Description

Post-piling jacket substructure for subsea soft ground with removable suction bucket

[0001] The present invention relates to a post-piling jacket substructure for a soft ground submarine area having a detachable suction bucket, and more particularly, to a post-piling jacket substructure for a soft ground submarine area having a detachable suction bucket, which enables removal of the suction bucket after completion of the construction of the jacket structure by attaching or detaching each suction bucket to or from the jacket structure when constructing various marine structures, including offshore wind power generation, on a soft ground submarine area using a post-piling method, and which allows the suction bucket to be detached from the jacket structure and used continuously by applying the suction bucket detached from the jacket structure to another jacket structure, and which is not affected by inclined pile construction.

[0002] Offshore foundations are constructed on the seabed and used to support or anchor fixed and floating marine structures such as oil drilling platforms and offshore wind power foundations. They can be divided into fixed support structures and floating support structures.

[0003] Fixed support structures are fixed to the seabed to support marine structures. Foundation structures such as jacket support structures, monopiles, tripods, and gravity structures are applied to fixed support structures.

[0004] A jacket-type support structure (hereinafter referred to as a “jacket structure”) is generally composed of four legs and a plurality of braces connecting the legs, and these legs can be configured to be supported on the ground by piles.

[0005] Jacket structures are classified into post-piling and pre-piling depending on the time of pile construction. Pre-piling refers to a method of constructing piles before constructing a jacket structure and then placing and connecting the jacket structure. It can be constructed by performing preparatory work such as leveling the seabed, placing a template on the seabed and using it as a guide to construct piles, placing the jacket structure on the completed piles, and then using grouting to connect the piles and jacket structure.

[0006] Post-piling refers to a method of installing piles by placing a jacket structure on the seabed, inserting piles into the legs of the jacket structure, and then driving and excavating.

[0007] This post-pile method has the problem that it is difficult to work with due to uneven settlement after the substructure is placed on the seabed.

[0008] As a method for constructing a jacket structure using conventional technology, Korean Patent No. 10-1696265 (publication date: February 2, 2017) discloses an offshore wind power jacket support structure with improved vibration damping performance by applying TLD and a construction method thereof.

[0009] However, the jacket support structure of this structure had a problem in that the suction bucket was connected to the lower PC house to form an integrated structure, making continuous reuse through separation of the suction bucket impossible, and since continuous reuse was impossible, a suction bucket had to be provided for each jacket support structure.

[0010] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a post piling jacket substructure for a subsea soft ground having a detachable suction bucket that can be connected to or separated from a jacket structure so that the suction bucket can be separated after the construction of the jacket structure is completed, and the separated suction bucket can be applied to another jacket structure.

[0011] The above object is achieved by a post piling jacket substructure for a seabed soft ground, according to the present invention, comprising: a jacket structure constructed on a seabed soft ground, comprising: each lower support plate horizontally provided at the lower end of each jacket leg and settled on the seabed; and at least two suction buckets provided with suction means and coupled to the lower support plates, wherein the lower support plates are provided with a detachable suction bucket, characterized in that a detachable means is provided for selectively coupling or detaching an upper region of the suction bucket to or from the lower support plate.

[0012] The detachable means may be configured to include a fixed coupling portion formed on the lower support plate so that the suction bucket is inserted, and a plurality of first coupling ends formed to protrude upward from the periphery of the coupling portion; a support portion formed to extend horizontally from the upper end of the suction bucket so that the support portion is seated on the coupling portion, and a suction coupling portion formed to have a plurality of second coupling ends formed to protrude from the upper surface of the support portion in the same number as the first coupling ends; and a coupling member that connects the first and second coupling ends by penetrating the first and second coupling ends when the support portion is seated on the coupling portion.

[0013] The detachable means may include a fixed coupling portion formed on the lower support plate and having a plurality of first coupling ends protruding upward from the periphery of the coupling portion; a support portion formed to extend horizontally from the upper end of the suction bucket so as to be seated at the coupling portion; and a suction coupling portion having a plurality of second coupling ends protruding from the upper surface of the support portion in the same number as the first coupling ends; and a coupling member that is fastened by penetrating the first and second coupling ends when the support portion is seated at the coupling portion.

[0014] The above-mentioned joint may be formed by penetrating the lower support plate or by being opened in one direction at the edge of the lower support plate.

[0015] In the case where the above-mentioned joint is opened in one direction, the lower support plates on both sides can be connected by one suction bucket as the first and second joint ends are joined by the joint member while both sides of the support are respectively seated in the adjacent joints on both sides.

