at) may be formed in a C-shape with an opening in the -y-axis direction (or the direction in which the communication support structure (200) is arranged or the direction in which the first side (110a) in which the side opening (110a_h) is formed) is open.

[0106] The above injection side region (102_at) (or inner side) may include a region that is at least partially in contact with the antenna structure (110_am) as a portion of the injection part (102) of the housing (110). At least a portion (e.g., a y-axis lower edge) of the lower end (upper end when based on the z-axis) of the injection side region (102_at) may be connected to one side of the processing part (101) (e.g., a second antenna support region (101_at2)). At least another portion (e.g., a -y-axis upper and lower edges) of the upper and lower ends (lower and upper end when based on the z-axis) of the injection side region (102_at) may be connected to the other side of the processing part (101) (e.g., an upper and lower end of the first side (110a)). A recess that is sunken (or engraved) in the -y-axis direction may be formed on one side of the injection side region (102_at) facing the y-axis. For example, the y-axis height of the top and bottom (top and bottom when based on the z-axis) of the injection side region (102_at) and the y-axis height of the center portion may be different. Alternatively, an empty space may be formed between the -y-axis direction center portion of the antenna structure (110_am) and the y-axis direction center portion of the injection side region (102_at). As another example, at least one isolation wall (e.g., isolation walls 102_at_w1, 102_at_w2, 102_at_w3 of FIG. 5) that is formed long in the z-axis direction may be disposed on the y-axis direction center portion of the injection side region (102_at). As an example, the upper and lower ends of the injection side region (102_at) may be arranged to face or contact the upper and lower ends of the antenna structure (110_am) in the -y-axis direction. A pattern radiating a signal may be arranged at the center portion of the antenna structure (110_am) in the -y-axis direction.

[0107] A recess that is sunken (or engraved) in the y-axis direction may be formed on one side of the injection side region (102_at) facing the -y-axis direction. The -y-axis direction heights of the upper and lower ends (lower ends and lower ends when based on the z-axis) of the injection side region (102_at) and the -y-axis direction height of the central portion may be different. The -y-axis direction upper and lower ends of the injection side region (102_at) may be formed to face or contact at least a portion of the -z-axis upper end and the z-axis lower end of the first side (110a) forming the side opening (110a_h). At least a portion of the communication support structure (200) may be seated in the recess formed in the -y-axis direction central portion of the injection side region (102_at). As an example, a first adhesive member (200a) of a communication support structure (200) and at least a portion of a conductive plate (210) may be disposed in a recess formed in the -y-axis direction of the injection side region (102_at). Alternatively, the conductive plate (210) may be adhered to one surface (or the bottom surface of the recess) of the injection side region (102_at) in the -y-axis direction via the first adhesive member (200a). The conductive plate (210) may reduce signal interference between patterns of an antenna pattern portion (110_am_pt) disposed on an antenna structure (110_am) and may guide a signal irradiated from the antenna pattern portion (110_am_pt) so that it is irradiated in a designated direction. In this regard, a plurality of openings formed in the conductive plate (210) in the y-axis direction may be disposed to face respective patterns of the antenna pattern portion (110_am_pt). The recess height in the -y-axis direction (e.g., the height in the z-axis direction) of the injection side region (102_at) may be formed to be the same as or similar to the height of the side opening (110a_h) (e.g., the height in the z-axis direction). At least a portion of the cross-section in the z-axis direction of the injection side region (102_at) may include an I-shape in which the horizontal length of the upper and lower ends is longer than the horizontal length of the center.

[0108] According to one embodiment, at least a portion of the central portion of the antenna structure (110_am), at least a portion of the central portion of the injection side region (102_at) (or the injection portion (102)), and at least a portion of the central portion of the side opening (110a_h) (e.g., the central portion of the opening in the z-axis direction) may be arranged to overlap with each other in the y-axis and -y-axis directions. For example, in the y-axis direction (or the horizontal direction parallel to the display (160) of the portable electronic device (100_1) when the display (160) of the portable electronic device (100_1) is arranged to face the sky), a portion of the antenna structure (110_am) on which the antenna pattern (or patch antenna) is formed may be arranged to overlap with the central portion of the injection side region (102_at) and the central portion of the side opening (110a_h).

[0109] The above communication support structure (200) may include a first adhesive member (200a), a conductive plate (210), a second adhesive member (200b), and a non-conductive plate (220). Referring to FIG. 5, the conductive plate (210) may include a plurality of openings, edges (210_st, 210_ed) forming the openings, and ribs (210_br1, 210_br2, 210_br3, 210_br4) connecting the edges (210_st, 210_ed). The edges (210_st, 210_ed) may be arranged in parallel with a predetermined interval between them. Alternatively, both ends of the edges (210_st, 210_ed) may be connected to each other. The number of the ribs (210_br1, 210_br2, 210_br3, 210_br4) may vary depending on the number of patterns of the antenna pattern portion (110_am_pt) formed on the antenna structure (110_am). The size and shape of the ribs (210_br1, 210_br2, 210_br3, 210_br4) may vary depending on the size and shape of the antenna pattern portion (110_am_pt) formed on the antenna structure (110_am). The width of at least one (e.g., 210_br1) of the ribs (210_br1, 210_br2, 210_br3, 210_br4) may be wider than the spacing between the antenna elements (e.g., 110_am_pt1 and 110_am_pt2) of the antenna pattern portion. At least one (e.g., 210_br1) of the ribs (210_br1, 210_br2, 210_br3, 210_br4) may be arranged to cover a space between antenna elements (e.g., 110_am_pt1 and 110_am_pt2) of the antenna pattern portion. At least one (e.g., 210_br2) of the ribs (210_br1, 210_br2, 210_br3, 210_br4) may be arranged such that the width of the rib overlaps the antenna element (e.g., 110_am_pt2) of the antenna pattern portion in the y-axis direction. For example, at least one (e.g., 210_br2) of the ribs (210_br1, 210_br2, 210_br3, 210_br4) may be arranged to overlap with a substantial center of an antenna element (e.g., 110_am_pt2) of the antenna pattern portion. Referring to FIG. 6, at least a portion of a signal irradiated from the antenna pattern portion (110_am_pt) may be reflected or refracted by the ribs formed on the conductive plate (210) and the border (or edge) of the conductive plate (210). The signal reflected by the ribs and the border of the conductive plate (210) may be irradiated toward the rear or front side of the portable electronic device (100_1), thereby forming a new signal transmission and reception path.

[0110] Among the above communication support structures (200), the non-conductive plate (220) may be arranged to close at least a portion of the side opening (110a_h). Correspondingly, at least a portion of the upper and lower portions of the non-conductive plate (220) may be arranged to face or contact at least a portion of the upper and lower portions of the first side portion (110a) forming the side opening (110a_h). The configuration of the communication support structure (200) arranged in the side opening (110a_h) may vary depending on the depth of the -y-axis direction recess (or the y-axis direction depth) of the injection side region (102_at). For example, if the -y-axis direction recess depth of the side opening (110a_h) is a first depth, a conductive plate (210), a second adhesive member (200b), and a non-conductive plate (220) may be disposed in the side opening (110a_h) region. For example, if the -y-axis direction recess depth of the side opening (110a_h) is a second depth (e.g., a depth greater than the first depth), a conductive plate (210) may be positioned in the injection side region (102_at), and at least a portion of the second adhesive member (200b) and a non-conductive plate (220) may be disposed in the side opening (110a_h) region.

[0111] The above antenna structure (110_am) may include an antenna pattern portion (110_am_pt), a first antenna substrate (110_am_sb1), a second antenna substrate (110_am_sb2), and a substrate support member (110_am_su).

[0112] The antenna pattern portion (110_am_pt) may include a portion where a metal pattern for signal radiation is arranged (or a portion where a metal pattern is deposited). Referring to FIG. 5, the antenna pattern portion (110_am_pt) may include, for example, a plurality of antenna blocks (110_am_pt1, 110_am_pt2, 110_am_pt3) (or antenna elements). Alternatively, a plurality of antenna patterns (or patch antennas) may be arranged in one antenna block. For example, a first antenna block (110_am_pt1) may have one antenna pattern (or patch antenna) arranged therein, and a second antenna block (110_am_pt2) or a third antenna block (110_am_pt3) may have a plurality of antenna patterns (e.g., two patterns or patch antennas) arranged therein. The antenna structure (110_am) according to the embodiment of the present disclosure is not limited to the number of antenna blocks. For example, the antenna structure (110_am) may include only a first antenna element corresponding to a first antenna block (110_am_pt1) and a second antenna element corresponding to a second antenna block (110_am_pt2). One antenna pattern may be arranged in one antenna block, or multiple antenna patterns may be arranged. For example, all antenna blocks included in the antenna structure (110_am) may be configured to include only one antenna pattern or multiple antenna patterns.

[0113] The first antenna substrate (110_am_sb1) may include a substrate on which a first wiring for supplying a signal to the antenna pattern portion (110_am_pt) is formed. The second antenna substrate (110_am_sb2) may include a substrate on which a second wiring for supplying a signal to the antenna pattern portion (110_am_pt) is formed. Alternatively, the second antenna substrate (110_am_sb2) may include a substrate that supports the first antenna substrate (110_am_sb1) and has a ground region disposed thereon. The substrate support member (110_am_su) may support the antenna substrates (110_am_sb1, 110_am_sb2) and the antenna pattern portion (110_am_pt). The substrate support member (110_am_su) may be fixed to the antenna arrangement area (101_at) to support the antenna structure (110_am). Meanwhile, the structure of the antenna structure (110_am) described above may be modified or changed, and thus the antenna structure (110_am) of the present disclosure is not limited to the form illustrated in the drawing. For example, in the antenna structure (110_am) of the present disclosure, the stacking form of the antenna structure (110_am), the stacking order, and / or the characteristics of each stacked layer may vary depending on design changes. Alternatively, at least some of the antenna structures (110_am) described above may be excluded.

