Abstract
Description
Method, device and recording medium for providing product comparison information
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a technology for providing comparative information on one or more products. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to a technology for determining one or more similar products as comparison targets for a target product selected by a user based on product attributes, and providing the user with comparative information on the target product and similar products.
[0002] With the continued development of e-commerce services, purchasing products via the web or applications has become commonplace. Users (customers) of e-commerce services can select products they wish to purchase and view information about them via the web or application.
[0003] Meanwhile, users (customers) of e-commerce services may have various purchasing patterns. For example, a user with Type 1 may select a single product and purchase it without comparing it with other products. Alternatively, a user with Type 2 may review and compare various products, select the one that best suits their needs, and purchase that one. If these users can only view information about a specific product upon selecting it, they may experience the inconvenience of having to individually select each product to obtain information about other products they wish to compare. This can make the purchasing experience cumbersome and inconvenient, potentially leading to the user abandoning the purchase.
[0004] In order to improve the user / customer experience in the process of comparing and selecting various products, the need for technology that allows users to check not only information about a product they have selected, but also information about other products that are comparable to the selected product has emerged.
[0005] The purpose of this disclosure is to determine similar products as comparison targets for a target product based on the main product attributes of the target product when the user selects the target product, and to provide the user with comparison information between the target product and similar products, thereby enabling the user to conveniently compare various products based on comparison information of the products with only one product selection.

[0041] The various embodiments described in this disclosure are exemplified for the purpose of clearly explaining the technical concept of this disclosure and are not intended to be limited to specific embodiments. The technical concept of this disclosure includes various modifications, equivalents, alternatives, and embodiments selectively combined from all or part of the embodiments described in this disclosure. Furthermore, the scope of the technical concept of this disclosure is not limited to the various embodiments presented below or the specific descriptions thereof.
[0042] Terms used in this disclosure, including technical or scientific terms, unless otherwise defined, may have the meaning commonly understood by a person of ordinary skill in the art to which this disclosure belongs.
[0043] The expressions "includes," "may include," "comprises," "may have," "have," and "may have" used in this disclosure indicate the presence of a target feature (e.g., a function, operation, or component), but do not exclude the presence of other additional features. In other words, such expressions should be understood as open-ended terms that imply the possibility of including other embodiments.
[0044] The singular expressions used in this disclosure may include the plural meaning unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, and the same applies to the singular expressions set forth in the claims.
[0045] As used herein, expressions such as “first,” “second,” or “first,” “second,” etc., unless the context indicates otherwise, are used to refer to multiple objects and to distinguish one object from another, and do not limit the order or importance between the objects.
[0046] As used herein, the expressions “A, B, and C,” “A, B, or C,” “A, B, and / or C,” or “at least one of A, B, and C,” “at least one of A, B, or C,” “at least one of A, B, and / or C,” “at least one selected from A, B, and C,” “at least one selected from A, B, or C,” “at least one selected from A, B, and / or C,” and the like can mean each listed item or all possible combinations of the listed items. For example, “at least one selected from A and B” can refer to (1) A, (2) at least one of A, (3) B, (4) at least one of B, (5) at least one of A and at least one of B, (6) at least one of A and B, (7) at least one of B and A, and (8) both A and B.
[0047] The expression "based on or according to" used in this disclosure is used to describe one or more factors that influence a decision, act of judgment, or action described in a phrase or sentence containing the expression, and the expression does not exclude additional factors that influence the decision, act of judgment, or action.
[0048] As used herein, the expression that a component (e.g., a first component) is “connected” or “connected” to another component (e.g., a second component) may mean that the component is directly connected or connected to the other component, as well as connected or connected via a new other component (e.g., a third component).
[0049] The expression "configured to" used in the present disclosure may have the meanings of "set to", "having the ability to", "modified to", "made to", "capable of", etc., depending on the context. The expression is not limited to the meaning of "specifically designed in hardware", and for example, a processor configured to perform a specific operation may mean a special purpose computer structured through programming to perform the specific operation.
[0050] The term "membership" as used herein may refer to an eligibility or status that entitles a user to special benefits offered by an e-commerce service. A user may apply for membership in an e-commerce service by requesting membership in a defined manner. When membership is applied to a user in this manner, the user may receive the special benefits of membership.
[0051] The term "interface" or "user interface" used herein may refer to a physical or virtual medium designed to enable communication between a user and an object, system, machine, or computer program. Users may utilize e-commerce services through the interface. For example, the interface may include basic elements for displaying specific information, such as images or text, and elements for receiving user input, such as buttons that can be configured using these basic elements. For example, selecting (clicking) an interface by a user may be expressed as receiving a user's selection (click) input for the interface. Furthermore, the user's selection (click) input for the interface may include information related to the function of the interface. As a specific example, the user's selection (click) input for a request interface for requesting a specific page may include a request for the specific page. [0052] The term "target product" used in this disclosure may mean a product selected by a user from among products displayed on the web or application.
[0053] The term "product attribute" as used herein may refer to a specific characteristic or feature that describes or distinguishes a product. For example, product attributes may be divided into tangible attributes (physical attributes) and intangible attributes (non-physical attributes). Tangible attributes include measurable or observable characteristics, such as size, weight, color, material, and shape. Intangible attributes may include characteristics understood as abstract concepts, such as brand, price, use, grade, storage method, country of origin, part, manufacturing environment, and user ratings.
[0054] The term "attribute value" used in this disclosure may indicate specific information assigned to a product attribute. For example, a product attribute called "color" may be assigned attribute values such as "red," "blue," and "green." As another example, a product attribute called "size" may be assigned attribute values such as "small," "medium," and "large." Attribute values may be assigned.
[0055] Meanwhile, the attribute value can be any one of a range value, a numerical value, a binary value, and an ordinal value.
[0056] For example, a range attribute value can represent a range consisting of the minimum and maximum values a product can have for a product attribute. Here, the range can be expressed in the form [minimum, maximum]. As a specific example, the attribute value for the product attribute "storage temperature" could be [0℃, 20℃].
[0057] For example, a numeric attribute value can represent a specific value a product possesses for a product attribute. Here, the numeric attribute value can be expressed as either a number or text. As a specific example, the attribute value for the product attribute "Weight" might be "750g." As another example, the attribute value for the product attribute "Storage Method" might be "Refrigerate."
[0058] For example, a binary attribute value can represent a product attribute in one of two states. That is, a binary attribute value can indicate whether a product satisfies a specific condition related to the product attribute or whether the product has a specific feature related to the product attribute. Here, a binary attribute value can be expressed as one of two opposing choices, such as "yes" or "no," "present" or "absent." As a specific example, the attribute value for the product attribute "recyclable" can be "yes" or "no." As another example, the attribute value for the product attribute "wireless charging function" can be "present" or "absent."
