Description

Textile machine, arrangement of a self-propelled vehicle for transporting a transport container with such a textile machine, and method for operating such an arrangementDescription

[0001] The invention relates to a textile machine for spinning preparation, an arrangement of a self-propelled vehicle for transporting a transport container with such a textile machine, and a method for operating such an arrangement.

[0002] In spinning preparation, textile fibers are prepared for the spinning process. In this process, the fibers are separated, parallelized, and combined into fiber slivers in several steps. After individual processing steps, the fiber slivers are deposited in cycloidal fashion in transport containers, that can also be called transport cans, by means of fiber sliver depositing unit in order to transport the fiber slivers from one processing station to another processing station. The transport cans are fed to the fiber sliver depositing unit as empty cans before filling and, after filling, are transported as filled cans from the fiber sliver depositing unit to the next processing device. In order to make the change from a filled can to an empty can as time-efficient as possible and to avoid possible idle times, the empty cans are positioned at waiting positions of the fiber sliver depositing unit. When the transport can reaches its maximum filling level, this filled can is moved from the filling position. At the same time, the empty can is moved from the waiting position to the filling position.

[0003] Self-propelled vehicles are known for moving transport cans to the fiber sliver depositing unit or from the fiber sliver depositing unit to the next processing device. For example, DE 10 2022 111 675 A1 discloses a self-propelled vehicle for transporting a transport can, which is integrated into the transport can. The vehicle has an electrical energy storage and a charging interface for charging the energy storage at an external charging station.

[0004] The task of the present invention is to provide a textile machine that enables time-efficient charging of a self-propelled vehicle for transporting a transport can. It is also the task of the invention to provide a corresponding arrangement of a self-propelled vehicle for transporting a transport can with such a textile machine, as well as a method for operating the arrangement.

[0005] To solve this problem, a textile machine is proposed, comprising: a fiber sliver depositing unit for depositing a fiber sliver into a transport container, which is arranged at a filling position; a travel path on which a self-propelled vehicle for transporting the transport container can be moved from a waiting position to the filling position; and a charging station designed to charge an energy storage of the self-propelled vehicle when the self-propelled vehicle is positioned at the waiting position.

[0006] The textile machine according to the invention has the advantage that the waiting position is assigned to the textile machine and the charging station can charge the energy storage of the self-propelled vehicle while the vehicle otherwise remains unproductive at the waiting position of the textile machine in order to be filled at the filling position when the preceding can has been fully filled. The textile machine thus enables the conversion of unproductive waiting time into effective charging time. The transport can can thus be utilized more efficiently in terms of time, as separate charging stops at external charging stations and the corresponding travel path to them can be eliminated.

[0007] In one possible embodiment of the textile machine, a fiber sliver processing unit for processing the fiber sliver in a transport direction of the fiber sliver may be arranged in front of the fiber sliver depositing unit. The fiber sliver processing unit may be a card, a draw frame, a combing machine, or a web winding machine. The fiber sliver processing unit can feed the processed fiber sliver to the fiber sliver depositing unit at an adjustable or controllable conveying speed.

[0008] In one possible embodiment, the fiber sliver depositing unit may comprise a rotatably driven coiler plate which is arranged vertically above a similarly rotatably driven can turntable. The transport can is positionable on the can turntable during the deposition of the fiber sliver in the transport can. Thus, the filling position is located on the can turntable. The coiler plate and the can turntable can each be driven in dependence on the conveyor speed in such a way that the fiber sliver is placed in cycloids in the transport can.

[0009] In one possible embodiment, the travel path can be formed at least in sections by a base of a machine frame. For example, the machine frame can support the fiber sliver depositing unit and / or a drawing unit. The travel path can be formed at least in sections by a substantially flat surface of the base. The travel path can additionally be formed in sections by ramps of the base.