[0114] As described above, the portable electronic device (100_1) of the present disclosure provides a structure in which a conductive plate (210) that affects signal radiation of the antenna structure (110_am) is provided separately, regardless of the housing (110), and then placed in the injection side region (102_at). Accordingly, the portable electronic device (100_1) of the present disclosure can secure the signal radiation performance of the antenna structure (110_am) by the conductive plate (210), while providing an easier process environment than the process of forming a structure corresponding to the conductive plate (210) on the first side (110a) of the housing (110) in which the side opening (110a_h) is formed.

[0115] FIG. 7 is a diagram illustrating an example of a first communication support structure according to an embodiment. The first communication support structure (201) illustrated in FIG. 7 may replace the communication support structure (200) described above. Accordingly, the descriptions related to the portable electronic device (100_1) described above with reference to FIGS. 1 to 6 may also be applied equally to the portable electronic device to which the first communication support structure (201) is applied.

[0116] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 7, the first communication support structure (201) may include a first non-conductive plate (220_1), a conductive plate (210), a second non-conductive plate (220_2), and a first adhesive member (200a).

[0117] The first non-conductive plate (220_1) and the second non-conductive plate (220_2) may have the same material or similar materials. For example, the first non-conductive plate (220_1) and the second non-conductive plate (220_2) may be formed of a polymer material or an injection-molded material. The first non-conductive plate (220_1) and the second non-conductive plate (220_2) may be formed to have the same or similar size as the side opening (110a_h). For example, the x-axis and z-axis lengths of the first non-conductive plate (220_1) and the second non-conductive plate (220_2) may be formed to be the same. The thickness (e.g., y-axis length) of the first non-conductive plate (220_1) may be formed differently from the thickness (e.g., y-axis length) of the second non-conductive plate (220_2). For example, the thickness of the first non-conductive plate (220_1) may be formed thicker than the thickness of the second non-conductive plate (220_2). Alternatively, the thickness of the second non-conductive plate (220_2) may be formed thinner than the thickness of the first non-conductive plate (220_1).

[0118] According to one embodiment, the first non-conductive plate (220_1) and the second non-conductive plate (220_2) can be formed simultaneously through the same injection molding process. In this process, the conductive plate (210) can be placed between the first non-conductive plate (220_1) and the second non-conductive plate (220_2). In this regard, by using a mold in which spaces corresponding to the first non-conductive plate (220_1) and the second non-conductive plate (220_2) and a space in which the conductive plate (210) is placed are formed, an injection molded structure including a conductive plate (210) in which the first non-conductive plate (220_1), the conductive plate (210), and the second non-conductive plate (220_2) are formed as an integral part can be formed.

[0119] The conductive plate (210) may be formed of a different material from the first non-conductive plate (220_1) and the second non-conductive plate (220_2). For example, at least a portion of the conductive plate (210) may be formed of a metal material. As mentioned above, the conductive plate (210) may include borders (e.g., borders (210_st, 210_ed) of FIG. 5) and ribs (e.g., ribs (210_br1, 210_br2, 210_br3, 210_br4) of FIG. 5), and may include openings defined by the borders and the ribs. In the injection-molded structure including the conductive plate (210), the openings of the conductive plate (210) may be filled by at least a portion of the first non-conductive plate (220_1) or the second non-conductive plate (220_2). Alternatively, an injection-molded article forming the first non-conductive plate (220_1) or the second non-conductive plate (220_2) may be placed in the opening area of the conductive plate (210). The overall size (or the outer size defined by the edges) of the conductive plate (210) may have a size corresponding to the size of the first non-conductive plate (220_1) or the second non-conductive plate (220_2) on the xz plane. The thickness (e.g., y-axis length) of the conductive plate (210) may be formed to be thinner than the thickness of the first non-conductive plate (220_1) and less than or equal to the thickness (e.g., y-axis length) of the second non-conductive plate (220_2). The total y-axis thickness of the injection-molded structure including the conductive plate (210) may be formed to be similar to or greater than the thickness (e.g., y-axis opening depth) of the side opening (110a_h).Alternatively, the thickness of the first non-conductive plate (220_1) may be similar to the depth of the side opening (110a_h), and the sum of the thicknesses of the second non-conductive plate (220_2) and the conductive plate (210) may have a size corresponding to the depth of the recess formed in the -y-axis direction of the injection side region (102_at).

[0120] The first adhesive member (200a) may include a double-sided tape. Alternatively, the first adhesive member (200a) may include an adhesive material applied on one side (e.g., a side facing the y-axis direction) of the second non-conductive plate (220_2). Considering a state in which an injection structure including the conductive plate (210) is arranged on a portable electronic device (100_1), the first adhesive member (200a) may be arranged between the injection side region (102_at) and the second non-conductive plate (220_2). Alternatively, the first adhesive member (200a) may adhere the second non-conductive plate (220_2) to one side (e.g., a side facing the -y-axis direction) of the injection side region (102_at). When the second non-conductive plate (220_2), the conductive plate (210), and the first non-conductive plate (220_1) are maintained in an integrated state, the first adhesive member (200a) can serve to adhere the second non-conductive plate (220_2), the conductive plate (210), and the first non-conductive plate (220_1) to one surface of the injection side region (102_at).

[0121] As described above, the first communication support structure (201) according to the embodiment of the present invention can improve the ease of insertion and assembly of the side opening (110a_h) by providing the conductive plate (210) as an integrated injection structure disposed between the first non-conductive plate (220_1) and the second non-conductive plate (220_2).

[0122] FIG. 8 is a drawing showing an example of a configuration of a second communication support structure according to an embodiment. The second communication support structure (202) shown in FIG. 8 can replace at least a portion of the communication support structure (200) described above or the integrated injection structure including the first non-conductive plate (220_1), the conductive plate (210), and the second non-conductive plate (220_2) among the first communication support structures (201) described in FIG. 7. Accordingly, the description related to the portable electronic device (100_1) described above with reference to FIGS. 1 to 6 may also be equally applied to the portable electronic device to which the second communication support structure (202) is applied.

[0123] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 8, the second communication support structure (202) may include a non-conductive plate (220) and a metal pattern (210_pt).

[0124] The non-conductive plate (220) may have the same or similar configuration as the non-conductive plate described above in FIGS. 1 to 6. For example, the non-conductive plate (220) may have a thickness (e.g., y-axis length) that is the same as the depth (e.g., y-axis depth) of the side opening (110a_h). Alternatively, the non-conductive plate (220) may have a thickness similar to the sum of the depth of the side opening (110a_h) described above in FIG. 4 and the recess depth of the injection side region (102_at) in the -y-axis direction. In this process, the thickness of the non-conductive plate (220) may be greater than the depth of the side opening (110a_h).

[0125] The metal pattern (210_pt) may be formed on one surface of the non-conductive plate (220). For example, the metal pattern (210_pt) may be formed on one surface of the non-conductive plate (220) in the y-axis direction. The metal pattern (210_pt) may include, for example, a border pattern (210_pt_eg1, 210_pt_eg2) and a rib pattern (210_pt_br). The above border patterns (210_pt_eg1, 210_pt_eg2) may include a first border pattern (210_pt_eg1) formed on a lower edge of the non-conductive plate (220) (e.g., an edge located in the -z-axis direction among portions of one side formed long in the x-axis) and a second border pattern (210_pt_eg2) formed on an upper edge of the non-conductive plate (220) (e.g., an edge located in the z-axis direction among portions of one side formed long in the x-axis). The first border pattern (210_pt_eg1) and the second border pattern (210_pt_eg2) may be spaced apart from each other by the length of a rib pattern (210_pt_br) formed parallel to the z-axis direction. The x-axis and -x-axis edges of the first border pattern (210_pt_eg1) and the second border pattern (210_pt_eg2) may be connected to each other. The above rib patterns (210_pt_br) may be arranged in multiple numbers at regular intervals between the first border pattern (210_pt_eg1) and the second border pattern (210_pt_eg2). The positions where the rib patterns (210_pt_br) are formed may include positions corresponding to the ribs (210_br1, 210_br2, 210_br3, 210_br4) described above in FIG. 5.The metal pattern (210_pt) forms openings through the first and second border patterns (210_pt_eg1, 210_pt_eg2) and the rib patterns (210_pt_br), and at least a portion of one surface of the non-conductive plate (220) can be exposed in the y-axis direction through the openings of the metal patterns (210_pt). Additionally or alternatively, the first adhesive member (200a) described above can be disposed on the metal pattern (210_pt). Alternatively, when the metal pattern (210_pt) includes an adhesive paste, a separate first adhesive member (200a) is not added, and the metal pattern (210_pt) formed on the non-conductive plate (220) can be adhered to one surface of the injection side region (102_at) without a separate additional configuration.

[0126] The second communication support structure (202) described above can provide a communication support structure using relatively less metal material than the first communication support structure (201) or the communication support structure (200) using the conductive plate (210) by forming a metal pattern (210_pt) on a non-conductive plate (220). In addition, when forming the metal pattern (210_pt), it can be formed thinner than the conductive plate (210) described above.

[0127] Fig. 9 is a diagram showing an example of a configuration of a third communication support structure according to an embodiment. Fig. 10 is a diagram showing an example of a configuration of a fourth communication support structure according to an embodiment. The third communication support structure (203) described in Fig. 9 and the fourth communication support structure (204) described in Fig. 10 are examples of modified forms of the communication support structures described above, and a portable electronic device to which the third communication support structure (203) or the fourth communication support structure (204) is applied may include at least some of the descriptions related to the portable electronic device (100_1) described above in Figs. 1 to 6.