[0059] For example, an ordinal attribute value can represent a product attribute in terms of an order or grade. If a product attribute allows products to be ranked, the ordinal attribute value for that product attribute can represent the relative ranking or importance of the products. Here, the ordinal attribute value can be expressed in the form of a rank, grade, priority, etc. As a specific example, the attribute value for the product attribute "grade" can be one of "high," "medium," and "low." Alternatively, the attribute value for the product attribute "rating" can be one of "very satisfied," "satisfied," "average," "dissatisfied," and "very dissatisfied."
[0060] The examples of attribute values of the above-described product properties are merely examples for understanding the present disclosure, and the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0061] In the present disclosure, if a first product has a first attribute value, a second product has a second attribute value, and the first attribute value and the second attribute value are in a corresponding relationship, the first product and the second product can be said to share a specific product attribute. Here, the corresponding relationship may include an identical relationship or a compatible relationship.
[0062] As a specific example of the same relationship, if the first product has "domestic" as the attribute value for the product attribute "country of origin" and the second product also has "domestic" as the attribute value, the first product and the second product can be expressed as sharing the product attribute "country of origin."
[0063] As a concrete example of a compatibility relationship, for a product attribute called "weight", the first product has "300g" as the attribute value, the second product has "200g" as the attribute value, and the error range of the attribute values is " In the case of "100g", "200g" falls within the margin of error of "300g", so it can be said that the first product and the second product share the product attribute called "weight". In other words, even though the first product and the second product have different specific attribute values for the product attribute called "weight", they are mutually compatible based on the margin of error set for the attribute value of the product attribute, so it can be said that the first product and the second product share the product attribute called "weight".
[0064] Hereinafter, various embodiments of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the attached drawings. In the attached drawings and the description of the drawings, identical or substantially equivalent components may be assigned the same reference numerals. Furthermore, in the description of various embodiments below, duplicate descriptions of identical or corresponding components may be omitted, but this does not mean that the corresponding components are not included in the embodiments.

Here, the instruction or command is information that enables the display of specific information on the display of the user terminal (120), and may be implemented as an image or text, for example. Based on the reception of such an instruction or command, the user terminal (120) may display specific information on the display. Accordingly, the operation of the electronic device (110) providing specific information to the user terminal (120) may be expressed as an operation of the electronic device (110) providing specific information to the user terminal (120). That is, the operation of the electronic device (110) transmitting specific information or an instruction or command to display specific information to the user terminal (120) may be expressed as an operation of the electronic device (110) providing specific information to the user terminal (120).
[0084] In one embodiment, the electronic device (110) may transmit various responses corresponding to various requests received from the user terminal (120) for the e-commerce service to the user terminal (120). For example, the user terminal (120) may receive a user input corresponding to an interface (e.g., a widget or button) displayed on a page of the e-commerce service and transmit the same to the electronic device (110). Here, the user terminal (120) may receive a response corresponding to the user input from the electronic device (110) and perform an operation defined in the response. That is, the user terminal (120) may receive information corresponding to the user input from the electronic device (110) and perform an operation of displaying the received information on a display.
[0085] In addition to the examples described above, the electronic device (110) can perform operations based on known technologies that can be performed by server devices providing e-commerce services. Therefore, applying the technical concepts of the present disclosure by referring to operations based on known technologies is not excluded from the scope of the present disclosure.
[0086] In one embodiment, the user terminal (120) may be a terminal of a user using an e-commerce service. The user terminal (120) may display various pages regarding the e-commerce service provided by the electronic device (110) on the display of the user terminal (120). These pages may have interfaces defined as functions related to the e-commerce service applied thereto. The application of these interfaces may be managed by the electronic device (110) described above. In addition, the user terminal (120) may obtain a user's input for a page, process the obtained user input, or transmit the obtained user input to the electronic device (110). For example, the user terminal (120) may receive a user's selection input for an interface displayed on a page and transmit the same to the electronic device (110). By obtaining a response corresponding to the user's input from the electronic device (110), the user terminal (120) may perform operations defined to correspond to the user's input. For example, the user terminal (120) may receive specific information corresponding to the user's input from the electronic device (110) and display it on the display. Here, if the user's input is a request for a specific page, the specific information corresponding to the user's input may be information about the specific page or display information that causes the specific page to be displayed. Thus, specific information (a specific page) corresponding to the user's input may be provided to the user. As described above, in order for the user to utilize the e-commerce service through the user terminal (120), a web browser or application may be installed on the user terminal (120).
[0087] In one embodiment, the user terminal (120) may be any device such as, but not limited to, a desktop computer, a laptop computer, a tablet computer, a wearable device, or a smartphone, and the user terminal (120) may include an input / output interface capable of receiving information from a user or outputting information to a user, and may be any device capable of communicating with the electronic device (110) or other devices via a network.
[0088] In one embodiment, the user terminal (120) may provide information received from the electronic device (110) to the user, and may receive input from the user and transmit the input to the electronic device (110). Additionally or alternatively, some components may be implemented in an integrated manner, or implemented as a single or multiple entities.
[0094] In one embodiment, one or more processors (210) may be referred to as a processor (210). The term processor (210) may mean a collection of one or more processors, unless the context clearly dictates otherwise.
[0095] In one embodiment, one or more memories (220) may be referred to as memory (220). The term memory (220) may mean a collection of one or more memories, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.
[0096] In one embodiment, the term communication interface (230) may mean a set of one or more communication circuits, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.
[0097] Below, each component illustrated in Fig. 2 will be described in more detail.
[0098] In one embodiment, the processor (210) may perform calculations or information processing for control or communication of each component of the computing device (200).
[0099] For example, the processor (210) may control at least one component of a computing device (200) connected to the processor (210) by executing software (or a computer program) received from another component.
[0100] For example, the processor (210) may load a command (e.g., an instruction, code, or code segment) or information into the memory (220), process the command or information stored in the memory (220), and store result information according to the processing in the memory (220).
[0101] For example, the processor (210) may be operatively connected to components of the computing device (200) to perform various operations, such as calculations, processing, generation, or processing, related to the present disclosure.
[0102] In one embodiment, the memory (220) may store various information. The information stored in the memory (220) may include software, which is information acquired, processed, or used by at least one component of the computing device (200). The software may include one or more instructions that, when loaded into the memory (220), cause the processor (210) to perform operations according to various embodiments of the present disclosure. That is, the processor (210) may perform operations according to various embodiments of the present disclosure by executing one or more of the instructions described above.
[0103] For example, the memory (220) may include volatile or non-volatile memory.
[0104] For example, the program is software stored in the memory (220), and may include an operating system for controlling the resources of the computing device (200), an application, or middleware that provides various functions to the application so that the application can utilize the resources of the computing device (200).
