Abstract
Description
[0001] TOILET MOUNTING MEMBER
[0002] Subject of the Invention
[0003] The invention relates to a toilet mounting member, which enables a toilet to be fixed on a vertical mounting surface in such a way that no mounting member will be visible to the user after the mounting.
[0004] State of the Art
[0005] The ceramic sanitary ware are frequently used in the toilet rooms, bathrooms, and kitchens. Some ceramic sanitary ware are fixed directly on the floor or the force imparted by the ceramic sanitary ware due to its weight and the force imparted during the use are enabled to be transferred directly to the floor with the help of a base fitted to the ceramic sanitary ware. Due to having a more aesthetic appearance and providing some advantages during the use, it is often preferred today to fix the ceramic sanitary ware to a surface perpendicular to the floor. In the applications where the ceramic sanitary ware is fixed to a surface perpendicular to the floor, it is necessary to fix the ceramic sanitary ware on the mounting surface in such a way that it can bear both its own weight and the forces imparted during the use. For this purpose, the mounting procedure is carried out using various connection members and various mounting methods.
[0006] In the applications where the mounting of the ceramic sanitary ware is performed on a mounting surface perpendicular to the floor, i.e., on a wall, for aesthetic reasons, it is undesirable that the connection members used for the mounting are visible on the surface of the ceramic sanitary ware after the mounting. For this purpose, the concealed mounting apparatus, which will not be visible after the mounting, are used for the mounting of the ceramic sanitary ware.
[0007] In an exemplary application of the state of the art employed for fixing a ceramic sanitary ware to a wall (Figure 1), a stud fixed to a wall penetrates the mounting apparatus and a setscrew, as a result of being rotated, advances on the body of the mounting apparatus fixed on the ceramic sanitary ware and penetrates a cavity present on said stud, and in this way, enables the ceramic sanitary ware to be fixed to the wall. In said application, said body of the mounting apparatus is positioned in a body housing (0) according to the state of the art, which is located on the rear surface of the toilet and which is formed in a special manner to enable said mounting procedure. The formation of said body housing on the toilet complicates the production process and leads to extra labor and extra costs. An application where it is possible to achieve the mounting of a toilet by means of the concealed mounting members without the need to include such a body housing is not available in the state of the art.
[0008] Object of the Invention
[0009] An object of the invention is to develop a toilet mounting member, which is fixed in the toilet seat mounting holes on a toilet and which enables said toilet to be fixed, i.e., to be hung, on a vertical surface in such a way that the mounting members will not be visible to the user after the mounting.
[0010] Another object of the invention is to develop a toilet mounting member, which, despite being fixed in the mounting holes located on the toilet seat, does not block said holes and which further has an opening extending to the studs in a way to allow the toilet to be fixed on said studs on the vertical mounting surface.
[0011] Another object of the invention is to develop a toilet mounting member having an opening in which a toilet lid hinge may be fixed after the toilet is fixed on the stud on the vertical mounting surface.

[0047] Detailed Description of the Invention
[0048] The invention relates to a toilet mounting member, which enables a toilet to be fixed on a vertical mounting surface in such a way that no mounting member will be visible to the user after the mounting. More specifically, the invention relates to a toilet mounting member enabling the realization of the wall-mounting of the toilets that lack, on a toilet rear surface (K2), a body housing (0) present in the toilets according to the state of the art, wherein said toilet mounting member, by way of being positioned in a body housing (7), which is located on a surface where the toilet lid is positioned (KI) and which also enables a hinge (6) of the toilet lid to be fixed to the toilet after the mounting, enables said toilet to be fixed on a stud located on a wall.
[0049] The toilet mounting member according to the invention comprises;
[0050] • at least one body (1), wherein said body (1) has a structure suitable for being positioned in a body housing (K3), which is located on a surface where the toilet lid is positioned (KI) and in which a hinge (6) of the toilet lid is also fitted, and wherein a stud located on a surface where the mounting of the toilet is to be performed penetrates said body (1), and in this way, said toilet is set on said stud;
[0051] • at least one body fixing member (2), which enables said body (1) to be fixed in said body housing (K3) and which has at least one body fixing member middle gap (22) for allowing access from an upper portion of the surface where toilet lid is positioned (Kll) to a lower portion of the surface where toilet lid is positioned (K12); and
[0052] • at least one adapter (5), which has a structure suitable for penetrating said body (1) during the mounting and which comprises at least one cavity (51) where at least one connection member (4) will penetrate to enable said toilet to be fixed.
