Abstract
Description
Lead wire and stimulation system electrically connected with stimulator
[0001] This application claims priority to the Chinese patent application No. 202411230847.9, filed on September 3, 2024, with the Chinese Patent Office, the content of which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety. TECHNICAL FIELD
[0002] The present application relates to the technical field of medical devices, for example to a lead wire and a stimulation system electrically connected with a stimulator. BACKGROUND
[0003] In an electrical stimulation treatment system, a stimulator is a kind of medical device widely used in neural modulation, pain management, cardiac pacing and other treatments. In the use process, the accurate and smooth insertion and extraction of the lead wire is an important link to ensure the treatment effect and patient comfort.
[0004] In the related art, in order to prevent body fluids, air or other impurities from entering the inside of the stimulator, and to ensure the safety of the circuit and the patient, the lead wire is usually sealed and connected with the stimulator.
[0005] However, when the lead wire is inserted into the stimulator, the front end of the lead wire gradually enters the inside of the stimulator and increases the space occupied by the lead wire inside the stimulator. Due to the sealing, the gas in the space cannot be discharged, and the air will be compressed in the space, and the air pressure will increase. The increased air pressure will directly act on the lead wire to generate additional insertion and extraction resistance. Not only does this increase the difficulty of inserting and extracting the lead wire, but it can also cause damage to the sealing element or the lead wire due to excessive force, thereby affecting the sealing performance and service life of the stimulator. At the same time, the increased insertion and extraction resistance can also cause unnecessary pain or discomfort to the patient, especially during the treatment process when the lead wire needs to be frequently replaced or adjusted. SUMMARY

[0037] The embodiments of the application disclose a lead wire electrically connected with a stimulator and a stimulation system.
[0038] Embodiment one
[0039] Referring to FIGS. 1-3, the lead wire electrically connected with the stimulator (hereinafter referred to as "lead wire") comprises an insulating body 1 and a connecting segment 13 inserted at least partially into the stimulator 3. The connecting segment 13 is arranged at one end of the insulating body 1. The connecting segment 13 comprises a conductive ring 11 mounted on the insulating body 1, and at least one sealing portion 2 mounted on the insulating body 1. The sealing portion 2 abuts against a sealing member 31 (see FIG. 5) in the stimulator 3, so that the connecting segment 13 inserted into the stimulator 3 is sealed. The lead wire further comprises a gas guide structure arranged on the connecting segment 13, and the gas guide structure is arranged to reduce the insertion force when the connecting segment 13 is inserted into the stimulator 3.
[0040] Exemplarily, the insulation body 1 can be in the form of a sleeve, which is internally provided with a conductive core wire for transmitting electrical signals, and the conductive core wire is electrically connected with the conductive ring 11. The head end of the connecting segment 13 is inserted into the stimulator 3, and the tail end of the connecting segment 13 is provided with at least one sealing part 2. Between the head end and the tail end of the connecting segment 13, a plurality of conductive rings 11 are distributed at intervals. A slot structure is provided on the surface or inside of the connecting segment 13 to form an air guiding structure, so as to discharge the gas in the stimulator 3 while the connecting segment 13 is inserted into the stimulator 3. After the connecting segment 13 is inserted into the designated position, the sealing part 2 can abut against the sealing member 31 on the stimulator 3, so as to smoothly form a seal.
[0041] By providing the air guiding structure, when the insulation body 1 and the connecting segment 13 are inserted into the stimulator 3, the space in the stimulator 3 will be gradually occupied and the gas will be compressed. As the insulation body 1 and the connecting segment 13 gradually extend into the inside of the stimulator 3, the air guiding structure will be in communication with the space in the stimulator 3, and then the compressed gas can be discharged along the air guiding structure, so as to reduce the possibility of increasing the air pressure in the stimulator 3. When the connecting segment 13 is inserted into the designated position, the sealing part 2 can abut against the sealing member 31 on the stimulator 3, so as to form a seal. In this way, when the wire is inserted into the stimulator 3, the air guiding structure can discharge the gas in the space of the stimulator 3, so as to reduce the possibility of continuously increasing the air pressure in the stimulator 3, avoid generating additional insertion and extraction resistance, reduce the operation difficulty of inserting or extracting the wire, and reduce the force applied when the wire is inserted or extracted, so as to reduce the possibility of damaging the sealing member 31 of the stimulator 3 or damaging the wire, effectively prolong the service life of the stimulator 3, and ensure the good sealing performance of the stimulator 3. At the same time, the wire can be quickly replaced or adjusted in position during the treatment, so as to avoid unnecessary pain or discomfort for the patient.
