In some embodiments, the rigid shaft 20 may be made generally of all metals and alloys thereof now known or later developed or discovered, including, but not limited to, copper, steel, aluminum, tungsten, titanium, and / or any combination thereof.

[0043] In some embodiments, the multi-nozzle adapter 14 can have any height and / or any width suitable for accommodating the nozzles 18 and / or the fluid outlets 22. In some embodiments, the multi-nozzle adapter 14 can have multiple heights and / or widths. Any total height and / or width suitable for at least partially accommodating the nozzles 18 and / or the fluid outlets 22 is acceptable. In some embodiments, the multi-nozzle adapter 14 can have a height of 10 mm or more, preferably 20 mm or more (e.g., 25 mm to 40 mm, 30 mm to 35 mm). In some embodiments, the multi-nozzle adapter 14 can have a width of 10 cm to 50 cm. In some embodiments, the multi-nozzle adapter 14 can have a width of 2 cm or more (e.g., 15 cm to 45 cm, 10 cm to 15 cm, 3 cm to 7 cm). In some embodiments, the multi-nozzle adapter 14 can have a width of 20 cm to 40 cm. In some embodiments, the diameter of each nozzle 18 and the diameter of each fluid outlet 22 can be substantially the same and / or consistent. In some embodiments, the diameter of each nozzle 18 may be 10 mm or less, preferably 5 mm or less, such as 3 mm or less, 0.5 mm to 5 mm, 1 mm to 3 mm, or 1 mm to 10 mm (e.g., 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 7 mm, 8 mm, 9 mm). In some embodiments, the fluid conveyor 12 may have a length of 15 cm to 25 cm (e.g., 17 cm, 18 cm, 19 cm, 20 cm, 21 cm, 22 cm, 23 cm, 24 cm). In some embodiments, the diameter of each fluid outlet 22 may be 1 mm to 10 mm (e.g., 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 7 mm, 8 mm, 9 mm). The diameter of each nozzle 18 may be equal to or less than the diameter of the corresponding fluid outlet 22. In some embodiments, the fluid conveyor 12 may have a length of 15 cm to 25 cm (e.g., 17 cm, 18 cm, 19 cm, 20 cm, 21 cm, 22 cm, 23 cm, 24 cm).

In some embodiments, the flow rate ratio of the adhesive can be 10CC / second to 20CC / second. In the absence of the shunt adapter 14, the adhesive application time is about 13 to 15 seconds (e.g., 14 rows 13.6 seconds) and the pressing time is about 14 to 16 seconds (e.g., 15 seconds). In the case of gluing two or more objects (such as, objects in the form of sheets), the pressing time is the time when pressure must be maintained for the adhesive on the contact surface to spread. In the case of a shunt adapter, the adhesive application time is about 2 to 3 seconds (e.g., 2.6 seconds for 48 rows), and the pressing time is 7 to 9 seconds (e.g., 8 seconds). For an adapter with 24 fluid outlets, the application time is reduced to 1 to 3 seconds (e.g., 1.76 seconds). The reduced application time and pressing time have increased the productivity of the process from about 2 to 2.5 pieces / minute to about 4.5 to 5 pieces / minute. Moreover, the overall diffusion of the glue is better and more controllable.

[0045] In some embodiments, a method for uniformly applying adhesive to floor substrate is contemplated. The method includes loading resin and hardener into separate chambers of adhesive dispenser 30. The method may also include causing resin and hardener to flow from adhesive dispenser 30 to fluid conveyor 12, respectively. In some embodiments, the method also includes mixing resin and hardener inside fluid conveyor 12, or otherwise producing adhesive. Multi-nozzle adapter 14 may be connected to fluid conveyor 12. Adhesive may then be supplied to multi-nozzle adapter 14 through fluid inlet 16. Each nozzle 18 may receive a portion of the adhesive supplied and discharge this portion of adhesive through the coupled fluid outlet 22. In some embodiments, adhesive may be supplied to multi-nozzle valve at ambient temperature. In other embodiments, resin and / or hardener may be heated before being loaded into dispenser 30.
