Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present disclosure relates to an inspection device and a program for inspecting an item to be inspected. [Background technology]

[0002] For example, an inspection item for a gaming machine has many parts attached to the front and back of the board, such as gimmicks for effects, liquid crystal units, various boards for main control and display control, and various resin molded parts such as winning slots. These parts are inspected at the delivery stage to see if they are installed correctly. The inspection includes many items such as missing parts, missing parts, mixed-up parts, incorrect installation positions of parts, incorrect installation heights of parts, missing screws to attach parts to the gaming board, improper installation such as poor fitting of connectors, missing stickers with serial numbers, errors in serial numbers or board numbers, discoloration or uneven coloring of gimmicks for effects, and incorrect positions of gimmicks.

[0003] For inspection, cameras (image sensors) and sensors other than cameras for measuring distance, weight, etc. are used appropriately depending on the inspection item. Since there is a wide variety of inspection objects and inspection items, it is difficult to cover everything with a single camera or sensor.

[0004] A plurality of cameras and sensors are arranged along a conveyor, for example. The gaming machines transported by the conveyor are photographed and measured each time they pass by the plurality of cameras and sensors.

[0005] In addition, a stand for installing the gaming machine is provided for each camera and sensor, and an inspection worker sets the gaming machine on the stand and performs imaging, then transports the gaming machine to the next stand, resets it, and performs imaging, and repeats this process until all imaging is completed.

[0006] In either method, the imaging by the camera and the judgment process occur on separate time axes, and the judgment results are shown on the display sequentially each time the judgment process is completed, separate from the imaging.

[0007] For gaming machines that are judged to be "incorrect (defective, inappropriate, non-compliant)," the inspection worker must remove the gaming machine from its installation stand, transport it to a repair center, check the affected areas, perform repair work such as replacing or reinstalling parts as necessary, and then transport it to the re-inspection center for re-inspection, which is an extremely burdensome and inefficient process.

[0008] In the latter method, since the installation tables are separated, transporting the gaming machines and repeating the setup work on each installation table is not only a heavy workload but also inefficient. Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0009] The purpose is to improve the efficiency of the inspection work for the products to be inspected. [Means for solving the problem]

[0010] an inspection device for an item to be inspected according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a mounting table for mounting the item to be inspected, at least one camera for capturing an image of the item to be inspected mounted on the mounting table, at least one sensor which is a weight sensor, a distance sensor, a metal sensor, a non-contact resin sensor or a contact resin sensor for measuring the item to be inspected or a part thereof mounted on the mounting table, a first judgment unit for judging whether the item to be inspected is genuine based on an image captured by the camera, a second judgment unit for judging whether the item to be inspected or a part thereof is genuine based on measurement data from the sensor, a display unit for displaying the results of judgment by the first judgment unit and the second judgment unit, an operation switch for instructing the start of inspection, and a series of processes relating to imaging by the camera, judgment by the first judgment unit and displaying the results of judgment by the first judgment unit, measurement by the sensor, judgment by the second judgment unit and displaying the results of judgment by the second judgment unit, in that order when the judgment result is "false", the process is stopped at that point without proceeding to the next series of processes, and the operation of the operation switch is Wait, let's restart the test from the beginning. and a sequence control unit. [0012] Hereinafter, an inspection device for inspecting an inspected product according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The inspected products include gaming machines, electronic devices such as smartphones, mechanical products such as transmission gears, and various other products. Here, the inspected product will be described as an gaming machine.

[0013] The inspection device according to this embodiment has (1) an inspection mode using at least one camera and at least one sensor other than the camera, and (2) an inspection mode using multiple sensors other than the camera. The camera includes an imaging lens and an image sensor that receives light through the imaging lens.

[0014] As sensors other than cameras, a weight sensor, a distance sensor, a metal sensor, a non-contact resin sensor, or a contact resin sensor are typically used, but of course other sensors may be used. In this embodiment, sensors are appropriately selected according to the inspection object and inspection items, and are applied in combination.

[0015] Based on the images captured by the camera, for example, the color of the gimmick (discoloration, uneven color, etc.), the position of the gimmick, the color of the resin molded product, missing parts, missing screws for fixing parts to the board, floating connectors, partially inserted connectors, part height, missing stickers with serial numbers, missing sheet metal, etc. The images captured by the camera are also used to read two-dimensional codes such as QR codes (registered trademark) and board numbers to identify the serial numbers, etc.

[0016] The weight sensor may be a pressure sensor or a strain sensor, either of which is applied to the inspection device according to the present embodiment. Based on the measurement data of the weight sensor, for example, the inspection device inspects the molded part of the product to be inspected for missing parts.

[0017] Examples of distance sensors include laser sensors, infrared sensors, and ultrasonic sensors, any of which are applied to the inspection device according to this embodiment. Based on the measurement data of the distance sensor, for example, floating connectors, missing connectors, missing screws, missing parts, reverse installation of parts, missing springs, and reverse installation of springs are inspected.

[0018] As the metal sensor, for example, an inductive proximity sensor is applied to the inspection device according to this embodiment. Based on the measurement data of the metal sensor, for example, missing screws are inspected.

[0019] As the contact sensor, for example, a contact-type resin sensor is applied to the inspection device according to this embodiment.