[0128] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 9, the third communication support structure (203) may include a first deformable non-conductive plate (221), a first deformable adhesive member (201b), and a conductive plate (210).

[0129] The conductive plate (210) may include a configuration identical or similar to the conductive plate (210) described above with reference to FIGS. 1 to 7. For example, the conductive plate (210) may include a first side edge (210_eg1), a second side edge (210_eg2), a first border (210_st), a second border (210_ed), and a plurality of ribs (210_br1, 210_br2, 210_br3, 210_br4). When the third communication support structure (203) is positioned on the side opening (110a_h), the first side edge (210_eg1) may be positioned in the -z-axis direction, and the second side edge (210_eg2) may be positioned in the z-axis direction. The first side edge (210_eg1) may include a bar shape formed such that the length in the x-axis direction is longer than the z-axis direction. The second side edge (210_eg2) may have the same length and thickness as the first side edge (210_eg1). The second side edge (210_eg2) may be arranged to be spaced apart from the first side edge (210_eg1) by a predetermined distance (e.g., the length of one rib). The first edge (210_st) may connect one end (e.g., the end in the x-axis direction) of the first side edge (210_eg1) and the second side edge (210_eg2). At least a portion of the first edge (210_st) may form a curve. The second edge (210_ed) may connect the other end (e.g., the end in the -x-axis direction) of the first side edge (210_eg1) and the second side edge (210_eg2). At least a portion of the second edge (210_ed) may form a curve. For example, the second edge (210_ed) may have a shape identical to or similar to that of the first edge (210_st). Alternatively, the second edge (210_ed) may have a position and shape symmetrical to that of the first edge (210_st) based on the center of the conductive plate (210).

[0130] The conductive plate (210) may include a plurality of openings (210_op1, 210_op2, 210_op3, 210_op4, 210_op5) defined by a first side edge (210_eg1), a second side edge (210_eg2), a first border (210_st), a second border (210_ed), and a plurality of ribs (210_br1, 210_br2, 210_br3, 210_br4). For example, the first opening (210_op1) may be defined by a first side edge (210_eg1), a second side edge (210_eg2), a first border (210_st), and a first rib (210_br1). The second opening (210_op2) may be defined by a first side edge (210_eg1), a second side edge (210_eg2), a first rib (210_br1), and a second rib (210_br2). The third opening (210_op3) may be defined by a first side edge (210_eg1), a second side edge (210_eg2), a second rib (210_br2), and a third rib (210_br3). The fourth opening (210_op4) may be defined by a first side edge (210_eg1), a second side edge (210_eg2), a third rib (210_br3), and a fourth rib (210_br4). The fifth opening (210_op5) may be defined by a first side edge (210_eg1), a second side edge (210_eg2), a fourth rib (210_br4), and a second border (210_ed). The openings (210_op1, 210_op2, 210_op3, 210_op4, 210_op5) may have different shapes depending on the defined side edges, borders, and ribs. For example, the first opening (210_op1) and the fifth opening (210_op5) may include regions formed by at least a portion of straight lines and curves, as they are defined by the first border (210_st) and the second border (210_ed).The second opening (210_op2), the third opening (210_op3), and the fourth opening (210_op4) may include an area formed only by straight lines (e.g., a rectangular area) as defined by the side edges (210_eg1, 210_eg2) and the ribs (210_br1, 210_br2, 210_br3, 210_br4). However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and the conductive plate (210) may include various opening shapes such as a polygon (e.g., a triangle), a circle or an ellipse, and a free curve, depending on the shape deformation of the side edges (210_eg1, 210_eg2) and the ribs (210_br1, 210_br2, 210_br3, 210_br4). One or more opening shapes may be different from one or more other opening shapes. For example, a particular aperture shape may be a mirror image of another aperture shape, or may be an inverted form. Additionally, aperture shapes of different shapes may be arranged in repeating or non-repeating patterns.

[0131] The first deformable non-conductive plate (221) may be formed such that the length in the x-axis direction is longer than the length in the y-axis or z-axis direction, and the length in the z-axis direction may be longer than the length in the y-axis direction. At least a portion of the first deformable non-conductive plate (221) may be formed of a non-metallic material. The size of the first deformable non-conductive plate (221) may have a size corresponding to the size of the side opening (110a_h). The first deformable non-conductive plate (221) may have a thickness greater than, for example, the thickness of the conductive plate (210) or the first deformable adhesive member (201b). When the third communication support structure (203) is arranged in the side opening (110a_h), at least a portion of one surface (e.g., one surface in the -y-axis direction) of the first deformable non-conductive plate (221) may be exposed to the outside.

[0132] According to one embodiment, the first deformable non-conductive plate (221) may include a first guide groove (222_re1) and a second guide groove (222_re2) provided on one side. The first guide groove (222_re1) may be positioned at a first position (or point) of the first deformable non-conductive plate (221), and the second guide groove (222_re2) may be positioned at a second position (or point) of the first deformable non-conductive plate (221). The first position and the second position may be positions spaced apart from each other by a predetermined distance.

[0133] As an example, at least a portion of the first guide groove (222_re1) may include a concave shape (e.g., a concave shape in the -y-axis direction from the y-axis) on the surface of the first deformed non-conductive plate (221). The first guide groove (222_re1) may include a corner region in which at least a portion is bent for alignment of the first deformed non-conductive plate (221) and the conductive plate (210) at the first point during the process of joining the conductive plate (210).

[0134] At least a portion of the second guide groove (222_re2) may include a concave shape (e.g., a concave shape in the -y-axis direction from the y-axis) on the surface of the first deformed non-conductive plate (221), similar to the first guide groove (222_re1). The second guide groove (222_re2) may include a corner region in which at least a portion is bent, for alignment of the first deformed non-conductive plate (221) and the conductive plate (210) at the second point during the process of joining the conductive plate (210). As an example, the first guide groove (222_re1) and the second guide groove (222_re2) may include the same shape (e.g., an L-shape). The arrangement shapes of the first guide groove (222_re1) and the second guide groove (222_re2) may be the same or different.

[0135] According to one embodiment, the first guide groove (222_re1) may be arranged in the first deformed non-conductive plate (221) corresponding to the second opening (210_op2) area. The second guide groove (222_re2) may be arranged in the first deformed non-conductive plate (221) corresponding to the fourth opening (210_op4) area. However, the embodiment of the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and the first guide groove (222_re1) and the second guide groove (222_re2) may be arranged in other opening areas. In addition, the first deformed non-conductive plate (221) may include only one guide groove or may include three or more guide grooves. A gap may be formed between the first guide groove (222_re1) and the conductive plate (210). For example, a first gap (gap1) may be formed between a first side edge (210_eg1) of the conductive plate (210) and a first guide groove (222_re1), and a second gap (gap2) may be formed between a first rib (210_br1) of the conductive plate (210) and the first guide groove (222_re1). The second guide groove (222_re2) may also be positioned at a position spaced apart from the conductive plate (210) with a certain gap therebetween, similar to the first guide groove (222_re1).

[0136] The first deformable adhesive member (201b) may be disposed between the first deformable non-conductive plate (221) and the conductive plate (210). The first deformable adhesive member (201b) may serve to fix the conductive plate (210) to the first deformable non-conductive plate (221). In order to expose or allow the user to recognize the first guide groove (222_re1) and the second guide groove (222_re2) disposed on the first deformable non-conductive plate (221), the area where the guide grooves (222_re1, 222_re2) are formed may be removed. In response to this, the first deformable adhesive member (201b) may be placed only in the area between the edges of the first deformable non-conductive plate (221) and the edges (210_st, 210_ed) and side edges (210_eg1, 210_eg2) of the conductive plate (210) facing each other, and in the area corresponding to the first opening (210_op1), the third opening (210_op3), and the fifth opening (210_op5). For example, the first deformable adhesive member (201b) includes a first adhesive region (201b1) corresponding to the first opening (210_op1), a second adhesive region (201b3) corresponding to the third opening (210_op3), and a third adhesive region (201b5) corresponding to the fifth opening (210_op5), and the first adhesive region (201b1) may be spaced apart from the second adhesive region (201b3), and the second adhesive region (201b3) may be spaced apart from the third adhesive region (201b5). Alternatively, the areas (201b2, 201b4) corresponding to the second opening (210_op2) and the fourth opening (210_op4) in which the guide grooves (222_re1, 222_re2) are formed in the first deformable adhesive member (201b) may be areas in which the first deformable adhesive member (201b) is removed.

[0137] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 10, the fourth communication support structure (204) may include a second deformable non-conductive plate (222), a first deformable adhesive member (201b), and a conductive plate (210). The fourth communication support structure (204) illustrated in FIG. 10 may include the same or similar first deformable adhesive member and conductive plate, except for the second deformable non-conductive plate (222). Accordingly, the description of the first deformable adhesive member (201b) and the conductive plate (210) may be supplemented or replaced with the description of the first deformable adhesive member and the conductive plate described above with reference to FIG. 9.

[0138] The second deformed non-conductive plate (222) may be formed such that the length in the x-axis direction is longer than the length in the y-axis or z-axis direction, and the length in the z-axis direction may be longer than the length in the y-axis direction. At least a portion of the second deformed non-conductive plate (222) may be formed of a non-metallic material. The size of the second deformed non-conductive plate (222) may correspond to the size of the side opening (110a_h). The second deformed non-conductive plate (222) may have the same size, shape, and function as the first deformed non-conductive plate (221) described above, except for the first guide protrusion (222_pr1) replacing the first guide groove (222_re1) and the second guide protrusion (222_pr2) replacing the second guide groove (222_re2).

