AI Technical Summary
Technical Problem
Multiwell plates with varying well bottom heights and inconsistent coating liquid attachment lead to variations in the amount of coating solution applied to each well, affecting the consistency of cell tissue production.
Method used
A method involving a first trial coating step to measure and adjust the depth of the coating surface, followed by iterative adjustments of the coating needle's indentation amount to achieve consistent application across multiple wells.
Benefits of technology
Reduces variations in the amount of coating solution applied, ensuring uniformity and reproducibility in cell tissue production.

Abstract
To provide a method for producing a cell tissue, capable of reducing variation in application amount among a plurality of application parts.SOLUTION: The depth of the coated surface of the first substrate for cellular tissue formation relative to the surface is measured. Prior to supply of the cellular tissue to the first substrate, a first trial application of a first application liquid is performed on at least one application part that is a part of an application surface of the first substrate (S3). In the step of performing the first trial application (S3), the first application liquid is applied to one application portion by the first pushing amount of the application needle in accordance with the depth (S3 - 1). A first measuring step (S3 - 3) of measuring the diameters of the first coating liquids is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