[0020] As the contact-type resin sensor, for example, a micro switch is applied to the inspection device according to this embodiment. Based on the measurement data of the contact sensor, for example, molding defects, missing parts, and fitting defects of the resin molded product are inspected.

[0021] As the proximity sensor, for example, a non-contact resin sensor is applied to the inspection device according to the present embodiment. An example of the non-contact resin sensor is a capacitance type proximity sensor. Based on the measurement data of the proximity sensor, for example, molding defects, missing parts, and fitting defects of the resin molded product are inspected.

[0022] During an actual inspection, the inspection worker operates an operating switch (inspection switch) to trigger a series of processes in sequence, including capturing an image by a camera or sensor, making a judgment based on the image, and displaying the judgment result, and then measuring by a camera or sensor, making a judgment based on the measurement data, and displaying the judgment result. If the judgment result is "incorrect (non-compliant, inappropriate, defective)", the series of processes will stop at that point without proceeding to the next process, and the inspection worker will wait for the operation of the operating switch.

[0023] When the inspection stops, the inspection worker finds the cause of the error, and if it is determined to be a cause that can be solved on the spot, repairs are made there and then without moving the gaming machine. When the repairs are completed, the inspection worker operates the operation switch again. This operation restarts the inspection. Since repairs can be made on the spot, it is more efficient than transporting the gaming machine to another location for repairs.

[0024] When the inspection is restarted, it is restarted by returning to the initial series of processes. No matter at what stage the inspection is stopped, it is restarted by returning to the initial series of processes, so even if new non-conformities, improperities, or defects arise due to parts being out of position due to repair work, they can be inspected again.

[0025] Repairs and inspections can be resumed as many times as the inspection worker decides. If the malfunction is still not resolved after repairs, or if the inspection worker determines that the cause is not something that can be solved on the spot, the inspection worker will decide at that stage that the gaming machine is a non-conforming product or that specialized repairs are necessary, and will move to the appropriate location. A detailed explanation will be given below. (First embodiment) As shown in Fig. 1, the inspection device 1 is composed of an information processing device 10, a first camera 21 for imaging the front side of the gaming machine, a second camera 22 for imaging the back side of the gaming machine, a distance sensor 23 for measuring target parts such as connectors and screws on the front and back of the gaming machine and the distance between the target parts, a third camera 24 for imaging the back side of the gaming machine in close proximity, an articulated robot device 31 having the distance sensor 23 and the third camera 24 attached to the tip of its arm, an inspection switch 33 that an inspection worker operates to command the start of the inspection process, and an inspection lamp 35 for indicating whether the inspection result is correct or not by distinguishing between red / blue, etc. The cameras 21, 22, 24 are each equipped with lighting.

[0026] The information processing device 10 has a processor 11. Connected to the processor 11 via a data / control bus 19 are a random access memory (RAM) 12, a read only memory (ROM) 13, a storage device 14 such as a hard disk drive (HDD) or a solid state drive (SSD), an input device 15 such as a keyboard or a mouse, a display 16, and an interface 17. Cameras 21, 22, and 24, an articulated robot device 31, an inspection switch 33, and an inspection lamp 35 are connected to the processor 11 via the interface 17.

[0027] The processor 11 is composed of a CPU (Central Processing Unit) and a GPU (Graphics Processing Unit). The processor 11 executes an inspection program loaded from the storage device 14 to the RAM 12 to perform inspection processing of the gaming machine. The RAM 12 functions as the main memory, work area, etc. of the processor 11. The ROM 13 stores a BIOS (Basic Input Output System), an operating system program (OS), etc., which are executed by the processor 11. The storage device 14 stores various data such as the inspection program according to this embodiment, data of images captured by the cameras 21, 22, and 24, reference image data, data required for the judgment processing such as standard values and threshold values, and judgment results.

[0028] 2 shows the functional configuration of the processor 11. By executing the above-mentioned inspection program, the processor 11 functions as a control unit 101 that controls the entire information processing device, a first camera controller 121 that drives the first camera 21, a second camera controller 122 that drives the second camera 22, a sensor controller 123 that drives the distance sensor 23, a third camera controller 124 that drives the third camera 24, a robot controller 131 that controls the operation of the articulated robot device 31, a switch detection unit 133 that detects the state of the inspection switch 33, and a lamp driver 135 that drives the inspection lamp 35.

[0029] Furthermore, by executing the above-mentioned inspection program, the processor 11 functions as a storage management unit 103 that controls the writing / reading of image data, measurement data, etc. to the storage device 14, a first judgment unit 104 that judges whether the gaming machine is correct or not with respect to the inspection item in charge based on an image captured by the first camera 21, a second judgment unit 105 that judges whether the gaming machine is correct or not with respect to the inspection item in charge based on an image captured by the second camera 22, a third judgment unit 106 that judges whether the gaming machine is correct or not with respect to the inspection item in charge based on measurement data (distance data) measured by the distance sensor 23, a fourth judgment unit 107 that judges whether the gaming machine is correct or not with respect to the inspection item in charge based on an image captured by the third camera 24, a display control unit 108 that turns on the inspection lamp 35 and displays details of the judgment result on the display 16, and an inspection sequence control unit 102 that controls the first to third camera controllers 121, 122, 124, the sensor controller 123, the robot controller 131 and the lamp driver 135 in accordance with a predetermined inspection sequence.

