Abstract

A battery cell for implementing controlled pressure reduction, characterized in that the battery cell comprises:a housing (100); anda cover plate (200), wherein the cover plate (200) is fixed to the housing (100), wherein the cover plate (200) is provided with an explosion-proof valve, wherein the explosion-proof valve includes an arcuate notch (201) and a connecting portion (202), wherein the ends of the arcuate notch (201) and the connecting portion (202) are connected to each other, whereby the arcuate notch (201) and the connecting portion (202) together form a circle, wherein the arcuate notch (201) and the connecting portion (202) together divide the cover plate (200) into a circular portion and an annular portion, and both the circular portion and the annular portion are connected to the connecting portion (202), wherein the wall thickness of the cover plate (200) at the arcuate notch (201) smaller than the connecting part (202).