[0105] In one embodiment, the communication interface (230) can establish a wired or wireless communication channel with another device and transmit and receive various information with the other device.

[0109] In one embodiment, the computing device (200) may include a display. The display may display various screens (e.g., one or more pages) based on control of the processor (210).
[0110] For example, a web browser or a dedicated application may be installed on a computing device (200) to display a screen with various interfaces applied thereto. Furthermore, the display, as a configuration capable of interacting with a user, may receive user input from the user. Such a display may be implemented in the form of a touch sensor panel (TSP) capable of recognizing contact or proximity of various external objects (e.g., a user's finger or stylus).
[0111] In one embodiment, the computing device (200) may include an input device (e.g., a mouse or a keyboard). The input device may receive information to be used in components of the computing device (200) from an external source (e.g., a user) of the computing device (200).
[0112] The processor (210), memory (220), and communication interface (230) illustrated in FIG. 2 are connected to each other through a bus, GPIO (General Purpose Input / Output), SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface), or MIPI (Mobile Industry Processor Interface), and can send or receive information or signals.
[0113] Below, methods according to various embodiments of the present disclosure are described in detail. While operations are depicted in a specific order in the drawings below, it should be noted that the operations do not necessarily have to be performed in the specific order depicted or in a sequential order, or that all depicted operations must be performed to achieve the desired results.
[0114] In addition, the operations of the method to be described with reference to the drawings below may be performed by the electronic device (110). In other words, the operations of the method may be implemented by one or more instructions executed by the processor (210) of one or more computing devices (200) capable of implementing the electronic device (110). All operations included in this method may be executed by a single physical computing device, but for example, the first operation of the method may be performed by the first computing device, and the second operation of the method may be performed by the second computing device. In other words, the operations included in the method may be performed by being divided among a plurality of computing devices.
[0115] Hereinafter, the description will continue assuming that the operation of the above-described method is performed by the processor (210) of the electronic device (110) illustrated in FIG. 1 or one or more computing devices (200) capable of implementing the electronic device (110). In addition, for the convenience of explanation, the subject of the operation included in the method may be omitted, but unless otherwise indicated in the context, it may be interpreted that the operation is performed by the processor (210) of the electronic device (110) or one or more computing devices (200) capable of implementing the electronic device (110).
[0116] Users (customers) of e-commerce services can select products they wish to purchase via the web or an application and view information about the selected product. If only information about that product is available when the user selects a target product, they may experience the inconvenience of having to individually select each product to obtain information about other products they wish to compare. To enable users to conveniently compare various products based on comparison information with a single product selection, the present disclosure proposes a method for providing comparison information about the target product and similar products when the user selects the target product. This method will be described in detail with reference to Figures 3 to 11 below.
[0117] FIG. 3 is a drawing illustrating an example of a first page (300) for a target product according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0118] Referring to FIG. 3, the first page (300) may be provided to the user. That is, the first page (300) may be displayed on the display of the user terminal (120). For example, when the user selects a product or an interface related to the product displayed on the user terminal (120), the user terminal (120) may transmit a request for the first page (300) to the electronic device (110). In this way, the electronic device (110) that receives the request for the first page (300) from the user may transmit display information to the user terminal (120) that causes the first page (300) to be displayed. Based on the display information, the first page (300) may be displayed on the display of the user terminal (120), thereby providing the first page (300) to the user.
[0119] In one embodiment, the first page (300) may include detailed information about a target product selected by the user. The detailed information about the target product may be displayed in at least a portion of the first page (300).
[0120] For example, detailed information about a target product may include information indicating the product's detailed specifications. Specifically, detailed information about a target product may include images, text, brand information, price, ratings, and applicable membership benefits.
[0121] In one embodiment, the first page (300) may include comparison information (310) of the target product and one or more similar products. The comparison information (310) may be displayed in at least a portion of the first page (300). For the comparison information (310), reference may be made to the descriptions of FIGS. 7 to 10.
[0122] FIGS. 4 and 5 are diagrams illustrating examples of a first page (400, 500) for a target product according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0123] As described in FIG. 3, the first page (400, 500) can be provided to the user.
[0124] In one embodiment, the first page (400, 500) may include detailed information about a target product selected by the user. This may be referred to as described in FIG. 3.
[0125] In one embodiment, the first page (400, 500) may include comparative information about the target product and one or more similar products. Here, the comparative information may be included (displayed) on the first page (400, 500) in various forms.
[0126] For example, the first page (400, 500) may include an interface (410, 510) for requesting comparison information. The interface (410, 510) may be displayed in at least a portion of the first page (400, 500). As a specific example, the interface (410, 510) may be displayed in at least a portion of the area where an image of a target product is displayed in the first page (400, 500).
[0127] For example, when a user selects an interface (410, 510) displayed on a display of a user terminal (120), the user terminal (120) may transmit the user's selection input for the interface (410, 510) to the electronic device (110). Here, the user's selection input for the interface (410, 510) may include a request for comparison information of a target product and one or more similar products. In response to receiving the user's selection input for the request interface (410, 510), the electronic device (110) may transmit, to the user terminal (120), comparison information of the target product and one or more similar products or an instruction (command) to cause comparison information to be displayed. By displaying the comparison information on the display of the user terminal (120), the comparison information may be provided to the user. Here, the comparison information may be displayed in at least a portion of the first page (400, 500).
[0128] Alternatively, in response to receiving a user's selection input for the interface (410, 510), the electronic device (110) may transmit display information to the user terminal (110) that causes a second page including comparison information of the target product and one or more similar products to be displayed. Based on the display information, the second page may be displayed on the display of the user terminal (120), thereby providing the user with the second page. For the second page, reference may be made to the description of FIG. 6 .
[0129] Meanwhile, according to FIG. 3, when providing the first page (300) to the user, comparison information on the target product and one or more similar products can also be provided. In contrast, according to FIGS. 4 and 5, comparison information can only be provided to the user when the user requests comparison information after providing the first page (400, 500). The electronic device (110) that receives a request for the first page from the user can selectively provide the user with the first page (300) of FIG. 3 and the first page (400, 500) of FIG. 4 or 5.
[0130] For example, an electronic device (110) that receives a request for a first page of a target product from a user may determine one or more similar products that are comparable to the target product. For the operation of determining similar products that are comparable to the target product, reference may be made to the description in FIG. 11.
[0131] For example, if the number of one or more similar products is less than a predetermined number (e.g., 20), the electronic device (110) may provide the user with the first page (300) of FIG. 3. Alternatively, if the number of one or more similar products is greater than or equal to the predetermined number, the electronic device (110) may provide the user with the first page (400, 500) of FIG. 4 or 5. If the number of similar products that are the target of comparison for the target product is small, comparison information may be provided to the user together with detailed information of the target product, and if the number of similar products is large, comparison information may be provided only when the user separately requests it, thereby preventing the user from being hindered in checking detailed information of the target product within the first page.