[0030] Fig. 3 shows an installation stand for installing a gaming machine at an inspection position, together with the first to third cameras 21, 22, 24, the distance sensor 23, and the articulated robot device 31. Fig. 4 shows a state in which a gaming machine is set on an installation stand 242. The installation stand 242 has a base 245, and a support plate 243 is vertically erected on the base 245. The support plate 243 is, for example, rectangular, and has, for example, a rectangular opening 244 in its center. The gaming machine 61 is supported by the support plate 243 and installed vertically on the base 245. The base 245 is held horizontally on the stand 241, so that the gaming machine 61 is installed vertically by the support plate 243.

[0031] The first camera 21 is supported by a stand 241 via an arm (not shown) at a position where it can image the front surface of the gaming machine 61 installed vertically through the opening 244. The second camera 22 is supported by a stand 241 via an arm (not shown) at a position where it can directly image the back surface of the gaming machine 61 installed vertically.

[0032] The articulated robot device 31 is mounted on a stand 241 at a position to the side of the support plate 243, and a distance sensor 23 and a third camera 24 are attached to the tip of the arm of the articulated robot device 31. By the movement of the articulated robot device 31, the distance sensor 23 can measure the distance to the target part at any approach position and in any attitude, and the third camera 24 can take images of the front and back surfaces of the gaming machine 61 from a approach position in any attitude. An inspection switch 33 and an inspection lamp 35 are also mounted on the stand 241.

[0033] 5 and 6 show the procedure of the inspection operation by the inspection device 1. In addition, dashed lines in Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 indicate the work process by the inspection worker. The gaming machine (inspected product) 61 to be inspected is carried to the installation stand 242 by the inspection worker, and is installed on the installation stand 242 (S11). The gaming machine 61 is placed on a base 245, and is supported vertically by a support plate 243. The front surface of the installed gaming machine 61, except for its peripheral parts, is exposed through an opening 244 of the support plate 243. The back surface of the installed gaming machine 61 is exposed over its entirety.

[0034] The inspection sequence control unit 102 waits for the switch detection unit 133 to detect an operation (pressing) of the inspection switch 33 by the inspection operator (S12).

[0035] When the switch detection unit 133 detects the operation of the inspection switch 33 by the inspection operator (S12; Yes), the inspection sequence control unit 102 starts the inspection process.

[0036] The inspection sequence control unit 102 controls the first camera controller 121 to have the first camera 21 capture an image of the front side of the gaming machine 61 (S13). More specifically, under the control of the inspection sequence control unit 102, the first camera 21 repeatedly captures an image of the front side of the gaming machine 61 while, for example, changing the wavelength of the light source. In order to improve color discrimination, eight types of illumination wavelengths are switched in sequence, and imaging by the camera 21 is repeated in synchronization with the switching.

[0037] The first judgment unit 104 judges whether each of these inspection items is correct or not from the eight images with different illumination wavelengths (S14). Inspection items on the front side of the gaming machine include, for example, the color of the mechanism (gimmick) for the performance (discoloration, color unevenness, etc.), the position of the gimmick, the position of the LCD screen, etc.

[0038] When the first judgment unit 104 judges that at least one of these inspection items is incorrect (incorrect), the inspection sequence control unit 102 controls the lamp driver 135 to turn on the inspection lamp 35 in "red", and when all of these inspection items are correct (correct), the inspection sequence control unit 102 controls the lamp driver 135 to turn on the inspection lamp 35 in "blue" (S15). Although not shown, the judgment results of each of these inspection items are displayed on the display 16. When the inspection lamp 35 turns on in "red", the inspection operator can visually identify which inspection items are incorrect.

[0039] If any one of the inspection items related to the surface of the gaming machine 61 is incorrect (incorrect) (S16; NG), the inspection sequence control unit 102 stops the inspection without proceeding to the second series of processes, and waits for the operation of the inspection switch 33.

[0040] When the inspection is stopped, the inspection operator performs the following (1) or (2) according to his / her own judgment (S17).

[0041] (1) If it is determined that the game machine 61 can be repaired on the spot, the game machine 61 is repaired on the spot while remaining installed on the installation stand 242, and a reinspection is attempted. Of course, a reinspection may also be attempted without repair. (2) It is determined on the spot that the gaming machine 61 cannot be repaired, and the gaming machine 61 is either transported to a proper repair facility or removed from the installation table 242 to a shelf for rejected items, and the next gaming machine 61 to be inspected is installed on the installation table 242.

[0042] Returning to step S12, when the inspection worker operates the inspection switch 33 (S12; Yes), the above-mentioned first series of processes (S13-S15) is executed for the repaired gaming machine 61 or the next gaming machine 61 under the control of the inspection sequence control unit 102. The repair and reinspection of the gaming machine 61 (the first series of processes (S13-S15)) can be repeated any number of times via the operation of the inspection switch 33 at the discretion of the inspection worker.

[0043] When all of the inspection items relating to the front surface of the gaming machine 61 are correct (proper), the process automatically proceeds to inspection of the back surface of the gaming machine 61 using the second camera 22 under the control of the inspection sequence control unit 102 (second series of processes, S18-S20) (S16; OK).

[0044] Under the control of the inspection sequence control unit 102, the second camera 22 captures an image of the entire rear surface of the gaming machine with a wide field of view (S18).

