AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

When the vehicle is driving, the bottom wall of the oil pan collides with the curb stone, causing deformation, which may come into contact with the suction inlet of the oil filter, resulting in a reduction in the area of the suction inlet opening and affecting the oil suction efficiency.

Method used

The bottom wall portion of the oil pan has a protruding portion protruding toward the suction port side. The protruding portion contacts the suction port when it collides, and the pushing suction port deforms to the upward side, thereby maintaining the spacing between the suction port and the bottom wall portion and ensuring the opening area.

Benefits of technology

Effectively prevent the area of the suction inlet opening to reduce, ensure the suction efficiency of oil, reduce the deviation between the oil pan and the gearbox connection surface, and improve the stability of the oil storage structure.

[0005] Problems to be solved by the invention

[0006] The suction port of the oil filter is arranged opposite to the bottom wall of the oil pan at a distance. When the vehicle drives over a curbstone, if the bottom wall of the oil pan collides with the curbstone and deforms, it may come into contact with the suction port of the oil filter, reducing the opening area of the suction port.

[0007] In the oil storage structure of the transmission, even if the bottom wall portion of the oil pan is deformed and contacts the suction port of the oil filter, it is required to ensure the opening area of the suction port. Summary of the invention

[0008] The oil storage structure of the gearbox of the present invention comprises: an oil pan, which blocks the lower opening of the gearbox and forms an oil storage portion in the lower space inside the gearbox; an oil filter, which positions the oil suction port in the oil storage portion, the oil suction port is arranged opposite to the bottom wall of the oil pan with a gap therebetween, and a convex portion protruding toward the suction port side is formed on the bottom wall of the oil pan, and the convex portion is formed in a direction transverse to the suction port when viewed from the bottom wall side.

[0009] According to the present invention, when the bottom wall of the oil pan collides with a curbstone or the like and deforms, the convex portion protruding from the bottom wall toward the suction port contacts the suction port and pushes the suction port upward, so that the suction port deforms in a direction away from the bottom wall. Thus, the interval between the suction port and the bottom wall can be ensured, and the opening area of the suction port for sucking oil can be ensured. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0051] Figure 1 2 is a diagram showing a schematic structure of the interior of the transmission 1. Figure 1 In the embodiment, the components other than the main components are schematically indicated by virtual lines. Figure 1 In the figure, the right side of the drawing is the front side of the vehicle, and the left side of the drawing is the rear side of the vehicle.

[0052] like Figure 1 As shown, a storage chamber 2 for storing components (not shown) constituting a transmission mechanism such as a pulley is formed at the upper portion of the transmission 1, and a valve chamber 4 for storing a control valve body 3 is formed at the lower portion of the transmission 1. The lower portion of the valve chamber 4 is open, and the oil pan 5 blocks the lower opening 41 thereof.

[0053] Oil OL used for lubrication, cooling, torque transmission, etc. of components accommodated in the accommodation chamber 2 is accommodated in the transmission case 1 .

[0054] In the valve chamber 4 , an oil reservoir OP for storing the oil OL is formed by the oil pan 5 that closes the wall surface of the valve chamber 4 and the lower opening 41 of the valve chamber 4 .

[0055] An oil filter 6 for filtering the oil OL is mounted on the lower side of the control valve body 3 , and an oil pump 7 for sucking the oil OL is mounted on the upper side.

[0056] When the oil pump 7 is operated, the oil OL is sucked from the oil reservoir OP, filtered through the oil filter 6, and then sucked into the oil pump 7. The oil pump 7 pressurizes the oil OL and supplies it to the control valve body 3. The control valve body 3 regulates the pressure of the supplied oil OL and supplies it to the speed change mechanism inside the storage chamber 2 through an oil passage (not shown).

[0057] The upper end of the valve chamber 4 is provided with an upper opening 42 communicating with the storage chamber 2. The oil OL supplied to the speed change mechanism falls directly from the speed change mechanism or returns to the valve chamber 4 from the upper opening 42 along the wall of the storage chamber 2 and is stored in the oil reservoir OP.

[0058] Although the control valve body 3 is omitted from the diagram and detailed description, it is internally provided with an oil pressure control circuit including a regulating valve (pressure regulating valve) for regulating the discharge pressure of the oil pump 7 to a specified pressure, an oil path through which the oil OL passes, a sliding column for switching the oil path through which the oil OL passes, and a pressure regulating valve for regulating the pressure of the oil OL acting on the transmission mechanism.

