Abstract

The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing at least a part of a sole for a shoe. The method comprises (a) providing a carrier layer; (b) arranging a yarn or multiple yarns on the carrier layer, such that the yarn or the multiple yarns essentially define the shape of the part of the sole of the shoe; and (c) sewing the yarn or at least one of the multiple yarns to the carrier layer.