[0132] For example, if a user has purchased or selected a product among one or more similar products, the electronic device (110) may provide the user with the first page (300) of FIG. 3. Alternatively, if the user has not purchased or selected a product among one or more similar products, the electronic device (110) may provide the user with the first page (400, 500) of FIG. 4 or 5. That is, products that the user has purchased or selected are likely to be repurchased or of interest to the user.
[0133] For example, if there is a product among one or more similar products that is cheaper than the target product, the electronic device (110) may provide the user with the first page (300) of FIG. 3. Alternatively, if there is no product among one or more similar products that is cheaper than the target product, the electronic device (110) may provide the user with the first page (400, 500) of FIG. 4 or 5. This is because the user is more likely to be interested in products that are cheaper than the target product.
[0134] For example, if there is a product among one or more similar products with a higher discount rate than the target product, the electronic device (110) may provide the user with the first page (300) of FIG. 3. Alternatively, if there is no product among one or more similar products with a higher discount rate than the target product, the electronic device (110) may provide the user with the first page (400, 500) of FIG. 4 or 5. That is, the user is more likely to be interested in products with a higher discount rate than the target product.
[0135] For example, if there is a product among one or more similar products with higher sales than the target product, the electronic device (110) may provide the user with the first page (300) of FIG. 3. Alternatively, if there is no product among one or more similar products with higher sales than the target product, the electronic device (110) may provide the user with the first page (400, 500) of FIG. 4 or 5. That is, the user is more likely to be interested in products with higher sales than the target product.
[0136] For example, if there is a product among one or more similar products with a higher user rating than the target product, the electronic device (110) may provide the user with the first page (300) of FIG. 3 . Alternatively, if there is no product among one or more similar products with a higher user rating than the target product, the electronic device (110) may provide the user with the first page (400, 500) of FIG. 4 or 5 . That is, the user is more likely to be interested in a product with a higher user rating than the target product.
[0137] For example, if there is a product among one or more similar products to which a coupon issued or issuable to the user can be applied, the electronic device (110) may provide the user with the first page (300) of FIG. 3. Alternatively, if there is no product among one or more similar products to which a coupon issued or issuable to the user can be applied, the electronic device (110) may provide the user with the first page (400, 500) of FIG. 4 or 5. This is because the user is more likely to be interested in products to which a coupon can be applied.
[0138] For example, if a user has signed up for a membership and has a history of using membership benefits, and if there is a product among one or more similar products to which the membership benefits used by the user can be applied, the electronic device (110) may provide the user with the first page (300) of FIG. 3. Alternatively, if the user has signed up for a membership and has a history of using membership benefits, but there is no product among one or more similar products to which the membership benefits used by the user can be applied, the electronic device (110) may provide the user with the first page (400, 500) of FIG. 4 or 5. That is, the user is more likely to be interested in products to which the membership benefits can be applied.
[0139] Meanwhile, the above-described examples are merely examples for explaining the operation of the electronic device (110) selectively providing the first page (300) of FIG. 3, the first page (400, 500) of FIG. 4 or 5 to the user, and the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0140] FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating an example of a second page (600) including comparison information of a target product and one or more similar products according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0141] Referring to FIG. 6, a second page (600) may be provided to a user.
[0142] In one embodiment, the second page (600) may be displayed overlapping at least some area within the first page (400, 500).
[0143] For example, the second page (600) may have a smaller size than the first page (400, 500) and may be displayed in an overlaid form on at least a portion of the first page (400, 500).
[0144] For example, the second page (600) may start to be displayed in an overlayed form on at least a portion of the lower part of the first page (400, 500), and may slide a predetermined range toward the upper part of the first page (400, 500) to be displayed in an overlayed form on at least a portion of the first page (400, 500).
[0145] In one embodiment, the second page (600) may not be displayed within the first page (400, 500) depending on the user's selection input for removing or reducing the second page (600).
[0146] For example, if a user selects an interface for removing a second page (600) displayed on a display of a user terminal (120) or drags the second page (600) downward, the user terminal (120) may transmit the user's selection input for removing or reducing the second page (600) to the electronic device (110). In this case, the electronic device (110) may transmit an instruction or command to the user terminal (120) to prevent the second page (600) from being displayed. Based on the instruction or command, the second page (600) is not displayed within the first page (400, 500) on the display of the user terminal (120).
[0147] FIG. 7 is a drawing for explaining comparison information (700) of a target product and one or more similar products according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0148] Referring to FIG. 7, the comparison information (700) may include at least one of first information (710) regarding representative product attributes, second information (720) regarding the target product, and third information (730) regarding one or more similar products. For example, among the areas where the comparison information (700) is displayed within the first page (300) or the second page (600), the first information (710) may be displayed in the first area, the second information (720) may be displayed in the second area, and the third information (730) may be displayed in the third area. Meanwhile, the comparison information (700) illustrated in FIG. 7 is merely an example for explaining an embodiment of the present disclosure, and the present disclosure is not limited thereto. Some of the components of the comparison information (700) illustrated in FIG. 7 may be omitted, the order of these components may be changed, and other components may be included.
[0149] In one embodiment, the first information (710) may indicate the attribute values of one or more first product attributes among the main product attributes used to determine (identify) similar products that are compared to the target product, and the product category to which the target product belongs. Here, the main product attribute may refer to a product attribute shared by the target product and similar products. In other words, the target product and similar products may have attribute values that correspond to each other (identical relationship or compatible relationship) with respect to the main product attribute. Meanwhile, the first product attribute may also be expressed as a representative product attribute as part of the main product attributes. For representative product attribute information (710), please refer to the description of FIG. 8.
[0150] In one embodiment, the second information (720) may include detailed information about the target product. For details on the second information (720), please refer to the description in FIG. 9.
[0151] In one embodiment, the third information (730) may include detailed information (730-1, …, 730-N) of each of one or more similar products that are compared to the target product. For detailed information (730-1, …, 730-N) of similar products, reference may be made to the description in FIG. 10 .
[0152] For example, based on the priority among one or more similar products, the details of the similar product with the highest priority among the one or more similar products may be displayed in order within the third area.
[0153] For example, detailed information of similar products with high priority may be displayed in order, closer to the detailed information of the target product within the second area.
[0154] For example, the priority between one or more similar products can be determined based on the price of each similar product. Specifically, the priority between one or more similar products can be determined such that lower prices give higher priority.