[0059] Figure 2 (a) is a side view of the oil filter 6, Figure 2 (b) is a diagram showing the suction port 66 of the oil filter 6 as viewed from below.

[0060] like Figure 2 As shown in (a), the oil filter 6 is composed of an upper shell 61 and a lower shell 62. Flanges 63 and 64 are formed on the outer peripheral edges of the lower portion of the upper shell 61 and the upper portion of the lower shell 62, respectively, and the respective flanges 63 and 64 overlap and are combined in the upper shell 61 and the lower shell 62. Although not shown in the figure, a filter such as a non-woven fabric that filters the oil OL is sandwiched between the overlapping flanges 63 and 64.

[0061] A suction pipe 65 for sucking the oil OL is provided at the lower portion of the lower casing 62 . The suction pipe 65 is provided to protrude downward from the lower casing 62 , and a suction port 66 is opened at the front end of the suction pipe 65 .

[0062] An outflow pipe 67 for the oil OL is provided at the upper portion of the upper housing 61. The outflow pipe 67 and the suction pipe 65 are arranged offset in the front-rear direction of the vehicle. Figure 1 ) is connected, and the oil OL sucked up from the suction port 66 and filtered by the filter inside the oil filter 6 (not shown) is supplied to the oil pump 7 through the outflow pipe 67.

[0063] like Figure 2As shown in (b), the suction port 66 is a rounded rectangular opening when viewed from below. The long side 66a extends in a straight line, and the short side 66b is curved in a semicircular shape. The long side 66a of the suction port 66 is arranged along the width direction of the vehicle, and the short side 66b is arranged along the front-rear direction of the vehicle. In addition, the suction port 66 may be a simple rectangular shape, or may be an elliptical shape such as an ellipse. Figure 2 As shown in (a) of FIG. 8 , the suction port 66 is inclined obliquely upward from the long side 66a on the vehicle front side toward the long side 66a on the vehicle rear side.

[0064] Figure 3 This is a perspective view of the oil pan 5 as seen from below.

[0065] Figure 4 This is a diagram showing the oil pan 5 as viewed from above.

[0066] Figure 5 It is an enlarged view of the facing portion 55 of the oil pan 5 .

[0067] like Figure 3 As shown in FIG. 1 , the oil pan 5 includes a plate-shaped bottom wall portion 51 and a peripheral wall portion 52 surrounding the outer periphery of the bottom wall portion 51. The peripheral wall portion 52 is connected to the outer periphery of the bottom wall portion 51 at the lower end side. Figure 3 , a cross-sectional view of a portion surrounded by a dotted line is shown, but a recessed portion 53 is formed near the lower end of the peripheral wall portion 52 so that the wall surface of the peripheral wall portion 52 is recessed inward. The recessed portion 53 is formed over the entire circumference of the peripheral wall portion 52.

[0068] A flange 54 is formed on the upper end side of the peripheral wall portion 52. Figure 1 As shown, the flange 54 serves as a butting surface with the lower opening 41 of the transmission case 1. The flange 54 is mounted on the lower opening 41 of the transmission case 1 by bolts or the like.

[0069] When the oil pan 5 is mounted on the transmission 1, the upper surface 51a of the bottom wall 51 faces the suction port 66 of the oil filter 6 with a gap therebetween. When viewed from above, the portion where the bottom wall 51 overlaps the suction port 66 is hereinafter referred to as the "opposing portion 55". The opposing portion 55 extends in a direction away from the suction port 66, i.e., downward. As a result, the bottom surface of the oil reservoir OP formed by the upper surface 51a of the bottom wall 51 sinks into the opposing portion 55 and becomes deeper, and even when the oil reservoir OP flows due to the movement of the vehicle, the suction port 66 is adjusted to be located in the oil reservoir OP.

[0070] like Figure 4 As shown, the facing portion 55 is a rounded rectangular shape corresponding to the shape of the suction port 66, with a straight long side 55a arranged along the vehicle width direction and a semicircular short side 55b arranged along the vehicle front-rear direction.

[0071] In addition, the relative portion 55 can be any size as long as it overlaps the suction port 66 when viewed from above, and for example, it can be formed to be larger than the opening area of the suction port 66. In addition, like the suction port 66, the simple relative portion 55 can be a simple rectangular shape, or can be an elliptical shape such as an ellipse.

