[0054] Figure 5 is an exemplary diagram illustrating EMI noise generated between the connector and the cable connection point.

[0055] FIG. 5 is a schematic drawing for explaining electromagnetic interference (EMI) noise generated in a connecting member, and the illustrated shape does not limit the scope of the present disclosure.

[0056] Referring to FIG. 5, EMI noise may occur at the connection point between the cable (20) and the connector (30). When a high-speed signal (C) is transmitted through a conductor (21) placed within the cable (20), EMI noise (N) may be radiated between the cable (20) and the connector (30). Problems such as impedance unmatching between the cable (20) and the connector (30), or the generation of high-speed signal reflection waves due to dissatisfaction with the reflection coefficient design value, may occur. These problems may manifest as EMI noise (N) radiation problems.

[0057] As described, the problem of EMI noise (N) radiation may occur inside the connecting member (311, 321). The problem of EMI noise (N) radiation may occur inside the connecting member (311, 321) where a separate shielding structure is not provided. The present disclosure proposes a structure that attenuates such EMI noise (N). A cable device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure can solve the problem of EMI noise (N) radiation caused by impedance mismatch inside the connecting member (311, 321) without adding a separate shielding structure.

[0058] FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating the state before the cable and the connector are combined in a cable device according to one embodiment. FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional view of a cable end located within a connecting member in a cable device according to one embodiment.

[0059] The configurations shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 may be included in the cable device (10) shown in FIGS. 1 to 4.

[0060] The embodiments of FIGS. 6 and 7 can be optionally combined with the embodiments of FIGS. 1 to 5. The embodiments of FIGS. 6 and 7 can be optionally combined with the embodiments of FIGS. 8 to 10.

[0061] For configurations in FIGS. 6 and 7 that are substantially identical to the configuration described above, the same reference number is used.

[0062] Referring to FIGS. 6 and 7, the end of the cable (20) may be arranged so that a plurality of conductors (21) are exposed to the outside in order to be coupled with the connector (30). The sheath (23) of the end of the cable (20) may be removed so that the cable (20) comes into contact with the connector (30).

[0063] According to one embodiment, the end region (20a) of the cable (20) may be placed within the connecting member (311, 321). The sheath (23) of the end region (20a) of the cable (20) may be removed to be coupled with the connector (30). The shielding member (22) located in the end region (20a) of the cable (20) may branch into a shielding line (221) to be described later and may serve to reduce EMI noise.

[0064] According to one embodiment, within the connecting member (311, 321), the shielding member (22) may be branched into multiple shielding lines (221). In the end region (20a) of the cable (20), only the sheath (23) is removed, and the shielding member (22), composed of multiple ground core wires, is not removed and may be branched into multiple shielding lines (221). The number of multiple shielding lines (221) may vary.

[0065] According to one embodiment, a plurality of shielding lines (221) may each be composed of at least one ground core wire. A plurality of shielding lines (221) may be composed of a plurality of ground core wires. A plurality of ground core wires may be bundled together to form a single shielding line (221). The number of ground core wires included in each of the plurality of shielding lines (221) may vary.

[0066] According to one embodiment, in the end region (20a) of the cable (20) located within the connecting member (311, 321), a plurality of shielding lines (221) (or a plurality of ground core lines) may be arranged to pass between a plurality of conductors. A plurality of shielding lines (221) (or a plurality of ground core lines) may be arranged between each of the plurality of conductors (21). During the process of combining the cable (20) and the connector (30), a worker may create a plurality of shielding lines (221) from the shielding member (22). The shielding lines (221) created by the worker may be arranged between each of the plurality of conductors (21). The shielding lines (221) arranged between the plurality of conductors (21) can reduce EMI noise generated within the connecting member (311, 321).

[0067] According to one embodiment, each of the plurality of shielding lines (221) may be arranged to cross between the plurality of conductors (21).

[0068] According to one embodiment, at least one of the plurality of shielding lines (221) may be arranged to cross the radius of the cable (20).

[0069] According to one embodiment, each of the plurality of shielding lines (221) may be arranged to have a curved shape.

[0070] According to one embodiment, one of the plurality of shielding lines (221) (or plurality of ground core lines) within the connecting member (311, 321) may be arranged to intersect at least one other of the plurality of shielding lines (221) (or plurality of ground core lines). The plurality of shielding lines (221) may intersect with different shielding lines (221) when arranged to pass between the plurality of conductors (21).

[0071] According to one embodiment, a plurality of shielding lines (221) (or a plurality of ground core lines) may form a net shape or mesh shape overall within the connecting member (311, 321). For example, a plurality of shielding lines (221) (or a plurality of ground core lines) may form a multi-layered net shape or mesh shape within the connecting member (311, 321). Here, each of the plurality of conductors (21) may be positioned to penetrate a mesh hole of the net shape or mesh shape formed by the plurality of shielding lines (221) (or a plurality of ground core lines).