[0155] For example, the priority between one or more similar products can be determined based on the weight of each similar product. Specifically, the priority between one or more similar products can be determined such that products with a weight closer to the target product's weight are given a higher priority. Another example could be the priority between one or more similar products such that products with a lighter weight are given a higher priority.
[0156] For example, the priority between one or more similar products can be determined based on the sales volume of each similar product. Specifically, the priority between one or more similar products can be determined so that products with higher sales volumes are given higher priority.
[0157] For example, the priority between one or more similar products can be determined based on their ratings. Specifically, the priority between one or more similar products can be determined such that a higher rating gives a higher priority.
[0158] For example, priority among one or more similar products can be determined based on the price and weight of each similar product. For example, priority among one or more similar products can be determined such that products with a lower price and a weight close to the target product are given higher priority. Another example could be determined such that products with the same price as the target product are given higher priority if they are heavier.
[0159] For example, the priority between one or more similar products can be determined based on the weight and sales volume of each similar product. Specifically, similar products with a weight closer to the target product and a higher sales volume can be given a higher priority.
[0160] For example, the priority between one or more similar products can be determined based on the weight and rating of each similar product. Specifically, the priority between one or more similar products can be determined such that products with a weight closer to the target product and a higher rating are given higher priority.
[0161] For example, the priority between one or more similar products can be determined based on secondary product attributes. Here, secondary product attributes can refer to the remaining product attributes, excluding primary product attributes, of multiple products within the product category to which the target product belongs. In other words, secondary product attributes can be product attributes that are not used to determine which similar products are compared to the target product. Specifically, the priority between one or more similar products can be determined such that a higher priority is assigned to similar products that share a greater number of secondary product attributes with the target product. Specifically, the priority between one or more similar products can be determined by assigning a higher priority to similar products that have the same secondary product attribute value as the target product. For example, if the product category is "beef," the secondary product attribute is "brand," and the target product's attribute value for "brand" is "Company A," the priority between one or more similar products can be determined such that among the similar products, the similar product whose "brand" attribute value is "Company A" is given a higher priority than other similar products. For example, if the secondary product attribute is “grade” and the target product attribute value for “grade” is “grade 1,” the priority among one or more similar products can be determined so that among one or more similar products, a similar product having the attribute value for “grade” as “grade 1” has a higher priority than other similar products.
[0162] In one embodiment, the second information (720) and the third information (730) may be displayed in the form of a table within the comparison information (700). In this case, the comparison information (700) may also be expressed as a comparison table.
[0163] For example, corresponding information within the second information (720) and the third information (730) may be displayed in the same row within the table.
[0164] For example, the image of the target product in the second information (720) and the image of a similar product in the third information (730) may be displayed in the same row in the table.
[0165] For example, the product name of the target product in the second information (720) and the product name of a similar product in the third information (730) may be displayed in the same row in the table.
[0166] For example, the attribute values of the target product for the main product attribute in the second information (720) and the attribute values of similar products for the corresponding product attribute in the third information (730) may be displayed in the same row in the table.
[0167] For example, the attribute values of the target product for the secondary product attribute in the second information (720) and the attribute values of similar products for the corresponding product attribute in the third information (730) may be displayed in the same row in the table.
[0168] For example, a first interface for adding a target product in the second information (720) to a shopping cart and a second interface for adding a similar product in the third information (730) to a shopping cart may be displayed in the same row within the table.
[0169] In one embodiment, the second area where the second information (710) is displayed may be a fixed area, and the third area where the third information (730) is displayed may be a scrollable area.
[0170] For example, even if a user scrolls a second area where second information (720) is displayed in the comparative information (700) displayed on the display of the user terminal (120), the second information (720) may be fixed and displayed. Conversely, if a user scrolls a third area where third information (730) is displayed in the comparative information (700) displayed on the display of the user terminal (120), the displayed third information (730) may move depending on the scroll direction, and if the scrolling degree is greater than a predetermined range, third information (730) of another similar product may be displayed.
[0171] In one embodiment, the second area where the second information (720) is displayed may have a first shape, and the third area where the third information (730) is displayed may have a second shape.
[0172] For example, the second area can be displayed as having a first color (pattern) and the third area can be displayed as having a second color (pattern), so that they are morphologically distinct from each other.
[0173] FIG. 8 is a drawing for explaining first information (800) regarding representative product attributes (810) according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0174] In one embodiment, the first information (800) may represent a representative product attribute (810) composed of an attribute value of one or more first product attributes that are at least part of one or more main product attributes used to determine (identify) similar products that are compared to the target product and a product category to which the target product belongs.
[0175] For example, the first information (710) may include text indicating attribute values of one or more first product attributes and a product category to which the target product belongs. As a specific example, if the product category of the target product is "beef" and "country of origin" and "purpose" are the first product attributes, the first information (710) may include text combining the category to which the target product belongs, "beef," the attribute value of "country of origin" being "domestic," and the attribute value of "purpose" being "for grilling."
[0176] For example, among one or more primary product attributes, one or more product attributes with a high priority may be determined as the primary product attribute. Here, the number of product attributes determined as the primary product attributes among the primary product attributes may be predetermined or determined based on the number of primary product attributes.
[0177] For example, the priority between one or more primary product attributes may be determined based on the user's purchase history of products within the target product's product category. Specifically, if the user has a purchase history of a specific product within the target product's product category, and the target product and the specific product purchased by the user share one or more primary product attributes, the specific primary product attribute may be determined to have a higher priority than the other primary product attributes.
[0178] For example, the priority between one or more primary product attributes may be determined based on the user's history of selecting products within the target product's product category. For example, if the user has previously selected a specific product within the target product's product category and been presented with the first page for that specific product, and the target product and the product selected by the user share a specific primary product attribute, the specific primary product attribute may be determined to have a higher priority than the other primary product attributes.
[0179] For example, the priority between one or more primary product attributes may be determined based on the user's history of adding products belonging to the target product's product category to their shopping cart. Specifically, if a user has a history of adding a specific product belonging to the target product's product category to their shopping cart, and the target product and the product the user added to their shopping cart share one or more primary product attributes, the specific primary product attribute may be determined to have a higher priority than the other primary product attributes.
[0180] For example, the priority between one or more primary product attributes may be determined based on the user's search history for products within the target product's product category. Specifically, if the user has a history of searching for a specific product within the target product's product category, and the target product and the specific product the user searched for share one or more primary product attributes, the specific primary product attribute may be determined to have a higher priority than the other product attributes.