[0045] The second judgment unit 105 judges whether each inspection item is correct or not from the image acquired by the second camera 22 (S19). Inspection items on the back side of the gaming machine include, for example, whether a sticker with a serial number is missing, whether a metal plate is missing, whether a screw for attaching a part to the back side of the gaming board is missing, reading of the board number printed on the board, whether other parts are missing, etc.

[0046] If at least one of these inspection items is incorrect (missing item, reading error), the inspection sequence control unit 102 controls the lamp driver 135 to turn on the inspection lamp 35 in "red," and if all of these inspection items are correct (no missing item, proper reading), the inspection sequence control unit 102 controls the lamp driver 135 to turn on the inspection lamp 35 in "blue" (S20). The judgment results of these inspection items are displayed on the display 16. When the inspection lamp 35 turns "red," the inspection operator can visually identify which inspection item is incorrect.

[0047] When any one of the inspection items related to the back surface of the gaming machine 61 is incorrect (S21; NG), the inspection sequence control unit 102 stops the inspection without proceeding to the third series of processes, and waits for the operation of the inspection switch 33.

[0048] When the inspection is stopped, the inspection worker executes the above-mentioned (1) or (2) (S22). Then, the process returns to step S12, and when the inspection worker operates the inspection switch 33 (S12; Yes), the inspection is resumed from the first series of processes (S13-S15) described above for the repaired gaming machine 61 or the next gaming machine 61 under the control of the inspection sequence control unit 102. It cannot be said that new defects will not occur on the front side of the gaming machine 61 due to the repair work on the back side of the gaming machine 61, and by resuming the first series of processes (S13-S15) by the first camera 21, high inspection accuracy can be achieved.

[0049] The first series of steps (S13-S15) and the second series of steps (S18-S20) can be repeated any number of times at the discretion of the inspection operator.

[0050] When all of the inspection items related to the front and back surfaces of the gaming machine 61 are correct (proper), the inspection sequence control unit 102 automatically proceeds to inspection by the distance sensor 23 (third series of processes) (S21; OK).

[0051] In the third series of processes, the robot controller 131 controls the articulated robot device 31 so that the distance sensor 23 moves along a predetermined trajectory close to the front or back surface of the gaming machine and changes its posture while repeatedly acquiring distance data (S23).

[0052] For example, the distance sensor 23 is arranged in a position and orientation with its optical axis parallel to the mating direction of the connector, and at a predetermined distance from the rear surface of the housing of the connector. The third determination unit 106 determines whether the part or components are proper or not based on the distance measured by the distance sensor 23. For example, the distance measured by the distance sensor 23 is compared with a distance preset for a state in which the connector is properly mated with the receptacle, and if the measured distances are within a preset proper range, it is determined that the connector is properly mated (proper). If the measured distance is within a range slightly larger than the proper range (improper range), it is determined that the connector is not properly mated, that is, floating or half-inserted (incorrect). Furthermore, if the measured distance exceeds the improper range, it is determined that the connector is missing (incorrect).

[0053] Similarly, the distance to the head of the screw that secures components such as the main control circuit to the circuit board is measured, and based on the measured distance it is determined whether the screw is properly tightened, the screw is not completely tightened, or the screw is missing.

[0054] The third determination unit 106 determines whether each of the test items is correct or incorrect based on the distance measured by the distance sensor 23 (S24).

[0055] If at least one of these test items is incorrect (incorrect), the test sequence control unit 102 controls the lamp driver 135 to turn on the test lamp 35 in "red," and if all of these test items are correct, the test sequence control unit 102 controls the lamp driver 135 to turn on the test lamp 35 in "blue" (S25) and stops the test.

[0056] When any one of the proximity inspection items of the gaming machine 61 is incorrect (S26; NG), The inspection sequence control unit 102 stops the inspection without proceeding to the next fourth series of processes and waits for the operation of the inspection switch 33. The inspection worker executes the above-mentioned (1) or (2) (S27). Then, the process returns to step S12, and when the inspection worker operates the inspection switch 33 (S12; Yes), the inspection is resumed from the initial first series of processes (S13-S15) for the repaired gaming machine 61 or the next gaming machine 61 under the control of the inspection sequence control unit 102. Instead of resuming from the third series of processes that were erroneously determined, the inspection is resumed from the initial first series of processes (S13-S15) and the first, second, and third series of processes are re-executed, whereby the occurrence of a new defect due to repair or the like can be determined, and high inspection accuracy can be achieved.

[0057] When all the test items in the third series of processes are correct (proper), the test sequence control unit 102 automatically proceeds to a proximity test of the gaming machine 61 (fourth series of processes) (S26; OK).

[0058] In the fourth series of processes, the robot controller 131 controls the articulated robot device 31 to move the third camera 24 along a predetermined trajectory close to the front or back surface of the gaming machine and to repeatedly capture images while changing its posture (S28).

[0059] Based on the images captured by the third camera 24, the third determination unit 106 determines whether each inspection item is correct (S29). Proximity inspection items for game machines include, for example, missing connectors or poor fitting (loose, half-inserted), part height, reading of a two-dimensional code (QR code (registered trademark)) affixed to the game board 51, and missing other parts.