[0016] The above-mentioned joints can be arranged on both sides of the lower support plate based on the lower end of the jacket leg so that the pile penetrating into the seabed through the jacket leg and the suction bucket do not interfere with each other.

[0017] At the edge of the above-mentioned joint, a polygonal mounting end is formed for the support member to be mounted when the suction bucket is inserted into the joint, and the support member can be formed in a polygonal shape so that no flow occurs when mounted on the mounting end.

[0018]

[0019]

[0020] The above detachable means may include: a connecting support member having a connecting hole formed in the center with a downwardly stepped settling stage, a plurality of third connecting stages protruding from an upper edge, and each connecting support member having both sides joined with an end region of each of the lower support plates so as to connect the respective lower support plates adjacent to each other; a suction connecting member having a support portion extended from the upper end of the suction bucket to be settled on the settling stage, and a plurality of fourth connecting stages protruding from the upper surface of the support portion in the same number as the third connecting stages; and a connecting member that penetrates the third and fourth connecting stages and joins the third and fourth connecting stages when the support portion is settled on the settling stage.

[0021] The above-mentioned anchoring member and the above-mentioned support member may be formed into a polygon so that no flow occurs when the support member is anchored to the above-mentioned anchoring member.

[0022] The detachable means may include: each lower support plate having a mounting portion formed with a downward step at each end with the jacket leg in between, and a plurality of fifth connecting portions protruding from the periphery of the mounting portion; a support portion having an extension support portion extending horizontally from the upper end of the suction bucket to be mounted on the mounting portion; and a suction connecting portion having a plurality of sixth connecting portions protruding from the upper surface of each of the extension support portions in a number corresponding to the fifth connecting portion; and a connecting member that connects the fifth and sixth connecting portions by penetrating the fifth and sixth connecting portions when the extension support portions are mounted on the mounting portions.

[0023] The above support member may further include an additional extension support member extending horizontally in a direction different from the extension support members on both sides.

[0024] The above-mentioned connecting member may be formed of a bolt and a nut, or may be formed of a cylinder connected to a hydraulic hose, and a connecting rod connected to the cylinder and operated to be pulled out or pulled in by hydraulic operation.

[0025] According to the present invention, a lower support plate is provided at the bottom of each jacket leg of the jacket structure, and a detachable means for selectively attaching and detaching a suction bucket to each lower support plate is provided, thereby providing an effect that enables removal of the suction bucket after completion of construction of the jacket structure on the seabed.

[0026] In addition, since the suction bucket can be separated from the jacket structure after the jacket structure is constructed on the seabed, the suction bucket separated from the jacket structure can be applied to another jacket structure and used continuously.

[0054] The present invention relates to a jacket structure constructed on a soft seabed, comprising support frames and jacket legs, each of which comprises a lower support plate horizontally provided at the lower end of each jacket leg and secured to the seabed; and at least two suction buckets provided with suction means and coupled to the lower support plates, wherein the lower support plates are provided with a detachable means for selectively coupling or detaching an upper region of the suction bucket to or from the lower support plates. Accordingly, the suction buckets can be removed after the jacket structure is completed on the seabed. In addition, the suction buckets separated from the jacket structure can be applied to other jacket structures for continuous use.

[0055] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings. However, in describing the present invention, descriptions of functions or configurations already known will be omitted to clarify the gist of the present invention.

[0056]

[0057] Among the attached drawings, FIG. 1 is a partially exploded perspective view illustrating a post piling jacket substructure for a seabed soft ground having a detachable suction bucket according to a preferred first embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a perspective view illustrating a coupled state of the post piling jacket substructure for a seabed soft ground having a detachable suction bucket of FIG. 1, and FIG. 3 is a schematic cross-sectional view for explaining the detachment means illustrated in FIG. 2. In addition, FIG. 4 is a perspective view illustrating another embodiment of the coupling portion illustrated in FIG. 1.

[0058]

[0059] As illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 4, a post piling jacket substructure (10) for a subsea soft ground having a detachable suction bucket according to a first embodiment of the present invention comprises: each lower support plate (20) horizontally provided at the lower end of each jacket leg (12) and settled on the seabed; and at least two suction buckets (30) provided with suction means (not illustrated) and coupled to the lower support plate (20). In addition, the lower support plate (20) is characterized in that a detachable means (M) is provided for selectively coupling or detaching the upper region of the suction bucket (30) to or from the lower support plate (20).