[0181] For example, the priority between one or more main product attributes may be determined based on the number of similar products that share the main product attribute with the target product. As a specific example, if the number of similar products that have attribute values that correspond (either identical or compatible) to the attribute values of the target product for a specific main product attribute among one or more main product attributes is greater than the number of similar products that have attribute values that correspond to the attribute values of the target product for another main product attribute, the specific main product attribute may be determined to have a higher priority than the other main product attributes. For example, if the main product attributes are “weight” and “origin,” and the target product has an attribute value of “300g” for “weight” and an attribute value of “domestic” for “origin,” if there are three similar products that have an attribute value of “300g” for “weight” and five similar products that have an attribute value of “domestic” for “origin,” “origin” can be determined to have a higher priority than “weight.”
[0182] FIG. 9 is a drawing for explaining second information (900) about a target product according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0183] In one embodiment, the second information (900) regarding the target product may include at least one of detailed information of the target product, such as an image (910), summary information (920), product attribute information (930), and an interface (940) for adding the target product to a shopping cart. Meanwhile, some of the components of the second information (900) regarding the target product illustrated in FIG. 9 may be omitted, the order of these components may be changed, and other components may be included.
[0184] For example, the image (910) may be an image set as a representative among multiple images for the target product.
[0185] For example, the summary information (920) may include at least one of the product name, purchase price, price per unit, applicable membership benefits, or rating.
[0186] For example, product attribute information (930) may include attribute values that the target product has for the main product attribute. Here, product attribute information (930) may include attribute values that the target product has for the remaining second product attributes, excluding the first product attribute selected as the representative product attribute among one or more main product attributes.
[0187] For example, product attribute information (930) may include attribute values that the target product has for secondary product attributes.
[0188] Meanwhile, although the product attribute information (930) of FIG. 9 illustrates that the attribute values of the target product for the main product attribute and the attribute values of the target product for the secondary product attribute are displayed alternately, the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, the attribute values of the target product for the main product attribute may be displayed starting from the upper portion of the area where the product attribute information (930) is displayed, and then the attribute values of the target product for the secondary product attribute may be displayed successively. Here, the attribute values of the target product for the main product attribute with a high priority may be displayed in order starting from the upper portion of the area where the product attribute information (930) is displayed. In addition, when the attribute values of the target product for the secondary product attribute are displayed following the attribute values of the target product for the main product attribute, the attribute values of the target product for the secondary product attribute with a high priority may be displayed in order. At this time, the priority between one or more secondary product attributes may be determined so that the secondary product attribute with a large number of similar products having the same attribute values as the attribute values of the target product has a high priority. That is, if the product category of the target product is "beef", "cut" and "brand" are secondary product attributes, and the target product has "beef ribs" as an attribute value for "cut" and "Company A" as an attribute value for "brand", and among one or more similar products, the number of similar products that have "beef ribs" as an attribute value for "cut" is three, and the number of similar products that have "Company A" as an attribute value for "brand" is two, then "cut" can be determined to have a higher priority than "brand".
[0189] In one embodiment, the image (910) or summary information (920) may include an interface for requesting a first page (300, 400, 500) for the target product.
[0190] For example, when a user selects an image (910) or summary information (920) displayed on the display of the user terminal (120), the user terminal (120) may transmit a request for the first page (300, 400, 500) for the target product to the electronic device (110). In this case, the electronic device (110) may transmit display information to the user terminal (120) that causes the first page to be displayed. Based on the display information, the first page (300, 400, 500) may be displayed on the display of the user terminal (120), thereby providing the first page (300, 400, 500) to the user.
[0191] In one embodiment, the target product can be added to the user's shopping cart (a list of product candidates for purchase) via the interface (940).
[0192] For example, when a user selects an interface (940) displayed on a display of a user terminal (120), the user terminal (120) may transmit the user's selection input for the interface (940) to the electronic device (110). Here, the user's selection input for the interface (940) may include a request to add a target product to a shopping cart. The electronic device (110) may add the target product to the user's shopping cart based on the user's selection input. That is, the electronic device (110) may update the shopping cart by adding the target product to the user's shopping cart. In addition, the electronic device (110) may transmit notification information to the user terminal (120) notifying that the target product has been added to the shopping cart. In this case, notification information notifying that the target product has been added to the shopping cart may be displayed on the display of the user terminal (120).
[0193] FIG. 10 is a drawing for explaining third information (1000) regarding a similar product that is a comparison target of a target product according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0194] In one embodiment, the third information (1000) regarding similar products may include at least one of detailed information regarding the similar products, such as an image (1010), summary information (1020), product attribute information (1030), and an interface (1040) for adding similar products to a shopping cart. Meanwhile, some of the components of the third information (1000) regarding similar products illustrated in FIG. 10 may be omitted, the order of these components may be changed, and other components may be included.
[0195] For example, image (1010) may be an image set as a representative among multiple images for similar products.
[0196] For example, the summary information (1020) may include at least one of the product name, purchase price, price per unit, applicable membership benefits, or rating.
[0197] For example, product attribute information (1030) may include attribute values possessed by similar products for the main product attribute. Here, product attribute information (1030) may include attribute values possessed by similar products for the remaining second product attributes, excluding the first product attribute selected as the representative product attribute among one or more main product attributes.
[0198] For example, product attribute information (1030) may include attribute values that similar products have for secondary product attributes.
[0199] Meanwhile, although the product attribute information (1030) of FIG. 10 illustrates that the attribute values of similar products for the main product attribute and the attribute values of similar products for the secondary product attribute are displayed alternately, the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For the display method of the attribute values of similar products for the main product attribute and the attribute values of similar products for the secondary product attribute, reference may be made to the description of FIG. 9.
[0200] In one embodiment, the image (1010) or summary information (1020) may include an interface for requesting a first page for similar products. Here, the first page for a similar product may include detailed information about the similar product. Meanwhile, the similar product that is the target of comparison for the target product may be referred to as a primary similar product. Furthermore, the similar product that is the target of comparison for the primary similar product may be referred to as a secondary similar product. For example, the first page for the primary similar product may include comparative information between the primary similar product and the secondary similar product. For the first page, reference may be made to the descriptions of FIGS. 3 to 5.
[0201] For example, when a user selects an image (1010) or summary information (1020) displayed on the display of the user terminal (120), the user terminal (120) may transmit a request for a first page of similar products to the electronic device (110). In this case, the electronic device (110) may transmit display information to the user terminal (120) that causes the first page of similar products to be displayed. Based on the display information, the first page of similar products may be displayed on the display of the user terminal (120), thereby providing the user with the first page (300, 400, 500) of similar products.
[0202] In one embodiment, similar products can be added to a user's shopping cart (a list of product candidates for purchase) via the interface (1040).