[0139] The first deformable adhesive member (201b) may be disposed between the second deformable non-conductive plate (222) and the conductive plate (210). The first deformable adhesive member (201b) may serve to fix the conductive plate (210) to the second deformable non-conductive plate (222). In order to expose or allow the user to recognize the first guide protrusion (222_pr1) and the second guide protrusion (222_pr2) disposed on the second deformable non-conductive plate (222), the area where the guide protrusions (222_pr1, 222_pr2) are formed may be removed. For example, the first deformable adhesive member (201b) may include a first adhesive region (201b1) corresponding to the first opening (210_op1), a second adhesive region (201b3) corresponding to the third opening (210_op3), and a third adhesive region (201b5) corresponding to the fifth opening (210_op5). The regions (201b2, 201b4) corresponding to the second opening (210_op2) and the fourth opening (210_op4) where the guide protrusions (222_pr1, 222_pr2) are formed may be regions where the first deformable adhesive member (201b) is removed.

[0140] At least a portion of the first guide protrusion (222_pr1) may protrude from one surface of the second deformable non-conductive plate (222). For example, the first guide protrusion (222_pr1) may include a protruding structure including at least one corner. The first guide protrusion (222_pr1) may include an L-shape (or a polygonal shape). The second guide protrusion (222_pr2) may include a protruding structure having a structure similar to that of the first guide protrusion (222_pr1). The first guide protrusion (222_pr1) and the second guide protrusion (222_pr2) may be spaced apart from each other by a specified distance. The number of guide protrusions formed on the second deformable non-conductive plate (222) may be one or three or more. Meanwhile, the communication support structure (200) may include at least one guide groove and at least one guide protrusion.

[0141] As described above, the third communication support structure (203) and the fourth communication support structure (204) according to one embodiment can easily recognize where the conductive plate (210) should be placed while being placed on the non-conductive plate by using the guide grooves (222_re1, 222_re2) or the guide protrusions (222_pr1, 222_pr2).

[0142] FIG. 11 is a drawing showing an example of a second portable electronic device to which a fifth communication support structure according to one embodiment is applied.

[0143] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 11, at least a portion of a second portable electronic device (100_2) according to an embodiment may include a housing (110), an antenna structure (110_am), and a fifth communication support structure (205). Additionally or alternatively, the second portable electronic device (100_2) may further include at least some of the configurations of a rear cover (e.g., a rear cover (192) of FIG. 4), a rear case (191) (e.g., a rear case (191) of FIG. 4), a case adhesive member (e.g., a case adhesive member (191_ad) of FIG. 4), a printed circuit board (170) mentioned in FIG. 2, and a display (160) mentioned in FIG. 1) mentioned in the description above with respect to FIG. 4.

[0144] The housing (110) may include a machined portion (101) including the side portions (110a, 110b, 110c, 110d) and the support plate (110_bt) described above in FIGS. 1 to 3, and an injection portion (102) disposed between the side portions (110a, 110b, 110c, 110d) and the support plate (110_bt). The machined portion (101) may include an antenna placement area (101_at) in which the antenna structure (110_am) may be disposed. The antenna placement area (101_at) may include a first antenna support area (101_at1) and a second antenna support area (101_at2).

[0145] According to one embodiment, the injection portion (102) may include a first deformed injection side region (102_at_ch1). The first deformed injection side region (102_at_ch1) may have a shape identical to or similar to that of the injection side region (102_at) described above in FIG. 4, except for an injection through hole (102_at_h) formed to penetrate in the y-axis and -y-axis directions from the center portion based on the z-axis. For example, the y-axis height of the center portion of the first deformed injection side region (102_at_ch1) based on the outer surface (or exposed surface) of the first side portion (110a) may be formed to be lower than the y-axis heights of the upper and lower portions of the first deformed injection side region (102_at_ch1). The -y-axis height of the center portion of the first deformation injection side region (102_at_ch1) based on the outer surface (or exposed surface) of the first side (110a) may be formed lower than the -y-axis heights of the upper and lower portions of the first deformation injection side region (102_at_ch1).

[0146] The injection through hole (102_at_h) may be formed to penetrate at least a portion of the center of the first deformed injection side region (102_at_ch1) in the y-axis direction. For example, the length of the injection through hole (102_at_h) in the x-axis direction may be formed to be longer than the y-axis or z-axis direction. Accordingly, the injection through hole (102_at_h) may be formed to be long in the x-axis direction and to penetrate the -y-axis or y-axis. For example, the length of the injection through hole (102_at_h) in the x-axis direction may be formed to be similar to the length of the side opening (110a_h) in the x-axis direction. The height of the injection through hole (102_at_h) in the z-axis direction may be formed to be shorter than the height of the side opening (110a_h) in the z-axis direction. The length in the x-axis direction and the height in the z-axis direction of the injection through hole (102_at_h) may be formed to be identical to or similar to the arrangement (e.g., length in the x-axis direction and height in the z-axis direction) of the antenna pattern portion formed on the antenna structure (110_am). Alternatively, the size of the injection through hole (102_at_h) may be formed to be smaller than the edge of the antenna structure (110_am) facing the y-axis direction.

[0147] The fifth communication support structure (205) may be placed within a predetermined space formed by the side opening (110a_h) and the first deformation injection side region (102_at_ch1). The fifth communication support structure (205) may include a first waterproof adhesive member (200a_ch), a conductive plate (210), a second waterproof adhesive member (200b_ch), and a non-conductive plate (220). The conductive plate (210) and the non-conductive plate (220) may be replaced with or supplemented by the description of the conductive plate and the non-conductive plate described above in FIGS. 1 to 10.

[0148] The first waterproof adhesive member (200a_ch) may be disposed between the first deformed injection side region (102_at_ch1) and the conductive plate (210). The first waterproof adhesive member (200a_ch) may prevent foreign substances from entering between the first deformed injection side region (102_at_ch1) and the conductive plate (210) while adhering one side (e.g., one side facing the y-axis) of the conductive plate (210) to the first deformed injection side region (102_at_ch1). In this regard, the first waterproof adhesive member (200a_ch) may have a relatively thicker thickness compared to the first adhesive member (200a) described above. Alternatively, the first waterproof adhesive member (200a_ch) may include a structure in which the waterproof member is disposed between double-sided tapes.

[0149] The second waterproof adhesive member (200b_ch) may be disposed between the conductive plate (210) and the non-conductive plate (220). The second waterproof adhesive member (200b_ch) may prevent foreign substances from entering between the conductive plate (210) and the non-conductive plate (220) while adhering one side (e.g., one side facing the y-axis) of the conductive plate (210) to the non-conductive plate (220). In this regard, the second waterproof adhesive member (200b_ch) may have a structure similar to that of the first waterproof adhesive member (200a_ch). As an example, the second waterproof adhesive member (200b_ch) may have the same thickness as that of the first waterproof adhesive member (200a_ch). The second waterproof adhesive member (200b_ch) may include a structure in which the waterproof member is disposed between double-sided tapes. Alternatively, the second waterproof adhesive member (200b_ch) may be composed of a waterproof material that has adhesive properties and can perform a waterproof function. According to various embodiments, at least one of the first waterproof adhesive member (200a_ch) and the second waterproof adhesive member (200b_ch) may have a shape corresponding to the shape of the conductive plate (210) (e.g., a shape including openings corresponding to the openings of the conductive plate (210).

[0150] The second portable electronic device (100_2) according to the above-described embodiment can provide a waterproof function between the injection side area (102_at) where the antenna structure (110_am) is arranged and the side opening (110a_h). In addition, the second portable electronic device (100_2) can improve signal radiation performance by removing obstacles in the signal radiation direction of the antenna structure (110_am) through the injection through hole (102_at_h).

[0151] FIG. 12 is a drawing showing an example of a third portable electronic device to which a sixth communication support structure according to one embodiment is applied.

[0152] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 12 , at least a portion of a third portable electronic device (100_3) according to an embodiment may include a housing (110), an antenna structure (110_am), and a sixth communication support structure (206). Additionally or alternatively, the third portable electronic device (100_3) may further include at least a portion of the rear cover (e.g., the rear cover (192) of FIG. 2 or FIG. 4 ), the rear case (191) (e.g., the rear case (191) of FIG. 2 or FIG. 4 ), the case adhesive member (e.g., the case adhesive member (191_ad) of FIG. 4 ), the printed circuit board (170) mentioned in FIG. 2 , and the display (160) mentioned in FIG. 1 , all of which are mentioned in the description with reference to FIG. 2 or FIG. 4 .

[0153] The housing (110) may include a machined portion (101) including the side portions (110a, 110b, 110c, 110d) and the support plate (110_bt) described above in FIGS. According to one embodiment, the injection portion (102) may include an injection side area (102_at). The injection side region (102_at) may have a structure in which the thickness of the central portion is thinner than the thicknesses of the upper and lower portions, as described above with reference to FIGS. 4 to 6. Correspondingly, a first empty space may be formed in at least a portion between the injection side region (102_at) and the antenna structure (110_am). A second empty space may be formed between the injection side region (102_at) and the first side (110a) (or between the side opening (110a_h), or between the side opening (110a_h) in which the sixth communication support structure (206) is arranged). Descriptions of other structures or components of the third portable electronic device (100_3) excluding the sixth communication support structure (206) may be replaced or supplemented with those described above with reference to FIGS. 1 to 11. For example, FIG. 12 illustrates an injection side region (102_at) in which the injection through hole (102_at_h) described in FIG. 11 is not formed, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, the injection side region (102_at) of FIG. 12 may be replaced with a first modified injection side region (102_at_ch1) in which the injection through hole (102_at_h) described in FIG. 11 is formed.