[0060] Let me explain this in more detail.

[0061] The jacket structure (10), as shown in Fig. 1, is constructed on the soft ground of the seabed using the post-pile method, and is composed of support frames (14) and jacket legs (12).

[0062] The jacket leg (12) is formed in a hollow shape, and is intended to guide the pile (P) that penetrates the seabed by allowing it to pass through. The jacket structure (10) may be composed of four jacket legs (12), or three as illustrated in FIG. 15, and may be composed of four or more, although not illustrated in the drawing. Since the jacket structure (10) is a well-known structure, a detailed description thereof will be omitted.

[0063] The lower support plate (20) is formed in a polygonal or circular shape with a predetermined thickness and area as illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 3, and is independently provided to maintain a horizontal level at the bottom of each jacket leg (12). Each lower support plate (20) serves to stably settle (settle) the jacket structure (10) on the seabed. A protrusion (22) that curves upward is formed in a specific area of the lower support plate (20) that is connected to the bottom of the jacket leg (12). The protrusion (22) has a shape that is wide at the bottom and narrows toward the top. The protrusion (22) of this structure distributes the load applied from the bottom of the jacket leg (12) to the entire lower support plate (20) to prevent deformation of the lower support plate (20).

[0064] The suction bucket (30) is connected to each lower support plate (20) to temporarily fix the jacket structure (10) to the seabed, and has a hollow structure whose upper part is blocked by a support member (32A) and is open downward. The support member (32A) is made of a metal plate with a predetermined thickness and is formed with an area larger than the area of the upper part of the suction bucket (30) and is connected to the upper part of the suction bucket (30). At least two of these suction buckets (30) are provided on each lower support plate (20). A suction means is provided in the suction bucket (30). Although not shown in the drawing, the suction means may be formed of a suction pipe connected to a suction pump or a main suction pump. The suction means is operated when the suction bucket (30) is inserted into or pulled out of the seabed.

[0065] Since the method of constructing the seabed using the suction bucket, suction means, and jacket structure (10) using the same is well known, a detailed description thereof will be omitted.

[0066] The detachment means (M) is for connecting the suction bucket (30) to the lower support plate (20) or for separating the lower support plate (20) connected to the suction bucket (30) from the suction bucket (30). That is, the detachment means (M) is for selectively connecting or separating the upper end of the suction bucket (30) to or from the lower support plate (20).

[0067] The detachment means (M) includes a fixed coupling portion (24) formed on a lower support plate (20), and a plurality of first coupling stages (24B) that protrude upwardly from the periphery of the coupling portion (24) and have coupling holes (24B-1). It includes a suction coupling portion (32) formed by a support portion (32A) that extends horizontally from the upper end of a suction bucket (30) so as to be seated on the coupling portion (24A), and a plurality of second coupling stages (32B) that protrude from the upper surface of the support portion (32A) in the same number as the first coupling stages (24B) and have coupling holes (32B-1) corresponding to the coupling holes (24B-1) of the first coupling stages (24B). When the support member (32A) is secured to the joint member (24A), the first and second joint sections (24B, 32B) are connected by a joint member (90) that penetrates each joint hole (32B-1, 24B-1) of the first and second joint sections (24B, 32B) that are aligned with each other.

[0068] The connecting portion (24A) of the fixed connecting portion (24) may be formed by penetrating directly downward into the lower support plate (20) as illustrated in FIG. 1, or may be formed by being opened in one direction at the edge of the lower support plate (20) as illustrated in FIGS. 4 and 5. In the case where the connecting portion (24A) has a structure in which it is opened in one direction, each connecting portion (24A) may be formed at each of the two ends of the lower support plate (20) or may be formed facing outward.

[0069] As illustrated in Fig. 3, the connecting portion (24A) is positioned on each side of the lower support plate (20) with respect to the lower end of the jacket leg (12). This is to prevent interference between the pile (P) that penetrates the seabed through the jacket leg (12) and the suction bucket (30) that is connected to the connecting portion (24A).

[0070] At the edge of the joint portion (24A), a polygonal seating portion (24C) is formed for the support portion (32A) to be seated when the lower portion of the suction bucket (30) penetrates the joint portion (24A), and the support portion (32A) is also formed in a polygon corresponding to the seating portion (24C). The seating portion (24C) is formed with a downward step from the edge of the joint portion (24A), and it is preferable that the depth of the seating portion (24C) be the same as the thickness of the support portion (32A). This is to prevent the upper surface of the support portion (32A) from protruding beyond the upper surface of the lower support plate (20) when the support portion (32A) is seated on the seating portion (24C).

