The electronic parking control system comprises a single chip microcomputer, a hand braking switch, an automatic parking switch, an accelerator pedal, a braking pedal, a vehicle speed sensor, an angle sensor, a front axle solenoid valve, a rear axle solenoid valve, a hand braking solenoid valve, a parking indication lamp and an automatic parking indication lamp, wherein the output ends of the hand braking switch, the automatic parking switch, the accelerator pedal, the braking pedal, the vehicle speed sensor and the angle sensor are connected with the input end of the single chip microcomputer; the output end of the single chip microcomputer is connected with the front axle solenoid valve, the rear axle solenoid valve, the hand braking solenoid valve, the parking indication lamp and the automatic parking indication lamp. The invention further discloses a control method of the electronic parking control system of the electric motor coach. The functions of decelerating and braking, parking on a slope, automatically parking and the like of the electric motor coach can be reliably realized, and a slope sliding or slipping phenomenon can be prevented; the labor intensity of a driver is reduced, and the safety, controllability and driving comfort of the vehicle are improved.