[0060] If at least one of these inspection items is incorrect (non-conformity; missing or poorly fitted connector, abnormal part height, missing part, reading error), the inspection sequence control unit 102 controls the lamp driver 135 to turn on the inspection lamp 35 in "red", and if all of these inspection items are correct (no missing parts, proper reading), the inspection sequence control unit 102 controls the lamp driver 135 to turn on the inspection lamp 35 in "blue" (S30) and stops the inspection.

[0061] If any one of the adjacent inspection items of the gaming machine 61 is incorrect (S31; NG), the inspection worker executes the above-mentioned (1) or (2) (S32). Then, the process returns to step S12, and when the inspection switch 33 is operated by the inspection worker (S12; Yes), the inspection is resumed from the first series of processes (S13-S15) described above for the repaired gaming machine 61 or the next gaming machine 61 under the control of the inspection sequence control unit 102. Instead of resuming from the fourth series of processes that were determined to be unsuitable, the inspection is resumed from the initial first series of processes (S13-S15) and the second, third, and fourth series of processes are re-executed, whereby it is possible to determine the occurrence of a new defect due to repair or the like, and a high inspection accuracy can be achieved.

[0062] If all of the proximity inspection items of the gaming machine 61 are positive (S31; OK), the inspection worker transfers the gaming machine 61 to the shelf for acceptable products (S33). If the inspection of all the items to be inspected is completed (S34; Yes), the inspection work ends. If the inspection of all the items to be inspected is not completed (S34; No), the next gaming machine 61 to be inspected is placed on the installation table (S35), and the process returns to the inspection process S12.

[0063] As described above, according to this first embodiment, inspection using multiple cameras 21, 22, 24 and distance sensor 23 can be completed while the gaming machine 61 to be inspected remains installed on the installation stand 242, and there is no need to transport the gaming machine 61 to a different installation location for each inspection using the cameras 21, 22, 24 and distance sensor 23, thereby making it possible to improve the efficiency of the inspection work.

[0064] In addition, if even one error is found in the inspection results, the inspection process stops, so repairs can be made on the spot and re-inspection can be performed immediately, which is more efficient than transporting the gaming machine 61 to another location for repairs, etc.

[0065] Furthermore, an opening 244 is formed in the support plate 243 of the installation stand 242, and an inspection worker can access the gaming machine 61 through the opening 244, so that repairs can sometimes be performed with the gaming machine 61 standing on the installation stand 242, improving the ease of repair work.

[0066] When the inspection is restarted, it can be resumed by returning to the first series of processes with a single action. No matter what stage the inspection is stopped at, it returns to the first series of processes and executes all the inspections again, so even if new non-conformities, improperities, or defects arise due to parts being out of position after repair work, they can be inspected again, ensuring high inspection accuracy.

[0067] In the above description, an installation base for installing a gaming machine vertically (perpendicularly) has been described. However, the installation base may have a structure for installing a gaming machine horizontally. As shown in FIG. 7, the installation base 246 has a rectangular base 248 that is the same as or slightly larger than the gaming machine 61, and four legs 247 are vertically erected at the four corners of the base 248. The gaming machine 61 is supported horizontally on the legs 247 with its surface facing downward. A rectangular opening 249 is opened in the center of the base 248. The surface of the gaming machine 61 supported horizontally on the legs 247 is exposed downward through the opening 249. Second embodiment In the above-mentioned first embodiment, an example in which three cameras and one distance sensor are combined to complete the inspection of a gaming machine is described, but in this second embodiment, an example in which one camera, one weight sensor, and one distance sensor are combined to complete the inspection of a gaming machine is described. Note that parts that overlap with the first embodiment are given the same reference numerals and their explanation is omitted as much as possible.

[0068] As shown in FIG. 8, the inspection device 1 is equipped with a weight sensor 41, a distance sensor 42, and a camera 43. The weight sensor 41 is equipped to measure the total weight of the installation base 242 and the gaming machine 61. The part to be inspected may be hidden by other resin molded products and not exposed when viewed from the front or back side, and cannot be imaged or measured by the camera or sensor. If the part to be inspected is missing, the total weight of the installation base 242 and the gaming machine 61 is reduced by the weight of the missing part. By using the weight sensor 41, it is possible to inspect for the missing part.

[0069] The distance sensor 42 is attached to the tip of the arm of the articulated robot device 31, and is equipped to approach the screws that attach target components such as a main control circuit to the back surface of the game board to inspect for missing components, installation condition, etc. The camera 43 is equipped to take an image of the front side of the game machine 61 and inspect the color (discoloration, color unevenness, etc.) of a resin molded product such as a mechanism (gimmick) for performance.

[0070] 9, the processor 11 executes the inspection program to function as a first sensor controller 141 that drives the weight sensor 41, a second sensor controller 142 that drives the distance sensor 42, and a camera controller 143 that drives the camera 43. Furthermore, the processor 11 executes the inspection program to function as a first determination unit 204, a second determination unit 205, and a third determination unit 206. The first determination unit 204 compares the weight measured by the weight sensor 41 with the weight (proper weight) in a state in which all parts, etc. are attached without any missing parts, and determines based on the difference whether all parts, etc. are attached properly without any missing parts or whether at least one part is missing, and estimates the one missing part or a combination of multiple missing parts.