[0042] Optionally, the air guiding structure is provided on the outer surface of the connecting segment 13 or penetrates the insulation body 1.
[0043] Exemplarily, the air guiding structure can be provided only on the outer surface of the connecting segment 13, which can be in the form of a strip-shaped slot structure or a plurality of hole structures distributed at intervals and in communication with each other. The air guiding structure can also penetrate the insulation body 1, which can penetrate along the axial direction of the insulation body 1 or penetrate along the radial direction of the insulation body 1. The air guiding structure can be designed according to the actual air guiding requirement, which can only discharge the gas in the stimulator 3 when the connecting segment 13 is inserted into the stimulator 3.
[0044] Optionally, the air guiding structure includes a plurality of air guiding holes 12 provided on the connecting segment 13, the air guiding holes 12 are distributed at intervals along the axial direction of the connecting segment 13, and the air guiding holes 12 are in communication with each other.
[0045] A plurality of air guiding holes 12 are formed through the outer side wall of the connecting section 13 as the air guiding structure, and the plurality of air guiding holes 12 are in communication with each other, so that when the connecting section 13 is inserted into the stimulator 3, when the first air guiding hole 12 enters the stimulator 3, the gas in the stimulator 3 can flow to other air guiding holes 12 through the air guiding hole 12 and be discharged from the stimulator 3. The size, shape and number of the air guiding holes 12 can be designed according to the actual depth of the connecting section 13 to be inserted. In this embodiment, the air guiding holes 12 are circular, and the plurality of air guiding holes 12 are distributed at intervals.
[0046] Optionally, two sealing portions 2 are arranged at intervals, and a locking ring 21 is arranged between the two sealing portions 2.
[0047] For example, after the connecting section 13 is inserted into the designated position, the sealing portion 2 is arranged at the position corresponding to the sealing member 31 on the stimulator 3, and two sealing portions 2 are arranged at intervals, so that the sealing portion 2 close to the connecting section 13 can be deeply inserted into the stimulator 3, and the other sealing portion 2 is at least partially located in the stimulator 3. The locking ring 21 is arranged between the two sealing portions 2, and the locking ring 21 can be tightly contacted with the locking screw screwed into the stimulator 3, so as to lock the lead wire on the stimulator 3.
[0048] The stimulation system comprises the stimulator 3 and the lead wire electrically connected with the stimulator in any of the above embodiments. The stimulator 3 has a plug-in hole 32 with at least one sealing member 31 in the plug-in hole 32; the lead wire passes through the plug-in hole 32 and is at least partially inserted into the stimulator 3, and the sealing portion 2 of the lead wire is in contact with the sealing member 31.
[0049] In use, when the lead wire is frequently replaced or adjusted in position, the air pressure in the stimulator 3 can be discharged through the air guiding structure of the lead wire, without continuously increasing the air pressure, so as to avoid additional plugging resistance, so that the plugging difficulty of the lead wire is small, and the possibility of damage to the sealing member 31 or the lead wire is reduced. Meanwhile, the sealing member 31 is arranged at least one, and in this embodiment, the sealing member 31 is arranged at intervals, and cooperates with the two sealing portions 2 of the lead wire, so as to ensure that the sealing performance of the stimulator 3 is good. This is beneficial to prolong the service life of the stimulator 3, and the lead wire can also be quickly replaced or adjusted in position, so as to avoid unnecessary pain or discomfort for the patient.
[0050] Embodiment Two
[0051] On the basis of the first embodiment, the difference between this embodiment and the first embodiment is that the air guiding structure is different.
