The chapstick dispensing apparatus provides convenient use and asymmetrical, tactile geometry, aiding manual determination of the disposition of the device. The cap for the chapstick dispensing apparatus is slidably, pivotably, or hingeably attached to a housing so that no separate cap is present with its accompanying risk of loss or of being dropped. The housing is generally asymmetrical and may have an asymmetrical series of tactile protrusions to help determine the disposition or attitude of the chapstick dispensing apparatus, even though manual dexterity is limited as by gloves or mittens. A lead passageway is disposed in the barrel for passing therethrough the pencil lead in a direction toward the front end of the barrel. The lead passageway has a diameter at least twice as large as a diameter of the pencil lead. At least one lead receiving member is disposed in the barrel between the lead passageway and the knock button for receiving the pencil lead. The lead receiving member has a lead insertion hole for permitting the pencil lead to pass therethrough and a head portion having an external diameter approximately equal to an internal diameter of the barrel.

A dispenser with magnetic elements is presented. The dispenser includes a cup-shaped container having an exterior and interior surface. Magnetic elements are provided within the container wall or attached to a surface along the container. A composition fill resides within the container and is extendable there from via a rotating knob and screw arrangement or a movable plug. An optional covering, one example being a label, may be attached to the dispenser so as to contact and cover the magnetic elements.

The present invention discloses a dispenser head for mounting to a container body having a storage cavity to contain a predetermined volume of agent, wherein the dispenser head includes an inserting portion adapted for slidably inserting into the container body to communicate with the storage cavity, and a head housing defining a dispensing opening extended from the inserting portion. A dispenser for metered dosing of cream-based medicines comprising a barrel, a base having a threaded rod extending therefrom, a riser having at least one flexible seal which engages the barrel, an applicator cap having apertures therein for spreading dispensed cream onto a user's skin. A modular combination toy and desktop writing accessory apparatus comprising a plurality of structural elements each having at least one nodal connector portion to which a complementary connector portion of another structural element can be coupled. The structural elements can be assembled into a barrel-like form that is configured with a passageway for carrying a writing component of the invention. The writing component can be a pen, pencil, marker, crayon, eraser or the like. A writing instrument, which has an inner and outer writing element with separate writing medium reservoirs. The writing elements are coaxially mounted in an outer barrel and axially moveable with respect to one another. A driving mechanism may be actuated to allow a user to selectively extend one writing element. The invention provides systems and methods for a writing instrument that can be manipulated into an infinite number of shapes and configurations. The invention can be applied to relieve minor stress as well as strengthen hand muscles, rehabilitate finger and joint movement, and improve overall range of hand motion. A textured coating can be applied to the surface of each segment that gives the writing instrument a unique feel, thereby creating a pleasant sensation and feel to the hands and fingers. Segments can operate as a holder for a writing instrument body, and similarly can be arranged to provide a creative sculpture. Segments can be removed as desired by the user.