[0072] According to one embodiment, a plurality of shielding lines (221) (or a plurality of ground core lines) within the connecting member (311, 321) may be arranged to separate adjacent conductors (21) among a plurality of conductors (21).

[0073] According to one embodiment, a plurality of shielding lines (221) (or a plurality of ground core lines) may be extended to serve to separate and shield between a plurality of conductors (21) within a connecting member (311, 321).

[0074] In the cable device (10) of the present disclosure, a plurality of shielding wires (221) are arranged between a plurality of conductors (21) within the connecting member (311, 321), thereby matching the impedance between the connector (30) and the cable (20). As a result, EMI noise radiated within the connecting member (311, 321) can be reduced.

[0075] According to one embodiment, the free ends of a plurality of shielding wires (221) (or a plurality of ground core wires) may be positioned to be in contact with the main surface of the cable (20). The free end portion of the shielding wire (221) remaining after crossing a plurality of conductors (21) may be bent to be in contact with the outer surface of the cable (20).

[0076] According to one embodiment, the free ends of a plurality of shielding wires (221) (or a plurality of ground core wires) can be joined to the outer surface of a cable (20) by compression. In the process of connecting the cable (20) and the connector (30), the ends of the cable (20) can be compressed by the coupling of connecting members (311, 321). By compression of the connecting members (311, 321), the free ends of the plurality of shielding wires (221) can be fixed in contact with the outer surface of the cable (20). The connecting members (311, 321) can be arranged to fix the plurality of shielding wires (221).

[0077] According to one embodiment, the free ends of a plurality of shielding wires (221) (or a plurality of ground core wires) can be drawn into the inside of the connector (30). For example, the free ends of the plurality of shielding wires (221) (or a plurality of ground core wires) can be placed between a first case (e.g., the first case (331a, 331b) of FIG. 4) and a second case (e.g., the second case (332a, 332b) of FIG. 4). Accordingly, the free ends of the plurality of shielding wires (221) (or a plurality of ground core wires) can be prevented from being exposed to the outside.

[0078] The cable (20) may be, for example, an HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) cable, but is not limited thereto. The connector (30) may be, for example, an HDMI connector, but is not limited thereto.

[0079] According to one embodiment, EMI noise may occur in the portion of the conductor (21) exposed to the outside by removing the covering (23). In the present disclosure, the magnitude of EMI noise can be reduced by using a plurality of ground core wires constituting the shielding member (22). In the present disclosure, since the radiation problem within the connecting member (311, 321) has been solved by using the existing shielding member (22), EMI noise can be reduced without adding a new configuration. In addition, there is an advantage that assembly is easy because it is not difficult for a worker to place a plurality of shielding wires (221) between each of the plurality of conductors (21) when combining the cable (20) and the connector (30).

[0080] FIG. 8 is a drawing showing a cable end located within a connecting member in a cable device according to one embodiment.

[0081] The configuration shown in FIG. 8 may be included in the cable device (10) shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 4.

[0082] The embodiment of FIG. 8 can be optionally combined with the embodiments of FIG. 1 to 7. The embodiment of FIG. 8 can be optionally combined with the embodiments of FIG. 9 and FIG. 10.

[0083] For configurations in Fig. 8 that are substantially identical to the configuration described above, the same reference number is used.

[0084] Referring to FIG. 8, a cable (800) according to one embodiment may include a shielding member (810). The shielding member (810) may be disposed along the inner surface of the sheath (23). The shielding member (810) may be composed of a plurality of ground core wires.

[0085] According to one embodiment, the shielding member (810) may be arranged to surround a plurality of conductors (21). The shielding member (810) may be arranged to be connected to a ground electrode. The plurality of shielding lines (811) may be disposed at the end of the shielding member (810). The plurality of shielding lines (811) may be disposed at the end region (800a) of the cable (800).

[0088] According to one embodiment, a plurality of shielding wires (811) (or a plurality of ground core wires) may be arranged to wrap around the circumference of each of a plurality of conductors (21) within a connecting member (e.g., connecting member (311, 321) of FIG. 2).

[0089] According to one embodiment, each of the plurality of shielding wires (811) (or plurality of ground core wires) may be arranged to wrap around one of the plurality of conductors (21). The shielding wire (811) may be arranged to wrap around the outer surface of the conductor (21). For example, the shielding wire (811) may be arranged to wrap around the conductor (21) one or more times. The shielding wire (811) may be arranged to wrap around the conductor (21) in a spiral shape.

[0090] By arranging a shielding line (811) located within a connecting member (e.g., connecting member (311, 321) of FIG. 2) to surround the conductor (21), EMI noise radiated due to impedance mismatch between the connector (e.g., connector (30) of FIG. 4) and the cable (800) can be reduced.