[0154] The above sixth communication support structure (206) may include a first waterproof adhesive member (200a_ch), a conductive plate (210), a second waterproof adhesive member (200b_ch), and a third deformed non-conductive plate (223).

[0155] The first waterproof adhesive member (200a_ch), the conductive plate (210), and the second waterproof adhesive member (200b_ch) may correspond to the first waterproof adhesive member, the conductive plate, and the second waterproof adhesive member described above in FIG. 11, respectively. Accordingly, the description regarding the configuration of the first waterproof adhesive member (200a_ch), the conductive plate (210), and the second waterproof adhesive member (200b_ch) may be supplemented or replaced with the description described above in FIG. 11. Alternatively, at least one of the first waterproof adhesive member (200a_ch) and the second waterproof adhesive member (200b_ch) may be replaced with at least one of the adhesive members or modified adhesive members described above in FIGS. 1 to 10.

[0156] The third deformed non-conductive plate (223) may include a second cover portion (223_2) formed flat with respect to the y-axis, a border (e.g., a border facing the -z-axis, z-axis direction or the -x-axis, x-axis direction) that forms one side in the y-axis direction and one side in the -y-axis direction, and a first cover portion (223_1) that is inclined and has a slope greater than 0 with respect to the y-axis. As an example, the third deformed non-conductive plate (223) may have a shape in which the size of the z-axis cross-section gradually decreases from the -y-axis to the y-axis direction (or from the beginning of the second cover portion (223_2)). Alternatively, the size of one side of the third deformed non-conductive plate (223) facing the -y-axis direction may be formed to be larger than the size of one side of the third deformed non-conductive plate (223) facing the y-axis direction. As an example, the size of one side in the -y-axis direction of the third modified non-conductive plate (223) may be the same as or similar to the size of the side opening (110a_h) (or slightly larger when inserted in a force-fit manner). The size of one side in the y-axis direction of the third modified non-conductive plate (223) may be smaller than the size of the side opening (110a_h). As another example, the boundary between the first cover portion (223_1) and the second cover portion (223_2) may include a step.

[0157] The third portable electronic device (100_3) according to the above-described embodiment can provide a function that allows the sixth communication support structure (206) to be easily inserted into the side opening (110a_h) or easily removed during repair.

[0158] FIG. 13 is a diagram illustrating an example of a separated form of some components of a fourth portable electronic device to which a seventh communication support structure according to an embodiment is applied. FIG. 14 is a diagram illustrating an example of a front-facing structure of a fourth portable electronic device according to an embodiment. FIG. 15 is a diagram illustrating an example of an antenna structure arrangement area and a side portion of a fourth portable electronic device according to an embodiment. FIG. 16 is a diagram illustrating an example of a cross-section taken along the cutting line DD' of FIG. 15.

[0159] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 13, a fourth portable electronic device (100_4) according to one embodiment may include a housing (110), an antenna structure (110_am), and a seventh communication support structure (207).

[0160] The housing (110) may include at least a first side portion (110a), a second side portion (110b), and a support plate (110_bt). Alternatively, the housing (110) may include a machined portion (101) (e.g., the first side portion (110a), the second side portion (110b), and the support plate (110_bt)) and an injection portion (102). The machined portion (101) includes an antenna placement area (101_at) (e.g., an area of the support plate (110_bt)) where an antenna structure (110_am) is placed, and the injection portion (102) may include a second modified injection side area (102_at_ch2) adjacent to the antenna structure (110_am) and at least a portion of which faces a side opening (110a_h) formed in the first side portion (110a). In the above antenna arrangement area (101_at), an antenna structure (110_am) can be inserted and fixed in the z-axis direction from the -z-axis direction. Additionally, at least a portion of the rear cover (192) can be arranged to cover at least a portion of the upper portion of the antenna structure (110_am). The processing portion (101) including the first side portion (110a), the second side portion (110b), and the support plate (110_bt) in the housing (110) can be supplemented or replaced with the description of the processing portion (101) including the side portions (110a, 110b, 110c, 110d) and the support plate (110_bt) described above in FIGS. 2 and 4 to 6. For example, the structure of the housing (110) shown in Fig. 13 may have the same or similar structure as the injection portion (102) described above, except for the second deformation injection side region (102_at_ch2). For example, the side opening (110a_h) may be formed in the first side (110a), and the hole length in the x-axis direction may be formed to be longer than the hole length in the z-axis direction.

[0161] The seventh communication support structure (207) may include a non-conductive plate (220), an adhesive member (200b) (or a second adhesive member), and a conductive plate (210). Here, the non-conductive plate (220) may have a configuration corresponding to the non-conductive plate or the modified non-conductive plate described above with reference to FIGS. 2 to 12. Accordingly, the description of the non-conductive plate (220) may be supplemented or replaced with the description of the non-conductive plate or the modified non-conductive plate described above. Although the seventh communication support structure (207) does not illustrate the configuration of the first adhesive member (200a) described above with reference to FIG. 2, the fourth portable electronic device (100_4) may further include a separate adhesive member (or the first adhesive member (200a)) to adhere the conductive plate (210) to the second modified injection side region (102_at_ch2).

[0162] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 14, the fourth portable electronic device (100_4) includes a processing portion (101) and an injection portion (102), and the injection portion (102) may include a second deformed injection side region (102_at_ch2). The second deformed injection side region (102_at_ch2) may include a recessed or engraved region in the -z-axis direction from the z-axis. Correspondingly, the conductive plate (210) may be inserted and fixed in a direction opposite to the direction in which the antenna structure (110_am) is mounted in the antenna arrangement region (101_at). The conductive plate (210) may be provided in a shape corresponding to the conductive plate described above. Alternatively, at least a portion of the conductive plate (210) may be deformed in a shape corresponding to the y-axis width of the second deformed injection side region (102_at_ch2). For example, at least one edge of both sides (e.g., x-axis and -x-axis) of the conductive plate (210) may be formed to be bent in the y-axis direction.

[0163] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 15, when observing the z-axis direction from the -z-axis direction of the fourth portable electronic device (100_4), the antenna structure (110_am) or the antenna arrangement area (101_at) where the antenna structure (110_am) is arranged among the processed portion (101) can be observed, and the rear surface of the second modified injection side area (102_at_ch2) among the injection portion (102) can be observed. Since the conductive plate (210) is arranged to be surrounded by the second modified injection side area (102_at_ch2), it may not be observed from the -z-axis direction to the z-axis direction.

[0164] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 16, the fourth portable electronic device (100_4) may include an antenna structure (110_am) disposed in an antenna placement area (101_at), a conductive plate (210) disposed in a second deformation injection side area (102_at_ch2), a non-conductive plate (220) disposed in a side opening (110a_h) of the first side (110a), and an adhesive member (200b).

[0165] The second modified injection side region (102_at_ch2) may include a groove (102_at_rec) in which a conductive plate (210) is disposed. The groove (102_at_rec) may be opened in the z-axis direction and may have an x-axis length corresponding to the x-axis length of the side opening (110a_h). In this regard, the second modified injection side region (102_at_ch2) may include a first portion (102_at_ch_w1) disposed adjacent to the side opening (110a_h) and a second portion (102_at_ch_w2) disposed adjacent to the antenna structure (110_am). The groove (102_at_rec) may be formed between the first portion (102_at_ch_w1) and the second portion (102_at_ch_w2). As an example, the first part (102_at_ch_w1) of the second deformed injection side region (102_at_ch2) may be arranged to close one opening region of the side opening (110a_h) (e.g., an opening region facing the -y-axis direction among the side openings (110a_h). Correspondingly, the z-axis height and the x-axis length of the first part (102_at_ch_w1) may be formed longer than the z-axis height and the x-axis length of the side opening (110a_h). An adhesive member (200b) may be arranged on one surface (e.g., a surface facing the -y-axis) of the first part (102_at_ch_w1). A conductive plate (210) may be arranged on the other surface (e.g., a surface facing the y-axis) of the first part (102_at_ch_w1). Alternatively, a conductive plate (210) may be arranged on one side (e.g., a side facing the -y axis) of the second portion (102_at_ch_w2). With respect to the arrangement of the conductive plate (210), the other side of the first portion (102_at_ch_w1) or one side of the second portion (102_at_ch_w2) may be formed flat. Alternatively, at least a portion of the facing sides of the first portion (102_at_ch_w1) and the second portion (102_at_ch_w2) may be formed flat.At least a portion of the other surface (e.g., the surface facing the y-axis) of the second portion (102_at_ch_w2) may be arranged to face the antenna structure (110_am). The other surface of the second portion (102_at_ch_w2) may be formed with a recess engraved in the -y-axis direction. Correspondingly, the y-axis thickness of the center may be formed thinner than the top or bottom of the second portion (102_at_ch_w2).

[0166] The adhesive member (200b) may be disposed between the second deformed injection side region (102_at_ch2) and the non-conductive plate (220). The adhesive member (200b) may adhere the non-conductive plate (220) to the first portion (102_at_ch_w1) of the second deformed injection side region (102_at_ch2). The adhesive member (200b) may be replaced with the waterproof adhesive member described above in FIG. 11 or FIG. 12. Alternatively, the adhesive member (200b) may include a shape in which a portion of an area corresponding to the opening of the conductive plate (210) described above in FIGS. 9 and 10 is removed. Alternatively, the adhesive member (200b) may be formed to cover the entirety of one side (e.g., one side facing the y-axis) of the non-conductive plate (220).

