Procedures for monitoring a cable car

Abstract

A method for improved monitoring of a cableway (20) is disclosed to increase safety, particularly during operation, wherein a longitudinal measurement (X) and a transverse measurement (Y, Z) are simultaneously recorded at at least one time (t) by a number of sensors (3) on at least one cableway support (1), wherein an evaluation unit (4) of the cableway (20) receives and processes the longitudinal measurement (X) and transverse measurement (Y, Z) simultaneously recorded at the at least one time (t) from the number of sensors (3), wherein in the evaluation unit (4) a defined mathematical relationship is established between the longitudinal measurement (X) and transverse measurement (Y, Z) simultaneously recorded at the at least one time (t) and a result is determined from the defined mathematical relationship, wherein if a predetermined condition is satisfied by the determined result,The evaluation unit (4) signals a problem with the cable car (20) to a control unit (5) of the cable car (20) for monitoring, and the control unit (5) controls the cable car (20) depending on the problem signaled by the evaluation unit (4).
