This disclosure establishes proteins useful for producing / releasing soluble forms of phosphorus in plant growth media and fertilizers, as well as formulations comprising such proteins, polynucleotides encoding such proteins, organisms expressing the aforementioned proteins, and methods of using such proteins, formulations, polynucleotides, and organisms in agriculture and other fields of activity.