[0010] In one possible embodiment, the charging station may be connected to the machine frame. In other words, the charging station may be integrated into the machine frame. In particular, the charging station may be attached to the base of the machine frame and / or integrated into the base. It is also conceivable that the charging station is integrated into a housing of the machine frame. The waiting position may be arranged on the base of the machine frame.

[0011] In one possible embodiment, the travel path may be formed at least in sections by an installation surface on which the textile machine can be positioned. The installation surface can be the floor of a spinning mill. In this case, the waiting position can be arranged on the installation surface. The shortest distance between the waiting position and the machine frame can be less than or equal to the clear width of the travel path in the area of the base of the machine frame.

[0012] In one possible embodiment, the waiting position can alternatively be arranged on the base of the machine frame or the installation surface, whereby the shortest distance between the waiting position and the machine frame can be less than or equal to a clear width of the travel path in the area of the base of the machine frame. In particular, the shortest distance between the waiting position and the machine frame may be equal to half the clear width of the travel path in the area of the bottom of the machine frame.

[0013] In one possible embodiment, the waiting position and the filling position can each be marked by a position marker. The position marker can be detected by a sensor system of the self-propelled vehicle. The position marker can, for example, be designed as a graphic marker or as an RFID transponder.

[0014] In one possible embodiment, the charging station may have an electrical charging contact element that is contactable to a charging interface of the self-propelled vehicle. The charging station or the electrical charging contact element may be connectable to an electrical network. The charging contact element may be spring-mounted in a housing of the charging station.

[0015] Alternatively or in combination, the charging contact element can be mounted in the housing of the charging station in a movable manner. In particular, the charging contact element can be mounted in the housing so that it can be moved toward and away from the waiting position. It is also conceivable that the charging contact element is mounted in the housing of the charging station in such a way that the charging contact element is movable transversely, in particular orthogonally, to the travel path. Thus, the charging contact element can be moved vertically from below towards the charging interface when the self-propelled vehicle is positioned in the waiting position. The charging contact element may comprise one or more contact pins that can contact complementary charging contacts of the charging interface. In particular, the contact pins may engage in complementary recesses of the charging interface.

[0016] In one possible embodiment, the travel path may comprise cleaning openings which are arranged around the waiting position and are fluidically connected to a suction system.

[0017] Furthermore, an arrangement of a self-propelled vehicle for transporting a transport container and a textile machine according to a previously described design is proposed to solve the problem.

[0018] The self-propelled vehicle may have at least one drive wheel and at least one support wheel, by means of which the self-propelled vehicle can be moved over a surface. The support wheel may also be referred to as a steering wheel. The self-propelled vehicle may have a drive unit in the form of an electric motor that drives the at least one drive wheel. The self-propelled vehicle may have an energy storage, for example a battery. The energy storage may be electrically connected to the drive unit. The energy storage may be electrically connected to the charging interface, either directly or indirectly via an on-board charger.

[0019] In one possible embodiment, the transport container may be placed on top of or attached to the self-propelled vehicle. In an alternative embodiment, the self-propelled vehicle may be integrated into a bottom-side end section of the transport container.

[0020] In addition, a method for operating the arrangement in a previously described configuration is proposed to solve the task, comprising the steps of: moving the self-propelled vehicle to the waiting position of the textile machine; charging the energy storage of the self-driving vehicle by means of the charging station while the self-driving vehicle is positioned at the waiting position; moving the self-driving vehicle from the waiting position to the filling position; depositing the fiber sliver into the transport container while the self-driving vehicle is positioned at the filling position. In one possible embodiment of the method, to charge the energy storage of the self-propelled vehicle, the charging contact element of the charging station can be moved until the charging contact element makes contact with the charging interface of the self-propelled vehicle. The movement can be in the direction of the waiting position or in a vertical direction away from the base of the machine frame.

[0021] Alternatively, or in combination, to charge the energy storage of the self-driving vehicle, the self-driving vehicle can be moved toward the charging station until the charging interface contacts the charging contact element of the charging station.

