AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Conventional pin holders for room men's bonds often fall out of pant pockets during inversion, such as when the leg is raised, due to insufficient retention mechanisms.

Method used

A pin holder designed with an inner shell that provides sufficient friction to securely hold pins of any length, combined with a manual release mechanism, and made from materials like plastic with high temperature resistance and metals.

Benefits of technology

The pin holder effectively prevents the pin from falling out of the pant pocket during normal use and inversion, ensuring the pin is securely held and easily retrievable.

Abstract

The carpenter's pencil holder is characterized by the fact that, by means of the narrow projections (11) which extend from bottom to top (inside) through the shaft (12), it holds the pencil (8) to be carried therein by means of slight but sufficient friction and the compressive strength of the material from which the holder is made. The pencil (8) can, however, be pulled out by hand without tools.

Description

[0001] Normally, every carpenter's pencil, whether on a construction site, in industry, or for private use, is always kept in a trouser pocket. However, this pencil falls out when the pocket is turned inside out. such as when the leg is lifted when taking a big step out of the trouser pocket. However, this pen holder will hold any length of pen.

[0002] The inner shell of the pen holder is designed to provide sufficient friction to fulfill the function of holding as well as manual release.

[0003] Exact application steps are described in the application Materials:

[0004] Plastics with a temperature resistance of at least over 60°C, metals such as aluminum, cast iron, metal alloys and other solid materials. Scope:

[0005] Industry, crafts, private use Size:

[0006] The size of the object is variable to accommodate different pen sizes or adaptations to practical uses that may arise in the future.

[0007] The handle is variable in width, as long as the original idea as well as the basic function of the ZSH must not be disregarded. Application 1. Pen tips 2. Insert the pen into the hollow of the pen holder (as shown on page 8 / 8) 3. Attach the pen holder to the pen in your trouser pocket 4. The clip of the pen holder should hang on something that prevents possible slipping (e.g. fabric) 5. Remove from your pocket for use and put back after use to avoid losing the pen and the ZSH. Claims

[1] The carpenter’s pencil holder is characterized by By means of the narrow protrusions (11) that extend from bottom to top (inside) along the shaft (12), it holds the pencil (8) in place through slight but sufficient friction and the compressive strength of the material of which the ZSH is made. However, the pencil (8) can be removed manually and without tools. [2] The Zimmermans pen holder is characterized by that the clip (7) which is attached to the top part of the ZSH at the back (2) leads with a curved shape to the back (2) of the main body of the ZSH from the top part (5) to 17mm away from the bottom part (6), whereby it should also be noted that the clip tip (13) does not exceed a distance of 1.7mm (+ / -0.85mm) to the back (2). [3] The Zimmermans pen holder is characterized bythat due to the clip (7) which is slightly flexible at 3mm (measured at the clip tip (13)) and has a width of 10mm (+ / -3mm) and the wall thickness of the shaft ((12) to (3)) of 2mm (+ / - 0.5mm) there is hardly any difference in weight when using the pencil in combination with the ZSH.