[0167] The conductive plate (210) may be attached to one surface of the first portion (102_at_ch_w1) of the second deformed injection side region (102_at_ch2). Alternatively, a separate adhesive member may be disposed between the first portion (102_at_ch_w1) of the second deformed injection side region (102_at_ch2) and the conductive plate (210). As another example, the conductive plate (210) may be attached to one surface (e.g., the surface facing the -y axis) of the second portion (102_at_ch_w2) of the second deformed injection side region (102_at_ch2). In this case, an adhesive member may be further disposed between one surface of the second portion (102_at_ch_w2) and the conductive plate (210). Meanwhile, the shape, size, or thickness of the conductive plate (210) may be any of the shapes described in other drawings of the present disclosure.

[0168] The fourth portable electronic device (100_4) may be arranged such that, when observed in a lateral direction of the housing (110) (e.g., in the y-axis direction from the -y-axis direction), at least a portion of the non-conductive plate (220), at least a portion of the adhesive member (200b), at least a portion of the first part (102_at_ch_w1) of the second deformed injection side region (102_at_ch2), at least a portion of the conductive plate (210) located within the groove (102_at_rec), at least a portion of the second part (102_at_ch_w2) of the second deformed injection side region (102_at_ch2), at least a portion of the antenna structure (110_am), and at least a portion of the processed part (101) (e.g., the antenna arrangement region (101_at)) overlap. Here, the conductive plate (210) is positioned within the groove (102_at_rec), and may be attached to the other surface (e.g., the surface facing the y-axis) of the first part (102_at_ch_w1) or one surface (e.g., the surface facing the -y-axis) of the second part (102_at_ch_w2) for fixation. Alternatively, the conductive plate (210) may be fixed to the bottom surface of the groove (102_at_rec). In this case, the conductive plate (210) is positioned between the first part (102_at_ch_w1) and the second part (102_at_ch_w2), and may form a gap between the first part (102_at_ch_w1) and the second part (102_at_ch_w2).

[0169] The housing (110) may have a titanium dual metal structure (e.g., a titanium-aluminum clad structure). Alternatively, the housing (110) may have a structure in which at least a portion of the outer side (e.g., at least a portion of the side portions) is formed of Ti (titanium), and at least a portion of the inner side (e.g., at least a portion of the support plate (110_bt)) is formed of Al (aluminum), such that the housing (110) has a structure in which the outer side and the inner side are joined to each other. An opening (a space filled with an injection-molded material) free of the titanium and aluminum may be arranged in the antenna arrangement area (101_at). The conductive plate (210) may include at least a portion of the titanium or aluminum. Alternatively, the conductive plate (210) may be formed with a Ti-Al (titanium-aluminum) clad structure.

[0170] FIG. 17 is a drawing showing an example of a configuration of a fifth portable electronic device according to one embodiment, including a support plate, a side portion, and a conductive plate. FIG. 18 is a drawing showing an example of a configuration of a fifth portable electronic device according to one embodiment, including a support plate, a side portion, an injection portion, and a conductive plate. FIG. 19 is a drawing showing an example of a cross-section taken along the EE` line of FIG. 18.

[0171] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 17, a fifth portable electronic device (100_5) according to an embodiment may include a processed portion (101). The processed portion (101) may include a support plate (110_bt) and a side portion (e.g., a first side portion (110a)). The processed portion (101) may further include other side portions described above in FIG. 1. The support plate (110_bt) may include an antenna arrangement area (101_at) where an antenna structure is arranged. The first side portion (110a) may include a slit (110a_sl). The first side portion (110a) may be composed of a plurality of pieces through the slit (110a_sl). An injection space (102_at_cav) in which an injection part is disposed may be formed between the support plate (110_bt) and the first side portion (110a). A conductive plate (210) may be disposed on the injection space (102_at_cav). The conductive plate (210) may be any one of the various types of conductive plates described in other drawings of the present disclosure.

[0172] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 18, an injection portion (102) (or a third modified injection side region (102_at_ch3)) may be placed in an injection space (e.g., injection space (102_at_cav) of FIG. 17) between a support plate (110_bt) of a processing portion (101) and a first side (110a) of the processing portion (101). The injection portion (102) may be formed through an insert injection process. A portion of the injection portion (102) may be filled in a slit (110a_sl) of the first side (110a). The above injection portion (102) may be disposed at least partially between (or at least partially within or at least partially on) a physically separated support plate (110_bt) and side portions (e.g., the first side portion (110a)), so as to physically connect the support plate (110_bt) and the side portions (e.g., the first side portion (110a)). In the injection space (102_at_cav) described above in FIG. 17, a third deformed injection side portion area (102_at_ch3) included in a portion of the injection portion (102) may be formed. One side (e.g., y-axis edge) of the third modified injection side region (102_at_ch3) may be connected to the antenna placement region (101_at) of the support plate (110_bt), and the other side (e.g., -y-axis edge) of the third modified injection side region (102_at_ch3) may be connected to one side of the first side (110a). A conductive plate (210) may be arranged within the third modified injection side region (102_at_ch3). The conductive plate (210) may be fixed within the injection space (102_at_cav) while the third modified injection side region (102_at_ch3) is formed through an injection process, and may be arranged between the antenna placement region (101_at) and the first side (110a). Accordingly, the conductive plate (210) may be formed of SUS material or may be formed of the same material as the housing (110) (e.g., aluminum material).

[0173] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 19, a cross-section taken along the EE` cutting line of FIG. 18 may include a seventh communication support structure (207) at least partially disposed in a side opening (110a_h) formed in a first side portion (110a). The seventh communication support structure (207) may include a non-conductive plate (220) positioned in the side opening (110a_h), an adhesive member (200b) positioned between the third modified injection side region (102_at_ch3) and the non-conductive plate (220), and a conductive plate (210) positioned within the third modified injection side region (102_at_ch3).

[0174] The side opening (110a_h) is formed to penetrate the y-axis direction of the first side portion (110a), and the length in the x-axis direction may be formed to be longer than the length in the z-axis direction. The side opening (110a_h) may be formed at the center portion of the first side portion (110a) based on the z-axis direction. The non-conductive plate (220) may be formed and arranged to close the side opening (110a_h). The size of the non-conductive plate (220) may be formed to be the same as the size of the side opening (110a_h) or formed to be slightly larger than a pre-designed size, so that it may be inserted into the side opening (110a_h) in a force-fit manner. Alternatively, the non-conductive plate (220) may be formed of an elastic material and may be positioned to be compressed before or while being inserted into the side opening (110a_h) to close the side opening (110a_h). The y-axis thickness of the non-conductive plate (220) may be formed to be greater than the y-axis thickness of the side opening (110a_h).

[0175] The third modified injection side region (102_at_ch3) may be disposed in the injection space (102_at_cav) between the antenna arrangement region (101_at) and the first side (110a). The third modified injection side region (102_at_ch3) may be formed to be larger than the side opening (110a_h) formed in the first side (110a), and may be disposed to cover the side opening (110a_h) based on the y-axis direction. As an example, the third modified injection side region (102_at_ch3) may be formed such that the y-axis lengths of the upper and lower portions are longer than the y-axis length of the central portion. An adhesive member (200b) may be disposed on one surface of the third modified injection side region (102_at_ch3) in the -y-axis direction (e.g., the bottom surface of the recessed portion sunken in the y-axis direction). One side in the y-axis direction of the third modified injection side region (102_at_ch3) may be arranged to face the antenna structure (110_am). One side in the y-axis direction of the third modified injection side region (102_at_ch3) may have a recess formed in the -y-axis direction, so that an empty space may be formed between one side of the antenna structure (110_am).

[0176] The conductive plate (210) may be disposed within the third deformed injection side region (102_at_ch3). For example, as described above, the third deformed injection side region (102_at_ch3) may be formed while the conductive plate (210) located within the injection space (102_at_cav) is covered while the injection material fills the injection space (102_at_cav) during the injection process. Accordingly, the conductive plate (210) may be fixedly disposed at a predetermined position within the third deformed injection side region (102_at_ch3). For example, the conductive plate (210) may be disposed at a central portion of the third deformed injection side region (102_at_ch3) with respect to the y-axis direction. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and the conductive plate (210) may be positioned within the third modified injection side region (102_at_ch3) closer to the antenna structure (110_am) than the first side (110a), or closer to the first side (110a) than the antenna structure (110_am). For example, in the z-axis direction, the conductive plate (210) may be positioned within the third modified injection side region (102_at_ch3) corresponding to the antenna pattern portion formed on the antenna structure (110_am). Since the conductive plate (210) is positioned within the third modified injection side region (102_at_ch3), openings defined by the borders, side edges, and ribs of the conductive plate (210) may be filled with the injection material.

[0177] The adhesive member (200b) may be disposed on one surface (e.g., the surface facing the -y-axis direction) of the third deformed injection side region (102_at_ch3). The adhesive member (200b) may adhere one surface of the non-conductive plate (220) to one surface of the third deformed injection side region (102_at_ch3). Although the adhesive member (200b) is illustrated as having a hollow center, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and may be replaced with any of various adhesive members of various shapes exemplified in other drawings of the present disclosure.

[0178] FIG. 20 is a drawing showing an example of a configuration of a sixth portable electronic device in which an eighth communication support structure including a first deformation conductive plate according to one embodiment is arranged.

[0179] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 20 , the sixth portable electronic device (100_6) may include a first side portion (110a) having a side opening (110a_h) and a slit (110a_sl) formed therein, and an eighth communication support structure (208). In FIG. 20 , only a portion of the first side portion (110a) of the sixth portable electronic device (100_6) is illustrated, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, the sixth portable electronic device (100_6) may further include at least some of the other components of the portable electronic device illustrated and described in other drawings of the present disclosure, excluding the eighth communication support structure (208).