[0022] In one possible embodiment of the method, the movement of the self-propelled vehicle to the waiting position and / or the movement of the self-propelled vehicle from the waiting position to the filling position can be controlled by a central control system. The central control system can be configured to control or coordinate the movement of several self-propelled vehicles. The central control system can transmit control commands to the self-propelled vehicle for this purpose when a position marker, for example a marker for the waiting position or the filling position, has been detected by the sensor system of the self-propelled vehicle. The control commands may include rotation of the self-propelled vehicle about its vertical axis, translation of the self-propelled vehicle along the longitudinal axis (forward / reverse) , a combination of rotation and translation, or a sequence of rotation and translation. In addition, the sequence may include waiting times.

[0023] The figures below describe a possible embodiment of the textile machine according to the invention, an arrangement of a self-propelled vehicle for transporting a transport container with such a textile machine, and a method for operating the arrangement.

[0035] Figures 1 to 5, which are described together below, show a textile machine 1 according to the invention in a first embodiment, which is set up on an installation surface 38 respectively on the floor of a spinning mill. The textile machine 1 comprises a fiber sliver processing unit for processing a fiber sliver 2 and a fiber sliver depositing unit 5 for depositing the fiber sliver 2 into a transport can 25. The transport can is also known as transport container. The fiber sliver processing unit produces or processes the fiber sliver 2 and conveys it at an adjustable conveying speed in the direction of the fiber sliver depositing unit 5. For the sake of clarity, only one fiber sliver depositing unit 5 is shown in Figures 1 and 2, while the fiber sliver processing unit is not shown. The fiber sliver processing unit can be designed, for example, as a carding machine, a draw frame, a combing machine, or a sliver winder.

[0036] The fiber sliver depositing unit 5 comprises a roller 6 which guides the fiber sliver 2 in a known manner to a rotatable coiler plate which is arranged vertically above a can turntable 10 which is also rotatably driven. The coiler plate is formed on the underside of the fiber sliver depositing unit 5 and is thus covered in each of the figures by a hood of the fiber sliver depositing unit 5. A transport can, which can be referred to as a filled can 25 regardless of the actual degree of filling, is positioned on the can turntable 10 during the depositing of the fiber sliver 2. A filling position 14 is defined on the can turntable 10, overlapping the axis of rotation of the can turntable 10, which is marked by a filling position marking. The coiler plate and the can turntable 10 can each be driven in dependence on the conveyor speed in such a way that the fiber sliver is deposited in a cycloidal shape in the transport can 25.

[0037] The transport cans 24, 25 have, in a known manner, a cylindrical storage space that is open vertically at the top and delimited vertically at the bottom by a spring-mounted base plate. As the transport can 24, 25 is filled with fiber sliver 2, the bottom plate of the transport can 24, 25 is moved vertically downward by the weight of the fiber sliver 2 against the spring force.

[0038] The transport cans are moved as empty cans 24 by a self-propelled vehicle 26 to the filling position and, after filling, as filled cans 25 away from the filling position 14. In the present case, the self-propelled vehicle 26 is integrated into a bottom end section of the transport cans 24, 25. However, it is also conceivable that the transport container 24, 25 is placed on or connected to a corresponding self-propelled vehicle.

[0039] The self-propelled vehicle 26 has two drive wheels 28 that can be driven independently of each other by a drive unit 27 designed as a motor. The drive axle of the drive wheels 28 runs essentially horizontally in each case. The self-propelled vehicle 26 also has four support wheels 29, two of which are arranged in the area of the front of the vehicle and two in the area of the rear of the vehicle. The support wheels 29 are each mounted on a chassis of the self-propelled vehicle 26 so that they can pivot about a pivot axis, with the pivot axis being aligned orthogonally to the drive axes of the drive wheels 28. The self-propelled vehicle 26 is thus designed to perform a translational movement along a longitudinal axis, a rotational movement about a vertical axis, and a combined translational-rotational movement. At least some of the support wheels 29 may be mounted resiliently in the direction of the pivot axis.