[0052] Referring to FIGS. 4 and 5, optionally, the air guiding structure comprises an air guiding channel 14 formed in the middle of the connecting section 13, and the air guiding channel 14 penetrates the insulating body 1 along the axial direction of the insulating body 1.
[0053] Exemplarily, both ends of the insulation body 1 are open, and the gas guiding channel 14 is arranged in the middle of the insulation body 1, so that when the insulation body 1 is inserted into the stimulator 3, the gas can be discharged along the gas guiding channel 14, and the wire is an extension wire.
[0054] Embodiment three
[0055] Based on the embodiment one, the difference between the embodiment one and the embodiment two is the gas guiding structure.

[0057] Exemplarily, the gas guiding channel 14 is only arranged in the connecting segment 13, and does not need to pass through the whole insulation body 1, that is, the gas guiding channel 14 can extend along the axial direction of the insulation body 1, but the end of the insulation body 1 away from the connecting segment 13 is closed, and only one gas guiding hole 142 is arranged at the head end of the connecting segment 13, so that the gas in the stimulator 3 flows into the gas guiding channel 14, and the gas exhaust hole 141 is arranged on the side wall of the connecting segment 13, the gas exhaust hole 141 passes through the side wall of the connecting segment 13, so that the gas exhaust hole 141 communicates with the gas guiding channel 14, so that the gas in the gas guiding channel 14 can be discharged through the gas exhaust hole 141. The gas exhaust hole 141 can be arranged close to the sealing part 2, so that the gas exhaust hole 141 is away from the gas guiding hole 142. The gas exhaust hole 141 can be arranged on the insulation body 1, and the wire is a stimulation wire.
[0058] Optionally, the gas exhaust holes 141 are distributed in multiple.
[0059] Exemplarily, the gas exhaust holes 141 can be distributed in multiple around the circumference of the connecting segment 13, or can be distributed in multiple along the radial direction of the connecting segment 13, so as to increase the efficiency of discharging the gas. The number and distribution mode of the gas exhaust holes 141 can be designed according to the actual pressure change in the plugging process.
[0060] Embodiment four
[0061] Based on the embodiment one, the difference between the embodiment one and the embodiment two is the gas guiding structure.
[0062] Referring to FIG. 7 and FIG. 8, optionally, the gas guiding structure includes the gas guiding groove 15 arranged on the outside wall of the connecting segment 13, and the gas guiding groove 15 extends along the axial direction of the insulation body 1.

When the insulating body 1 is inserted into the stimulator 3, the gas in the stimulator 3 can be discharged out of the stimulator 3 along the gas guide groove 15 when the gas guide groove 15 enters the interior of the stimulator 3 at the leading end. The gas guide groove 15 extends to the sealing portion 2 to ensure that the gas guide groove 15 can guide the gas in a large insertion and extraction range during the entire insertion and extraction process of the connecting section 13, and to reduce the increase in the gas pressure in the stimulator 3 as much as possible.
[0064] Optionally, the gas guide grooves 15 are distributed along the axial direction of the connecting section 13.
[0065] Exemplarily, a plurality of conductive rings 11 are sleeved on the outer side wall of the connecting section 13 as contacts, and the plurality of conductive rings 11 are distributed along the axial direction of the insulating body 1. In order to ensure the integrity of the conductive rings 11, the gas guide grooves 15 can not be formed on the conductive rings 11, but only on the outer side wall of the connecting section 13 to form a plurality of gas guide grooves 15 on the outer side wall of the connecting section 13. The plurality of gas guide grooves 15 can be arranged in a row along the axial direction of the insulating body 1 or can be distributed along the circumferential direction of the insulating body 1.
[0066] When the connecting section 13 is inserted into the stimulator 3, the gas in the stimulator 3 can be discharged out of the stimulator 3 through the gas guide groove 15 whenever one gas guide groove 15 is in communication with the space in the stimulator 3, thereby reducing the possibility of continuous increase in the gas pressure in the stimulator 3 and ensuring that the connecting section 13 can be smoothly inserted into the stimulator 3.
[0067] Optionally, the gas guide grooves 15 include first gas guide grooves 15a and second gas guide grooves 15b.