[0072] like Figure 5 As shown in FIG. 1 , two convex portions 56 are formed on the opposing portion 55 and protrude from the surface on the upper surface 51a side of the opposing portion 55. The convex portions 56 extend in the vehicle front-rear direction and are formed from the long side 55a on the vehicle front side to the long side 55a on the vehicle rear side of the opposing portion 55. The two convex portions 56 are formed on both sides of the center C of the longitudinal direction of the opposing portion 55 and are spaced apart from the center C in the longitudinal direction.

[0073] The convex portion 56 may be formed integrally with the opposing portion 55 by stamping, or may be formed by welding or the like as a weld bead piled up on the surface of the opposing portion 55. When the oil pan 5 is mounted on the transmission case 1, the convex portion 56 formed on the opposing portion 55 faces the suction port 66 of the oil filter 6.

[0074] Figure 6 It is a diagram for explaining the positional relationship between the facing portion 55 of the oil pan 5 and the suction port 66 of the oil filter 6 . Figure 6 The oil filter 6 and the oil pan 5 are shown as viewed from above when the oil pan 5 is mounted on the transmission case 1. For ease of understanding, only the lower case 62 of the oil filter 6 is shown. In addition, the opposing portion 55 of the oil pan 5 is shown by a dotted line. As described above, the suction port 66 of the oil filter 6 overlaps with the opposing portion 55 of the oil pan 5 when viewed from above or below. In the example shown in the figure, the center C of the suction port 66 in the long side direction coincides with the center C of the opposing portion 55 in the long side direction.

[0075] like Figure 6 As shown in the figure, when viewed from above, the convex portion 56 formed on the opposing portion 55 is arranged so as to cross the inlet 66. Specifically, the convex portion 56 is formed so as to cross the inlet 66 in the short-side direction and to intersect the long side 66a on the front side of the vehicle and the long side 66a on the rear side of the vehicle opposite to the inlet 66. In addition, the two convex portions 56 are opposite to the inlet 66 at positions spaced apart from the long-side center C of the inlet 66 on both sides.

[0076] As described above, the facing portion 55 is recessed from the upper surface 51a of the bottom wall portion 51, but in the facing portion 55, the convex portion 56 faces the suction port 66 (see Figure 1 ) side protrusion.

[0077] As described above, the structure of the suction port 66 of the oil filter 6 and the corresponding portion 55 of the oil pan 5 ensures the opening area of the suction port 66 even when the vehicle hits a curb or the like and collides with the oil pan 5 and the oil pan 5 is deformed.

[0078] Figure 7 The figure is a diagram for explaining a state where a vehicle has driven onto a curb.

[0079] like Figure 7 As shown, when a vehicle drives onto a curbstone B, for example, the bottom wall 51 of the oil pan 5 disposed at the bottom of the vehicle may hit the curbstone B. The facing portion 55 extending downward from the bottom wall 51 is particularly likely to contact the curbstone B.

[0080] Figure 8 (a) to (c) are diagrams for explaining the deformation of the oil pan 5 and the oil filter 6 when the oil pan 5 and the oil filter 6 collide with the curbstone B. Figure 8 This is a schematic diagram viewed from the front side of the vehicle, and each part of the oil pan 5 and the oil filter 6 is simplified and exaggerated in the illustration.

[0081] like Figure 8 As shown in (a), when the opposing portion 55 of the oil pan 5 contacts the curb B, a force acts to push the opposing portion 55 upward. Here, when the vehicle drives onto the curb B from the front side, as shown in FIG. Figure 7 As shown, the force that pushes the facing portion 55 upward acts diagonally upward from the front toward the rear of the vehicle.

[0082] like Figure 8 As shown in (b), if the relative portion 55 is pushed upward by the curb B, it approaches the suction port 66 that is spaced apart from the relative portion 55. Here, the relative portion 55 is provided with a convex portion 56, and the convex portion 56 protrudes upward in the relative portion 55 that extends downward from the bottom wall portion 51 of the oil pan 5. Therefore, when the relative portion 55 approaches the suction port 66 that is pushed upward, the convex portion 56 contacts the suction port 66.

