Acetoacetoxy-functionalized polyalkylene glycols and their uses

Abstract

A crosslinking agent is provided for use in a colorant composition, paint composition, or coating composition, wherein the crosslinking agent contains a polyalkylene glycol including at least one acetoacetoxy group, wherein the glycol has an Mw of 400 to 3000, together with colorant compositions, base coating compositions, tinted coating compositions, systems for reducing thinning in a base coating composition, dye compositions, and substrates coated using the crosslinking agent.
