A combination writing pen and stylus is disclosed. The device has an internal ink cartridge deployable through a hole in the stylus tip. The stylus tip extends from a sleeve that is formed of a conductive elastomeric material. The sleeve extends up a rigid shaft of the device such that it contacts a sufficient ground. The stylus tip may be coated with a protective material that adjusts the coefficient of friction and prevents carbon deposits on the touch screen. A sufficient contact patch is achieved to simulate a human finger so as to overcome false positives from common touch screen logic. This is done by altering tip geometries around an air cavity within the sleeve.

An eraser is placed on or near the end of the cover of a felt tip pen. The cover is inserted into the bottom of the pen or on the bottom of the pen itself. For a tapered cover type of pen, the eraser is placed on the flat upper end. For a raised or dimple type of cover, the eraser is placed concentrically around the end away from the dimple like a girdle or belt or flat on the bottom of the pen body. A modular combination toy and desktop writing accessory apparatus comprising a plurality of structural elements each having at least one nodal connector portion to which a complementary connector portion of another structural element can be coupled. A writing implement has a first end through which a writing tip extends and a second end to which is attached a page-turning element having a multiplicity of soft, deformable protuberances to enhance its frictional grip with paper sheets. In a first embodiment, the page-turning element is configured as a conformal cap covering the second end of the barrel. If the writing implement includes a writing tip extension and retraction mechanism operated by an actuation button in the second end of the barrel, the page turning-element overlies the button so that the button is actuated through the page-turning element by an external pressure applied thereto. A biasing element between the page-turning element and the second end of the barrel assures that the pressure needed for actuation of the button is greater than that which is normally applied through use of the page-turning element, thereby minimizing the possibility of inadvertent actuation.

A writing instrument holding and retaining device comprising a wristband/bracelet (22) with one or more fasteners (24), a tether/leash (26), and a writing instrument holder (32) securing a writing instrument (30). The tether connects the writing instrument holder to the wristband. The wristband and tether may be constructed of any suitable material and may vary depending on design and aesthetic preferences. The writing instrument may also have an appropriate fastener (36). The fasteners on the wristband and on the writing instrument must be able to be attached together to secure the writing instrument to the wristband when the writing instrument is not in use. The tether (26) may also have a fastener (28), so that the tether may be kept from dangling when not in use by attaching the tether's fastener to one of the fasteners on the wristband. For each of the fasteners mentioned above (wristband, writing instrument, and tether), any suitable fastener or fastening method may be used, for example, a clip, magnet, or Velcro.

A combination solid material storage container and applicator assembly for solid materials, such as surf board wax, is disclosed. The assembly includes a symmetrical storage container member, which has an open top end, an open bottom end, and an interior surface. A pusher member is positioned inside the container member and includes a sealing lip portion, which provides a continuous seal between the pusher member and the container member interior surface.