[0071] As described above, since the anchoring member (24C) and the support member (32A) are formed in a polygonal shape, when the support member (32A) is inserted into the anchoring member (24C) and is anchored, no flow occurs, the load that causes the stone bucket (30) to rotate can be prevented, and the respective joining holes (24B-1, 32B-1) of the first and second joining members (24B, 32B) can be aligned.

[0072] Meanwhile, as illustrated in FIG. 4, the connecting portion (24A) is formed to be open toward both ends of the lower support plate (20), a polygonal positioning member (26) is connected to the upper surface of the edge of the connecting portion (24A) and becomes an integral part, and first connecting sections (24B) corresponding to the number and position of second connecting sections (32B) can be connected to the upper surface of the positioning member (26) and become an integral part. In this way, by connecting the polygonal positioning member (26) to the upper surface of the edge of the connecting portion (24A) and becoming an integral part, the polygonal support section (32A) can be seated on the edge of the connecting portion (24A).

[0073] In addition, the positioning member (26) may be formed in a closed shape and may be joined to the upper surface of the edge of the joint portion (24A) where the mounting end (24C) is not formed. In this case, it is not necessary to form a downward-stepped mounting end (24C) around the joint portion (24A).

[0074] The first connecting member (24B) is provided around the connecting portion (24), more precisely, on the upper surface of the edge of the mounting member (24C), and may be formed by protruding from the lower support plate (20), or may be manufactured separately and then joined to the lower support plate (20) by welding or the like to form an integral part. A connecting hole (24B-1) for the connecting rod (94) of the connecting member (90) to pass through is formed in the first connecting member (24B).

[0075] The second connecting sections (32B) are provided on the upper edge of the support member (32A) in a number corresponding to the first connecting sections (24B) and in corresponding positions. They may be formed by protruding from the support member (32A), or may be manufactured separately and then joined to the support member (32A) by welding or the like to form an integral part. The number of the second connecting sections (32B) is the same as the number of the first connecting sections (24B), and a connecting hole (32B-1) for the connecting rod (94) of the connecting member (90) to pass through is formed in each of the second connecting sections (32B).

[0076] It is preferable that the number of the first and second connecting sections (24B, 32B) be the same as the number of polygonal faces of the support section (32A) and the anchoring section (24C), and in order to have a more solid connecting structure, the number of the first and second connecting sections (24B, 32B) may be greater than the number of polygonal faces.

[0077] The respective joining holes (24B-1, 32B-1) of the first and second joining sections (24B, 32B) are aligned with each other when the support member (32A) is inserted and seated in the securing section (24C). This is because the positions of the first and second joining sections (24B, 32B) are aligned when the support member (32A) is inserted into the securing section (24C) since the support member (32A) and the securing section (24C) are formed in a polygonal shape. This structure can provide the convenience of not having to align the respective joining holes (24B1, 32B-1) of the first and second joining sections (24B, 32B) after the support member (32A) is seated in the securing section (24C).

[0078] The connecting member (90) is for connecting the first and second connecting ends (24B, 32B) that are aligned with each other, and as illustrated in FIG. 3, may be composed of a bolt (96) that penetrates each connecting hole (24B-1, 32B-1) and a nut (98) that is fastened to the bolt (96). In the case where the connecting member (90) is composed of a bolt (96) and a nut (98), a diving worker must obtain it directly and use the connecting member (90) to fasten the first and second connecting ends (24B, 32B) to connect them.

[0079] In addition, the coupling member (90) may be composed of a cylinder (92: hydraulic jack) connected to a hydraulic hose of a hydraulic generator, as illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 3, and a coupling rod (94) coupled to the cylinder (92) and pulled out or pulled in from the cylinder (92) by hydraulic pressure. Each of the cylinders (92) is connected to a hydraulic control device by a hydraulic hose.

[0080] The coupling member (90) of this structure operates the cylinder (92) when the respective coupling holes (24B-1, 32B-1) of the first and second coupling sections (24B, 32B) are aligned, so that the coupling rod (94) penetrates the respective coupling holes (24B-1, 32B-1). Since the coupling rod (94) penetrates the respective coupling holes (24B-1, 32B-1), the first and second coupling sections (24B, 32B) can be coupled. In addition, by operating the coupling rod (94) backward (introducing), the coupled state of the first and second coupling sections (24B, 32B) can be released. In this way, the coupling member (90) composed of the cylinder (92) and the coupling rod (94) does not require the diving worker to directly obtain it and engage or disengage it, so the working time can be significantly shortened and safety can be ensured.

