Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a wireless charging device, and more particularly to a wireless charging device for improving the charging power and charging speed of a mobile device. Background Art
[0002] In recent years, with the development of wireless charging technology, the wireless charging function of mobile devices such as mobile phones has become increasingly popular among consumers due to its convenience. However, during the wireless charging process, both the wireless charging device and the mobile device will generate a lot of heat. For mobile devices, excessively high temperatures directly affect the performance and life of the mobile device, thereby affecting the user experience.
[0003] A conventional wireless charging device includes a transmitting coil and a transmitting driving board, wherein the transmitting driving board receives external electrical energy to drive the transmitting coil. The mobile device includes a receiving coil to electromagnetically couple with the transmitting coil and receive the electrical energy output by the transmitting coil. When the wireless charging device is in operation to charge the mobile device, the transmitting coil, the transmitting driving board in the wireless charging device, and the receiving coil in the mobile device each generate a heat source. In addition, there is also thermal resistance between the transmitting coil and the transmitting driving board, and between the transmitting coil and the receiving coil.
[0004] When a mobile device needs to be charged, the mobile device is placed and attached to the wireless charging device. During the charging process of the mobile device, since the distance between the transmitting coil of the wireless charging device and the receiving coil of the mobile device is short, the thermal resistance between the transmitting coil and the receiving coil is low, and the heat source generated by the transmitting coil cannot be dissipated into the environment, but flows directly to the mobile device. The heat source generated by the transmitting driving board also flows to the mobile device through the transmitting coil, making the mobile device prone to overheating. The mobile device is usually set with a critical temperature. When the mobile device is overheated and exceeds the critical temperature, it cannot continue to charge or needs to be charged at a reduced rate, resulting in a decrease in the charging power of the mobile device and a decrease in the charging speed.
[0005] In view of this, how to develop a wireless charging device that can improve the above-mentioned defects of the prior art is an urgent problem that the relevant technical field needs to solve. Summary of the invention
[0006] The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide a wireless charging device, which can improve the charging power and charging speed of the wireless charging device.
[0007] To achieve the above-mentioned purpose, a preferred embodiment of the present disclosure is to provide a wireless charging device for wirelessly charging a mobile device, wherein the mobile device includes a receiving coil, and the wireless charging device includes a housing, a transmitting driving board, a transmitting coil assembly and a fan. The housing includes a top plate, a bottom plate, a plurality of side walls, a partition, a support wall and a storage space. The top plate has a plurality of protrusions and a plurality of perforations, wherein the plurality of protrusions are formed by extending the top surface of the top plate in a direction away from the bottom plate, the plurality of protrusions are used to support the mobile device and form a first gap between the top plate and the mobile device, the plurality of perforations penetrate the top plate, the partition and the support wall are located between the top plate and the bottom plate, the support wall is connected to the partition and the bottom plate, and there is a second gap between the support wall and the top plate, wherein the partition and the support wall divide the storage space into a first storage space, a second storage space and a third storage space, the first storage space is located between the top plate and the partition, the second storage space is located between the partition and the bottom plate, and the first storage space and the third storage space are located on opposite sides of the support wall. The transmitting drive board is accommodated in the second accommodation space, and is used to receive and convert external electric energy into driving electric energy during operation. The transmitting coil assembly is accommodated in the first accommodation space, and is electromagnetically coupled with the receiving coil, and receives the driving electric energy output by the transmitting drive board during operation, and couples the driving electric energy to the receiving coil to charge the mobile device, wherein a third gap is provided between the transmitting coil assembly and the top plate, wherein the first gap, a plurality of through holes, the third gap, the second gap and the third accommodation space form an air flow channel to allow air flow to pass through. The fan includes an air inlet and an air outlet, wherein the air inlet is adjacent to the third accommodation space, and the air outlet is adjacent to the bottom plate, wherein the fan inhales the air flow passing through the air flow channel through the air inlet, and blows out the air flow through the air outlet.