[0083] When the convex portion 56 contacts the suction port 66, the upward force applied from the curb B to the opposing portion 55 is transmitted to the suction port 66 through the convex portion 56. Figure 8 As shown in (c), the suction port 66 is deformed in a manner of being pushed upward. The convex portion 56 pushes the suction port 66 at two positions of the center C in the long side direction of the suction port 66. Therefore, the suction port 66 is deformed in a mountain-shaped manner with the center C in the long side direction as the vertex, and is tilted downward toward both ends in the long side direction. In this way, since the suction port 66 is pushed upward by the convex portion 56 and is pushed upward in the direction away from the relative portion 55, the interval between the suction port 66 and the relative portion 55 is maintained.

[0084] Fig. 9 This is a diagram of the deformed suction port 66 as viewed from below. Fig. 9The upper side is the front side of the vehicle, and the lower side is the rear side of the vehicle. The dotted line indicates the convex portion 56 that contacts the suction port 66. As described above, the force of the curb B pushing the opposing portion 55 of the oil pan 5 upward acts from the front of the vehicle toward the rear and in an obliquely upward direction (see Figure 7 ). Therefore, if Fig. 9 As shown by the blank arrow in the middle, the suction port 66 is also deformed by being pushed obliquely upward from the front of the vehicle toward the rear by the convex portion 56. Therefore, the suction port 66 at the center C of the long side direction between the two convex portions 56 is crushed, but the suction port 66 is deformed in a manner that the opening area is enlarged from the convex portion 56 to the two ends in the long side direction. Therefore, even if it is deformed, the opening area of the suction port 66 can be ensured.

[0085] Fig.10 It is a diagram showing an oil pan 5A of a comparative example, and shows a case where the convex portion 56 and the concave portion 53 are not provided.

[0086] like Fig.10 As shown, when the convex portion 56 is not provided in the opposing portion 55A, the opposing portion 55A pushed upward by the curb B contacts the suction port 66 as a whole, and the suction port 66 may be deformed in such a way that the entirety is crushed. Furthermore, the interval between the suction port 66 and the opposing portion 55A is also narrowed, and it may be difficult to suck the oil OL.

[0087] In an embodiment, if Figure 8 As shown in (c) , since the suction port 66 is pushed up by the convex portion 56 and deformed, the opening area can be ensured and the interval with the opposing portion 55 can also be ensured.

[0088] Furthermore, in the embodiment, a recessed portion 53 is provided near the lower end of the peripheral wall portion 52 of the oil pan 5. The deformation caused by the collision between the bottom wall portion 51 of the oil pan 5 and the curbstone B can also be transmitted to the peripheral wall portion 52 connected to the bottom wall portion 51, and the recessed portion 53 provided near the lower end of the peripheral wall portion 52 plays a role in absorbing the deformation.

[0089] On the other hand, Fig.10 In the comparative example, since the deformation is not absorbed by the recessed portion 53, it is easily transmitted to the upper end of the peripheral wall portion 52A. The upper end of the peripheral wall portion 52A of the oil pan 5A is formed with a lower opening 41 (see Figure 1 ) has a flange 54A on the mating surface. If the flange 54A is deformed, there is a possibility that deviation will occur on the mating surface with the lower opening 41.

[0090] In an embodiment, if Figure 8As shown in (c), by providing the recessed portion 53 between the bottom wall portion 51 and the upper end of the peripheral wall portion 52, the deviation of the mating surface between the oil pan 5 and the transmission case 1 can be reduced. In addition, even when the convex portion 56 provided on the opposing portion 55 of the bottom wall portion 51 contacts the suction port 66, the deformation can be absorbed, so the deformation of the flange 54 on the upper end side is reduced.

[0091] As described above, the storage structure of the oil OL of the transmission 1 according to the embodiment includes:

[0092] (1) The lower opening (41) of the gearbox (1) is blocked to form an oil pan (5) as an oil storage portion in the lower space inside the gearbox (1);

[0093] An oil filter (6) is provided so that an oil (OL) suction port (66) is located in an oil reservoir.

[0094] The oil (OL) suction port (66) is disposed opposite to the bottom wall portion (51) of the oil pan (5) with a gap therebetween.

[0095] A convex portion (56) protruding toward the suction port (66) is formed on the bottom wall portion (51) of the oil pan (5). The convex portion (56) is formed in a direction crossing the suction port (66) when viewed from the bottom wall portion (51).

