1 / 7 DISPOSITION INTRODUCED IN LIFELINE SUPPORT WITH ENERGY ABSORBER
[001] This utility model relates to a new model of Lifeline Support with Energy Absorber, which is a device composed of an interface support with an attached energy absorber, to be used with steel cables, clamps, thimbles and a certified anchor eye. The support will be used in a fall arrest system, with a self-drilling screw type fastening element to be fixed on roofs and coverings of all types. For safe access, the duly trained employee must be carrying a compatible connecting element such as a lanyard with energy absorber or retractable fall arrestor and a full-body harness. [002] The Lifeline Support with Energy Absorber, object of the present utility model, is applied to roofing systems with metal tiles with channels and channel cap, to be used with steel cables, clamps, thimbles and anchor eye certified as a safety element to perform work at height and at the same time protect the roof structure. PURPOSE OF THE UTILITY MODEL

Among these documents, the following can be highlighted:

[008] Patent document BR 102017027223-0, ANCHORING SYSTEM FOR LIFELINE ON ROOFS WITH TRAPEZOIDAL OR ZIPPED TILES, where the present invention reports an anchoring system for a lifeline on roofs with trapezoidal or zipped tiles, consisting of a base with two parallel bars, each containing two trapezoidal projections and equipped with holes that will allow its fixation on the trapezoidal tile roof by means of screws or adhesive. Each trapezoidal projection receives a hole for fixing two bars, which contain an oblong cut at each end and a hole in the middle, forming an x, and the beam, which contains an oblong cut at each end, which connects the two bars transversely. [014] The Lifeline Support with Energy Absorber (1) comprises: a reinforced metal base (2) for direct fixing to the trapezoidal roof tile or fixed to an interface support for zipped roof tiles; a metal cylinder body (3) with an internal energy absorption system, composed of a central steel rod (4) with threaded ends (5), supported by a bushing (9) and washer (10), containing inside a steel spring and PU round bar (6), and a mounting fixing cover (11); also comprising a certified anchor eye (7) for steel cables fixed to one end of the cylinder and another certified anchor eye (8) for steel cables fixed to one end of the steel rod (4); where the elements working together absorb energy in case of a fall, mitigating the shock that the person could receive in that case, preventing damage to the person's body structure. OPERATION AND USE OF THE UTILITY MODEL