[0008] The beneficial effect of the present disclosure is that the top plate of the wireless charging device of the present disclosure utilizes a plurality of protrusions to form a first gap between the top plate and the mobile device, thereby increasing the distance between the top plate and the mobile device, thereby increasing the thermal resistance of the first interface between the transmitting coil assembly and the receiving coil of the mobile device, so that the second heat source generated by the transmitting coil assembly is less likely to be transmitted to the receiving coil of the mobile device, so that the temperature of the mobile device can be controlled during the charging process using the wireless charging device and is less likely to exceed the critical temperature, thereby increasing the charging power and charging speed of the mobile device. The support wall 35 is located between the top plate 31 and the bottom plate 32, and is connected to the bottom plate 32, the partition plate 34, the first side wall 331 and the third side wall 333, wherein the support wall 35 includes a first sub-support portion 352 and a second sub-support portion 353, the first sub-support portion 352 and the bottom plate 32 are mutually perpendicular and connected to one side of the bottom plate 32, the first sub-support portion 352 and the partition plate 34 are mutually perpendicular and connected to the bottom surface of the partition plate 34, the second sub-support portion 353 and the partition plate 34 are mutually perpendicular and connected to one side of the partition plate 34, and a second gap 351 is formed between the second sub-support portion 353 and the top plate 31, as shown in FIG. Figure 5As shown, the first sub-support portion 352 and the second sub-support portion 353 of the support wall 35 and the partition 34 divide the accommodating space 36 into a first accommodating space 361, a second accommodating space 362 and a third accommodating space 363, wherein the first accommodating space 361 is located between the top plate 31 and the partition 34, the second accommodating space 362 is located between the partition 34 and the bottom plate 32, the third accommodating space 363 and the first accommodating space 361 are located on opposite sides of the second sub-support portion 353 of the support wall 35, and the third accommodating space 363 and the second accommodating space 362 are located on opposite sides of the first sub-support portion 352 of the support wall 35. In this embodiment, the top plate 31, the partition plate 34, the second sub-support portion 353 of the support wall 35, the first side wall 331, the second side wall 332 and the third side wall 333 define a first accommodation space 361, the bottom plate 32, the partition plate 34, the first sub-support portion 352 of the support wall 35, the first side wall 331, the second side wall 332 and the third side wall 333 define a second accommodation space 362, the top plate 31, the bottom plate 32, the first sub-support portion 352 and the second sub-support portion 353 of the support wall 35, the first side wall 331, the third side wall 333 and the fourth side wall 334 define a third accommodation space 363, wherein the first accommodation space 361 and the second accommodation space 362 are located between the third accommodation space 363 and the second side wall 332. Figure 5 It can be seen that the second gap 351 is connected between the first accommodating space 361 and the third accommodating space 363, and the first accommodating space 361 is connected to the plurality of through holes 312, so that the external airflow received by the plurality of through holes 312 flows to the third accommodating space 363 through the first accommodating space 361 and the second gap 351 in sequence. Figure 5 Indicated by arrow direction.
[0069] The emission drive board 4 is accommodated in the second accommodation space 362 and is located between the partition 34 and the bottom plate 32 so as to dissipate heat through the bottom plate 32 during operation. The emission drive board 4 is further electrically connected to an external power source (not shown) by a connecting cable (not shown) to receive external power output by the external power source. The emission drive board 4 is used to receive and convert the external power provided by the external power source into driving power during operation. Figure 6 As shown, the emission driving board 4 generates a third heat source S3 when in operation, and the emission driving board 4 itself has an emission driving board thermal resistance R3A. In this embodiment, the distance between the emission driving board 4 and the bottom plate 32 is smaller than the distance between the emission driving board 4 and the partition 34, which means that the heat energy transmitted from the emission driving board 4 to the bottom plate 32 is greater than the heat energy transmitted from the emission driving board 4 to the partition 34.