[0040] The self-propelled vehicle 26 further comprises an energy storage 30 which can supply the drive unit 27 with energy. The energy storage 30 is designed as a battery and is connected to a charging interface 31 via an on-board charger. The charging interface 31 is located on the outer circumference of the self-propelled vehicle 26 in the rear area.

[0041] The textile machine 1 comprises a charging station 21, which is designed to charge the energy storage 30 of the self-propelled vehicle 26 and is connected to a power grid. For this purpose, the charging station 21 has a charging contact element 23 that is designed to be complementary to the charging interface 31. In the present example, the charging contact element 23 has two connection pins 43 that can engage in complementary recesses in the charging interface 31. The connection pins 43 are spring-mounted on the charging contact element 23.

[0042] The charging contact element 23 is movably and, in particular, resiliently mounted in a housing 22 of the charging station 21. In the present case, the charging contact element 23 can be moved parallel to the surface of the travel path, as can be seen from a combined view of Figures 2, 3 and 4. It is understood that touch protection for the charging contact elements 23 may be provided to prevent human contact with the charging contact elements 23, in particular when the charging contact element 23 and the charging interface 31 are connected. The charging station 21 may comprise power electronics that replace the on-board charger of the self-propelled vehicle 26.

[0043] The charging station 21 is movably attached to the machine frame 7. The charging station 21 is firmly connected to or integrated into a thrust element 20 of a displacement mechanism 18 of the machine frame 7. The displacement mechanism 18 is configured to move a transport can parallel to the travel path 11 described in detail below in the direction towards the filling position 14. For this purpose, the displacement mechanism 18 has a linear actuator 18 to which the thrust element 20 is firmly connected. The thrust element 20 can be moved by the linear actuator 18 in the direction of the filling position 14. The displacement mechanism 18 is also designed to move a filled can 25 away from the filling position 14. For this purpose, the displacement mechanism 18 has a further thrust element, not shown here, which can be displaced parallel to the thrust element 20.

[0044] The textile machine 1 of Figures 1 to 5 includes a machine frame 7, which comprises a support arrangement 8 for supporting the part of the fiber sliver depositing unit 5 arranged above the can turntable 10, and a base. In the present case, the base has a base element 9 as well as an access ramp 15 and an exit ramp 16. The access ramp 15 and the exit ramp 16 are each arranged on one side of the base element 9 in order to compensate for a difference in height between the installation surface 38 and a surface of the base element 9.

[0045] The surface of the base element 9, together with the surface of the access ramp 15 and the exit ramp 16, forms a travel path 11 on which the self-propelled vehicle 26 is movable to transport the transport cans. The route along which the vehicle 26 is to move is marked with a track 17 that can be detected by a sensor system 32 of the self-propelled vehicle 26. The sensor system 32 is arranged in the front area of the self-propelled vehicle 26.

[0046] The track 17 consists of a plurality of straight sections. The track 17 can, for example, be a graphic marking on the surface of the base or a magnetic tape. Markings of various positions are provided at defined waypoints of the track 17. In addition to the filling position 14 described above, these are, in the present case, a first turning position 12, a waiting position 13, a second turning position 39, a drive-in position 40, and a drive-out position 41. The markings can be detected by the sensor system 32 of the self-propelled vehicle 27.

[0047] In the present example, the markings are designed as RFID transponders. The sensor system 32 comprises a corresponding RFID reader. The self-propelled vehicle 26 is moved along track 17 until an RFID transponder is passed over by the RFID reader. The self-propelled vehicle 26 continues the previous movement until it is positioned centrally above the marking. The self-propelled vehicle 26 establishes a wireless connection to a central control system 37 and communicates an identification code read from the RFID transponder to it. Based on this identification code, the central control system 37 sends a movement command or a sequence of movement commands to the self-propelled vehicle 26, which are then processed by the vehicle. The movement commands may include instructions for rotational movement by a certain angle, translational movement to the next marker, waiting times or a sequence of said movement commands.