[0071] The second judgment unit 205 judges, based on the measurement data (distance data) measured by the distance sensor 42, whether the distance from the distance sensor 42 to the head of the screw matches the distance when the screw is properly tightened (proper distance) (proper), or whether the distance from the distance sensor 42 to the head of the screw does not match the above-mentioned proper distance and the screw is not properly tightened. The third judgment unit 206 judges, based on the image captured by the camera 43, whether the color of the resin molded product is proper or not.

[0072] As shown in Fig. 10, the weight sensor 41 is interposed between the base 245 of the installation stand 242 and the stand 241, and measures the total weight of the installation stand 242 and the gaming machine 61 installed on the installation stand 242. As for the distance sensor 42, a distance sensor 23 is attached to the tip of the arm of the articulated robot device 31. According to the movement of the articulated robot device 31, the distance sensor 23 measures the distance to the target part at any approaching position and at any posture. The camera 43 can capture images of the front and back of the gaming machine 61 from a proximity position at any posture. An inspection switch 33 and an inspection lamp 35 are installed on the stand 241.

[0073] 11 and 12, an inspection worker sets up a gaming machine (inspected product) 61 on the installation stand 242 (S11). When the inspection worker operates (presses) the inspection switch 33 (S12), the inspection sequence control unit 102 controls the first sensor controller 141 to first execute a first series of processes (S41, S42, S15).

[0074] The weight sensor 41 measures the total weight of the installation base 242 and the gaming machine 61 (S41). The first judgment unit 204 judges whether or not at least one molded product is missing based on the weight measured by the weight sensor 41 (S42). As described above, the total weight (proper weight (threshold)) of the weight of the gaming machine 61 with no missing parts and all parts etc. properly attached and the weight of the installation base 242 is known. When at least one part is missing, the measured weight is lower than the proper weight. In this case, the first judgment unit 204 judges the state in which at least one part is missing as "incorrect (inappropriate)". Furthermore, the weight of each of all parts is known, and the missing part or a combination of multiple missing parts can be estimated from the difference between the measured weight and the proper weight.

[0075] When the judgment result of the first judgment unit 204 is incorrect (inappropriate), the inspection sequence control unit 102 controls the lamp driver 135 to turn on the inspection lamp 35 in "red", and when the judgment result of the first judgment unit 204 is correct (appropriate), the inspection sequence control unit 102 controls the lamp driver 135 to turn on the inspection lamp 35 in "blue" (S15). Although not shown, the display 16 displays a part number or the like that identifies the part presumed to be missing. When the inspection lamp 35 turns on in "red", the inspection operator can visually confirm which part is missing.

[0076] If the weight determination is erroneous (inappropriate) (S16; NG), the inspection sequence control unit 102 stops the inspection without proceeding to the second series of processes, and waits for the inspection switch 33 to be operated.

[0077] When the inspection is stopped, the inspection worker performs the following (1) or (2) according to his / her own judgment (S17). (1) If it is judged that the gaming machine 61 can be repaired on the spot, the missing parts are attached on the spot while the gaming machine 61 is still installed on the installation stand 242. (2) If it is judged that the gaming machine 61 cannot be repaired on the spot, the gaming machine 61 is transported to a regular repair shop, or the gaming machine 61 is transported from the installation stand 242 to a rejected goods shelf, and the next gaming machine 61 to be inspected is installed on the installation stand 242. After the above-mentioned (1) or (2) process, the process returns to step S12, and when the inspection worker operates the inspection switch 33 (S12; Yes), the first series of processes (S41, S42, S15) described above are executed for the repaired gaming machine 61 or the next gaming machine 61 under the control of the inspection sequence control unit 102. The repair and reinspection of the gaming machine 61 (the first series of processes (S41, S42, S15)) can be repeated any number of times at the discretion of the inspection worker.

[0078] When the weight determination is correct (proper), the process automatically proceeds to an inspection using the distance sensor 42 (a second series of processes, S43, S44, S20) under the control of the inspection sequence control unit 102 (S16; OK).

[0079] In the second series of processes, the robot controller 131 controls the articulated robot device 31, so that the distance sensor 42 moves on a predetermined track close to the front or back surface of the gaming machine and repeatedly acquires distance data while changing its posture (S43). For example, the distance sensor 42 measures the distance to the head of a screw that fixes the main control circuit or the like to the board, and based on that distance, it determines whether the screw is properly fastened, the screw is not completely fastened, or the screw is missing.

[0080] The second judgment unit 205 judges whether each inspection item is correct or incorrect based on the distance measured by the distance sensor 42 (S44). If at least one screw is missing or at least one screw is incompletely tightened, the judgment result is incorrect, and the inspection sequence control unit 102 controls the lamp driver 135 to turn on the inspection lamp 35 in "red," and if the judgment result is correct, that is, all of the screws to be inspected are properly tightened, the inspection sequence control unit 102 controls the lamp driver 135 to turn on the inspection lamp 35 in "blue" (S20), and the inspection is stopped.

[0081] If the judgment result is false (S21; NG), the inspection worker executes the above-mentioned (1) or (2) (S22). Then, the process returns to step S12, and with the operation of the inspection switch 33 by the inspection worker (S12; Yes), the inspection is resumed from the first series of processes (S41, S42, S15) for the repaired gaming machine 61 or the next gaming machine 61 under the control of the inspection sequence control unit 102. Instead of resuming from the second series of processes by the distance sensor 42, the inspection is resumed from the first series of processes (S41, S42, S15) by the weight sensor 41, and the second series of processes (S43, S44, S20) by the distance sensor 42 is re-executed, whereby it is possible to judge the occurrence of a new defect due to repair or the like, and a high inspection accuracy can be obtained.