[0070] The transmitting coil assembly 5 is accommodated in the first accommodating space 361 and is located between the top plate 31 and the partition plate 34. The transmitting coil assembly 5 is used to electromagnetically couple with the receiving coil of the mobile device 2, and when the transmitting coil assembly 5 is in operation, it receives the driving power output by the transmitting driving board 4, and couples the driving power to the receiving coil of the mobile device 2, so as to wirelessly charge the mobile device 2 via the receiving coil. Figure 6 As shown, the transmitting coil assembly 5 generates a second heat source S2 during operation, and the transmitting coil assembly 5 itself has a transmitting coil assembly thermal resistance R2A, and there is a first interface thermal resistance R12 between the transmitting coil assembly 5 and the receiving coil of the mobile device 2, and there is a second interface thermal resistance R23 between the transmitting coil assembly 5 and the transmitting driving board 4. Figure 6 It can be seen that when the first interface thermal resistance R12 is small, it is easier to achieve heat energy transfer between the transmitting coil assembly 5 and the receiving coil of the mobile device 2, and when the first interface thermal resistance R12 is large, it is more difficult to achieve heat energy transfer between the transmitting coil assembly 5 and the receiving coil of the mobile device 2. Similarly, when the second interface thermal resistance R23 is small, it is easier to achieve heat energy transfer between the transmitting coil assembly 5 and the transmitting driving board 4, and when the second interface thermal resistance R23 is large, it is more difficult to achieve heat energy transfer between the transmitting coil assembly 5 and the transmitting driving board 4. Figure 5 As shown, there is a third gap 51 between the transmitting coil assembly 5 and the top plate 31, that is, the transmitting coil assembly 5 is adjacent to the third gap 51, and the third gap 51 is connected between the plurality of through holes 312 and the second gap 351, and the first gap 313, the plurality of through holes 312, the third gap 51, the second gap 351 and the third accommodating space 363 are connected to form an air flow channel, so that the external air flow can flow through the first gap 313, the plurality of through holes 312, the third gap 51, the second gap 351 and the third accommodating space 363 in sequence to dissipate heat for the transmitting coil assembly 5 adjacent to the third gap 51.
[0071] The fan 6 is disposed at the bottom of the housing 3 and outside the housing 3, and can be but not limited to a centrifugal fan, and the fan 6 includes an air inlet 61 and an air outlet 62. The air inlet 61 is adjacent to the third accommodating space 363 and communicates with the third accommodating space 363, wherein the fan 6 inhales the airflow flowing through the air flow channel through the air inlet 61. The air outlet 62 is adjacent to the bottom plate 32 to form the main air outlet of the wireless charging device 1, and blows out the airflow inhaled by the air inlet 61 through the air outlet 62, wherein the direction of the airflow blown out by the air outlet 62 is perpendicular to the direction of the airflow inhaled by the air inlet 61, and the direction of the airflow blown out by the air outlet 62 is parallel to the bottom plate 32, so as to use the airflow blown out by the air outlet 62 to take away the heat energy dissipated from the bottom plate 32.
[0072] As can be seen from the above, the top plate 31 of the wireless charging device 1 of the present embodiment uses a plurality of protrusions 311 to form a first gap 313 between the top plate 31 and the mobile device 2, thereby increasing the distance between the top plate 31 and the mobile device 2, so that the first interface thermal resistance R12 between the transmitting coil assembly 5 and the receiving coil of the mobile device 2 increases, so that the second heat source S2 generated by the transmitting coil assembly 5 is more difficult to transmit to the receiving coil of the mobile device 2, so that the temperature of the mobile device 2 can be controlled during the charging process using the wireless charging device 1 and is not likely to exceed the critical temperature, thereby increasing the charging power of the mobile device 2 and the charging speed. In addition, since there is a first gap 313 between the top plate 31 and the mobile device 2, the external airflow can flow into the interior of the wireless charging device 1 through the first gap 313 to achieve the effect of heat dissipation of the wireless charging device 1. Furthermore, in order to further effectively dissipate heat from the internal components of the wireless charging device 1, a third gap 51 is provided between the transmitting coil assembly 5 and the top plate 31 of the present disclosure, and a first accommodation space 361, a second accommodation space 362, and a third accommodation space 363 are further divided by the partition plate 34 and the supporting wall 35. The first gap 313, the plurality of through holes 312, the third gap 51, the second gap 351, and the third accommodation space 363 of the wireless charging device 1 are connected to form an air flow channel, so as to simultaneously dissipate heat