[0081] The aforementioned cylinders (92) may be provided in numbers corresponding to the number of first coupling sections (24B) on the lower support plate (20), or may be provided in numbers corresponding to the number of second support sections (32B) on the support section (32A) of the suction bucket (30).

[0082] The connecting member (90) is not limited to each of the above-described embodiments, and various structural means may be applied.

[0083] The operation of a post piling jacket substructure (10) for soft ground undersea with a detachable suction bucket configured as described above is described.

[0084] With lower support plates (20) provided at the bottom of each jacket leg (12), the lower part of each suction bucket (30) having a support part (32A) at the top is inserted into each connecting part (24A).

[0085] When the suction bucket (30) is inserted into the joint (24A), the support (32A) is finally inserted into and fixed in the fixing end (24C) of the joint (24A).

[0086] As the support member (32A) is secured to the fixing member (24C), the 1st and 2nd connecting members (24B, 32B) are connected by passing the connecting rod (94) of the connecting member (90) through each of the connecting holes (32B-1, 24B-1) of the 1st and 2nd connecting members (24B, 32B) that are aligned with each other.

[0087] Through this process, the support part (32A) of each suction bucket (30) is combined with each lower support plate (20).

[0088] Next, using a crane at sea, a jacket structure (10) with suction buckets (30) combined is lowered into the water and settled on the seabed.

[0089] When the jacket structure (10) is settled on the seabed, each suction bucket (30) is partially inserted into the seabed by the self-weight of the jacket structure (10).

[0090] When a portion of each suction bucket (30) is inserted into the seabed, a suction means (not shown) is operated to further insert each suction bucket (30) into the seabed.

[0091] As each suction bucket (30) penetrates into the seabed in this way, the jacket structure (10) can be stably and firmly fixed to the seabed, and in particular, since the lower support plate (20) having a predetermined area is kept in close contact with the seabed, a more stable and solid support force can be secured.

[0092] Meanwhile, when the installation of the jacket structure (10) is completed through the aforementioned process, each pile (P) is inserted into the jacket leg (12) and then driven into the seabed by a method such as driving.

[0093] When the penetration of each file (P) is completed, the jacket structure (10) and each file (P) are combined and integrated, and each connecting member (90) that was connecting the first and second connecting sections (24B, 32B) is released to release the connection between the support member (32A) and the lower support plate (20).

[0094] Next, the lifting wire of the crane is connected to the support (32A), and then the suction means is pulled out to pull out the suction bucket (30).

[0095] That is, since the suction bucket (30) is maintained in a coupled state by the coupling member (90) that connects the first and second coupling members (24B, 32B) while the support member (32A) is fixed to the fixing member (24C), the lower support plate (20) and the suction bucket (30), which were integrated with each other, are released from their coupled state by releasing the coupling member (90).

[0096] Accordingly, as the suction means is pulled out, the suction bucket (30) can be pulled out while being separated from the lower support plate (20), and the suction bucket (30) pulled out and separated from the pre-constructed jacket structure (10) can be applied to another jacket structure.

[0097] In this way, a detachment means (M) is provided to integrate or separate the suction bucket (30) from the lower support plate (20) of the jacket structure (10), so that not only can the suction bucket (30) be removed after the jacket structure (10) is constructed on the seabed, but also the suction buckets (30) separated from the pre-constructed jacket structure (10) can be applied to other jacket structures for continuous use.

[0098]

[0099] Among the attached drawings, FIG. 5 is a drawing showing a post piling jacket substructure for a soft ground undersea area having a detachable suction bucket according to a preferred second embodiment of the present invention.

[0100] As illustrated in FIG. 5, the substructure (10) of a post piling jacket for a soft ground undersea structure having a detachable suction bucket according to the second embodiment is the same as the first embodiment described above, except that a connecting portion (24A) having an arc-shaped structure is formed on both sides of the lower support plate (20) and is opened outward, a lower step mounting end (24C) is formed at the edge of each connecting portion (24A), and first connecting ends (24B) are formed on the upper surface of the lower support plate (20) close to the mounting end (24C).