[0180] In addition, although the adhesive member (200a) and the first deformable conductive plate (211) are exemplified for the eighth communication support structure (208), the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, the eighth communication support structure (208) may further include a non-conductive plate described in other drawings of the present disclosure, and may further include another adhesive member disposed between the non-conductive plate and the first deformable conductive plate (211). Meanwhile, the first deformable conductive plate (211) described in FIG. 20 may be applied to any one of the communication support structures or portable electronic devices described in FIGS. 1 to 19 and the portable electronic devices described in FIGS. 30 to 32 described below.

[0181] The first deformable conductive plate (211) may include, for example, a first side edge (211_eg1), a second side edge (211_eg2), and a plurality of ribs (211_br1, 211_br2, 211_br3, 211_br4). The first side edge (211_eg1) and the second side edge (211_eg2) may have a length corresponding to at least a portion of the length of the side opening (110a_h) in the x-axis direction. The first side edge (211_eg1) and the second side edge (211_eg2) may be formed to be longer than the length of each of the plurality of ribs (211_br1, 211_br2, 211_br3, 211_br4). The plurality of ribs (211_br1, 211_br2, 211_br3, 211_br4) have the same or similar width and length, and may be arranged between the first side edge (211_eg1) and the second side edge (211_eg2). The width and length of the plurality of ribs (211_br1, 211_br2, 211_br3, 211_br4) may vary depending on the shape of the antenna pattern portion formed on the antenna structure (110_am). Since the above plurality of ribs (211_br1, 211_br2, 211_br3, 211_br4) are arranged at the center portion of the first side edge (211_eg1) and the second side edge (211_eg2), and are not arranged at the x-axis or -x-axis edges of the first side edge (211_eg1) and the second side edge (211_eg2), the edges on both sides of the first side edge (211_eg1) and the second side edge (211_eg2) may be spaced apart from being connected.

[0182] According to one embodiment, the first deformation conductive plate (211) has a first opening (211_op1) defined by one end of the first side edge (211_eg1) and one end of the second side edge (211_eg2) and a first rib (211_br1), a second opening (211_op2) defined by the first side edge (211_eg1) and the second side edge (211_eg2) and the first rib (211_br1) and the second rib (211_br2), a third opening (211_op3) defined by the first side edge (211_eg1) and the second side edge (211_eg2) and the second rib (211_br2) and the third rib (211_br3), and a first side edge (211_eg1) and the second side edge It may include a fourth opening (211_op4) defined by the edge (211_eg2) and the third rib (211_br3) and the fourth rib (211_br4), the other end of the first side edge (211_eg1) and the other end of the second side edge (211_eg2), and a fifth opening (211_op5) defined by the fourth rib (211_br4). The second opening (211_op2), the third opening (211_op3), and the fourth opening (211_op4) may have a shape of a band (e.g., a polygonal band, an elliptical band, or a square band) that penetrates in the y-axis direction and has a closed periphery. The first opening (211_op1) and the fifth opening (211_op5) may each include a groove shape (e.g., a C shape) with one side open.

[0183] The above adhesive member (200a) can adhere the first deformable conductive plate (211) to the injection side region (102_at). In this regard, the adhesive member (200a) can have a shape (e.g., a ladder shape) corresponding to one side of the first deformable conductive plate (211) facing the y-axis direction. Alternatively, the adhesive member (200a) may have a shape that covers the entire surface (e.g., the surface facing the y-axis direction) of the first deformable conductive plate (211) (e.g., the first side edge (211_eg1), the second side edge (211_eg2), the plurality of ribs (211_br1, 211_br2, 211_br3, 211_br4), and the openings (211_op1, 211_op2, 211_op3, 211_op4, 211_op5).

[0184] Fig. 21 is a drawing showing an example of a second deformable conductive plate according to one embodiment. Fig. 22 is a drawing showing an example of a layout relationship between a second deformable conductive plate and an antenna structure according to one embodiment.

[0185] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 21, state 2101 is a drawing showing a front side of the second deformable conductive plate (212) (e.g., one side in the direction facing the first side (e.g., the first side (110a) of FIG. 1) when the second deformable conductive plate (212) is placed in a portable electronic device), and state 2102 is a drawing showing a side side of the second deformable conductive plate (212) (e.g., the side facing the z-axis direction where the display (e.g., the display (160) of FIG. 1) is placed) when the second deformable conductive plate (212) is placed in a portable electronic device).

[0186] According to one embodiment, the second deformable conductive plate (212) may include a first metal layer (212_bd1) (or a first conductive plate), a second metal layer (212_bd2) (or a second conductive plate), and a third metal layer (212_bd3) (or a third conductive plate). At least some of the metal layers (212_bd1, 212_bd2, 212_bd3) may overlap vertically. One edge of the first metal layer (212_bd1) may be connected to one edge of the second metal layer (212_bd2), and the other edge of the second metal layer (212_bd2) may be connected to one edge of the third metal layer. However, the second modified conductive plate (212) of the present invention is not limited thereto, and the metal layers (212_bd1, 212_bd2, 212_bd3) may each be separated and may include a structure bonded vertically, and the number of metal layers may be two or four or more.

[0187] Each of the metal layers (212_bd1, 212_bd2, 212_bd3) may include vertically penetrating openings (212_h1, 212_h2, 212_h3, 212_h4, 212_h5). For example, the first openings (212_h1) (or the first openings) may be formed to penetrate the first to third metal layers (212_bd1, 212_bd2, 212_bd3) upwardly and downwardly, and may be located at one edge, and the fifth openings (212_h5) (or the fifth openings) may be formed to penetrate the first to third metal layers (212_bd1, 212_bd2, 212_bd3) upwardly and downwardly, and may be located at an edge opposite to the edge where the first openings (212_h1) are formed. The second openings (212_h2), third openings (212_h3), and fourth openings (212_h4) (or the second opening, the third opening, and the fourth opening) may be arranged between the first openings (212_h1) and the fifth openings (212_h5). Meanwhile, openings formed in a specific metal layer among the metal layers (212_bd1, 212_bd2, 212_bd3) may partially overlap with openings formed in other metal layers. Since a plurality of openings are formed in each of the above metal layers (212_bd1, 212_bd2, 212_bd3), and each of the openings overlaps at least partially in the upper and lower directions, each of the metal layers (212_bd1, 212_bd2, 212_bd3) may include openings that overlap with other metal layers.

[0188] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 22, the antenna structure (110_am) may include a plurality of antenna blocks (110_am_pt1, 110_am_pt2, 110_am_pt3). A plurality of patterns may be arranged on at least one of each antenna block. For example, a first antenna pattern (110_am_pt11) may be arranged on a first antenna block (110_am_pt1), a second antenna pattern (110_am_pt21) and a third antenna pattern (110_am_pt22) may be arranged on a second antenna block (110_am_pt2), and a fourth antenna pattern (110_am_pt31) and a fifth antenna pattern (110_am_pt32) may be arranged on a third antenna block (110_am_pt3). The above antenna patterns (110_am_pt11, 110_am_pt21, 110_am_pt22, 110_am_pt31, 110_am_pt32) can radiate at least some signals toward the second deformable conductive plate (212). For example, the first antenna pattern (110_am_pt11) can radiate signals toward the first openings (212_h1) formed in the metal layers (212_bd1, 212_bd2, 212_bd3). At least some of the signals irradiated from the second antenna pattern (110_am_pt21) can be irradiated toward the second openings (212_h2) formed in the metal layers (212_bd1, 212_bd2, 212_bd3). The third antenna pattern (110_am_pt22) can radiate a signal toward the third openings (212_h3) formed in the metal layers (212_bd1, 212_bd2, 212_bd3). At least a portion of the signal irradiated from the fourth antenna pattern (110_am_pt31) can propagate (or transmit, transfer) toward a side opening (e.g., the side opening (110a_h) of FIG. 2) through the fourth openings (212_h4) formed in the metal layers (212_bd1, 212_bd2, 212_bd3).The fifth antenna pattern (110_am_pt32) may radiate a signal toward the fifth openings (212_h5) formed in the metal layers (212_bd1, 212_bd2, 212_bd3). According to various embodiments, the pattern spacing of the plurality of patterns formed in at least one of the antenna blocks (110_am_pt1, 110_am_pt2, 110_am_pt3) or the pattern spacing of the antenna patterns formed in the antenna blocks (110_am_pt1, 110_am_pt2, 110_am_pt3) may be smaller than the length (or diameter) of the antenna element. The pattern spacing of the antenna pattern (or the pattern spacing of the plurality of patterns formed in one antenna block) may vary depending on a communication frequency band supported by the portable electronic device or a frequency band supported by the antenna.

[0189] For example, based on the direction in which light irradiated from the antenna patterns (110_am_pt11, 110_am_pt21, 110_am_pt22, 110_am_pt31, 110_am_pt32) travels, a first opening (or at least one of the second to fifth openings) formed in the first metal layer (212_bd1) may partially overlap with a first opening (or at least one of the second to fifth openings) formed in the second metal layer (212_bd2), and a first opening (or at least one of the second to fifth openings) formed in the second metal layer (212_bd2) may partially overlap with a first opening (or at least one of the second to fifth openings) formed in the third metal layer (212_bd3).