[0053] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the body (1) is a body (1), which, after being positioned in the body housing (K3) via the lower portion of the surface where toilet lid is positioned (K12), is fixed in said body housing (K3) via the body fixing member (2) connected with said body (1) via the upper portion of the surface where toilet lid is positioned (Kll). In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the body (1) has at least one body threaded portion (13). Similarly, the body fixing member (2) also has at least one body fixing member threaded portion (21). In said embodiment, after the body (1) is positioned in the body housing (K3) via the lower portion of the surface where toilet lid is positioned (K12), the body fixing member (2) is positioned via the upper portion of the surface where toilet lid is positioned (Kll) such that the body fixing member threaded portion (21) will correspond to the body threaded portion (13) and advances inside said body threaded portion (13) as a result of being turned via said upper portion of the surface where toilet lid is positioned (Kll). As a result of this advancing movement, the body (1) comes into contact with the lower portion of the surface where toilet lid is positioned (K12) and the body fixing member (2) comes into contact with the upper portion of the surface where toilet lid is positioned (Kll), and in this way, said body (1) becomes fixed in the body housing (K3). In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the body fixing member (2) has at least one body fixing member abutment surface (23), which enables the body (1) to be fixed in the body housing (K3) by contacting the upper portion of the surface where toilet lid is positioned (Kll) while said body fixing member (2) advances inside the body threaded portion (13) as a result of being turned.
[0054] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the adapter (5) is an adapter (5), which is placed on a stud located on the surface where the mounting of the toilet is to be performed. Said adapter (5) is an adapter (5), which advances on the stud as a result of being turned after being positioned on said stud. In a preferred embodiment, the adapter (5) is an adapter (5), which is positioned such that the cavity (51) said adapter (5) comprises faces the body housing (K3) while the toilet is at the mounting position.
[0055] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the body (1) has at least one adapter opening (11), which the adapter (5) may penetrate. In a preferred embodiment, the adapter opening (11) is an adapter opening (11), which extends along the body (1) parallel to the surface where toilet lid is positioned (KI) when said body (1) is positioned in the body housing (K3).

In said embodiment, after the body (1) is positioned in the body housing (K3) and the adapter (5) enters said body (1) via the adapter opening (11), the connection member (4) reaches the cavity (51) of said adapter (5) by passing through the body fixing member middle gap (22) and the body connection member opening (12).
[0057] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the body (1) has at least one body connection member seat (14), in which the connection member (4) is positioned and in which said connection member (4), as a result of being turned, moves in a direction of approaching or moving away from the cavity (51) of the adapter (5). The connection member (4), which, as a result of being turned, advances inside the body connection member seat (14) in a direction of approaching the adapter (5) and enters the cavity (51), pulls, owing to the geometric form of said cavity (51), the toilet towards the wall and enables said toilet to be fixed on said adapter (5). The connection member (4), which, as a result of being turned, advances inside the body connection member seat (14) in a direction of moving away from the adapter (5), goes out of the cavity (51) and permits the dismounting of the toilet.
[0058] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the body (1) is a body (1), which allows the hinge holder portion (61) of the hinge (6) of the toilet lid to fasten on the body housing (K3), i.e., allows said hinge holder portion (61) to penetrate said body (1), following the fixing of the toilet on the adapter (5) via at least one connection member (4).
[0059] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the body fixing member middle gap (22) is a body fixing member middle gap (22), which permits the hinge holder portion (61) to pass through the same to thereby reach the lower portion of the surface where toilet lid is positioned (K12).
[0060] A preferred embodiment of the invention comprises at least one intermediate body (3), which is positioned between the body (1) and the body fixing member (2). In said embodiment, the intermediate body (3) has at least one intermediate body threaded portion (31) positioned in the body threaded portion (13). After the intermediate body threaded portion (31) is positioned in a way to correspond to the body threaded portion (13), the intermediate body (3) is fixed on the body (1) as a result of said intermediate body (3) being turned. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the intermediate body (3) has at least one intermediate body fixing member seat (34), which is to enable said intermediate body (3) to be fixed in the body housing (K3), as a result of the body fixing member (2) being positioned via the upper portion of the surface where toilet lid is positioned (Kll) and being turned after said intermediate body (3) is positioned in said body housing (K3) via the lower portion of the surface where toilet lid is positioned (K12). In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the intermediate body (3) has at least one intermediate body different-diameter portion (33), which has a structure suitable for penetrating the body housing (K3), and at least one intermediate body abutment surface (32), which abuts the lower portion of the surface where toilet lid is positioned (K12) when said intermediate body different-diameter portion (33) penetrates said body housing (K3) and which prevents said intermediate body (3) from advancing, as a result of the body fixing member (2) being turned, towards the surface where toilet lid is positioned (KI), and which thus enables said intermediate body (3), and hence, the body (1) where said intermediate body (3) has been fixed, to be fixed in said body housing (K3). In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the intermediate body (3) has at least one intermediate body middle gap (35), which is intended to permit access to the adapter (5) inside the body (1) after the mounting in the body housing (K3).