from the internal components of the mobile device 2 and the wireless charging device 1. (i.e., the transmitting coil assembly 5 and the driving board 4) are used to dissipate heat, that is, the receiving coil thermal resistance R1A, the transmitting coil assembly thermal resistance R2A of the transmitting coil assembly 5 and the driving board thermal resistance R3A of the driving board 4 in the mobile device 2 are reduced at the same time, and because the external airflow flows through the first gap 313, the plurality of through holes 312, the third gap 51, the second gap 351 and the third accommodating space 363 in sequence, the mobile device 2 which is more sensitive to the heat source can dissipate heat first, and then the transmitting coil assembly 5 is dissipated, and then the fan 6 is used to dissipate heat for the driving board 4 adjacent to the bottom plate 32. In addition, the wireless charging device 1 of the present disclosure further includes a fan 6 to accelerate the airflow in the air flow channel to blow out, thereby achieving the effect of accelerating the heat dissipation of the bottom plate 32. In addition, the above-mentioned air flow channel does not directly pass through the transmitting driving board 4, so the airflow in the air flow channel will not directly contact the transmitting driving board 4, so that the transmitting driving board 4 of the wireless charging device 1 can achieve the effect of waterproof and dustproof. Furthermore, since the distance between the transmitting driving board 4 and the bottom plate 32 is smaller than the distance between the transmitting driving board 4 and the partition 34, the second interface thermal resistance R23 between the transmitting coil assembly 5 and the transmitting driving board 4 increases, so that the third heat source S3 generated by the transmitting driving board 4 is more easily transmitted to the bottom plate 32, so that the airflow blown by the fan 6 can take away the heat energy dissipated from the bottom plate 32, thereby achieving the effect of cooling the transmitting driving board 4.
[0073] Please review Figure 5In some embodiments, the partition 34 of the shell 3 is made of metal, and the transmitting coil assembly 5 is disposed in the first accommodating space 361 and is more closely attached to the partition 34 , so that the transmitting coil assembly 5 can utilize the metal partition 34 for heat dissipation.
[0074] In some embodiments, such as Figure 4 As shown, the bottom plate 32 further includes a plurality of heat dissipation fins 322, which are formed by extending a side of the bottom plate 32 toward the outside of the housing 3, and the air outlet 62 of the fan 6 is adjacent to the heat dissipation fins 322 of the bottom plate 32. The plurality of heat dissipation fins 322 are sequentially arranged in parallel between the first side wall 331 and the third side wall 333, and each heat dissipation fin 322 may be, but is not limited to, perpendicular to the bottom plate 32, and the channel formed between each heat dissipation fin 322 and the adjacent heat dissipation fin 322 is parallel to the air flow direction blown out of the air outlet 62 of the fan 6, so that the air flow blown out of the air outlet 62 of the fan 6 can flow through the channel between each heat dissipation fin 322 and the adjacent heat dissipation fin 322, and can achieve the effect of accelerating heat dissipation through the heat dissipation fin 322.
[0075] In some embodiments, such as Figure 2 and Figure 4 As shown, a plurality of switch elements 8 are provided on the transmitting drive board 4 to control the operation of the wireless charging device 1, and the plurality of switch elements 8 are provided on a side of the transmitting drive board 4 adjacent to the bottom plate 32, so that the heat energy generated by the plurality of switch elements 8 can be transmitted to the bottom plate 32 for heat dissipation. An inductor 9 is further provided on the transmitting drive board 4, and the inductor 9 is provided on a side of the transmitting drive board 4 adjacent to the bottom plate 32, so that the heat energy generated by the inductor 9 can be transmitted to the bottom plate 32 for heat dissipation. In some embodiments, the wireless charging device 1 further includes a fan bracket 63, which is connected to the bottom of the housing 3 to fix the fan 6. In some embodiments, the transmitting drive board 4 has a through hole 43 that passes through the transmitting drive board 4. The housing 3 has a through hole 37 that is provided on a side of the partition 34 adjacent to the transmitting drive board 4, wherein the through hole 37 of the housing 3 has a threaded hole. The base plate 32 further includes a connecting portion 44, which is formed by extending the base plate 32 toward the direction of the launch drive board 4. The connecting portion 44 includes a through hole 441, which is located at the through hole 43 of the launch drive board 4 and the through hole 37 of the shell 3, so that bolts or screws (not shown) are used to sequentially penetrate the through hole 441 of the connecting portion 44, the through hole 43 of the launch drive board 4 and the through hole 37 of the shell 3, and the bolts or screws are locked in the threaded holes in the through hole 37 of the shell 7 to support the launch drive board 4 on the base plate 32.