[0082] When all the inspection items based on the measurement data of the distance sensor 42 are correct (proper), the inspection sequence control unit 102 automatically proceeds to the next inspection using the camera 43 (third series of processes) (S21; OK).

[0083] The inspection sequence control unit 102 controls the camera controller 243 to have the camera 43 capture an image of the front side of the gaming machine 61 (S45). For example, the camera 43 sequentially switches between, for example, eight types of illumination wavelengths for the surface of the gaming machine, and in synchronization with this, the camera 43 repeatedly captures images. The third determination unit 113 determines whether the game is correct or not from the eight images with different illumination wavelengths (S46). Inspection items for the front side of the gaming machine include, for example, the color (discoloration, color unevenness, etc.) of the mechanism (gimmick) for performance, the position of the gimmick, the position of the liquid crystal screen, etc.

[0084] When the third judgment unit 206 judges that at least one of these inspection items is incorrect (incorrect), the inspection sequence control unit 102 controls the lamp driver 135 to turn on the inspection lamp 35 in "red", and when all of these inspection items are correct (correct), the inspection sequence control unit 102 controls the lamp driver 135 to turn on the inspection lamp 35 in "blue" (S25). Although not shown, the judgment results of these inspection items are displayed on the display 16. When the inspection lamp 35 turns on in "red", the inspection operator can visually identify which inspection items are incorrect.

[0085] When any one of the inspection items on the surface side of the gaming machine, such as the color (discoloration, color unevenness, etc.) of the mechanism (gimmick) for the performance, the position of the gimmick, the position of the liquid crystal screen, etc., is incorrect (S26; NG), the inspection sequence control unit 102 causes the inspection worker to execute the above-mentioned (1) or (2) (S27). Then, the process returns to step S12, and the inspection worker operates the inspection switch 33 (S12; Yes), and the inspection is resumed from the above-mentioned first series of processes (S41, S42, S15). Instead of resuming from the third series of processes by the camera 43, the inspection is resumed from the first series of processes (S41, S42, S15) by the weight sensor 41, and the second series of processes (S43, S44, S20) by the distance sensor 42 and the third series of processes (S45, S46, S25) by the camera 43 are re-executed, whereby the occurrence of a new defect due to repairs, etc. can be determined, and high inspection accuracy can be achieved.

[0086] When all of the inspection items based on the image data of the camera 43 are correct (proper), the inspection worker transfers the gaming machine 61 to the shelf for acceptable products (S33). When the inspection of all the items to be inspected is completed (S34; Yes), the inspection work ends. When the inspection of all the items to be inspected is not completed (S34; No), the gaming machine 61 as the next item to be inspected is placed on the installation table (S35), and the process returns to the inspection process S12.

[0087] As described above, according to the second embodiment, an inspection can be completed using the weight sensor 41, the distance sensor 42, and the camera 43, and there is no need to transport the weight sensor 41, the distance sensor 42, and the camera 43 to a different installation location for each inspection, thereby making it possible to improve the efficiency of the inspection work.

[0088] In addition, if even one error is found in the inspection results, the inspection process stops, so repairs can be made on the spot and re-inspection can be performed immediately, which is more efficient than transporting the gaming machine 61 to another location for repairs, etc.

[0089] When the inspection is restarted, it can be resumed by returning to the first series of processes with a single action. No matter what stage the inspection is stopped at, it returns to the first series of processes and executes all the inspections again, so even if new non-conformities, improperities, or defects arise due to parts being out of position after repair work, they can be inspected again, ensuring high inspection accuracy. Third embodiment In the above, an example (first embodiment) in which three cameras and one distance sensor are combined to complete the inspection of a gaming machine, and an example (second embodiment) in which two sensors (weight sensor, distance sensor) are combined to complete the inspection of a gaming machine, are described, but in this third embodiment, an example in which two distance sensors are combined to perform the inspection of a gaming machine is described. Note that parts that overlap with the first and second embodiments are given the same reference numerals, and their description is omitted as much as possible.

[0090] As shown in FIG. 13, the inspection device 1 is equipped with a distance sensor 51 and a distance sensor 52. As shown in FIG. 15, the distance sensor 51 is placed at a position facing the surface of the gaming machine 61. It measures the distance to a target part, for example, a part attached to the surface of a gaming board. From the measured distance, it is possible to determine whether a part is missing or attached backwards, or whether a spring is missing or attached backwards as a part. The distance sensor 52 is attached to the tip of the arm of the articulated robot device 31, and is equipped to approach a target part, for example, a part attached to the surface and back of a gaming board, and to inspect whether a part is missing or attached backwards, or whether a spring is missing or attached backwards as a part, from the distance.

[0091] 14, the processor 11 executes the inspection program to function as a first sensor controller 151 that drives the distance sensor 51 and a second sensor controller 152 that drives the distance sensor 52. Furthermore, the processor 11 executes the inspection program to function as first and second determination units 304 and 305. The first and second determination units 304 and 305 determine whether a part or a spring is missing or is attached incorrectly based on the measurement data (distance data) measured by the distance sensors 51 and 52.