[0048] Specifically, in the present example, the self-propelled vehicle 26 first drives up the access ramp 15 along track 17 on travel path 11 and onto base element 9. The sensor system 32 detects the magnetic tape and can independently counteract any deviations from track 17. The self-propelled vehicle 26 then drives over the marking of the first turning position 12. The sensor system 32 reads the identification code of the first turning position marking with the RFID reader, and sends the identification code to the central control system 37.

[0049] The central control system 37 then instructs the self-propelled vehicle 26 at the first turning position marker to perform a 90-degree clockwise turn followed by a reverse maneuver. The self-propelled vehicle 26 executes these commands and then detects the waiting position marker 13. There, the self-propelled vehicle 26 receives the command from the central control system 37 to wait. At the same time, the central control system 37 moves the charging contact element 23 toward the charging interface 31 of the vehicle 26 until it makes contact and the energy storage 30 is charged.

[0050] Alternatively, it is conceivable that the marking of the waiting position 13 could be dispensed with. Instead, the self-propelled vehicle 26 moves from the first turning position marker in reverse until the charging interface 31 comes into contact with the charging contact element 23. In this case, the charging contact element 23 can be mounted immovably or resiliently on the housing 22.

[0051] The transport can 24 remains at the waiting position 13 until the transport can 25 in front is completely filled. Once the transport can 25 in front has been filled, the displacement mechanism 18 is activated by a control system 36 of the textile machine 1 or the central control system 37, and the linear actuator 19 moves the thrust element 20 together with the transport can 24 in the direction of the filling position 14. The displacement distance is selected to be large enough that the sensor system 32 can detect the marking of the drive-in position 40. At the drive-in position 40, the self-propelled vehicle 26 receives a command from the central control system 37 to move forward to the next mark –in this case, the mark for the filling position 14. The self-propelled vehicle 26 then moves to the filling position 14, disconnecting the contact between the charging contact element 23 and the interface 31.

[0052] The displacement mechanism 18 moves the completed filled cans 25 toward the drive-out position 41 using the additional thrust element, which is not shown here. The thrust element 20 and the additional thrust element are spaced apart from each other in such a way that contact between the empty can 24 and the filled can 25 is avoided. The displacement distance is selected to be large enough that the filled can 25 is able detect the marking of the drive-out position 41. At the drive-out position 41, the self-propelled vehicle 26 receives a command from the central control system 37 to drive forward to the next marking –in this case, the marking of the second turning position 39.

[0053] The self-propelled vehicle 26 then drives over the marking for the second turning position 39 with the sensor system 32, reads the identification code of the second turning position marking with the RFID reader, and sends the corresponding identification code to the central control system 37. The central control system 37 then informs the self-propelled vehicle 26 at the first turning position marker that a 90-degree clockwise turn followed by forward travel is to be performed. The self-propelled vehicle 26 can thus leave the travel path 11 down the exit ramp 16. The displacement mechanism 18 is moved to its initial position so that a new empty can 24 can be moved toward the waiting position.

[0054] Figure 9 shows an alternative design and arrangement of the charging station 21 and the charging interface 31. The charging station 21 is integrated into the base element 9. The charging contact element 23 can be moved in a direction transverse, in particular orthogonal, to the travel path 11 respectively the corresponding surface of the base element 9. The charging interface 31 is arranged on an underside in the rear area of the self-propelled vehicle 26. The charging contact element 23 can thus be moved from the surface of the base element 9 toward the charging interface 31 until the charging contact element 23 and the charging interface 31 are connected to each other. It is understood that this alternative design of the charging station 21 and the charging interface 31 can be used for all embodiments of the textile machine 1 disclosed herein.