[0076] See also Figure 5, there is a fourth gap 41 between the emission driving board 4 and the bottom plate 32, and the wireless charging device 1 further includes a connecting material 42, which may be, but is not limited to, a highly thermally conductive flexible material, and the connecting material 42 is disposed in the fourth gap 41 to connect between the emission driving board 4 and the bottom plate 32, so that the emission driving board 4 can be heat-conducted to the bottom plate 32 via the connecting material 42, so as to dissipate heat via the bottom plate 32. In some embodiments, the connecting material 42 may be, but is not limited to, a heat dissipation adhesive or a heat dissipation pad.
[0077] See also Figure 7 and Figure 8 ,in Figure 7 This is a schematic diagram of the exploded structure of the wireless charging device according to the second preferred embodiment of the present disclosure. Figure 8 for Figure 7 The cross-sectional structure diagram of the wireless charging device shown is along the line A-A'. Figure 2 The wireless charging device 1 shown in the figure, the wireless charging device 1a of this embodiment further includes a wireless communication board 7, such as but not limited to a near-field communication board (Near-field communication, NFC), such as Figure 7 As shown, the wireless communication board 7 is disposed in the first accommodation space 361, adjacent to the second gap 351, and located between the top plate 31 and the transmitting coil assembly 5, so that the wireless charging device 1a can have a wireless communication function. Since the wireless communication board 7 is located in the air flow channel (i.e., the second gap 351) of the wireless charging device 1a, the air flow passing through the air flow channel can be used for heat dissipation. The air flow direction of this embodiment is as follows Figure 8 As shown, it is similar to Figure 5 The air flow direction is shown in the figure, so it will not be repeated here.
[0078] In summary, the top plate of the wireless charging device disclosed in the present invention utilizes a plurality of protrusions to form a first gap between the top plate and the mobile device, thereby increasing the distance between the top plate and the mobile device, so that the thermal resistance of the first interface between the transmitting coil assembly and the receiving coil of the mobile device increases, and thus the second heat source generated by the transmitting coil assembly is less likely to be transmitted to the receiving coil of the mobile device, so that the temperature of the mobile device can be controlled during the charging process using the wireless charging device and is less likely to exceed the critical temperature, thereby increasing the charging power and charging speed of the mobile device. In addition, since there is a first gap between the top plate and the mobile device, the external airflow can flow into the interior of the wireless charging device through the first gap to achieve the effect of heat dissipation of the wireless charging device. Furthermore, in order to further effectively dissipate heat from the internal components of the wireless charging device, the transmitting coil assembly of the present disclosure has a third gap between the top plate, and the partition and the supporting wall are used to distinguish the first accommodation space, the second accommodation space and the third accommodation space, and the first gap, the plurality of through holes, the third gap, the second gap and the third accommodation space of the wireless charging device are connected to form an air flow channel, so as to dissipate heat from the mobile device and the internal components of the wireless charging device (i.e., the transmitting coil assembly and the driving board) at the same time, that is, to reduce the thermal resistance of the receiving coil, the transmitting coil assembly and the driving board in the mobile device at the same time, and because the external airflow flows through the first gap, the plurality of through holes, the third gap, the second gap and the third accommodation space in sequence, the mobile device that is more sensitive to heat sources can be dissipated first, and then the transmitting coil assembly is dissipated, and then the driving board adjacent to the bottom plate is dissipated by the fan. In addition, the wireless charging device of the present disclosure also includes a fan to accelerate the airflow in the air flow channel, thereby achieving the effect of accelerating the heat dissipation of the bottom plate. In addition, the air flow channel does not directly pass through the transmitting drive board, so the airflow in the air flow channel will not directly contact the transmitting drive board, so that the transmitting drive board of the wireless charging device can achieve the effect of waterproof and dustproof. Furthermore, since the transmitting drive board is adjacent to the bottom plate, the third heat source generated by the transmitting drive board can be easily transmitted to the bottom plate, so that the airflow blown by the fan can take away the heat energy dissipated by the bottom plate, thereby achieving the effect of heat dissipation of the transmitting drive board.