[0092] As shown in Figures 16 and 17, an inspection worker sets up an amusement machine (inspected item) 61 on the installation stand 242 (S11), and when the inspection worker operates (presses) the inspection switch 33 (S12), the inspection sequence control unit 102 controls the first sensor controller 151 to first execute a first series of processes (S51, S52, S15).

[0093] The distance sensor 51 acquires distance data from the distance sensor 51 to a target part attached to the surface of the gaming machine (S51). The first judgment unit 304 judges whether the target part is properly attached (correct (correct)), whether the target part is missing (incorrect (correct)), or whether the target part is attached backwards (incorrect (correct)) based on the measurement data (distance data) measured by the distance sensor 51 (S52). When the target part is properly attached, the distance measured by the distance sensor 51 matches a predetermined correct distance. When the target part is missing, the distance measured by the distance sensor 51 is longer than the predetermined correct distance. When the target part is attached backwards, the distance measured by the distance sensor 51 is longer or shorter than the predetermined correct distance.

[0094] When the judgment result of the first judgment unit 304 is "incorrect (inappropriate)", the inspection sequence control unit 102 controls the lamp driver 135 to turn on the inspection lamp 35 in "red", and when the judgment result is "correct (appropriate)", the inspection sequence control unit 102 controls the lamp driver 135 to turn on the inspection lamp 35 in "blue" (S15).

[0095] If the determination result is false (S16; NG), the inspection sequence control unit 102 stops the inspection without proceeding to the second series of processes, and waits for the operation of the inspection switch 33. The inspection worker executes the above-mentioned (1) or (2) (S17). Then, the process returns to step S12, and in response to the operation of the inspection switch 33 by the inspection worker (S12; Yes), inspection is resumed from the above-mentioned first series of processes (S51, S52, S15) for the repaired gaming machine 61 or the next gaming machine 61 under the control of the inspection sequence control unit 102.

[0096] When the inspection item based on the measurement data of the distance sensor 51 is correct (proper), the inspection sequence control unit 102 automatically proceeds to the next inspection using the distance sensor 52 (a second series of processes) (S16; OK).

[0097] The inspection sequence control unit 102 controls the sensor controller 152 to execute a second series of processes (S53, S54, S20). In the second series of processes, the robot controller 131 controls the articulated robot device 31, so that the distance sensor 52 moves on a predetermined trajectory close to the front or back surface of the gaming machine and changes its posture while repeatedly acquiring distance data for each of the multiple target parts (S53).

[0098] The second judgment unit 305 judges whether the target part is properly installed (correct (correct)), whether the target part is missing (incorrect (correct)), or whether the target part is installed backwards (incorrect (correct)), based on the measurement data (distance data) measured by the distance sensor 52 (S54).

[0099] When the judgment result of the second judgment unit 305 is "incorrect (inappropriate)", the inspection sequence control unit 102 controls the lamp driver 135 to turn on the inspection lamp 35 in "red", and when the judgment result is "correct (appropriate)", the inspection sequence control unit 102 controls the lamp driver 135 to turn on the inspection lamp 35 in "blue" (S20).

[0100] If the judgment result is false (S31; NG), the inspection sequence control unit 102 stops the inspection and waits for the operation of the inspection switch 33. The inspection worker executes the above-mentioned (1) or (2) (S32). Then, the process returns to step S12, and in response to the operation of the inspection switch 33 by the inspection worker (S12; Yes), inspection is resumed from the first series of processes (S51, S52, S15) described above for the repaired gaming machine 61 or the next gaming machine 61 under the control of the inspection sequence control unit 102.

[0101] By resuming from the first series of processes (S51, S52, S15) by distance sensor 51, rather than from the second series of processes by distance sensor 52, it is possible to determine the occurrence of new defects due to repairs, etc., and high inspection accuracy can be achieved.

[0102] If all of the inspection items of the gaming machine 61 are correct (S31; OK), the inspection worker transfers the gaming machine 61 to the shelf for acceptable products (S33). If the inspection of all the items to be inspected is completed (S34; Yes), the inspection work ends. If the inspection of all the items to be inspected is not completed (S34; No), the next gaming machine 61 to be inspected is placed on the installation table (S35), and the process returns to the inspection process S12.

[0103] As described above, according to the third embodiment, since it is not necessary to transport the distance sensors 51 and 52 to a different installation location for each inspection, it is possible to improve the efficiency of the inspection work.

[0104] In addition, if even one error is found in the inspection results, the inspection process stops, so repairs can be made on the spot and re-inspection can be performed immediately, which is more efficient than transporting the gaming machine 61 to another location for repairs, etc.

[0105] When the inspection is restarted, it can be resumed by returning to the first series of processes with a single action. No matter what stage the inspection is stopped at, it returns to the first series of processes and executes all the inspections again, so even if new non-conformities, improperities, or defects arise due to parts being out of position after repair work, they can be inspected again, ensuring high inspection accuracy.

The embodiments may be implemented in appropriate combination, and in that case, the combined effect can be obtained. Furthermore, the above-mentioned embodiment includes various inventions, and various inventions can be extracted by combinations selected from the multiple constituent elements disclosed.