[0203] For example, when a user selects an interface (1040) displayed on a display of a user terminal (120), the user terminal (120) may transmit the user's selection input for the interface (1040) to the electronic device (110). Here, the user's selection input for the interface (1040) may include a request to add a similar product to a shopping cart. The electronic device (110) may add the similar product to the user's shopping cart based on the user's selection input. That is, the electronic device (110) may update the shopping cart by adding the similar product to the user's shopping cart. In addition, the electronic device (110) may transmit notification information to the user terminal (120) notifying that a similar product has been added to the shopping cart. In this case, notification information notifying that a similar product has been added to the shopping cart may be displayed on the display of the user terminal (120).
[0204] FIG. 11 is a flowchart illustrating an operation of a method for providing product comparison information according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0205] Referring to FIG. 11, at step 1110, the electronic device (110) may receive a request from the user for a first page regarding a first product belonging to a first product category. Here, the first product may be a target product selected by the user. Additionally, the first page regarding the first product may be a page containing detailed information about the first product.
[0206] At step 1120, the electronic device (110) can determine (identify) multiple product attributes for multiple products belonging to the first product category.
[0207] In one embodiment, a list of product attributes may be set for each product category. That is, multiple products belonging to a product category may have attribute values for each of multiple product attributes within the product attribute list set for that product category.
[0208] For example, the electronic device (110) can determine multiple product attributes for multiple products belonging to the first product category by identifying a list of product attributes set for the first product category. For example, if the first product category is “beef,” the electronic device (110) can determine “country of origin,” “purpose,” “storage method,” “weight,” “part,” “grade,” and “brand” as multiple product attributes for multiple products belonging to the “beef” category. For example, if the first product category is “pork,” the electronic device (110) can determine “country of origin,” “part,” “storage method,” “weight,” “use,” “grade,” and “brand” as multiple product attributes for multiple products belonging to the “pork” category. For example, if the first product category is “chicken,” the electronic device (110) can determine “country of origin,” “part,” “weight,” “purpose,” “manufacturing environment,” and “brand” as multiple product attributes for multiple products belonging to the “chicken” category.
[0209] In one embodiment, each of the plurality of product attributes may include at least one of a tangible (physical) attribute or an intangible (non-physical) attribute.
[0210] For example, a type attribute may include at least one of size, weight, color, material, or shape. The attribute value of a type attribute may be either a range attribute value or a numeric attribute value.
[0211] For example, an intangible attribute may include at least one of brand, price, use, grade, storage method, country of origin, part, or manufacturing environment. The attribute value of an intangible attribute may be one of a range attribute value, a numeric attribute value, a binary attribute value, or an ordinal attribute value.
[0212] At step 1130, the electronic device (110) can determine (identify) a primary product attribute among multiple product attributes.
[0213] In one embodiment, the electronic device (110) can determine priorities among multiple product attributes, and determine at least some of the multiple product attributes in order of highest determined priorities as primary product attributes.
[0214] For example, the priority between multiple product attributes can be preset by the operator of the e-commerce service.
[0215] For example, the priority between multiple product attributes can be determined by the electronic device (110).
[0216] As a specific example, the electronic device (110) may determine a priority among multiple product attributes based on product attributes of products purchased by other users. To this end, the electronic device (110) may identify one or more products purchased by multiple other users from among multiple products belonging to a first product category. The electronic device (110) may identify a product attribute for which one or more products have the same attribute value from among one or more product attributes of one or more products. In other words, the electronic device (110) may identify a product attribute shared by one or more products. The electronic device (110) may determine a priority among the multiple product attributes such that the identified product attribute has a higher priority than other product attributes.
[0217] As a specific example, the electronic device (110) may determine the priority among multiple product attributes based on the user's product purchase history. To this end, the electronic device (110) may identify the user's product purchase history. The electronic device (110) may identify product attributes shared by one or more products in a first product category purchased by the user. The electronic device (110) may determine the priority among the multiple product attributes by assigning a higher priority to the identified product attribute than to other product attributes.
[0218] As a specific example, the electronic device (110) can determine the priority among multiple product attributes based on the user's product selection history. To this end, the electronic device (110) can identify the user's product selection history. The electronic device (110) can identify product attributes shared by one or more products in the first product category selected by the user. The electronic device (110) can determine the priority among the multiple product attributes by assigning a higher priority to the identified product attribute than to other product attributes.
[0219] As a specific example, the electronic device (110) may determine the priority among multiple product attributes based on the user's shopping cart addition history. To this end, the electronic device (110) may identify the user's shopping cart addition history. The electronic device (110) may identify product attributes shared by one or more products in a first product category that the user has added to the shopping cart. The electronic device (110) may determine the priority among multiple products by assigning a higher priority to the identified product attribute than to other product attributes.
[0220] As a specific example, the electronic device (110) may determine the priority among multiple product attributes based on the user's product search history. To this end, the electronic device (110) may identify the user's product search history. The electronic device (110) may identify product attributes shared by one or more products in the first product category searched by the user. The electronic device (110) may determine the priority among the multiple products by assigning a higher priority to the identified attribute than to other product attributes.
[0221] For example, the electronic device (110) may identify the top N product attributes with high priority among a plurality of product attributes as primary product attributes. Here, the number of primary product attributes, N, may be individually set for each product category. That is, the number of primary product attributes for a first product category may be set to a first value, and the number of primary product attributes for a second product category, which is different from the first product category, may be set to a second value. The first and second values may be the same. Alternatively, the first and second values may be different.
[0222] In one embodiment, the electronic device (110) can identify the remaining product attributes, excluding the primary product attributes, among the plurality of product attributes as secondary product attributes.
[0223] At step 1140, the electronic device (110) may determine (identify) one or more second products, different from the first product, among a plurality of products belonging to the first product category based on the main product attributes, as a comparison target for the first product. Here, the second product may be a similar product to the first product.
[0224] In one embodiment, the electronic device (110) can identify a first attribute value of a first product for a main product attribute. The electronic device (110) can identify one or more products among a plurality of products that have a second attribute value corresponding to the first attribute value of the first product for the main product attribute. That is, the electronic device (110) can identify one or more products among a plurality of products that have a second attribute value that corresponds to the first attribute value for the main product attribute. Here, the correspondence relationship may be an identical relationship or a compatible relationship. That is, the electronic device (110) can identify one or more products among a plurality of products that have a second attribute value that is identical to the first attribute value of the first product for the main product attribute. Alternatively, the electronic device (110) can identify a range of the first attribute value of the first product for the main product attribute, and one or more products that have a second attribute value that falls within the range of the first attribute value for the main product attribute. Here, the range for the first attribute value may be determined based on the error range set for the main product attribute. The electronic device (110) may identify at least some of the identified one or more products as one or more second products. Here, the number M of one or more second products may be preset by the e-commerce service provider. Alternatively, the number M of one or more second products may be determined based on the number (N) of the main product attributes. As a specific example, M may be an integer multiple of N.
[0225] At step 1150, the electronic device (110) may provide a user with a first page including comparison information of a first product and one or more second products.