[0096] Although a gap is provided between the bottom wall portion 51 of the oil pan 5 and the suction port 66 of the oil filter 6, when the oil pan 5 collides with, for example, a curbstone on the road surface, the bottom wall portion 51 is deformed and contacts the suction port 66 of the oil filter 6, which may reduce the opening area of the suction port 66.

[0097] In the embodiment, the convex portion 56 protruding toward the suction port 66 is provided on the bottom wall portion 51 of the oil pan 5, and further, the convex portion 56 is formed in a direction crossing the suction port 66. Therefore, when the bottom wall portion 51 is deformed, the convex portion 56 protruding from the bottom wall portion 51 contacts the suction port 66, and pushes the suction port 66 upward, thereby deforming in a direction away from the bottom wall portion 51. Thus, the interval between the suction port 66 and the bottom wall portion 51 can be ensured, and the opening area of the suction port 66 for sucking the oil OL can be ensured.

[0098] (2) The bottom wall portion 51 of the oil pan 5 is provided with the facing portion 55 which faces the suction port 66 of the oil filter 6 with a gap therebetween and projects in a direction away from the suction port 66 . The convex portion 55 is provided on the facing portion 55 .

[0099] In order to reduce the air intake of the oil filter 6, even if the oil OL in the valve chamber 4 flows due to a sudden start or acceleration of the vehicle, it is required to position the suction port 66 in the oil reservoir OP. Therefore, the oil reservoir OP around the suction port 66 is deepened by extending the opposing portion 55 of the bottom wall portion 51 of the oil pan 5, which opposes the suction port 66 of the oil filter 6, outward. By extending the opposing portion 55, the opposing portion 55 becomes easy to contact with a curbstone, etc., but by providing the convex portion 56 protruding toward the suction port 66 side in the opposing portion 55, the convex portion 56 first contacts the suction port 66 when deformed and pushes the suction port 66 upward, so that it is easy to ensure the interval between the suction port 66 and the opposing portion 55.

[0100] (3) The suction port 66 is rectangular in shape, and the long side 66a (long side) is arranged along the vehicle width direction of the vehicle equipped with the transmission 1. When viewed from the bottom wall 51 side, the convex portion 56 of the bottom wall 51 is formed in a direction transverse to the short side 66b direction (short side direction) of the suction port 66.

[0101] Since the convex portion 56 is partially in contact with the suction port 66, even if the suction port 66 is crushed at the portion where the convex portion 56 is in contact, it is easy to ensure the overall opening area of the suction port 66. Furthermore, by forming the convex portion 56 so as to cross the input port 66, it is easy to evenly apply force to the suction port 66, and the suction port 66 can be appropriately pushed upward. In addition, the suction port 66 is not limited to a rectangular shape, and may also be an elliptical shape.

[0102] (4) When viewed from the bottom wall 51 side, the convex portions 56 of the bottom wall 51 are formed at positions spaced apart from the longitudinal center C (longitudinal center) of the suction port 66 on both sides thereof.

[0103] The convex portion 56 disposed across the center C of the long side direction of the suction port 66 pushes the suction port 66 upward across the center C of the long side direction to deform it. Therefore, the portion of the center C of the long side direction of the suction port 66 becomes easily crushed, but the portion in contact with the convex portion 56 to the two end sides is deformed in a manner that the opening area is enlarged. Thus, it is easy to ensure the opening area of the suction port 66.

[0104] (5) The oil pan 5 is connected to the bottom wall portion 51 at the lower end side, and includes the peripheral wall portion 52 connected to the lower opening 41 of the transmission case 1 at the upper end side.

[0105] Between the bottom wall portion 51 and the upper end of the peripheral wall portion 52 , a recessed portion 53 is provided which is formed by recessing the wall surface of the peripheral wall portion 52 inward.

[0106] If the deformation caused by the collision of the bottom wall portion 51 of the oil pan 5 with a curbstone or the like reaches the upper end of the peripheral wall portion 52, the connection portion with the lower opening 41 of the transmission case 1 may be misaligned, which may reduce the rigidity. By providing the recessed portion 53 at the lower end of the peripheral wall portion 52 connected to the bottom wall portion 51, the stress generated by the deformation of the bottom wall portion 51 is absorbed by the recessed portion 53, so that the deformation of the upper end side can be reduced, the connection deviation with the lower opening 41 can be suppressed, and the reduction of rigidity can be suppressed.