[0055] Figures 6 and 7, which are described together below, show a textile machine 1 according to the invention in a second embodiment, which is set up on an installation surface 38 of a spinning mill. The textile machine 1 is designed as a double-head draw frame and comprises a first fiber sliver processing unit 3 and a second fiber sliver processing unit 3', each in the form of a draw frame 4, which are arranged next to each other in a known manner and connected to each other via a platform 35. Each fiber sliver processing unit 3, 3' has a fiber sliver depositing unit 5 for depositing the fiber sliver into a transport can. The respective draw frame processes the associated fiber sliver and conveys it at an adjustable conveying speed in the direction of the fiber sliver depositing unit 5. The first fiber sliver processing unit 3 and the second fiber sliver processing unit 3' are essentially symmetrical to each other. Therefore, the structure of the double-head section is explained below using the first fiber sliver processing unit 3 as an example.

[0056] The fiber sliver depositing unit 5 is designed analogously to the embodiment shown in Figures 1 to 5, whereby the coiler plate is also covered here by a hood of the fiber sliver depositing unit 5. In the second embodiment, the transport cans 24, 25 with the self-propelled vehicles 26 and the charging station 21 of the first embodiment are used. In this regard, reference is therefore made briefly to the explanations in the context of Figures 1 to 5, to avoid repetition.

[0057] The textile machine 1 in the second embodiment comprises a machine frame 7, which comprises a support arrangement 8 for supporting the fiber sliver processing unit 3 and the part of the fiber sliver depositing unit 5 arranged above the can turntable 10, as well as a base. In the second embodiment, the charging station 21 is firmly connected to the machine frame 7. In this case, the base has a base element 9 that is flush with the installation surface 38. The surface of the base element 9 forms the travel path 11 on which the self-propelled vehicle 26 can move to transport the transport cans. The route along which the vehicle 26 is to move is marked with a track 17 as described above and has markings for the first turning position 12, the waiting position 13, the filling position 14, and the drive-out position 41. The markings designed in accordance with the first embodiment can be detected by the sensor system 32 of the self-propelled vehicle 27. As explained in the context of the first embodiment, the self-propelled vehicle 26 is moved along the track 17 using the identification codes.

[0058] Specifically, in the present example, the self-propelled vehicle 26 travels along the travel path 11 over an opening on the long side of the machine frame 7 onto the base element 9. The sensor system 32 detects the magnetic tape 17. The self-propelled vehicle 26 then drives over the marking of the first turning position 12 with the sensor system 32, reads the identification code of the first turning position marking with the RFID reader, and sends the identification code to the central control system 37. The central control system 37 then informs the self-propelled vehicle 26 at the first turning position marking that a 90-degree counterclockwise turn followed by a wait is to be performed. In the present case, the first turning position 12 and the waiting position 13 therefore coincide. The waiting position 13 is arranged on the base element 9. The central control system 37 and / or the control system 36 of the textile machine 1 then moves the charging contact element 23 of the charging station 21 toward the charging interface 31 until they make contact and the energy storage 30 is charged.

[0059] The transport can 24 remains in the waiting position 13 until the transport can 25 in front of it is completely filled. Once the transport can 25 in front of it has been filled, the control system 36 of the textile machine 1 sends a signal to the central control system 37 indicating that the filling process is complete. The central control system 37 then sends a movement command "Forward movement to the next mark" to the empty can 24 and the filled can 25 respectively. The filled can 25 is thus moved down the can turntable 10 and replaced by the empty can 24.

[0060] With the second embodiment, a displacement mechanism 18 is therefore not required. However, it is also conceivable that the second embodiment is equipped with a displacement mechanism 18 and that the can change is carried out in the same way as in the first embodiment, with the additional provision of a marking for the drive-in position 40.

[0061] Finally, the self-propelled vehicle 26 travels along the travel path 11 through an opening in the machine frame 7, which is arranged on one end face.

[0062] It can be seen from Figure 7 together with Figure 9 that a cleaning system 33 is integrated into the base element 9 in the area of the waiting position 13. Several cleaning openings 34 are provided around the waiting position 13, which are fluidically connected to a central suction system 42. When the empty can 24 is positioned on the waiting position 13, the energy storage 30 can be charged and, at the same time, the empty can 24 can be sucked from below. Suctioning removes dirt from the wheels that could cause them to jam.

