Abstract

A setup change work assistance system 10 according to the present invention comprises a designation device 130 and a management device 140. The designation device 130 designates component identification information pertaining to components 2. An information presence assessment unit 144 of the management device 140 assesses whether there is association information in which there is an association between the component identification information designated by the designation device 130 and feeder identification information pertaining to a feeder 30 suitable for the component 2 . In cases in which there is association information, a first feeder guide unit 141 of the management device 140 guides the location of the feeder 30 associated with the component 2 for which the component identification information is designated. When no association information exists, a feeder presence assessment unit 144 of the management device 140 assesses whether or not a feeder 30 to which the component 2 can be assembled is present. In cases in which there is a feeder 30 to which the component 2 can be assembled, a second feeder guide unit 141 of the management device 140 guides the location of the feeder 30 to which the component 2 can be assembled.

Claims

1. A system for supporting setup changes, comprising: a feeder storage device for storing multiple feeders for supplying parts; a designation device for designating part identification information of the parts; and a management device that is communicably connected to the feeder storage device and the designation device, wherein the management device includes: an information presence / absence determination unit for determining whether there is association information recorded by associating the part identification information designated by the designation device for the parts with the feeder identification information of a feeder suitable for the parts; a first feeder guide unit for guiding the location of the feeder associated with the part for which the part identification information is designated when the information presence / absence determination unit determines that there is association information; a feeder presence / absence determination unit for determining whether there is a feeder capable of assembling the parts when the information presence / absence determination unit determines that there is no association information; and a second feeder guide unit for guiding the location of the feeder capable of assembling the parts when the feeder presence / absence determination unit determines that there is a feeder capable of assembling the parts.

2. When the feeder presence / absence determination unit determines that there are multiple feeders to which the component can be assembled, the second feeder guide unit guides the location of the feeder with the highest guidance priority, the setup changeover support system according to claim 1.

3. When the feeder presence / absence determination unit determines that there are multiple feeders to which the component can be assembled, the second feeder guide unit guides the location of the multiple feeders along with priority information for the multiple feeders, the setup changeover support system according to claim 1.

4. The setup changeover support system according to claim 1, wherein, when there are multiple production lines using the part, the second feeder guide unit can set a priority for guidance for each of the multiple production lines.

In the case where multiple feeder storage devices are installed, the second feeder guide unit preferentially guides the user to the location of the feeder stored in the feeder storage device that has the shortest path for the worker from a predetermined reference position among the multiple feeder storage devices, the setup changeover support system according to claim 2.

The setup changeover support system according to claim 1, wherein if the feeder presence / absence determination unit determines that there is no feeder capable of assembling the part, the second feeder guide unit provides guidance indicating that there is no feeder capable of assembling the part.

The feeder storage device has a plurality of slots for holding a plurality of feeders so that they can be inserted and removed, the management device includes an insertion / removal state determination unit that determines whether or not a feeder capable of assembling the component has been removed from the slot of the feeder storage device, and when the insertion / removal state determination unit determines that a feeder capable of assembling the component has been removed from the slot, the second feeder guide unit terminates the guidance of the location of the feeder capable of assembling the component, the setup change support system according to any one of claims 1 to 6.

The setup changeover support system according to claim 7, wherein the second feeder guide is a light-emitting means provided by the feeder storage device for each of the plurality of slots, and the light-emitting means indicates the location of the feeder that can be assembled to the component by lighting up.

The setup changeover support system according to claim 7, wherein the first feeder guide unit and the second feeder guide unit are display devices having a display screen, and the display device displays on the display screen the position of the feeder associated with the component or the feeder storage device that stores the feeder to which the component can be assembled.

A method for assisting a changeover in a system comprising: a feeder storage device for storing a plurality of feeders for supplying parts; a designation device for designating part identification information of the parts; and a management device communicably connected to the feeder storage device and the designation device, the method comprising: an information presence / absence determination step for determining whether there is association information recorded in association with the part identification information designated by the designation device for the parts and the feeder identification information of a feeder suitable for the parts; a first feeder guidance step for guiding the location of the feeder associated with the part designated by the part identification information if it is determined that the association information exists; a feeder presence / absence determination step for determining whether there is a feeder capable of assembling the parts if it is determined that there is no association information; and a second feeder guidance step for guiding the location of the feeder capable of assembling the parts if it is determined that there is a feeder capable of assembling the parts.