[0226] In one embodiment, the comparison information may include information about representative product attributes.
[0227] For example, a representative product attribute may be composed of one or more first product attributes and a first product category of the first product, in descending order of priority among one or more main product attributes. To this end, the electronic device (110) may determine one or more first product attributes in descending order of priority among one or more main product attributes. Here, the number of product attributes determined as first product attributes among one or more main product attributes may be predetermined or determined based on the number of one or more main product attributes.
[0228] Meanwhile, if the electronic device (110) determines priorities among the multiple product attributes in the process of determining one or more main product attributes from among the multiple product attributes, it can determine one or more first product attributes in order of priority among the one or more main product attributes based on the determined priorities. In other words, the electronic device (110) does not need to perform an operation of determining priorities among one or more main product attributes separately from an operation of determining priorities among the multiple product attributes. This is because the priorities among one or more main product attributes are naturally determined while determining priorities among the multiple product attributes.
[0229] In addition, when the electronic device (110) determines one or more main product attributes among the multiple product attributes based on the priorities among the multiple product attributes preset by the business operator of the e-commerce service, the electronic device (110) may determine the priorities among the one or more main product attributes separately from the priorities among the multiple product attributes, and based on the determined priorities, determine one or more first product attributes among the one or more main product attributes in order of highest priority. Here, the priorities among the multiple product attributes may be expressed as first priority, and the priorities among the one or more main product attributes may be expressed as second priority. Through this, the priorities among the product attributes preset by the business operator may be dynamically adjusted.
[0230] For example, the electronic device (110) may determine a priority among one or more primary product attributes based on the user's purchase history of products within the first product category to which the first product belongs. Specifically, if the user has a purchase history of products within the first product category to which the first product belongs, the electronic device (110) may set a higher priority among one or more primary product attributes to a product attribute identical to the product attribute of the product purchased by the user over other product attributes.
[0231] For example, the electronic device (110) may determine a priority among one or more primary product attributes based on the user's history of selecting a product within the first product category to which the first product belongs. As a specific example, if the user has a history of selecting a product within the first product category to which the first product belongs and being provided with a first page for that product, the electronic device (110) may set a higher priority among one or more primary product attributes to the product attribute identical to the product attribute selected by the user over other product attributes.
[0232] For example, the electronic device (110) may determine the search history based on the user's search history for products within the first product category to which the first product belongs. As a specific example, if the user has a search history for products within the first product category to which the first product belongs, the electronic device (110) may set a higher priority for product attributes among one or more main product attributes that are identical to the product attributes of the product searched by the user over other product attributes.
[0233] For example, the electronic device (110) may set a higher priority for a main product attribute among one or more main product attributes, among which there are a large number of similar products having the same attribute value as that of the first product, than for other product attributes. As a specific example, if the main product attributes are “weight” and “storage method,” and the first product has an attribute value of “300g” for “weight” and an attribute value of “refrigeration” for “storage method,” if the number of similar products having an attribute value of “300g” for “weight” is 4 and the number of similar products having an attribute value of “refrigeration” for “storage method” is 6, the electronic device (110) may set a higher priority for “storage method” than for “weight.”
[0234] In one embodiment, the comparison information may include at least one of detailed information of the first product or detailed information of each of one or more second products.
[0235] For example, the detailed information of the first product may include at least one of the following: an attribute value of the first product for a primary product attribute, an attribute value of the first product for a secondary product attribute, or a first interface for adding the first product to a shopping cart. For detailed information on the first product, please refer to the description in FIG. 9.
[0236] For example, the detailed information of each of one or more second products may include at least one of the following: an attribute value of the second product for a primary product attribute, an attribute value of the second product for a secondary product attribute, or a second interface for adding the second product to a shopping cart. For detailed information about the second product, please refer to the description in FIG. 10.
[0237] In one embodiment, the comparison information may be displayed in a specific area within a second page that overlaps the first page in at least some area within the first page.
[0238] For example, the first page may include an interface for requesting comparison information.
[0239] For example, an electronic device (110) that receives a user's selection input for an interface to request comparison information may provide the user with a second page including the comparison information.
[0240] For example, the second page may start out as an overlay on at least a portion of the bottom of the first page, slide toward the top of the first page by a predetermined range, and then be displayed as an overlay on at least a portion of the first page.
[0241] For example, an electronic device (110) that receives a user's selection input for removing or reducing a second page (600) may provide the user with the first page with the second page removed or reduced.
[0242] In one embodiment, detailed information about a first product may be displayed within a first region of a specific area where comparative information is displayed. Additionally, detailed information about one or more second products may be displayed within a second region of the specific area where comparative information is displayed. Additionally, information about representative product attributes may be displayed within a third region of the specific area where comparative information is displayed.
[0243] For example, based on the priority among one or more second products, the details of the second product with the highest priority among the one or more second products may be displayed in order within the second area. As a specific example, the details of the second product with the highest priority may be displayed in order, closer to the details of the first product within the second area.
[0244] For example, the electronic device (110) may determine a ranking among one or more second products. As a specific example, the electronic device (110) may determine a priority among one or more second products based on the price of each of the one or more second products. As another example, the electronic device (110) may determine a priority among one or more second products based on the weight of each of the one or more second products. As another example, the electronic device (110) may determine a priority among one or more second products based on the rating of each of the one or more second products. As another example, the electronic device (110) may determine a priority among one or more second products based on the price and weight of each of the one or more second products. As another example, the electronic device (110) may determine a priority among one or more second products based on the weight and sales volume of each of the one or more second products. As another example, the electronic device (110) may determine a priority among one or more second products based on the weight and rating of each of the one or more second products. As another example, the electronic device (110) may determine a priority between one or more secondary products based on one or more secondary product attributes. For details on determining a priority between one or more secondary products, see the description in FIG. 7 .
[0245] Meanwhile, the electronic device (110) may receive information from the user regarding a criterion for determining the priority between one or more second products. Here, the criterion may include at least one of "price," "weight," "rating," or "sales volume." That is, when the user selects a criterion for determining the priority between one or more second products on the first or second page displayed on the display of the user terminal (120), the user terminal (120) may transmit information regarding the criterion to the electronic device (110). Here, an interface for selecting a criterion may be displayed in at least a portion of the first or second page. Accordingly, the electronic device (110) may determine the priority between one or more second products based on the criterion selected by the user. In addition, the electronic device (110) may also receive information regarding the criterion for determining the priority between one or more second products from an e-commerce service provider. For example, the electronic device (110) may receive a selection input from a business operator for a criterion through an input device, or may receive information about the criterion from another device operated by the business operator.
[0246] The present disclosure has described a method for providing comparison information between a target product and one or more similar products as comparison targets.