[0063] In Figure 8, a first textile machine 1 according to the invention and a second textile machine 1'according to the invention are arranged in a parallel arrangement with each other, each of which is designed in a third embodiment. The third embodiment differs from the second embodiment only in the positioning of the waiting position 13 and the charging station 21. In this respect, reference is made to the above descriptions in the context of the second embodiment for the similarities.

[0064] In the third embodiment of the textile machine 1, the travel path 11 extends over the base element 9 and the installation surface 38. The waiting position 13 is located on the installation surface 38. The shortest distance between the waiting position 13 and the machine frame 7 is at most the clear width B of the travel path 11 in the area of the base element 9 of the machine frame 7. Specifically, the distance between the waiting position 13 and the machine frame 7 is half the clear width B of the travel path 11 in the area of the base element 9 of the machine frame 7. The charging station 21 is positioned so that contact between the charging contact element 23 and the charging interface 31 can be established when the empty can 24 is placed on the waiting position 13.

[0065] The clear width B of the travel path 11 is marked only in Figure 6 for clarity. The clear width B describes the maximum width of a body that can be moved along the track 17 via the travel path 11 in the area of the base element 9. The clear width B can therefore also be referred to as the maximum passage width. The opening on the long side and the opening on the front side of the machine frame 7 have at least a width corresponding to the clear width B.

[0066] An aisle is formed between the first textile machine 1 and the second textile machine 1', which has a width at least corresponding to the clear width B. A waiting position 13' is arranged in the aisle, on which the empty cans of the second fiber sliver processing unit 3' of the first textile machine 1 and the first fiber sliver processing unit 3 of the second textile machine can be positioned. A charging station 21' is positioned so that contact can be established between the charging contact element 23 of the charging station 21' and the charging interface 31 of the empty can 24 when the empty can 24 is positioned on the waiting position 13'.

[0067] For this purpose, the charging contact elements 23 can be moved by the control system 36 of the first textile machine 1 and / or by the control system 36 of the second textile machine 1'. In other words, the three charging stations are connected to the control system of one or more of the textile machines. It is also conceivable that the charging station is connected directly to the central control system 37.

[0068] Figure 10 shows a method for operating an arrangement of a self-propelled vehicle for transporting a transport container and a textile machine described above. Starting from a start S of the method, in a process step V10, the self-propelled vehicle 26 is moved to the waiting position 13 of the textile machine.

[0069] While the self-propelled vehicle 26 is positioned at the waiting position 13, the energy storage 30 of the self-propelled vehicle 27 is charged by means of the charging station 21 in a process step V20. To charge the energy storage 30, the charging contact element 23 of the charging station 21 can be moved toward the waiting position 13 until the charging contact element 23 makes contact with the charging interface 31 of the self-propelled vehicle 27. Alternatively, or in combination, the self-propelled vehicle 26 can be moved toward the charging station 21 until the charging interface 31 contacts the charging contact element 23 of the charging station 21 in order to charge the energy storage 30 of the self-propelled vehicle 27.

[0070] This is followed by the movement of the self-propelled vehicle 27 from the waiting position 13 to the filling position 14 in a process step V30. While the self-propelled vehicle 26 is positioned at the filling position 14, the fiber sliver is placed in the transport container in a process step V40. In step V50, the self-propelled vehicle 26 is moved away from the filling position 14 when the transport container is completely filled.

[0071] The movement of the self-propelled vehicle 27 to the waiting position 13 in step V10, the movement of the self-propelled vehicle 27 from the waiting position 13 to the filling position 14, and / or the movement of the self-propelled vehicle 27 away from the filling position 14 is initiated by the central control system 37.

[0072] The method also comprises the method steps described in the context of Figures 1 to 9.Reference signs