[0190] As described above, the size of each of the openings (212_h1, 212_h2, 212_h3, 212_h4, 212_h5) formed in the plurality of metal layers (212_bd1, 212_bd2, 212_bd3) and the size of the vertical overlapping of the openings (212_h1, 212_h2, 212_h3, 212_h4, 212_h5) of each of the metal layers (212_bd1, 212_bd2, 212_bd3) may vary depending on the direction of propagation of light irradiated from the antenna patterns (110_am_pt11, 110_am_pt21, 110_am_pt22, 110_am_pt31, 110_am_pt32). For example, each of the metal layers (212_bd1, 212_bd2, 212_bd3) may include the same number of openings, and the sizes of the openings formed in the metal layers (212_bd1, 212_bd2, 212_bd3) may be different. For example, the size of the first opening (or the fifth opening) formed in the first metal layer (212_bd1) may be smaller than the size of the first opening (or the fifth opening) formed in the second metal layer (212_bd2), and the size of the first opening (or the fifth opening) formed in the second metal layer (212_bd2) may be smaller than the size of the first opening (or the fifth opening) formed in the third metal layer (212_bd3). Alternatively, the size of the second opening (or third opening) formed in the first metal layer (212_bd1) may be larger than the size of the second opening (or third opening) formed in the second metal layer (212_bd2), and the size of the second opening (or third opening) formed in the second metal layer (212_bd2) may be larger than the size of the second opening (or third opening) formed in the third metal layer (212_bd3). Alternatively, the fourth opening of the first metal layer (212_bd1) may be the same size as the fourth opening of the second metal layer (212_bd2), and the fourth opening of the second metal layer (212_bd2) may be the same size as the fourth opening of the third metal layer (212_bd3), but the vertically overlapping positions may be different.Meanwhile, at least one of the number, size and overlapping position of the openings of each metal layer (212_bd1, 212_bd2, 212_bd3) illustrated in FIG. 22 may vary depending on the number and size of the antenna patterns (110_am_pt11, 110_am_pt21, 110_am_pt22, 110_am_pt31, 110_am_pt32). The second deformable conductive plate (212) described in FIGS. 21 and 22 may be applied to any one of the communication support structures or portable electronic devices described in FIGS. 1 to 19 and the portable electronic devices described in FIGS. 30 to 32 described below.

[0191] FIG. 23 is a drawing illustrating an example of a third modified conductive plate according to one embodiment. FIG. 24 is a drawing illustrating an example of a seventh portable electronic device configuration including a third modified conductive plate and a first modified antenna structure according to one embodiment.

The antenna pattern portion (110_am_pt6) may be disposed to face the -y-axis direction from the substrate portion (110_am_sb) and may be disposed at a certain incline. Accordingly, one side of the antenna pattern portion (110_am_pt6) may be arranged to be inclined in the -yx direction on the substrate portion (110_am_sb). At least a portion of the signal irradiated from the antenna pattern portion (110_am_pt6) may be inclined in the -yx direction and may be transmitted or transferred to the outside of the ninth portable electronic device (100_9) through a plurality of openings (217_h1) having a certain incline.

It may include a structure (e.g., an antenna structure corresponding to the antenna structure (110_am) of FIG. 2 and placed in a second housing (112), a first communication support structure (301) placed in the first housing (111) and supporting signal radiation of the first antenna structure, and a second communication support structure (302) placed in the second housing (112) and supporting signal radiation of the second antenna structure.

[0225] The first communication support structure (301) may include a first conductive plate (e.g., the conductive plate (210) of FIG. 2) that partially overlaps the first antenna structure in a first direction toward the first antenna structure from the side (111a) of the first housing (111), and a first non-conductive plate (e.g., the non-conductive plate (220) of FIG. 2) that closes the first side opening (110a_h1) while at least partially overlapping the first conductive plate (or at least partially disposed within the first side opening (110a_h1).

[0226] The second communication support structure (302) may include a second conductive plate (e.g., a conductive plate corresponding to the conductive plate (210) of FIG. 2 and placed on the second housing (112)) that partially overlaps the second antenna structure in a second direction (which may be the same as or different from the first direction toward the first antenna structure depending on the folded or unfolded state) from the side portion (112a) of the second housing (112), and a second non-conductive plate (e.g., a non-conductive plate placed on the second housing (112) that corresponds to the non-conductive plate (220) of FIG. 2) that closes the second side opening (110a_h2) while at least partially overlapping the second conductive plate (or at least partially disposed within the second side opening (110a_h1).

[0227] According to various embodiments, the first communication support structure (301_1) and the second communication support structure (302_1), which correspond to the first communication support structure (301) and the second communication support structure (302) described above, may be arranged at positions spaced apart by a set distance based on the y-axis direction (or -y-axis direction). For example, the first communication support structure (301_1) may be arranged at the upper part (112b) based on the center of the second housing (112), and the second communication support structure (302_1) may be arranged at the lower part (112c) based on the center of the second housing (112). As another example, a plurality of communication support structures (e.g., 301, 302) may be arranged on the side (111a) of the first housing (111) (or the side (112a) of the second housing (112)).

[0228] Meanwhile, the 10th portable electronic device (100_10) may include an antenna structure and a communication support structure arranged in one of the two housings (111, 112).

[0229] FIG. 32 is a diagram illustrating an example of an eleventh portable electronic device including a side signal radiating structure according to one embodiment.

[0230] Referring to FIG. 32, according to one embodiment, the eleventh portable electronic device (100_11) may include a rear case (191), a first deformable side portion (110a_ch1) in which a first deformable side opening (110a_h_ch1) is formed, a fourth deformable antenna structure (110_am_ch4), a communication support structure (200), and a display (160). Here, the eleventh portable electronic device (100_11) may further include at least some of the configurations mentioned in other drawings in addition to the rear case (191), the first deformable side portion (110a_ch1) in which a first deformable side opening (110a_h_ch1) is formed, the fourth deformable antenna structure (110_am_ch4), and the display (160).

[0231] The first deformable side opening (110a_h_ch1) may be formed so that the inlet direction and the outlet direction are different. For example, the outlet of the first deformable side opening (110a_h_ch1) may be formed on the right side of the first deformable side opening (110a_ch1) (e.g., the portion facing the -y-axis direction), and the inlet may be formed on the upper side of the first deformable side opening (110a_ch1) (e.g., the portion facing the -z-axis direction). Accordingly, the first deformable side opening (110a_h_ch1) may include an L-shape. The outlet (e.g., the -y-axis edge) (or at least a portion of the outlet) of the first deformable side opening (110a_h_ch1) may be closed by the communication support structure (200).

[0232] According to one embodiment, the fourth modified antenna structure (110_am_ch4) may include tenth antenna patterns (110_am_pt7) arranged to face a first direction (e.g., the -z-axis direction or the rear direction) and an eleventh antenna pattern (110_am_pt8) arranged to face a second direction (e.g., the z-axis direction or the front direction). The eleventh antenna pattern (110_am_pt8) may be arranged to face one opening area of the first modified side opening (110a_h_ch1) (e.g., an area opened toward the -z-axis, which is an inlet of the first modified side opening (110a_h_ch1)). At least a portion of a communication support structure (200) including the conductive plate (210) and the non-conductive plate (210) described above (e.g., the non-conductive plate 220 of FIG. 2) may be disposed in the other opening area of the first deformed side opening (110a_h_ch1) (e.g., an area opened toward the -y axis, which is the outlet of the first deformed side opening (110a_h_ch1)). In the communication support structure (200), an adhesive member may be further disposed between the conductive plate (210) and the non-conductive plate (210). As an example, an adhesive member may be further disposed between the communication support structure (200) and the inner wall of the outlet of the first deformed side opening (110a_h_ch1).

[0233] The fourth modified antenna structure (110_am_ch4) described above is a single antenna structure that can perform signal irradiation in the rear direction and signal irradiation in the side direction.

[0234] FIG. 33 is a diagram illustrating an example of a twelfth portable electronic device including a side signal radiating structure according to one embodiment.

[0235] Referring to FIG. 33, according to one embodiment, the 12th portable electronic device (100_12) may include a rear case (191), a second deformable side portion (110a_ch2) in which a second deformable side opening (110a_h_ch2) is formed, a fourth deformable antenna structure (110_am_ch4), and a display (160). [0236] The second deformable side opening (110a_h_ch2) may be formed with different inlet and outlet directions. For example, based on the direction in which the signal is radiated, the inlet of the second deformable side opening (110a_h_ch2) may be formed at an upper left inclined portion of the second deformable side opening (110a_ch2) (e.g., a portion facing the diagonal direction between the -z-axis and the y-axis), and the outlet may be formed at a right portion of the second deformable side opening (110a_ch2) (e.g., a portion facing the -y-axis direction). At least a portion of the outlet portion (e.g., the -y-axis edge) of the second deformable side opening (110a_h_ch2) may be closed by the communication support structure (200).

[0237] According to one embodiment, the fourth modified antenna structure (110_am_ch4) may include the eleventh antenna pattern (110_am_pt8). The eleventh antenna pattern (110_am_pt8) may be arranged to face one opening area of the second modified side opening (110a_h_ch2) (e.g., an area opened toward a diagonal line between the -z-axis and the y-axis, which is an inlet of the second modified side opening (110a_h_ch2)). At least a portion of the communication support structure (200) including the non-conductive plate described above (e.g., the non-conductive plate (220) of FIG. 2) or the illustrated conductive plate (210) and the non-conductive plate (220) may be arranged in the other opening area of the second modified side opening (110a_h_ch2) (e.g., an area opened toward the -y-axis). In the above communication support structure (200), an adhesive member may be further placed between the conductive plate (210) and the non-conductive plate (210). As an example, an adhesive member may be further placed between the communication support structure (200) and the inner wall of the outlet of the second deformable side opening (110a_h_ch2).

[0238] As another example, the fourth modified antenna structure (110_am_ch4) may include tenth antenna patterns arranged on a surface opposite to the surface on which the eleventh antenna pattern (110_am_pt8) is formed. Accordingly, when the eleventh antenna pattern (110_am_pt8) radiates a signal in a lateral direction through the second modified side opening (110a_h_ch2), the tenth antenna pattern may radiate a signal in an inclined direction with respect to the rear case (191).
